What Would Bring Me Back To PvP

Long time pvper here and semi pro necromancer player zojoel for team asap zerg. cough 1 win away from pro league cough

I haven’t played the game in months but I still follow the scene and know that a lot of top tier and just plain old loyal players have quit the game. I just wanted to share my idea that may actually bring others and I back and make the game fun again.

The idea: I think it would be cool to have a staking system, where you can wager in game gold or gems and winner takes all whether its small 2v2 arenas or 1v1s or 5v5s whatever. Either this or bring back the automated tournaments that let you win gems!

I haven’t been a follower of the scene but from my understanding there never really were a big scene,were there? Most pvp players were casuals and then there were the few elite pvpers going about their days.

And there wasn’t really a real interested in any ESL leagues,were there?

after reading all of these ideas (and drinkin my late night energy drink ) i have 3 ideas to boost necro pereonal dps and/or improve the utility value too (and yes, 1 of them is connected to op )
1: rending shroud: instead of alpying vuln -> increase the necros direct dmg with 1/2% for every 1% life force u have. it would count for the necro as the target has 50 stack of vuln instead of 25 on full life force bar.
2: dhuum fire: instead of burn aplying -> shroud#1 skill deals bonus dmg equal to X% of ur life force (numerical value). 5% in reaper shroud #1, 10% in death shroud (could crit but necessery)
3: vampiric aura: that kitten dmg and zero to kitten healing -> like thief’s invihorating presence (15% of crit strike dmg to heal) tweaked to 7-10% and to heal not only the necro but 5-10 allies.
toughts about it?

It would be cool if you could specify in which gamemode you’d like it changed. I,who play alot of pvp,would not like it changed this way.

Here’s an example as to why I would not like to see it changed this way in pvp;

Scenario 1)
Enemy guard runs “Strength in Numbers” and gives 150 toughness to all nearby teammates. If a necro would run this new altered trait then they would just effectively cancel each other out. By instead having it as it is right now then you’d not only cancel out the guardians “Strength in Numbers” trait but also add a bit of damage on top of that through the vuln stacks you’re able to apply effectively.

This is true, the change will bring a small nerf in solo and in some pvp situations…
but on the other hand, this effect cannot be removed/converted/transfered so the enemy will not be able to get rid of it, also you need time to archive max strength with the current trait (3 stacks every 3 seconds).

I believe this change would be for the best, without big drawbacks or too many gains.

Sure,if rending shroud is all you rely on for vuln. It’s not the only way. You can get “massive” stacks of vuln up quite fast tbh

So you’re totally fine with the game being won by who snipes the beast? All other maps require fighting over objectives, that is killing each other to score the objective for your team. Forest here is the only exception, with those beasts making you shift focus over to landing the last hit on them. I say I don’t like that mechanic, and I have stolen beasts myself mind you, doesn’t mean I like it.

My opinion stays that it should be changed. The channeling suggestion I made makes it fair for all too. Fight for the objective, those who survive claim it.

Yeah,I am. The beasts can either be a liability or a benefit for your team. There’s still plenty of opportunities for a team to catch up. The game isn’t won by one team if they score both beasts once.

Making the beasts go into downed mode will still incentivize stealing. It doesn’t solve the “problem” at all. The team who steals the enemey beast merely just have to save a boon strip or a CC and secure the stomp.

My idea is simple, change the trait Rending Shroud in order to make it a bit more useful.
Currently the trait is not so bad when you play by yourself, but when you play in a party it becomes almost useless due to the excessive amount of vulnerability that the different professions can inflict (some of them can reach 25 stack just by themselves).

