Some times if no one is targeted or the target is too far away it will throw at silly angles. i have it happen all the time. the pathing on it is kitten lol

The Idea behind this build is after the RTL and healing in Mist Nerf along with cuts in burning damage we need to be able to last a little longer to get the job done. So far i have been able to withstand almost any punishment given with this build aswell as doing pretty awesome damage!

and the endurance buffs from weapon and traits allow me to dodge 3 times, recharge fast and dodge 3 more. anyhow…thoughts please!

Well,I can tell you. I spend almost all my time on my Ele min maxing Ect and a build ive done is amazing

0-20-20-10-20. It gives me bolt to the heart and air cool down. In earth I have the earth shield and earth cool down.in water I have cant rips give regen and vigor.and in arcana I have the buff on attunement and the arcane shield.

My 7-8-9 are mist-arcane shield-teleport. And my armor is zerker w beryl gems and my trinkets are exotic cav with beryl jewels.

This build gives me a plethora of things . Buffed…1800toughness,3200 attack,15khp,38% crit plus fury is always up so that 58% and 110% crit damage.

This build is amazing for wvw and I’ve never seen anyone else with it. I have a ton of survivability .i hit hard and with all my toughness when I do get hit its not for much.

Y’all let me know what you think of this build….I’m S/D by the way.

whats the cooldown on getting them to proc again?

Salutations folks, a simple question. Do the " on wep swap" sigils work for eles? I was told that when you change attunements they Proc. Does anyone have a 100% answer for me?

What an evening! Some great battles out there for the two towers that straddle the bridge in SF BL. Im pretty sure im going to spec out of Signets and into Arrow Cart…because that AC is awesomesauce with a couple points into it!

Also. wanted to throw a Big Shout out to Mr. & Misses Swindler for letting me tag along a bit last night. Ive never seen players be able to last so long standing in the middle of a zerg. It made me feel like an Asura Don Johnson! All up in the action!…without the white leisure suit and all…

Yeah, Im still in love with this match up. and with Isle taking a dose of Dub V Dub Viagra its truly a 3 way fight…

in regards to SF and their fair weathers jumping ship. we have had that here on DH numerous time since ive been playing. (about 3 months) the second the opposing team plays a proverbial game of Smear the kitten , all the pve’rs and Vista Hunters sphincters slam shut and they bail. Leaving the folks that are keepin it real to carry the weight…which causes burnout and a serious issue of " Eff It" So I along with everyone on Darkhaven feels your pain. But if i can ask for one little thing.

Lets not go the “I dont care about the points” Route ..Its a lil too Devona for my liking

yeah, Zel. I agree with you. the PvE end game Pooped the sheets, the meta game is garbage, itemization and customization is bleh at best. and the wvw is middle of the road.

I find that friends and the wvw ranking are the only thing keeping me around.

well….that and my signet warrior…lol

Well. from what the folks at Anet have said its starting off as a rank and passive ability system. but in the near future there are going to be WvW only Abilities and trait lines for wvw…which will really make things fancy.

Some awesome battles tonight. Im quite proud of Darkhaven in our organization and deployment of fields and finishers. a couple times tonight we ran in to take a tower and the tower boss was surrounded by a ton of SF and we were able to make it work.

Also whats the scoop with that “asura theify” toon? I get this funny feeling that its my best friend coming to say Howdy…i could be wrong though!

Well,the dark haven reset was better thanks to myro,fallyse and some other key players in conjunction with the wide use of team speak . But was still only 40% of what I think we are capable of.

One thing I’m seeing from sorrows furnace is what happened when we faced bp and ar….we were on a high from winning for weeks then got our teeth kicked in a couple weeks and all of our fair weather players bailed.

I just hope they can pull it together because I really enjoy this matchup.

good morning folks! i had to rub my eyes this morning when i logged on and diddnt see a 17k deficit.

Hats off to my beloved Darkhaven! its amazing what can be done with Myro on the mic and guilds actually on the server!

