really though any T1 server or the one you are on will work if you WvW often. otherwise just keep an eye on that site and watch for one that looks like its turning all one color often.

with a solo character:
20 dailies + monthly = amulet
20 dailies fotm = 2 rings
4 weeks guild missions = accessory
1850 fractal relics = backpack
1 month can be 5/6 ascended, 2 months tops for 6/6
Remove AOE cap, lower damage coefficient by 1/2 or 1/4 and add a control effect (daze, stun, knockdown) to powerful skills.
Please don’t Smiter’s Boon Mesmer portals. 90 seconds is long enough a cooldown.
If they were ever dead set on reseting the tiers then reset them every couple of tiers:
Tier 1+2 jumble
tier 3+4 jumble
tier 5+6 jumble
tier 7+8 jumbleOr just bring down NSP and HoD to tier 8 so i can fight them again…they were fun. Had solo roamers, small group roaming, the zergs werent all that big, was nice.
I like this idea. Maybe they could do 1 week a month that is “Jumble Week” where the tiers you have laid out there get randomly placed. You could even make it not affect the ratings, or have a 50% of normal affect on the ratings. Just mix it up some, it’s not a bad idea really!

I think you overestimate JQ and underestimate servers getting a chance to fight the top dog. Yea I can see JQ winning 90% of the time, but I still don’t think it would be an absolute monkey stomp if you kept it to t1-2.
How many servers can boast 24/7 coverage ?
Why people complain about chests, I always loot supply with them. Maybe you having max supply when you loot them?
Would prefer if we could stealth treb, that makes things much more tactical and not zerg blobby like it is now.

The current equivalency, according to the Siege Master merchants, is 1 badge = 1 silver. So a Commander’s Compendium would cost 10,000 badges or 100 gold.

When you rise to T6 and leave those servers behind in dust?
We need a Jade Quarry or Fort Aspenwood. I wish ANet could have done the Flame and Frost story a little better, make it so that the Norn and the Charr had a little quibble and then introduce a competitive mission based on that. I don’t even care if they make it so that you grind faction for an armor set, the same as you do in WvW (with badges and gold).
I suggest rotating the match-ups within the top 1-3 tiers, 4-6 tiers, etc. Playing the same two servers every week gets a little repetitive. Even if a tier 2 server gets smashed by JQ the glicko rating won’t be affected that much and I can guarantee there will be a lot more active WvWers in all the tiers knowing that they get to match up against a variety of new guilds/servers. I think it will spark a lot more interest not knowing exactly who you will be matched up against every single week.
What fun would it be to have to face JQ on week 1, BG on week 2 then SOR on week 3?

Mark , then zerg rush him/her through about 30+ enemies while you kill it.
Repeat indefinitely.
This is incredibly fun if it’s a commander.
I just wish we were credited Badges directly to our account, and bags were just for loot like coin and items, Then I wouldn’t pick them up anymore.

That is a recent occurence. A group of 10+ was roaming when they ran into another group of 10+. 1-2 players rushed in, the rest ran away.
What happened was that the enemy group had 5 pets out and a Fostivoo, which made the pat seem much bigger than it actually was.
After that, everyone brought out their Fostivoo because it could destroy zergs.
She’s bugged on Sea of Sorrows.
Some servers have guild truces with other servers such as Dragonbrand and Yak’s Bend.

Give it a week. Maguuma will move up, SOS will move down, and we can have a much more balanced Tier 4.
Although if you are looking for badges via jumping puzzles, you’re doing it wrong. Following a zerg is much faster, up to 50-100 badges an hour.
Adding more depth to this game is never a bad thing. Adding unlimited AE or forcing 2 rulesets (1 for PvE and 1 for PvP) isn’t a solution.
I beg to differ; GW1 had split rulesets for PVE and PVP so you could have PVE only imba skills while maintaining balance in PVP. Forcing 2 rulesets is a good solution that has been implemented in their previous game.
You would have a lot of map chat over where the action is.
Right now you have 1 map chat where 1 person is commanding, while groups of 4-10 players can run around and cap stuff , safe in the knowledge that most of the action is concentrated around the blob which is following the commander.
I thought warbanner only worked on downed, not dead, things.
NPC “death” is equivalent to PC downed (for NPCs who retain a corpse that can be revived). This is also why the rez speeds are similar, if not identical.
This is not true for stuff like Elixir R and Signet of Undeath.
Pity GW1 didn’t have RvR, with 100 classes it would have been a really good meta.