Now… I would like the trait changed to function as the group empowerment traits (Example: Empower Allies):

current Trait:

  Constantly apply vulnerability to nearby foes while in shroud
    3 Vulnerability (10s): 3% Incoming Damage, 3% Incoming Condition Damage
    Number of Targets: 5 
    Interval: 3s 
    Radius: 360

updated Trait:

  Decreases toughness of nearby foes while in shroud
    Decreased Toughness (9s): -150 Toughness
    Number of Targets: 5 
    Interval: 3s 
    Radius: 360

The new version will works exactly as the old one, just the effect will be different.
The new effect will not stack, will just refresh itself.
The effect is not a condition so cannot be removed or converted.

How much -150 toughness do?

- 2000 armor foe (zerk light armor), about 8% extra physical damage;
- 2600 armor foe (Test Golem), about 6% extra physical damage;
- 4000 armor foe, about 4% extra physical damage.

How will this affect the game?

If you do not use this trait there will be no difference from now… in general only power necros have access to it and generally this trait is not very popular.

With the current trait as the only source of vulneraility you are able to inflict and maintain 9+ stacks on nearby foes when in solo but in a party is wasted because foes get 25 stacks of vulnerability in less then 2 seconds…

With this new version of the trait you will get an avereage of 6% extra physical damage in solo, in party you will not lose it and everyone else that do physical damage will also be able to do more damage.

You can see it like to be able to break the limit of 25 stack of vulnerabilty to reach 31 stacks for physical damage.

What do you think?

The only treb change I would like would be reduced damage. The CC alone is painful enough and can be a game changer on point if you’re already in a fight.

the damage is ok and the cc is ok i mean you can literally see the big ball of fire coming at you, its very easy to avoid if you are using your camera well.

In addition to camera,if you’re playing with sound on you can use that as well to prevent getting nuked.

My response to OP:
No. There is no reason to dumb down the game mode. If you know there’s an incoming steal then play smart. Save your CC for the enemy and/or learn how to reliably use a high damage skill to nuke the beast when the HP is low enough..

I am aware of the aggro formula which hasn’t changed on the Wiki (referring mostly to non-raid content).
I just wanted to know if anyone knew which pet has the most toughness/aggroing ability.

In vanilla GW2, I used to take most the aggro being a PS Knights Warr which was fun.

As written in the second post,the aggro system is rather complex in Gw2. It varies ALOT on several factors. So it’s hard to tell…. shrugs

I’ve got a couple of 22 slots and some 18 slots. I guess I could invest in more 22 slot bags,that’d make my gw life a bit easier but I definitely see where you’re coming from.

I think if they think about bringing back Cantha, they should think about making the Tengu a playable race.

No need for Canthat for that. And it wouldn’t even fit anymore. The Tengu city is just outside LA now. They just need to open the doors for us.

This. All they need (or at least would be preferable) is a Tengu tie in somehow with the story. Maybe the tengus city will get attacked by one of the dragons and they come to us for help or w/e.

I think something that usually gets forgotten is the general idea is that when an Elite Spec gets a two-handed weapon, they get an all-new profession mechanic (F1-F4). But if the Elite Spec gets a one-handed weapon, they keep the old profession mechanic and get an extra addition to it.

So if the leaks are true and we are getting a torch offhand, wouldn’t that mean we keep the default shroud and get an additional profession mechanic? That might Anet incentive to rework/buff base shroud a bit more to be in par with other Elite Specs?

Holy kitten! I think you’re on track here. Wow. I did not think about that. And that honestly makes me more hyped for this “Sand Shroud” thing. Maybe it’s a different Shroud available in conjunction with the Death Shroud. An addition,as you say to the core mechanic!

Wow. Now how would that function? When I hear sand I’m thinking bleeds,blinds,protection…you know,the normal Earth attunement stuffs. Projectile denial? Invulnerable?

Oh wow.

Better not get carried away though and end up disappointed because what you so desperately hoped for never even was a thing,haha. But it’s fun speculating!

Based on what I know, a lot of players (including myself) have to use a quarter of our inventory to hold second gear sets, food, currency, etc. Please give us bigger bags

Bigger bags? Nah,how’re they going to market the extra inventory slots then? Case closed…no?

