When you get hit by multiple CC’s by multiple people all focusing you, you will die. That’s how this game works. Guardians will die, Warriors will die. Anyone will die.

As Thieves, we have more ways to avoid getting stuck in such a horrible position in the first place. That’s the entire point of our class.

people just spam knock downs … this was a pretty hard core nerf ! i can’t even begin to tell u how much fun it is to play pvp and get staggered/knocked down the whole game by engines hammer wars and so on . plz tell me i am not the only one who thinks the nerd on infiltrators strike is insane . i love being a 10.000 hp punching bag not this is a nightmare to say the least

the wars health that regens so fast a thief can’t burst them down unless there 2+ people attacking . lol the mesmers that can kill a thief pretty much with one shatter skill . the tele nuke guards that kill a thief before they can move . lol there is so many easy ways to kill a thief with our crazy low health and it does not even matter because
(STEALTH STINKS) even if u blind on stealth it only protects u from one hit and anyone who thinks stealth is op learn to counter u bunch of rabbits . war hammer & stomp any aoe knock down lol … i wish people would make a thread where they can learn how to counter a thief with there build instead of just getting it nerfed to death lol i am so tired of people saying how op stealth/ the thief is … knock downs, aoe, stuns immobilize…. lol the more u take our survival skills away nerfing & vigor infiltrate strike. i am just going to go full glass and wait for my team to hurt u than go for the finishing kill… if u take away what keeps us alive there is no reason for me to go head on with some one i will just be really cheep lol u r nerfing the thief so we will play super cheep lol

its so sad there is a nerf wish list 4 the thief . u need a wish list telling u how to use your build against a thief lol thief’s r easy to kill if u do it right . the only class u should have trouble killing a thief with is like an element unless they r running a d/d regen element than the thief will have some trouble

mmmm i think its just we know this is a bad change and we dont want to start to complain after it happens no one wants there thief to suck for how ever long it will take for them to go and fix it again . there r no good sides to this nerf. but my biggest problem is the infiltrate strike not being able to use the skill when stunned = dead thief no matter what way u look at it it will turn in to a almost useless skill… but i don’t feel good about the perma stealth i really don’t feel like it is op but that just might be me because i know how to kill a thief . but i guess if any thing should be nerfed its the perma stealth that was semi reasonable . but the infiltrate strike nerf is the word thing i have ever heard and the added cast time lol just throw both s/d s/p wep combos out the window …. ps the mesmer will be a better stealth build soon they can go in stealth a lot now if played right ! a thief should have more stealth than a mesmer easy! not to mention how powerful mesmers r don’t want them to get nerfed to death like the thief

and we have a award wining genius ty . and messing with infiltrate strike like they r going to just means not use the sword at all or u will die it will be a useless skill kind a real bummer . i am srry but i don’t even think perma stealth is op and i don’t even use it i don’t think its op because even with perma stealth i can use a tele nuke guard . crit shatter mesmer . hammer war . engine is like the best class for killing thief’s i feel . but the tele nuke guard being the best i think because u teleport to them and can kill them before that even move u only need to see them for a sec and that thief is dead every time that tele skill is charged its not even funny i wish i had a vid

ya but the thief is going to be nerfed even more the thief is a cool class and all i don’t think it is amazing and worth nerfing as much as it gets but with all the nerfs and thief hate it is going to be impossible to play we get nerfed to death everyone wants us to hold still so that they can smash us in 3 hits. a good war mesmer engie necro ranger guard pretty much anything but an element can kill a thief in a sec or 2 if played right . but those d/d elements can have mad health regen so they can put up a good fight for a thief to . every one thinks the thief is op till they play it and start to see some of the challenges and once u really play a thief u realize just how easy they r to kill

i don’t play a condition thief and i don’t really want to they would need to add crit skills to i wish that gave every class 5-6 new skills and traits to pick from

2. make mesmer’s more mobile / give rangers even more range maybe a rifle to snipe!

What: Stealth attack skills
Why: Special skills just for the thieves, with each weapon having its own unique stealth attack? All these special skills should be removed, since there’s no easy way to counter them from the thief stealth.

(the sad part is that I got the inspiration for this nerf from someone who wanted backstab to be half damage, instead of double damage)

it does not matter what class i am attacking my back stabs r all ways 3500-4500. is that low or is it just me ? again i have 3000power/50precision/50 crit what can i do to get a better back stab ? with almost full zerk armor and weps/ 2ascendent daggers…. i have 30 in crit 30 in stealth & 10 in the last one … and there people running sword dagger and getting huge backstabs . how r that doing this i can only get a 1500 back stab with sword dagger lol ???? any help would be awesome

ok right now i have 3000 power 50 precision and 50 crit . i have almost full zerk but i don’t under stand how people r pumping out such big numbers . my dd back stabs r between 3500 and 4500 ….but there is a lot of s/d thief that r doing some pretty big back stabs . and when i try the sword my back stabs r junk …. i guess i am wondering what i can change to get better dd or ds stabs ? should i try to get more crit damage ? my traits r 30 in crit 30 in stealth and 10 in the last one . i want to use the sword dagger but i feel like it does no damage ? and i feel like i should be able to do bigger back stabs with my dd .

and how can u limit the # of times u can join partys ? there r way to many people who r classiest and hate on classes its tough to get parties as rangers thieft some people olny want wars and this is makeing it tough to get a group after u have tried to join many groups

plz plz plz add temples to the new lfg tool . there r way to many temples not being run and and its a nightmare to try to get people especially if u r stuck on small server . and not in a rush to pay that much just to swap . i really want to throw this out there while this is still in beta … plz add temples

ok hi everyone so i just got my thief to lvl 80 and i am really likeing the stealth crit build
i have

(30 in crit strikes) . t1 . +7% chance from behind …t2 +5% precision converted to vitality… and t3 … 100% crit on stealth.

(30 in shadow arts ) . t1 description skills charge 20% faster… t2 gain initiative in stealth … t3 gain health in stealth …
and for the last 10 points i used them on trickery … whan u & allies steal u gain fury and might 10 secs….
and for weapons i use d/d + s/p but i change s/p for the short bow.
on the d/d i use superior sigils of strength and battle giveing me a 30% chance to gain might on crits and 3 stacks of might on wep swap … for the rune i have ben useing superior rune of strength (1) +20 power
(2) + 20% might duration
(3) +3 % chance gane might on hit
(4) + 90 power
(5) + 5 damage when u have might
but i dont really know what to get for armor what i have now i feel like i am to squishy and stuff if anyone could give me some recommendations that would be awesome

omg i am sooo ready 4 the largos and tengu to come out i really like the idea of a under water race … idk but i think it would be awesome if the tengus home land was up in the trees … thay will need some cool tier 3 cultural… but i cant wait 4 the largos there is so much to do on land i want to check out the water more

r thay ever going to release the largos as a playable race that would be awesome.
i heard that there is going to be a jungle dragon and an water dragon if or when thay release that it would be amazing if thay released the tengu and largos as playable characters to go along with that . does anyone know anything on this

idk i think a living bounty with rewards could be a nice add on to the living world and to guild missions idk there is a lot of ways u could go with a live bounty board but i think it would be awesome and i hope someone thinks about this

it would be so nice to have an active bounty board where u could post someone who has stolen from your guild .
i mean it stinks when someone go in the guild bank and takes everything u can see there name and when it was taken but cant really do anything about it an active bounty board would let people no who not to give bank rights to and lol it would be fun to track down sneaks who have stolen good in pve or wvw .