Lower the damage coefficients for AOE skills in WvW but give them control elements, like Daze, Knockdown … For instance, Ele Staff Meteor Shower could give 50% chance to Knockdown on hit, but damage is reduced by around 50% – this means that AOE is used more as a control element to funnel rather than a big damage skill to wipe.
In doing so you don’t give an AOE heavy squad the means to wipe a zerg, but you give them control tools to keep a blob in place while your ground crew moves in to mop up.
AOE cap is there for a reason. With my elemental I can spam an area for a minute with hits ranging from 800 to 3K damage. With no AOE cap I could decimate a whole a zerg by myself, and no player should have that kind of power. Ever.
ANet can reduce the damage coefficient by splitting a skill into PVE/WvW , so you could hit multiple targets but deal much less damage.

Commanders should be allowed to place mobile waypoints with the cost of 100 supply.
Where is this 10 man DB zerg you speak of? I’ve never seen a DB blob of less than 40 man during Oceanic/SEA time. And they still fail at taking keeps.

I think he’s talking about the badge-only gear, which is now limited to level 70 max. The ones that cost gold+badges are the level 80 ones.

The prices seem extremely expensive. Im pretty sure I could get equivalent gear off the trading post for less gold and no badges…
that’s not the complaint here, the complaint is that you should be able to buy those gear with badges alone instead of having to grind some gold to buy them.

I do, I hate the ones that don’t show my extra 2 toes. I mean, how do Asura hide those toes in them? The Cultural T1 needs to show the extra 2 toes, I’ve been complaining for awhile and they still haven’t changed it.
The problem with fixed stats on gear is it makes respeccing very high cost. You need to obtain a specific set of gear for your build.
Day 1:
Do Jormag with Guardian. Get rare chest and Jormag chest.
Do Jormag with Mesmer. Get Jormag chest only.
Do Shatterer with Guardian. Get rare chest and Shatterer chest.
Do Shatterer with Mesmer. Get Shatterer chest only.
Day 2 to Day n:
Do Jormag with Guardian. Get rare chest and Jormag chest.

You should get around 15+ guaranteed rares a day by hopping across all the different events. As opposed to the current system where I successfully farmed 100+ rares today by playing all my alts.

I think this might just make the whole thing worse. Now we’re going to have zergs that hunt people instead of towers and it’s basically just going to be a big gang kitten to get more points.
I don’t really have any ideas for solutions atm, but I imagine someone out there probably does.
What’s wrong with this? Not everyone plays WvW to flip keeps and towers.
All I wish is that players who did enjoy playing with the markets would just play the real stock markets and make a fortune, and leave the in-game markets alone so that the economy would work for the players and not the market-players, or the ANet would step in and prevent them from distorting the markets like that.
How much capital (in millions) would you need to successfully do that? We’re talking about large gains over a short period of time, most of these traders aren’t going to be satisfied with long term investments when they can get an ego trip by clicking a few buttons in a game.

A minor distribution breakdown.
If I’m reading this correctly, the bumps along the x-axis are actual sellers.
This means the top seller sold 350 Ectos, followed by a 2nd seller with 300 ectos.
The bump at 250 ectos is higher, meaning there’s more than 1 unique seller who pushed 250 ectos during a given day.
It would be better if you could shorten the Y axis to around 10-50 max and apply a low pass filter to remove all the data points before 100 ectos. (A single day of farming can nett you around 50 ectos, so 100 ectos should be where sellers start to play the market)
It does look like there are around 50-100 players in the >100 ecto market. Which is quite healthy.
The strongest tanky non-heavy armor is the necromancer. Either run Dagger or Axe , drop Wells and tank through the damage. With Death Shroud and Life Siphon skills you can solo champions very easily.
Personally I find it very difficulty to run past all the mobs on all of the plateaus when they keep stunning, crippling and knocking me over. I usually die about 50% of the time as I try to save the silver on using the way point.