But I see your point. I’m a big fan of experiementing with builds on my necromancer (my main) and I’ve already got all shared inventory slots and all the possible inventory expansions (bought for gems). I still run into the problem of not having “enough” space for events and such. I carry with me 4 different armor sets and a huge array of weapons. Soon to be 5 armor sets. lol. Not even counting food.

But as my first paragraph says,I’m positive that this won’t even be a thing. What will be a thing though is probably more inventory expansions.

Save up for https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Silver-Fed_Salvage-o-Matic when it becomes available again and make good use of the “Deposit All Materials” and compact options. They’re a godsend,really. And if you’re in a very tight spot and can’t for the life of you teleport to for example the Mists and use the merchant there or even a random merchant in PvE or whereever you’re playing then just destroy the sea of green sigils in your inventory. It’s a bit of clicking and dragging but hey,if you can’t WP/TP anywhere…what’re you gonna’ do? :P

Also,if you’re like me and carry around several sets of armors,invest in one of those invisible bags and put your armor in those. It makes Deposit and Compact’ing way more fluent

any tips how to beat warrior 1v1?

My loadout is as follows;
-Gs
-Staff
-Spectral Armor
-Spectral Walk
-“Nothing Can Save You!”
-“Chilled to the Bone!”

With staff (traited) you got unbloackables…right. So I’ve got a fear,condi transfer and chill/poison field. All unblockable.
With Gs you have a blind field which pulses blinds and cripple (and now also corrputs boons!) and a pull.
You got two stun breaks. One of them you can use to juke the warrior. With the shout you can make all your attacks unblockable for a short while and corrupt 2 boons.

This is all I need to kill a meta warrior. Sometimes I don’t even need all of that because once you learn when to dodge their stuns you’re pretty much set for a victory if you play your cards right.

That’s how I deal with meta warriors and basically everyone else. I’m not saying this is the way to play a reaper but this is what works for me and has done so for a long while. I see absolutely no reason to change anything with my build with the success I’ve had so far.

I’ve also checked out the current meta “boon corrupt” reaper build,and (I don’t know if this is applicable in English but…“misunderstand me correct”….sounds weird,I know) if you’re using THAT build against the current meta warrior you will probably die more than you win.

Meta warrior is melee,right. And having 2 ranged weapons vs melee is a disadvantage,especially so with axe not even traited. Staff is traited and that’s cool. I like that. It’s very useful but axe??

Your biggest damage dealing skill on axe is 2 and that’s channeled. But you have a serious problem when you’re facing the meta warrior because he’ll be up in your face,maybe even circling around you. Now try and land a full axe 2 channel vs that while dodging the plethora of stuns the warrior has. It’s not easy,is it?

That’s why I more or less always swear to having 1 melee and 1 ranged option excluding shroud.

This is just my 2 coppers. Take it or leave it (or maybe some of it)

EDIT: As mentioned above,Reaper Shroud 2 is excellent! for kiting warriors/getting out of range from their stuns..etc etc

If we are to believe the fact that Anet likes to foreshadow certain things through their own game then…either we’ll get new summons via the Torch weapon skills or through new utilities/Shroud skills.

I can’t remember which WP video he said it on but he said something along the lines of the White Mantle necromancers in the story mode had Skeleton summons.

Skeleton minions is something we don’t have and maybe the new elite spec will be Summoning focused…making it a great combination for Death Magic. It’s not very likely imo that this will be the case but…you know…you’ll never know.

Hey!

I very recently finished the achievement Festive Imbliber by drinking aaaaaaaaalll of the 10k wintersday drinks! Yay!

However,contrary to the Festive Imbliber,you can’t finish the “Frozen Claw” achievement even though you have started on it…like the Festive Imbliber.
I needed one more Claw of Jormag kill to finish the shoulderpiece but as it turns out,that did not work.

