How about just blowing up the game mode cause no one should care about ppt anymore at this point except for BG and a few other try hards. Offering people rewards from doing a boring task will get old quick.

We could say the same of the Alpine BL…. its empty all the time unless a ktrain is happening, same goes on desert BL….
Remove both then?
I’d be down with that if it meant getting rid of dbl. one massive map would be better for this gamemode but i dunno if anet could do that.

Just promotes more night capping and sitting on siege. I have no clue why they added this in the game. Guess they wanted to make it look like they were doing something.

defending is way overpowered and is ruining the game imo. everyone just hiding in keeps and not playing the game.

T1 needs to be opened up for more players because anytime there’s a 3-way fight in SMC and you can have any skill other than 1 work means you need more players.
Feel free to take players from the lower servers because they don’t play WvW the way it should be played, it’s not like they’ll be missed or that they’re needed.
Eventually we’ll be left like EotM with three servers.
If you could believe it, there were even larger fights I think it was last week between us, FA and BG. I actually took a couple screenshots because in all my time in WvW, I had never seen that many players in SMC lords room at once.
The entire south corridor and out to the gate was filled with FA, all the way up the ramp and on to the third floor as well as the ramp behind me was filled with BG and the NE and NW corridors were us.
I was saying during the fight that I’d wager each side must have had 60 – 70 people totalling nearly 200 between all of us. The lag was legendary… I just wish I had gotten some better screens to show the scale of the fight.
Big fights with FA? Nah man. FA were backcapping while the big fights were going down.

You lost me at the part of changing the gear on wvw to pvp amulets.
If we could get rid of DIRE and Minstrel i’m all for it. Most of the new gear sets in the game are broken anyways. If you can do a massive amount of heals or condi damage you should be glassy not tank. This also applies to soldier, sentinels and cele.

MAG just bit off two guilds to stack and compete with BG. They took them from TC and JQ and this was only done because Arena Net opened BG and everyone feels the need to also stack to compete. Expect Them back to Tier 1. Expect bid wars to continue.
Even though we can blame the communities for the purchasing and stacking its really Arena Net enabling all this to happen.
Arena Nets balance is a lie.
BG opening Screwed everything up. It’s gonna be MAG vs BG with another server in the mix. Pretty crappy state wvw is in NA

Arena Net lock Blackgate right now. Just check your logs and see the mass transfers just already started. This was a mistake. I understand that this is automated but still a very bad mistake. BG is at risk of absorbing very large guilds on off peak hours when they already have that coverage. BG equates to World 1: 95% and we all know it.
Right now there is no server to compete against BG and you’ve made it so that BG can receive more numbers. The amount of guilds now deciding to go to BG is anywhere from 6 to 8 guilds..this does not include singular players. This effects coverage largely and goes against what you’re trying to do.
The longer BG stays open, the more imbalance created. The more you’ll have to resort to forcing movement of players.
They already got FOO a sea guild that they didn’t need. I would be cool if they got some more NA guilds but it looks like they just want more off hour pvd and no challenge(BG and the guilds that move there)

No more siege please. Make skill damage of people hit gates harder and able to attack walls, go from there. If people want to defend, they need to get off the wall and fight or attack from above with their own skills.
I know it will never happen, but it would be a really awesome event.
I’m mostly disgusted with the mobile cannons that were implemented. Still tired of arrow carts as well, but they really outdid themselves with these cannons…

aoe cap is what gives the big zergs the edge. if a 20 man guild group drops a nice coordinated bomb and hits the whole 80 man zerg it should hit 80 dudes. these zombies reduce damage with numbers which is why people blob it up and why guilds quit the game.
