I don’t agree with removing the rally feature from pvp. However I do think 1 death should only rally 1 person in pvp.

How pessimist lol, burning is one of the strongest conditions, have acess to 4s (+ condi duration) on a 10s cool down seems pretty strong, specially since its on the tree related to condi duration, couple of bleeds, poison, burning + FEAR and it’ll be gg for most people.
maybe just for trolls, but power wells with almost 100% crit chance would see pretty strong to me on node fights. but yea… sniper necro would be nice! 4k Life Blast that pierce? free Lich Form :p ( but yea.. u have no ninja it from far and not be attacked, like a sniper)

Why is the burning trait a grand master trait in the power tree? Why didn’t they just add it to the scepter grandmaster trait . Condis from scepter 33% longer and a chance on crit to add burn. Or at least put it in the 10 points of spite tree like engineers .. Now I have to invest 30 points into spite to get a condition from the power tree lolz

I disagree entirely, premades vs. pugs is a huge issue. Premades already have an advantage of being coordinated, and more than likely in some time of voice chat. If this isn’t a huge advantage against a group of randoms with no communication, then you really need to play more tPVP in the solo que so you understand the frustration of solo que players. I just got out of a match where I got double whammied, not only with players significantly lower than me, I am 31, there was a 4, 9, and 11, but we also went against a full guild premade and got smashed 500 to 70.
Once again you are bringing players rank into the equation lol and you don’t know how many times I’ve solo Qued. I’m rank 45 and even sometimes play wrong bow warrior an win against full pre mades because I got good players on my team we didn’t even have a bunker most of the time… Maybe in the beginning of the matches we were losing but then we worked a strat mid game and made a great comeback
Then I joined these players on voice chat and we lost one a game to pugs I know cuz I asked the guy… So I don’t know why you guys are so kitten about pre vs pugs really no difference … It’s the rank factor that ruins pugs when u get stuck with a rank 1 who doesn’t even no how to read team chat when you are yelling at them lol

I think for the past several matches I’ve been grouped with pugs with single digit ranks vs a premade of 25-40. While I’m rank 36.
Anet has failed in applying the basic mechanics of matchmaking and keeping pugs and premades isolated from one another.
If it was like GW1, where if a pug got 10 consecutive wins they were taken to fight against premades but I’d be ok. But you get players of random skill levels grouped against players who have the advantage of voice coordination.
Ok you are comparing apples to oranges pugs vs pre made is not an issue.. The issue is getting paired with low ranking people who shouldn’t be allowed to tourney until double digit rank IMO

Trap rangers are not that good… An engy with nade kit is way better trap rangers have to focus 30 points in a tree that gives no condition damage and has nothing to do with traps.. Also you have to give up 3 utility slots for the traps as where an engy has 5 different nades in one utility slot that can be spammed a lot more and deal massive damage and putting 30 points in that engy tree gives condition duration and power both useful to nades unlike the ranger skirmish tree
Blade trail totally needs to pull your target to you when it come back I mean the soldier mobs in foe fire do it why can’t the GS have a pull?
Still think we should have 3 weapon sets f2-f4 sorta like ele attunement a wouldn’t be hard to implement and would give more complexity to the class.. And we are warriors master of arms

OK. It’s not that I don’t believe the thieves here, but I’m trying to understand why I consistently see thieves come out of stealth at full health while I’m still stuck in combat. It doesn’t even seem to have much of a cooldown attached to it. Maybe it’s because one of their self-heals has a 15-second cooldown and thieves have a low health pool. Is that why it seems like they can heal up so quickly?
I just don’t know how to counter this in a one-on-one situation. It seems pretty close to impossible for me to win. I, ironically, get attritioned down.
Here let me explain .. So thieves have trait that regens HP while in stealth. Thieves have plenty of different ways to go into stealth thus giving them more sustain then any other class if played right put that with high burst and its unbeatable. Perfect example thief is at half HP and so are you thief uses heal you use heal both at half again due to combat damage then thief uses blinding powder thief has regen some HP then thief can use shadow refuge which gives a long stealth then also heals as a skill alone.. Also DP thieves can just hop around a circle regen more health by this time thief has 30 second cd heal up again bam rinse and repeat broken kitten .. Who ever thought out stealth and heal together was insane
Vs my ele I got back stabbed 8 times! And not one landed my back but yet I still couldn’t out heal the DPS .. Ugh so broken
I have to agree healing while stealthier is completely broken and needs nerf a GOOD thief in a 1v1 with this trait is unbeatable maybe they can’t beat you but you sure as hell can’t beat them