Is this a bug? Or is this achievement,contrary to the Festive Imbliber one,impossible to get outside of Wintersday?

I got super excited when I saw I only needed 1 kill,went and did the event but…meh. I’m super bummed about that haha.

So,bug or not?

The really weird thing is it seems Anet doesn’t care about AFK farmers, and yet many people have recently resorted to using scripts to make them semi-randomly cast a variety of skills so as to appear not AFK. From apparently not bannable offense to blatantly bannable offense and it’s not even remotely convincing that it’s not a bot. Very weird.

Yeah. This guy is….I mean,when you stand in the same spot for several days there’s no question that you’re NOT running a bot. It’s hilarious lol.

And to think that the guy in question is from such a prominent guild as well…I’m disappointed,really.

Well if all he is doing is standing still aa on greatsword 4 and letting minions kill he is not botting.

Afk farming yes botting nope.

Oh kitten. I didn’t know you could enable auto on the other weapon skills other than….well…weapon skill 1.

My bad,afk farming then :O

Hey!

3-4 days ago I was farming karma in Ember Bay at a particular spot. Thing is,when I got there this necromancer guy just stood there. Still. I tried inviting him to party as I thought he might’ve been farming as well and well,why not do it together?

He never declined or accepted so after a while I didn’t bother with it. I declined. And so I farmed…for hours. Still,that guy never moved an inch. He just stood there with his minions and using Greatsword skill 4 whenever it was off cooldown.

Then I thought maybe he’s set up a bot and it has somehow malfunctioned and just bugged,standing there,doing nothing.

This was 3-4 days ago. Today I figured I’d farm some more karma and…lo and behold,that guy still stands there at the exact same spot…still doing his thing,letting the minions aggro and kill any mobs who spawn while using Greatsword 4 once in a while.

I wouldn’t normally be making a forum post for this but…I did report him for botting first time I saw him but he’s still here.

Rendering issues in WvW

Hey!

I’m a bit unsure if this topic belongs in the Tech support sub or in the WvW sub but I’ll take my chances here as I didn’t see any similar topics in the tech supp sub!

So,I went on a small 3 month break from Gw but I’ve come back now. Before I came back I never had any issues with loading/rendering visuals in WvW at all but now I have that problem constantly. The problem is mostly with character visuals,weapons and sometimes even textures such as walls or…anything,really. Where there should be a farm house in the South camp there’s usually nothing and I can see throug it. Like if I were hacking,lol.

But the real problem is characters. I’ll usually go invisible for a couple of minutes after loading screen,which is annoying but it would be ok if it weren’t for the fact that even weapon skills will go invisible. No visuals whatsoever will render. Nothing. I can press weapon skills and I’ll see that they work since they’ll damage mobs or enemy players.

In addition to that there’s the fact that even enemies won’t have their armor,weapon OR skills rendered either. Unless the enemy stays around me for minutes. Which usually is not the case unless there’s dueling.

So all in all,I’m fighting invisible players most of the time in wvw. Weapons and their corresponding weapon skills won’t render either so that’s invisible too.

Does anyone else have this issue? it’s extremely frustrating

Regarding the reaper. There’s true that most players choose reapers now,but you can clearly see the difference between a “flavourofthemonth reaper” and a Necro/reaper who has played since long before HOT ever came.

Flavourofthemonth Reapers tend to draw the short straw in 1v1’s and team fights heh…

Dishonour after winning???

So just now, I won my match, the game ended and suddenly a disconnect happens. When I reconnect I have dishonour..
Would like an explaination if possible please. :l

I think disconnects is considered as leaving because,honestly,I’m not sure if the system can identify between the two. That is,simply logging off or properly losing a connection.

Warriors and team attitude

I’ve been playing my warrior in Ranked pvp for a couple matches,went with a hammer/greatsword setup,couple of physical skills,and two other things.

