well i mean not just the thief … but all the other classes to !
but i like the idea of a buff list to go with the nerf list but it would give ANET a lil more to work with instead of just millions of negative feed back on one class

it would be great if people though of ways to improve there class instead of nerfing the thief to the ground 24/7 think of something positive and grow than . something
negative just because u got killed . think what is missing from your class it is all ways the negatives don’t take from the game grow it+++++ .

i would say war if u want to move fast a thief can’t out run a war . u didn’t like the guard because a thief can out run u idk . i say go to war . or go guard . and just not worry about thief’s running . or engine . u can have a bad @s5 looking engine still … elements r pretty sweet to . i have a lot of fun as a element and d/d elements can be fast

i see people spamming sb skill 3 all the time and dogging like crazy and they still get killed there is a prob with this lol ?

i mean really i want to see my thief rolling around in a wheel chair lol . ill come rolling up to u in wvw and hit u with my staff after u get rid of the sword dagger pistol and short bow. than the staff can have 2 skills one to hit u with and one so i can stand up out of my wheel chair for 10 secs XD… o wait 10 secs that would be op 5

not much dif than death blossom but moves u back . but death blossom can at least do damage

d/P or d/d-with sb is still where it is at. love to be able to move through a zerg and take my targets as i choose than drop back drop some bombs and jump back in and just keep it up till there is nothing left of the enemy team XD

every one just wants the thief to hold still so they can smash it in 2 hits

lets just say it is a condition build and they have more survival. last a lot longer than a full zerk build.

i play with 10 – 15 fps lol on a 2007 i mac
and never had this lag time on thief’s

and this is y that don’t need to nerf stealth there is a counter to it

wish they would give us back our stun breaker on the sword or something to replace it still not happy about that part of the dec 10 nerf.

not a fan of the traps NEVER USE THEM … i like the shadow trap but u can’t have a bush tree or any thing in the way don’t mind the ambush one i guess .. i guess i don’t like the part how u can dodge over them and they r just a short bar u place down so it is pretty easy to just walk around if u notice it . rangers traps r better …. wish the thief had ground targeting for traps like the ranger at least i think our traps r junk …..

i would love it if that made ascended gear at least account bound . so i can give it to a dif character same with legends…no reason not to ….. plz plz plz plz plz plz plz

it is not like u need ascended gear it is only a lil better than exotic . i know people with like a full set ascended gear and they r mad because that don’t notice much a difference in the gear and that put all that work in to it ….if u want to be a perfectionist go for full ascended but u don’t really need it … but i think some items r a lil to tough to get and they should have better ways of getting them so i don’t need to spend sooooooo much time grinding …. like linen is a pain to get and i eather need to grind for lots of gold to buy it off the black lion … but if i want to go out and find it and save my money it is next to impossible … CHARGED LOADSTONES need a few more drop spots or something …………. lol linen and cotton should be gathered the same way as the cooking goods but have there own plant … some of the things we r forced to grind for in a system that is made to make it hard to grind and is a lil bit ridiculous …. don’t get me wrong most of the items r fine and u can go find a nice amount in reasonable time ….. some of these r insane though and a total pain to grind …… wish there was a chance for loadstones and stuff to drop from wvw bags

not to mention how much they can easily access retaliation !

and i don’t really want the mesmer to be nerfed to the ground . but the thief needs something i would love to be out of this wheelchair

i know u r talking bout using 2 weapons but i wish they could do something for single pistol single dagger single sword
we r able to use them but we have 3 skills … but no one would ever use them they r not worth it
i wish they could do something with them
but any way that we get new weapons / wep combos / skills i am happy

play pvp so u do not wast money till u have a vague idea of what direction u want to go

ENGIE smap bunker … evin if i am using sword dagger to steal there boons it is crazy hard 1v1 ya run
even if u have a buddy on your side the engine holds up like a mad man
had a pvp match with 4 engine spam bunker builds and that sat at all the cap points and no one could touch them

ya i think that ice stab from the elements is bad .