Well I can say I’ve done this before as well but a good thief will kill you even at full HP no problem and be untouched .. I’ve watched your videos before and have seen you get slaughtered by a thief that focused you for all of 10 seconds in a 1v1 I find trouble using the longbow GS vs a thief .. No matter how skilled you are at warrior a good DP thief will just dominate you
I don’t think warriors are hard to play at all, their class mechanic is extremely straight forward. They have some of the highest damage potential however that comes without much sustain. In hotjoin’s most seem to run zerk warriors which is ridiculous as they are basically free kills (this doesn’t translate them into a class that is hard to play, just silly decisions build wise). Many tpvp warriors who run more on the defensive side are actually quite competent, more so in team situations with access to cc skills.
But yes, necro has the highest skillcap and a great necro can kitten most.
Umm warrior is extremely hard to play because EVERY class counters you as a warrior. People run serker because warriors do not have any sustain. Also chill and cripple hurts the warrior more then any other class. You may say its straight forward but it takes a lot of skill playing serker warrior. Knowing when to pull in and out of combat. Preventing people from rezzing. I win most 1v1s unless its a tanky ranger or a really good thief. It just takes skill. Also this tanker CC warrior you speak of is decent at that in tpvp (a bunker guard is just better) but that warrior spec takes no skill compared to serker
Downed state is awesome in pvp only thing they need to change is 1 death needs to = 1 rally

Berserkers might grandmaster trait in first tree is not normally looked at but it is so good. What you do is with signet mastery you can pop your elite every 48 seconds with Lyssa runes you can get all boons which increases your damage for 2% per boon on you with the empowers trait in tactics tree the 5 second stability and also removing your conditions will give the perfect time to frenzy – quick bull charge – hundred blades for max damage considering you have 50% critical damage (60% with axe trait)with serker amulet. Also you will have full adrenaline which will give u a perfect time to shield bash (interrupt heal) eviscerate for 10k boom target is dead .. I personally don’t like the traits in arms and giving up the power and or crit damage in strength and last tree is not worth it IMO also Lyssa gives precision that you are missing from arms tree it’s a great build.
I’ve dueled really good players after tourneys cuz they were talking smack and have beaten rank 46 champion magus Eles .. Theives guardians mesmers and anything u can think of its all about timing and if you mess up guess what rush whirlwind attack and BTFO only thing that can catch u is a thief which will chase u and u eviscerate them insta down.. Haha makes me laugh when a thief chases me only to get evis to the dome .. Thieves love my warrior heartseeker which hits for 10k hahaha enjoy man cuz I know I do
What ticks me off is how they can obtain a 40% cd reduction with pistol trait and 5 points in last tree to reduce clone cool down. This makes it where by time u deal enough DPS to kill one phantasm the Mesmer is alrdy summoning another… It’s out right dumb.. I’ve suggested this before and have gotten so much hate from mesmers… Look at ranger spirits when they are summoned the cool down does not start until they are dead . Well I would say a duelist is better then any ranger spirit does way more damage and guess what of it dies ok ill make another cuz the cool down already ha started. Same with turrets. Phantasm cool down should not start until the phantasm is dead so they could only have 1 serker 1 duelist and possibly a defender . This is the best way to fix the problem

One thing that really bothers me is how in the kitten does an AOE skill miss due to blind? It makes no freaking sense something like fear me! Which is a shout what I’m blind and mute as well? Lol so dumb another perfect example is guardian number 2 while downed which is an AOE knock back bubble… How on earth does blind prevent that from hitting someone? Complete nonsense