If you have support behind you you’re golden. Nothing will stop you,you can completely lockdown an opponent. It’s not advised to roll a warrior without a support ele/druid with you though. ’Cuz as people have mentioned,they kind of lack in sustain and support.

I have a friend in-game who are more or less on my skill level,yet,he broke into Legendary yesterday. And he was soloing up until Ruby,from there on he duo’ed his way into Legendary in the blink of an eye. He had near to 0 losses on his way up there. He had winning streaks all the kittening time.

While I,who broke into Ruby a week ago,won like 70% of the matches in Ruby,got to tier 3/4 then lost 3 games in a row. Those 3 games felt like it was a trigger for something because that was when I went down to Tier 1,0 pips.

Same thing happend to a guildie of mine,he was in Tier 5,got a couple of losses and then he kept on losing ALL the matches. He’s now back down in Tier 1,0 pips with me. So we’ve been trying to duo our way through Ruby but the amount of oddly matched players we get is insane.

But,the April balance patch,is that when every class get a kittenload of condi removals? Because at the moment there’s no class at all who can rival the condi output of the enemy team. It’s crazy out there. 2 Dragonhunters and 3 Condi Reapers seem to be a favourite. At least 3 Condi Reapers on average per match.

^That’s another thing kittening up our matches….

"Ruby Hell"

Here’s what I feel is an accurate description of how it is in Ruby now. Having divisions is kind of pointless when you get q’ed up with players who;

A)Only focus on their dailies
B)Play classes they certainly do not know that well (probably for daily)
C)Don’t ress
D)Lack map awareness

I could go on with a few more points but come on,is this the kind of skills a Ruby player SHOULD be lacking? Ruby feels like Amber. Most of the time.

Stats for lvling to 80. Berserker or other?

I’m starting a Necro which is my second character ever and I’m just curious if berserker stats is the way to go to lvl up to 80? I sense that is the general opinion of players. But given that Necro does a lot of condition abilities and survives on leeching, should I be more concerned with condi dmg and +healing power/vitality? Or should I not bother to think about those things until I reach lvl 80?

This is for PVE

IMO you shouldn’t be too concerned with stats from 1-80. But if you generally just follow a berserker path with Dagger/X and X you’ll be good.

From 1-80 it’s whatever floats your boat I guess

Reapers have plenty of stun breaks in utilities, you cen even make entering the shroud form into a stun break.

That trait is in the Soul Reaping line,it has always been there.

We have plenty alright but you’ll have to take into consideration builds as well. Noone I’ve see has ever used all three slots for a stunbreak utility.

I don’t think stunlocking will be a problem for a warrior granted he doens’t blow all his stuns like a madman and wastes them all.

Shroud 2 always did corrupt boons before this patch,didn’kitten :O

Only if you took a trait in curses what a lot of people didn’t since they took spite for the traited signets.

How did this patch allow reapers to take spectral armor more efficiently than before? :O

Well, the need for traited signets in the previous meta was incredibly strong due to its reliable boon corruption. With the addition of the additional boon corruption you are not “forced” to take signets allowing people to take other skills like spctral armor.

In short the necessaity of traited signet prevented people taking other options. With the patch this necessaity is gone allowing these other options some play.

Ahh I see what you meant now. But I still don’t believe we’re THAT much more harder to defeat now. I mean,if you don’t go with Soul Reaping for the boosted RS our shrouds will still be as squishy as before if focused

But yeah,I think I get the point of the OP now.

I just came back and am slowly learning all the new changes, been playing a warrior and I feel the ones that give me the most trouble are necros and druids. I can do damage to them, but once reaper shroud is up it can turn the fight pretty fast.

What would you say is the best way to combat a necro on mesmer/warrior?

I’m sorry but….if you’re struggling with necro/reaper shroud NOW you have been struggling with them before the patch as well.

As far as I know not a single thing was done to RS in terms of nerfing or buffing.

Or have I not read the right patch notes guys?