Had some fun fights with [king] lastnight , good times to be had by everyone!

As a side note…grim came over the hill to see a Spartacus moment from Swinder taking on 5 people …..fun stuff!

Anyhow, lets see what Saturday holds for this great match up!

Its nice to see some warm hearts before reset. A lil joking always makes whats to come in the next 30 min a lil easier to deal with….These SF resets are insane….The amount of people that can be fielded out of nowhere is amazing to see, its like dropping a crack rock in an unemployment line and watching what ensues…

My time so far in the game i would have to say that SF has the best resets weve gone against…But what would i know….Im always off, rearranging my signets and stuff 8P

as a side note, im doing some testing on my new tele-churn cav build. So for anyone that sees my lil teal hair GRIM asura…jump on me hard tonight. i wanna see if i can take it.

Yeah this rating system is really lame. It makes you wonder whos idea it was to use it. and for the love of god…who signed off on it!? there has to be much better ranking systems out there then one made for single player chess….

Well before the patch I ran 10-0-20-10-30 and I loved it I an mist form,arcane shield and teleport.

But after the patch something seemed to be off, I usually run in a 5 to 10man skirmish group and in our fist engagement I died 6 times…

Right now with my 0-0-20-20-30 and arcane power,arcane shield,teleport. And the cavalier trinkets with beryl jewels I seem to be way more durable and as long as I use my fury on attunement correctly I almost don’t feel the need to have arcane power slotted.

If I do decide to keep it slotted I am going to switch all my jewels in my armor to beryl.

Which should give me 18k Hp along with the 1750 toughness and my damage still being amazing.

I think I’m really close to having something great here.

I saw someone mention a fight club, we haven’t had one this week have we? I’d like to try out my post patch revamp on my Ele, I was hoping that someone from king would come kick my butt a few times to test my durability.

By the way I have to say, I was impressed with the noqq guys from DR…but you king folks are the best I’ve seen in small groups…truly amazing. Watching you guys in action gives me something to strive towards in game. /tip of the hat

Salutations folks. After the patch i have been forced to change a few things on my build as it seems ive been going down much quicker.

I am now running a 0/0/20/20/30 build with the built in earth shield / arcane shield traits and the tumble abilities.

I was running full zerker gear before the patch but that was no longer viable. So i switched all my trinkets to Cav. with Beryl Jewels.

I now have 15k hp 1750toughness (buffed) 3100 attack (w/ sigil)

my crit damage buffed is about 100% and my crit chance now that i have changed trinkets is about 30% ( but with my build i always have fury up) so 50% ish.

Lastly, i removed mist form from my skills and put arcane power in.

All i can say is …Wow! this has really made this toon awesome to play. i think i actually like it more then before the patch. I can make it to the end of large engagements again. and the damage i take is no where near what it was before. I do miss not having mist form..but now that i cant heal through it. id rather not have it.

im running S/D on this build and i dont see myself changing any time soon. if anyone is having a hard time with their S/D ele. toss me a pm and ill try to lend you a hand

well, i tend to tele churn in, switch to fire before the churn goes off. cast my fire field then fire grab and with all the stuff on the screen they never see it coming and it tends to hit for about 6k

you know…i have to say that when they first came to our tier i really diddnt like IoJ. I dismissed them as whiny kitten #8230;but upon second glance, i think they do belong here. its like Chumbawumba in this Mofo! They get knocked down, but they get up again…and to kick in SF’s teeth no less!

Furnace needs to stoke the flames..cause they have gone limp on us.

I will say, this is the tier to watch right now.. forget watching the top tiers. Tier 6 is where its at! Sorrow of Dark Isle FTFW!

All this point talk is moot…once Darkhaven pulls their head out of their cheeks on reset nights the rest of the week wont matter because we will have a 40k point lead by monday. and our gents on Week day Bankers Shift will handle the rest.