warriors are fairly competitive 1v1 if you know what you are facing.. fighting a thief? well u can be bunker hammer, shield/axe with retaliation, or you can be glass rifle, shield/axe.. you can choose control, or you can choose glass with immunes and burst, facing a d/d ele, well u need sword/warhorn and greatsword and condition removals, to keep up with his mobility and remove his annoying conditions, fighting a mesmer? now conditions are king, you can spec and gear for higher cond damage/duration and use longbow and sword/X to wear him down slowly dispite his constant blinking and invis, this goes on and on for every other class, a warrior CAN spec to be effective against all of them.
the issue here is that while yes warriors can be effective 1v1, they cant be multiple specs simultaniously and they need to be in order to compete. compare that to a thief. a vast majority of thieves are either d/d or d/p main hand and shortbow offhand.. very little flexibility in their weapon sets, and very little true variance in their playstyles, (get stealthed-backstab, repeat) same goes for elementalist. a d/d has all the tools they need to compete just with those two weapons.. dps/mobility in fire and air,, heals/support in water. control in earth. A warrior meanwhile has control weapons, (mace/shield/hammer,) mobility weapons, (GS/sword/warhorn,) range weapons, (Rifle,longbow) and condition weapons, sword/longbow. and the warrior NEEDs varying combinations of those weapon sets in order to be effective against other classes who simply put, dont have or need all that bloat.

I must agree with OP axe off* hand is complete garbage. The number 4 has little range and gives u fury for little time(why would I give up a leap finisher stun for this?) the number 5 is a whirl finisher cool! That’s about it cuz the actual spin does about the same damage as a cleave auto attack on axe and with out stability it’s pretty useless. The skill should be the same as thief as in duration, reflect and damage. Mace is even a better choice a line knockdown for 2 seconds although the mace number 4 is trash.
I definitely think my build is the best axe shield GS build… Could just be my play style I like all melee and I don’t have a hard time with most classes when it gets to 8v8 aoe I gotta peel off a lot , but that’s what makes a good player leaving combat when you know you need to

Bulls charge frenzy balanced stance
With Lyssa runes every 48 seconds you can remove all condis and all those boons increase dmg 2% per boon also the stability and aegis give u the time to hit your target with a frenzy bulls charge hundred blades switch axe shield bash eviscerate back to GS rush whirl – most glass will be dead before your frenzy even ends so stability stomp then BTFO if there’s more then 1 enemy on you
Also strongly suggest frenzy then bulls charge so the charge is super quick

I’ve played ranger, thief, warrior, and ele. I had most success with the thief but that was at launch and haven’t had any real success with any of the other classes. I’m most interested in the warrior but can’t handle anyone 1v1.
Warrior is a very skilled class to play you can kill someone within 6 seconds .. It takes a lot of skill to play but you just need a good build to start off with
Message me in game I can give you some tips to help you play warrior.. All The time people watch me in game and message me . I like your play style your a beast etc.

If the ranger has lightning reflexes you have no chance, I use axe shield GS and I must say I don’t have quite a problem with rangers unless they have lightning reflexes a dog pet can be annoying as we’ll cripple and knockdown just isn’t that chill … I wish balanced stance gave me stability and immunity to cripple and/or chill if I don’t kill the ranger within 10 second I use GS number 5 and BTFO he can’t catch up to me. Gotta do what u gotta do
How about remove the downed state when your underwater you just die this would be in PVP only including WVW.. You would still have it in PVE such ad honor of the waves.. Yea I like this idea way better

I’ve tried it before it is not as effective as BM a dead ranger is NO DPS so going BM is just more effective and serker your dmg just isn’t THAT much better . Sorry to tell you

Lol what are you smoking SD ele is so freaking good so much burst damage AND has range compared to DD so your not always getting aoed … And staff is made for wvw zerging get it right … On that note warrior needs some more love tho burst dmg attribute in last tree is Garbo needs rework … Warrior heals are Garbo chill and cripple really only effects warrior the worst cuz all there gap closers get ruined .. They need to make that trait that removes immobilize remove all the other crap as well

Your using a clerics amulet? You don’t apply any pressure lol I’m not a bunker I deal mad damage aoe and single target close range and long range AND I support my TEAM with protection regen heals a lot of might an swiftness
You are to focused on 1v1 . Sure you give the same boons to your team but the difference between me and you is I kill and you get killed

I run 0 15 0 25 30 with 2 strength runes for might duration in the middle of a point yet I can take serious damage but this is where scepter shines I can water form heal back off the point attack at range rinse and repeat when water attune meant is off cd .. Oh yea this is with a valk amulet with serker jewel .. It just takes serious timing and skill to play