It’s not that shroud has changed but shroud is the culmination of a lot of skills and traits. The patch removed the reliance on signets and spite, allowing the option of going curses for instance which means shroud #2 corrupts boons now. The patch also allows the reaper to take spectral armor which means much more life force -> a strionger shroud.

Shroud 2 always did corrupt boons before this patch,didn’kitten :O How did this patch allow reapers to take spectral armor more efficiently than before? :O

Why aren't we using more Sigil of Mischief?

I am talking about condi reaper ofcourse.
With Superior Sigil of Mischief and Chilling Darkness

We would have 4 targets chill application at 600 range every 9 seconds.
It’s better than the alternative of Superior Sigil of Hydromancy and Superior Sigil of Ice

The hypothetical question I’ll reply too you with (granted it was available in the Mists) is;
What’s stopping YOU from using it?

If it was available in the Mists I wouldn’t personally use it instead of Hydromancy,because as pointed out above:
-It’s a cone whereas Hydromancy is an AOE,which can hit 5 targets (maybe more? It doesn’t specify)
-It can be reflected (also as noted above),doing more harm than good
-Hydromancy does more damage than Mischief

But then again,paying attention on the enemies’ actions would negate any such reflect/miss. So I don’t know. I’d still take Hydromancy I believe.

I have hit 1.1 mill gravedigger on a rabbit with 22 might stacks. But yeah, hitting that high on a rabbit is meaningless.

No ELITE SPECIALIZATION LORE [Spoilers]

That’s right,

I just finished the main story of HoT and I haven’t come across any lore regarding the elite specs. It’s like ANET slapped them into the game just because they needed to. Only hints “profession-wise” is when we see Rox questioning Rytlock about “His new magic, and where did he get it from.” However throughout the entire story, Rytlock continues to avoid talking about his Revenant magic.

That’s it, oh and the Dynamic event surrounding the Druids in Auric Basin. But that’s all we get… Oh and maybe you can count when Irenio gave us small lore on the Scrapper.

But as far as in game, how your Chr became their new elite, is non existent. This is highly upsetting because in MMOs like FINAL FANTASY 14: ARR, their classes have lore, even with the new ones that come out in that game. But in GW2, we get nothing. Arena Net, as a Role Player Iam forced to make my own stories about how my Sylvari became a druid… But tbh, I’d like more Indepth lore for every elite spec and hopefully the Revenant.

I have a feeling there will be more updates to HoT regarding story, and if so… I hope we get some more lore on the elite specs. Because they are poorly implemented lore wise into the game.

There’s not excactly a definitive,extremely informative lore behind it but we do know how Guardian’s get their Dragonhunter,Necromancers get their Reaper and how Revenants is a thing,though there’s still alot that’s remained unexplained,for example the Revenant.

Since Rytlock mentioned something about “I’ll tell you later” or something along the lines in the story mission “Prisoners of the Dragon”,I am of the belief that Anet will delve into this sooner rather than later through some in game dialogue,cut scene or w/e that’ll explain this.

As for the Dragonhunter and the Reaper;
-Braham somehow gains knowledge/invents a new combat style with his mothers Bow. Though it isn’t shown in the game yet it’s 100% the reason why Dragonhunters exist now. I’m fairly certain of it.
-Marjory gains knowledge from her sister/sister’s katana…maybe she learnt something from the Mists as well by communing with Belinda’s spirit/spirits?

The reason/incentive for them to do,so far,has been the death of loved ones and their hatred for Mordremoth. Shout at me if I’m wrong.

All in all I hope Anet somehow weaves in these elite specs and a more in-depth explanation if it is viable in terms of the lore,otherwise it’ll become much as the lore of Lordran and Drangleic,full of ambiguity and mystery!

So I unlocked the three first abilities in the reaper specialization: Greatsword Proficiency, Shroud Knight/Reaper’s Shroud, and “your soul is mine.” However, with all this, I am still unable to wield my greatsword. Why is that?

