I really like GW2’s combat, the only thing I would add would be an aggro meter so we could control the boss aggro with taunts. Other than that everything else is fine.

I always guest to Blackgate to do temples and have never run into overflow. I think you are just making stories up.

Look guys, it’s clear what SOR is doing. When they are matched together with SBI against a 3rd server, they can tag team. In return, when we are matched against SOR with a 3rd server (JQ or BG) we can return the favour and play kingmaker by focusing on disrupting SOR.

There’s nothing wrong with this, just watch a few seasons of Survivor to understand how politics works. But let’s not assume that everyone should play fair and hold others to our own ideals of honor.

No it’s not, stop trolling. Drop bears kill over 300 people annually, they are a bane to australias tourism industry and the majority of the deaths come from foreigners who don’t know there are just some parts in the bush where you just don’t go.

Does JQ still need SEA guild?

Power Necro is responsible for maintaining 25 stacks of vulnerability on the enemy while dealing reasonable DPS.

Condition Necro is as above, except replace vulnerability with Bleed and replace enemy with every enemy.

Necro is also capable of maintaining over 15 stacks of Might solo. This means that you aren’t as dependable on group comp to reach full potential.

The best part of Necro – Death Shroud , a big OHKITTEN button that absorbs damage and allows you to gap close or run away.

Skill 1 chain
Deathly Gaze – .5s – Deal damage and steal life if hp over 50%
Deathly Chill – .5s – Deal damage and apply 1s Chill
Deathly Swarm – 1s – Deal damage to target and all surrounding foes.

Skill 2 – Necrotic Traversal – 8s – Teleport to target foe. Creates a Poison cloud at target location for 3s.

Skill 3 – Spinal Shivers – 15s – 3s Block. Interrupt the next attack and apply Torment on interrupt.

Torch design: Burns and removes conditions.
Skill 4 – Coldfire Night – 20s – Apply Burning, Chilled and Blind to yourself and target foe.
Skill 5 – Plague Touch – 25s – Transfer up to 3 conditions from yourself to a foe.

Master Trait – Ring of Fire – Torch skills now affect up to 5 foes around you.

I run 30/25/0/0/15 for one good reason: the traits lend itself to

a) Power Necro
b) Condition Necro
c) Well WvW Necro

Obviously if you use the Necro since beta you would have accrued 3 sets of armor, Zerk Rabid and Soldier, and thus have a variety of options to play with.

1. 123/456 * balanced matchup

3rd server gets favourable matchup
2. 124/356

2nd server gets favourable matchup

1st server gets favourable matchup
8.234/156
9.235/146
10.236/145

So ideally 1 match out of 2-4, 5-7 and 8-10 gets removed, that way players won’t complain why 1 server gets to fight 2xT2 more than twice.

That game, developed by a small korean developer, was meant to played in a certain way, but due to a bug/glitch, people played it completely different. in the end, the developer embraced this new playstyle and promised never to fix it and make it part of the game, which resulted in the game to be really successful. THAT is how you run a game.

Perfect Perfect Example: Guild Wars 1

Guild Wars 1 : Prophecies was structured in a way whereby you started in a beautiful zone called the Pre-Searing, it was sort of an extended tutorial zone. After you chose to advance the storyline, the world changed for the worse.

Many players chose to create a character and remain in the Pre-Searing mode, eventually attaining level 20 in that tutorial zone. ANet rewarded those players by adding a title and then later on making it easier to hit the level cap.

Most of the guys who made that decision are no longer with the company.

It’s good to hear that there is Oceanic moving to SBI, then we can have a fair fight when we rematch again.

Excluding BG and SoR, all the servers are made up of a majority of PVX guilds. These people do not have the best armor sets, trait setups, some are even upleveled.

Stackgate is made out of players who were paid to transfer. Don’t try to compare yourselves to anyone in this thread.

And what do you think we have been doing for the past few weeks? SOS has been matched up against every server in the top 2 tiers, and have proven time and time again that skill is not important when there is 3x as many players on the opposite side.

It is insulting that a Developer would insinuate such nonsense. I can’t imagine someone would want to play an sPVP match where they are the only person on their side against a full team.

Why EB always try to take the high moral ground and claim that their open world fights the best? If you want even fights go to sPVP, dont ask for even fights in WvW, that’s udderly hilarious even from an udderful cow’s perspective.

does anyone actually care about ranking points now with the random matchups, just kill and be killed, and cherish the fights.

My guild has maxed out on Merits and we are stumped on how to spend it.

It would be rather nice if we could spend a number of Merits to change the commander icon to our Guild Emblem instead of the blue dorito. Even if it cost 250 Merits it would be fine, just give us a reason to spend it on something significant rather than a Heroes Banner that everyone has.

Are you sure you’re in the mission?

You start outside the temple, run inside, go to each platform and finally enter a side chamber to fight the prince. There’s no way you get to fight the Priestess Lyssa.

As an HoD perspective i’d just like to fight the servers who claim to have the best roamers/small mans. Idc about rank/ppt/etc. just bring some individual skill and we can duke it out.

That would be Ehmry Bay , in every matchup thread they have they will forum-warrior about how great their roaming is and thrash bigger servers about their open field tactics.

7x 80s, the last one is a Thief. Personal Story completed on all 7 except for the Arah story (I’ve done it twice, slowly waiting for guildies to finish theirs so we can do guild runs).

I actually have enough to buy a Legendary but I would rather spend it on my car. At least those shiny rims are tangible.

Obviously one of them will get nominated for the Togo peace prize and we can have a ball. Change!

The one I hate the most is the Ogre rat wrangler, we kept on having the teleport bug.

I really wish we could use Merits to buy WvW upgrades. Our guild goes through 10-20 Guild Golems every week (50 supply, takes 4 players to build it, great for ninja-ing Garrisons)

If there was more than 1 guild doing it at the same time, then 1 guild member needs to stay behind until the event ends, then claim credit for your guild. By doing so, you can get multiple guilds to share a Rush.

My guild managed to do this within the first 15 minutes, after that the Queen popped and the whole Rush went to hell. I think it’s incredibly hard to do it with multiple event spawns and should really have a better path for it.

I agree, we had Karka rush sunday. Eventually we were able to get everyone in but it took us almost the whole 30 minutes.

Why was it so hard to get people to join your party, right click on profile and “Join in southsun cove”, then leave party? Might need to work on guild organisation first.
