usually people take accuracy/force on their offhand because those sigils don’t have any cooldowns to share with other sigils. with such high crit you get from full berserker gear already, it would probably be more useful to get something like blood for extra survivability/damage or fire for extra aoe damage over the 5% crit chance. if you run pistol + pistol/shield you could have something like strength in one hand and accuracy in the other.
if you want to take it further with the bloodlust sigil you can use it until you reach 25 stacks, then swap out that weapon for another with a different sigil. bloodlust/corruption become quite useless at 25 stacks.
when i was FT build, i went knights chest, legs, and headgear, and then went berserker boots, gloves, shoulders. then i used knights trinkets with berserker jewels. the result was ~2500 armor with the juggernaut trait and a lot of vitality through the alchemy line. (around 19k hp if i remember correctly.) that’s plenty survivability in any pve situation.
- can put 10 in tools into explosives for the burning trait. i just happen to like swiftness on demand and hope there’s an ele or guardian in the party to provide extra burning.
- you can also swap formula 409 for deadly mixture and elixir s for elixir c. personally i’ll trade the damage for both the access to invulnerability/stun breaker and condi removal but it’s up to you. or if you have nice friends, you could take dealy mixtures and elixir s and rely on teammates to cure conditions.
- sigil of strength isn’t needed. i could maintain 20-25 stacks without it and you definitely won’t need it with any warriors in the party. you could opt for blood or fire instead.
some of the builds that i’ve tried with success. i don’t like pistol/shield because that’s a condition weapon. with 30 in firearms you can also trait for pure rifle damage for fights where you need to stay at range or underwater

i’ve run a fire staff 30/30/0/0/10 build before in fotm 30+. i don’t run it anymore not because it’s as terrible as everyone says (it was actually quite good), but because i found it extremely boring sitting at 1200 range mashing 1, 2 and 3. i also find these elitist nerds hilarious. some of these comparisons they’re making….lol

that picture is great but only 99% accurate! i’m an asura not bicepslady. and of course i hold no ill will towards dragonbrand even if they outnumber us heavily and ignore the rules of engagement. but let’s face it had they lined up and faced me with even numbers as per the standard of warfare, i would’ve omgwiped the floor with them and then proceeded to win wvwvw and then i would’ve posted a screenshot in this thread confirming my elite skills at the game.

while trying to get 100% map completion i was killed by like 10-50 dragonbrand invaders. i couldn’t really tell it was just a sea of red when i held down ctrl. now they ignored the standard rules of warfare which have been used since the dawn of human civilization which was to stand in line and only attack me one at a time so clearly compared to me they are inferior. also dragonbrand clearly outnumbers kaineng because i was only one person and they were somewhere between 10 and 50.

so i have a question. i have a friend who just bought the game but is unable to roll on blackgate with me because it’s full. now i want to play with him so i figure i’ll transfer to another server, but the 7 day restriction is still in place meaning i won’t be able to transfer back to blackgate before the 28th when the patch comes. will you guys remove the 7 day limit before the 28th so we can transfer back to our home server or do my friend and i just have to wait and hope someone transfers off blackgate?
if spectral grasp has the force to pull a giant 600 pound norn 1200 range, and spectral armor can reduce a huge hammer blow to the skull by 33% then clearly a necromancer’s spectral force channeled into a large wall should be able to stop a wimpy arrow midflight, especially since guardians and thieves can create walls made out of obviously weaker elements and block or even reflect projectiles. smoke? light? come on now. fix this bug anet pretty please.

combined with 2x hoelbrak, 2x fire, 2x strength runes i have 10 stacks of might permanently with flamethrower out. i can reach 25 stacks without any help by spamming elixirs. i’m using a mix of soldier and berserker armor with berserker weapons and accessories. sigil of blood and omnomberry pie makes me extremely tanky.

easy 20 stacks of might on you constantly without sigil of strength. super tanky and all the other goodness that elixirs provide for the team and yourself. only issue is you have to hope elixir u doesn’t drain all your endurance at an inopportune moment.
i dabble in music and i’m not very good or that interested in theory, but those two songs sound like a standard d minor. can’t even play those songs on the bell.
anyone spamming a note with the choir bell should receive the snowball debuff. that would be entertaining.
which doesn’t make sense because there are no sharps or flats on the bar while a D major scale has a C and an F sharp. so with that said, the only songs you can play would have to be in the key of C. i could play many more songs on it without having to pause, go down an octave, hit the C, then go back up an octave if all the notes were a whole step lower. just sayin
also give us the ability to throw tomatoes at people who spam a note in LA.
sorry i’m not seeing it. with my build i have 4 condition removals (2 aoe ones for my team), permanent swiftness and vigor, access to all 4 damaging conditions, the ability to stack and maintain 20-25 vulnerability single-handedly (10-15 on bosses), huge aoe, multiple combo fields, the list goes on and on. also i just like the kitten class. what is the issue again? that you think we should be able to do all these things AND have the same raw damage output as a thief? give me a break. go cry somewhere else.
to the guy having issues leveling, go double pistols and bombs. with 2 aoe immobilize/cripple and a lingering aoe blind, you couldn’t die even if you tried. malign > ravaging > rampager > rabid gear. grenades over bombs at 60 with the trait. get speedy kits as fast as you can.
i should also mention engi is the best underwater class by a huge margin.