No one is teaming up on you. its simple math. SF is in second so Darkhaven is attacking you to ensure you dont gain on us….Isle on the other hand is reeling you in like a marlin so is attacking you for your second position.

For darkhaven to attack Isle exclusively would be silly…why do that when we get double points for attacking SF.

I think there might be a smidge of sarcasm due to what we saw last week from [king] although ive been absent for the majority of this week so i could be wrong.

i do think the score is a lil closer because you guys tried to hit us a lil harder at reset when we are at our weakest. so you had a 17k lead ..thank goodness we were able to stay on track and pull a 10k lead by tues morning.

lol..you know your special when servers from the tier above come in to Wipe your Intarweb Tears! Clearly they were planning on the locomotive of doom known as SF to be rolling through tier 5 right about now. But Alas, Tier 6 is where lofty aspirations go to die. Welcome aboard gents.

And its silly to call it Isle of Darkaven….i Much prefer Dark isle. But if thats the case then there must have been some mutiny on the bay on reset night because Isle and SF were working together to knock the bottom out of darkhaven.

Man its a shame that no matter how civil things start off it always goes back to the same things. To see people from SF say " oh we dont care about the points" thats just silly… your amazing comback has been well documented and cheered for by all servers, its been great to see people pull them selves from the porta-john. But now that you have met some resistance your folks immediately go into the “Devona-we dont care about points-mode”

You do care about points, as does every server that has an active wvw base. This match up is being watched by almost everyone that plays gw2 as it is one of the closest battles the game has to offer at this point.

Having said that, lets not sully the awesomeness with cliche statements such as…

1) you only win because you zerg
2) we are better then you, but you out number us.
3) we dont care about points
4) Omg…ZoomHaven! (thanks for that one gab)
5) Onoes…we are being double teamed…and stuff

lol Darkhaven is Out numbered on reset day atleast 4 to 1. The amount of people that SF has is amazing on reset.

guys! We were getting along so well, lets not start bickering ..we will end up catching a serious case of “Devona-ism”

There is no more teaming up from Dh and IoJ then there is from SF and IoJ…it all depends on the situation and what the people think they have to gain from it at any particular point in time.

Right now with what we have going on with darkhaven right now in regards to reset is whats stopping us from really being a powerhouse. Once we get our Resets in order i feel that if all else stays the same we could duke it out with Ebay for top of t5.

But back to reality. Our super weak resets are what makes this match fun and exciting. It seems to be the same tune no matter which guilds do or do not participate in the weeks matching. We get trounced on reset due to no one coming on, then by monday we are able to make up the deficit and take the lead..regardless of the margin.

So for now, lets be thankful that our servers have the lil quirks they do and allow us to enjoy a close battle!

and oh yeah…i was sitting out on wvw for two days …..So everyone better watch out when i come back! /flying Burrito!

well ill tell you what. besides the RTL and Mist healing changes…something else is wrong. Either that or every other classed got buffed. Because my zerker tele churn build was amazing and even with 13k hp i lasted till the end of every wvw engagement.

Now…i get hit twice and i die. and my damage seems…limp

Im surprised to see a member of Abyss saying we usually have strong resets because we havent had one in weeks. it is paramount that Dark Haven resolves that issue pronto, because if we were up a tier we would have never recovered from an early deficit like that.

the one thing i think this weeks match has done is taught people that a zerg ball isnt always the best method. ive seen lots of smaller roving groups and its done wonders for our all around coverage.

Now we just need to teach our guys not to break from a group to chase a guy half way across the zone and we will be ready to rock. lol

Anywho…still an amazing match. cant wait for more!

And for the group of 3-6 of… guys that kept jumping from the spawn to fight us at the camp…great fun!

ive experienced this same thing. my build is the same but i seem to go down like cheap date….something isnt right.

Salutations fellow Eles! After the patch something seems to be “Not Right” with the class. I know they changed mist form healing and rtl range and cool down. but i seem to be going down super easy with my build that , prior to the patch was amazing.