there was someone flying around our wvw and moving from supply camp to castles in a blink of a eye i would have reported him but i could not click and have time to report he was moving so fast!
and the only way u even knew he was there was a lil blur but the name tag stuck out
it was insane …… nothing is impossible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but most of us just play the class we pick
the thief is good at jumping in on a fight to help finish off there juggernaut or solo
when u see a thief u just need to watch your back bait them in thief’s have low hp
i love fighting thief’s when i am a element or guard ranger idk but if a thief is running sword dagger i know they will try to steel my boons and that will be the last thing u want . so i try to unload before they see it coming .but the thief is the king of surprise i feel when fighting a thief it is a 50/50 chance of winning on what they r running! but depending how much exp u have vs a thief is the factor that can make wining with odds on your side
guards tele skill to jump them and nuke with symbols and spinning wrath is awesome vs a thief if u have enough power in it but u can kill a glassy thief before they have time to react
it is a game of rock paper scissors

i love my thief and other classes but i have all my ascend gear for my thief and do not feel like getting more for a dif character now but if i don’t want to play my thief y keep trying

lol as much as i want to see this …. this is a lame idea for a new wep set for classes to use ! a normal long range wep like a spear for melee combat would add diversity to the game .
{ idk what the range would be but longer than the great sword! }
but it seems like this forum really is just for the people who love the look of a scythe.
i mean thats y the necro has that black thing that comes out of the staff to make any staff look like a scythe when a necro uses it ! ………….. but to be honest i love the idea of added new weapon combos! new weapon sets! and character classes to change up the game

this fight comes down to the thief vs the war lol and just because the thief has stealth does not mean it is better lol i am a thief and i fear wars. that does not mean i can not kill u espically if i jump in to a fight i will win . but to take on a war with full health that is not easy no matter how many back stabs i get in !n and normally get killed by the war or someone else ! sometimes i get lucky

lol this is sad .. no matter how many times i get killed by a war in 2 hits or get blasted by an element or blown up by a engine or mesmer lol i don’t go cry on there forum and say how op that r i try harder to kill them i ask ways to get better make my build better . every time a thief kills some one they rage quit and hit the forums instead of trying to learn how to kill the thief they try to kill us with nerfs …and i am not only a thief i play guard ranger and am starting to play mesmer now because the thief is getting nerfed to death and the mesmer is insane. but now i have a thief with all this ascended gear and idk if i want to keep playing it because it sucks now . it is really lame to put all this time in to a character and then be nerfed to death . by people who have a zerg mentality and will never try to get better at playing there class. give us the stun break back on the sword or something but u got us in a wheel chair with cancer and 2 broke legs lol… ps the thief is not a support class i don’t want a lame venom heal skill and be pushed to support lol or my guard would have all this ascended gear not my thief

lol ya now the thief rolls around in a wheel chair . as our character symbol instead of the dagger and key we should have a handicap plaque :P

o please just give us our stun break back on the sword u can not use the sword for wvw with out that stun breaker u can semi pull it off in pvp but u r fighting a controllable # of people . but it is tricky in pvp

lol i want my money back :P .. before this i was happy for the most part to spend my money on the gem shop because for the most part they did a good job but this crosses the line!.!.! and that talk about fair and balance and it opening up new builds… it is not fair and balanced the mesmer has a stun breaker as a #2 skill and we do not any more!… my main prob with this patch is the infiltrator strike ! plz give us our stun breaker back this is not right ! even if u make the return cost more initiative let us have our stun breaker or the sword is useless ! i can live with the perma stealth and vigor nerf if we got our stun breaker so we don’t die all the time/ half to be a support class … but this was a HUGE NERF and i don’t think it was fair and balanced at all .. and the only new build i have seen it open so far is the support build which is lame !… srry i don’t

i can live with the perma stealth . it is the infiltrators strike that matters …. we can get smashed to death in 3 hits !thats where this nerf is getting pushed to far. don’t get me wrong i will miss the stealth but that was op… not everything else u r striping our class down to nothing

i am a fellow thief player and i LOVE the changes made. it was the right way to nerf permastealth + infiltrators return as they were OP like hell. now dont come with other professions and their OP stuff, that has no place here. everything which is OP has to go away.

lol i think all classes should be able to have a outnumbered fight just like the war or mesmer or what ever . but just because we r able to jump in a fight and help finish off that persons rampage dos not mean we should be forced to be a finisher/ support class lol

well i know i was going for ascend armor for my thief . and would have bought gems to help get that . but there is no reason for me to get ascend armor for a class i no longer want to play … and just the same i was going to get the bolt but y would i ever do that if the sword sucks for the thief ! lol i kept telling my self maybe it won’t be that bad … lol i don’t want to play a support thief ! we where never meant to play support ! thats y we got that new lame venom healing skill so we can be a support class lol really . i mean REALLY i am going to be taking a break from this game i did not get all this ascend gear just to watch my class go down the drain and become a support class i would be a guard if i wanted to play support !
