Honestly I think this game needs exclusive rewards in PvP game modes, including legendary weapons and high level armor skins.

there was tournament called “Tournament of Legends”. they rewarded the winner legendary weapons. you didn’t win ?

well, OP, you think all your effort in getting those skill point scrolls are wasted ? i have wasted my gold getting my engi traited, because that’s the way i wanted to play, by purchasing traits . now, with the upcoming trait system changes, we would be able to unlock almost everything in core specialization.

do you think anet will refund my gold that i spent in getting those traits ? i don’t think so. what would i do, complain ? no, just live with it…..

from my MMO experience, crafting only make the end item increases in value if the recipe is rare and “one-time use” ….

My guild single target only bounty run order of preference :

3. Short-fused Felix

you really have to try every aspect of the game to have the fun.

PvE, WvW, sPvP, jumping puzzle, dungeons, fractals, map exploration, legendary crafting, personal story etc etc. do them all , even if on a smaller scale. if you focus only on certain aspect you’ll get bored very quickly….

what nerf ? you can still dump 4 light armor boot obtainable from the karma vendor as in the picture below, and get the salvageable boot for linen…

this method is worth doing when your home server garrison in wvw has waypoint, otherwise some wp cost to LA will have to come in the calculation.

Just idling somewhere won’t give you rewards, nor killing NPC’s. The active work needed to trigger reward is not a very lucrative farm.
