i supposed the rich ori node was removed after some complain about low levels mining them using the karma mining pick, which i think pretty lame . they could have simply add the requirement for using it to be lvl 60+ , and leave the rich vein alone….

hey bro if you haven’t heard the rankings are getting reset after this match is done, so doesn’t really matter

as far as i understand, the ranking stays for the next week match up, only the points reset… so dropping 1 tier for SoS is a good strategy to immediately get back to Tier 1 a week after that since SoS would easily come out top in the SoSvTCvFA if it happens……

in fact, any roflstomping server after the reset has a chance to be in Tier 1 a week after that…

i don’t think the warriors of Kaineng have any problem with ANet pushing the reset button….. business as usual…..

time to practise mass invi zerg rush….

don’t worry EBay, in 2 weeks time you’ll be in Tier 1 with Sorrow’s Furnace and Sea of Sorrow…..

lol… my take is SoS is having a break until the point reset….. lose much points now so that you can be in tier 2 next match up and then beat the crap out of the other server’s kitten and gain a lot of point to be in Tier 1 a week after…..

do dungeons, easier…. casually, do them consistently for 2 weeks, and you’ll get your full set….

getting the WvW soldier (P/T/V) exotics using badges is way too slow, unless you get a lot of badges every day…..

if you like group play, and like trolling the other group (enemy in WvW), definitely play a mesmer….

A simple system of “winner go to next tier” and “loser goes to a lower tier” would work…..

yeah… i remember suggesting this system too in another thread. would be the most suitable system to avoid long boring match ups….. you know, different enemy every week would be fun ( except of course tier 1 and tier 8, where 2 servers will stuck there)

relax people…. this is only temporary… yes whichever servers blow out in the next match up will be in upper tiers in the week after that, but the situation will come back to where it is now after a month… we can wait a month can’t we ?

well… a ranger with 5% extra longbow range could easily chop off that tree then…..

simpler resolution would be winner goes up 1 tier, loser goes down 1 tier, 2nd place stays, apart from tier 1 ( only 3rd place goes down) and tier 8 (only 1st place goes up)….

lol… the recent mass transfer mess up has screwed up our progression. i wonder why people would predict CD to be in Tier 3…. most likely Tier 4 or Tier 5 even….. we can’t even beat DB….

CD is full most of the time but most players are content PVEr….. unless these PVEr come out and play WvW, we won’t stay in Tier 3 for long…. honestly.

you are most welcome to Crystal Desert. in fact we welcome any new addition to the server. of course, you might want to send your scout to here 1st before you make the final decision. the other servers of course they would say their server is better bla bla, but we would like you to experience it for yourself…..

along with the invitation to all players from other servers to join CD, i would also like to make a call-to-arm to all citizens of Crystal Desert.

if you haven’t been or not actively doing WvW, i think it is time to do so. we have improved in terms of coverage in the last couple of months, but receiving reinforcement from outside alone will not be enough.

if you haven’t been doing it at all, try to spend a couple of hours a day, and see how fun it is. if you’re not sure what to do, follow our commanders, and they’ll teach you how to crush our enemy.

let us rise together and fight side by side against any server thrown at us by the glicko rating system.

lol… yeah..same here.. i really wonder where did the OP get the idea that GW2 is dead.. perhaps he went to an an overflow and see less people… well the thing is, if you get to the overflow when you port to LA, the game is faaaarrrr from dead….

i have 7 character slots, after unlocking 2 slots with gems. my initial reaction to the game was “i’ve got to try each class and make them 80”. now i have 4 lvl 80 character, and my 5th character in now at lvl 39.

now, i feel like 5 slots in really sufficient enough actually. levelling 5 characters is more than enough for you to enjoy the game. feel kinda regret wasting my gems on those 2 slots. well, people may say you can use those slots for “banking” character, but i don’t need banking character, because I already unlocked all my bank panes.

my thief would probably the last toon i level for now. that would be the 5th character to be 80. the other 2 can wait until probably when the expansion come out.

levelling alts to lvl 80 is good, if you want to try different kind of play style (burst, condition, tanky etc) but not to many. not good for your health (and wallet)….

yeah tier= masterpiece,rare, exotic, ascended,legendary etc.

you probably won’t see another tier coming this 2013, but you may see lvl 100 exotics… there goes lvl 80 exotics down the drain…..

- We are Malaysian-based guild @ Crystal Desert.
- Currently have 100+ registered members.
- We do PVE/WvWvW/Dungeons. Once in a while we do sPvP.
- We go WvWvW for lulz almost every night around 9pm-1am
- We use TeamSpeak 3 for voice chat.
- Main language is Malay in guild chat and TeamSpeak 3, although we communicate in English once in a while when necessary

because i get the feeling it has a little bit something to do with merging population for better/balanced WvW., while at the same time reducing their server maintenance costs…

don’t know, just the way i view it….

with the recent population cap increased for each server, could this mean server merge is in progress ?

less server -> less maintenance -> less overhead cost.

increase the server population size -> announce server merge/shutdown and let the player move to the other servers -> more balanced WvW as well…..

HAX has been on CD since launch.

it was me who registered HAX last week on that site after learning about the site on GW2 forum.

we have around 100 player in the guild, although only around 15-20+ active each night. we mostly active in WvW during weekend…