This might be a dumb question but,have you changed one of your three trait lines for the Reaper line?….

It’s not an option either, I tried but it’s not on the list.

Have you unlocked everything else?

Well,there’s also a plethora of items left in the GS they’ll make money from. To counter your argument a more accurately;
Transmutation charges. They have that in the reward tracks. And lots of them too.

Unless you’re releasing a one-shot track a week (which I guess is not the plan) why not have a repeatable reward track which may only be completeded X amount of times in a week,which will ofc. include BLC keys in it?

Be happy with the fact that you can atleast can get some blc keys. the drop chance for wvw and pve blc keys is riduciously low. And dont forgot blc keys are one of the few ways for anet to really make money from gem store.

Oh I*m not talking about the Drop rate of BL keys in PVE or WvW. No,I know that one is insanely low.

I’m talking about the personal story ofc. Last I heard Anet did something so that you can only get a BL key from PS once a week. Once a week would be fair for pvpers as well,don’t you think? I mean,considering that they’re now thinking of implementing BL keys into pvp.

I’m not going to write a paragraph about how much I love this and that before I cut to the case. I’m too tired for that anyway so I’ll cut to the case.

Shards of Glory should not replace the transmutation charges. Make them replace the tomes of knowledge instead. Why?

Because when you come to a certain point you won’t have any use for those Tomes anymore,but you’ll have “more use” for Transmutation charges. That’s just my opinion but I’m certain I’m not alone on this.

This build will wreak havoc in melee combat, initiating with staff skills and shroud generation #1. position yourself towards a target, swap into shroud and #3 – #4, #5 if you manage to hit them with the entire load.

Swap to scepter and start your rotations, gain your distance. wait for staff skills to recharge.

go into melee and burst shroud before going to staff.

repeat.

try it.

Not to be that guy buuuut….
Points in a match can not ever reflect a players;
A)Skill
B)Build efficiency
C)Teamplay

Nor do those endgame stats.

EG,I can sit on treb in Khylo the whole match and be on top with points.

Tracking in stealth

So,tracking in stealth.

From a “realistic” standpoint it’s nonsense. How would you track something which you can’t see? But Guild Wars is in no way a realistic game. It’s pretty much high fantasy.

But you can’t deny that the tracking in stealth is kitten. More so with the P/P thieves slowly creeping out from the shadows, unloading on you.

What are your opinions on it? Is this actually intended? Shouldn’t the channeled skills miss completely when you’re in stealth?

It’s funny.

Whenever I go to my fav. class’s forum I see lots of threads with “this class is doomed”, “I quit” or “Why are we always nerfed?”

But then I block them out and go to EVERY other class forum. And you know what? They’re there too.

Makes me feel good because every class think and feels like that towards the other classes.

And more often than not I believe ignorance is spreading like wildfire.

Of course if a thief sits on your wells it’s gonna be easy. Now go against a thief softening you down with shortbow kite before bursting you down.

Place the wells around him…they’re baseline ranged now,remember?

It’s a 50 sec cd well that he can simply walk out of in less than 2 seconds.
You’re the one that needs to stay in melee. He can simply keep kiting you till you run out of lf and can’t hit him to generate lf and die eventually.

And daredevil removes chill/immobilize on dodge thanks to its grandmaster trait.

If a thief eats or doesn’t interrupt a 1 second cast dark pact then he deserves to die.

28,32 and 40…suffering,corruption and darkness respectively. Traited. He can’t dodge away every chill that you apply if especially if you also got runes and sigils which improve/give chill. By the time he dodges out of those chills you should be close to him. Necrocopter helps alot in this,as I said,GS 5 too. Blow that fear on him as well since you prob. won’t need the stab against him anyway.

I’m just saying it ins’t that big of a deal as it looks. Besides,kiting you in shortbow means he’s also loosing out on major dps.
