Is it viable to use rampager gear in pve? Condition damage will be lower than rabid, but auto-attack, feast of corruption, DS pure damage will increase and pure damage is exactly what we need to destroy structures.

Yep, they called “pirates”, BUT pirates can’t be an organized ARMY, pirates are free. Ship, crew and captain – that is what pirate is.
I always wonder how the feed their army. Do they loot and steal? If so, the invasions isn’t enough for them. They must have a home base somewhere.

That reminds me of the time I was in AC with a PUG after putting together my first Rabid set. We went to pay our respects to Kohler and they guy took one look at me in the back and ran past everyone else. I began waving my scepter at him, stacking long-duration bleeds, while the rest of the group rushed to pull him off of me. He still favored me even after I was downed. It was kind of scary and funny at the same time.
Yep, kinda. I wish i can use dire armor and keep crit chance for proc bleeds, so i can become ultimate pve tank

I’m running pve in condition build with rabid gear, and i notice (hard to not) most of time aggro on me and i have to run circles from mobs and bosses. I don’t really understand aggro system

However not all content is about taking that 1 boss down.

These are all good points spoj, and I agree with them. Do you feel the damage of say your DG/WH is alot more, hence making the condi build less optimal?
With Epidemic do you feel the AOE potential though is much greater for Condi?

And overflows without commanders have 0-1% chance to win.
Wings and many other fluff backpacks and similar items should never have been put in the game in the first place IMO. It makes the game look cheap and ruins the art and immersion.

So i start
Conditionmancer or berserker is for you.
You don’t even need to wait to reach them. Minions will aggro at 2k range or so, just by pressing any targetted ability, or hitting someone with an ability. It is really easy to get them to attack, and they are really responsive, you can mash dagger 1 at 2k range and they will run off to kill people.
The weakest minions are bone minions, the only ones below 10kish HP base. They each have around 5.2k HP base, 7.8k HP traited (and if you’re an MM you should have that traited). All other non-heal/elite minions have ~10k base, 15k HP traited. The heal/elite minions have 13k base, 19.5k traited. Unless you are talking WvW/PvE, I don’t know anyone who can spam out an instant 15,000 damage AoE. And if you’re talking PvE/WvW, then just wait till the patch where they are going to increase their base HP (massively, if the leaked notes were anything to tell by).
As for damage, minions deal actually pretty high damage if you know how to keep them on their targets.
It really doesn’t need that much work. They are patching Vampiric Master, which will greatly fix some issues. Besides that, MMs just need them to continue to make the siphon system better, and they need to make Necromatic Corruption less crap.
And which gear should i pick for PvE? PVT looks too defensive, which i don’t really need. Maybe something with healing? I have no idea.

Tried minion master and was hugely dissapointed. In AoE minions die almost instantly, damage not that huge, but most annoying thing – they’re really slow.
It take like 5 seconds to them for realise i’m already in fight and need them to help, especially bone minions, cause i can’t command them with active skill (if i use – they blow instantly right at me) and start to regenerate only after like 15 seconds out of combat
BUT with siphoning and when they’re all alive – i feel really tanky. MM have potential, but it’s broken in so many ways. I know, before it was even worse, but it still need lot of work.
PVT gear is good for MM, (maybe with a mix of assassins for more prec)
Also rampager’s gear is good for hybrid setup , 30/30/x/x/10 and scepter+dagger/axe-focus.
PVT for pve.. too much unnecessary survivability, rabid now is enough to survive anywhere.
After last patch missing window with Teq status, it is bug?
Now i have complete berserker gear and condition (rabid) gear and now want something new for PVE

Soz, editing it to actually answer what I do was being silly.
Soul Reaping, seems about best extra damage. While the 50% crit, and extra crit dam is only going to work on things like Turret defense trash with wells. Stability even for 3 sec per DS, or DS flash can stop you pulling your hair out in situations where we get CC chained. I also didn’t mention, I find the 15% CD on DS ability rock in things like invasion, where DS4, and DS5 do some very nice ‘taging’ to get extra loot.(Don’t get me started on how upset I am with Siphon, I know mosquito’s kill more humans than lions but…)(They did say they updating it next big patch)

8/10 nice and fitting color harmony, but looks kinda elementalist-ish with these cof pauldrons.
I use both black and white color template with a rotation when I want some change but generally prefer white(celestial) to fit legendary staff. I want tequatl weapons badly for my black-green(abyss) color template :/

Well, we were suppose to be attrition, not super high burst damage, but extending the fight for as long as we can, because the longer it went, the better we were.
With this patch, we were promised this part of our setup would be buffed. We did get some brakes stun access that wasn’t 90sec.
But instead we were given this burst condition, that mixed very nicely on hybrid, as long as we gave up any survivability traits or stats on gear.Totally ignoring this. There’s the point I tried to make in this post with PvE.
It’s a random proc on crits. So it’s got more chance of hitting a critter, than the target you want to focus.
If they copied the guard’s blue fire on the bar when it was ready to crit, we’d at least have some idea when it’s ICD was off and say, click a few more single target spells on the mob we wanted focused, before Epidemic.
As it is, you can only pray to the god of fire & life, as a follower of cold & death. Then hope it go’s right.Then, the biggie. Condition Stack Cap.
Quick look at the Burning Wiki, says there’s 47 skills that apply burning, 12 other class traits.
While they don’t apply as often as say, Ele’s Scepter that’s every auto-attack. Lots of groups like a guardian. They passively apply it quite often.
While telling any warrior you party with, they an’t allowed to use a Bow, is going to go down better than no GSword… You really keen to form groups with no Guards or Mes’s, and only Ele’s that won’t go into Fire Attainment?
What happens in a group event? Gosh, we can’t even stop people deliberately Akitteng on the turrets with Teq where I come from…Oh, then there’s big scary PvE monsters are made ‘hard’ by being Immune to Crit.
And your suggest? 30 blood magic for barely visible siphon?

Only place i saw them is Orr, and all of them are Risen. Are gorillas extinct? Or they inhabited only on Orr?

^Great build here, I run 6x Runes of Altruism though with Medkit. You can get almost full time Fury with it. I switch back and forth from this one to a 30/10/0/0/30 Bomb or Grenade with SD. Its a harder build to run but you can keep a lot of Vulnerability on the target which increases your whole group’s dps.
Either way, I usually run Power Wrench other than Adrenaline Implants when I can, Pry Bar is a nice damage boost.
Lastly, play rifle as a melee weapon. Both 3 and 5 benefit from being up close. This way switching to Pry Bar is worth it.
i love grenade coz it look cool with my predator and greatly increase the whole team dps by its stack lots of Vulnearability, buts grenade really really hurt my finger lol

Everything in engineer have direct damage + conditions, so if you go bers – your condition damage will do nothing, if you go condition – your direct damage will insanely low.
So should i go rampager to boost both or i’m wrong?
I thought it was neat how in the pavilion we were given the option to get other cultural weapons. I would love to be able to do this with the armors. I wonder if we could get a limited event that would allow us to purchase them like we did the weapons- pretty please
Pavilion just gather sellers in one place and made insane price for weapons. You can but them for just 9k karma in home locations :/
I complete dungeon master long time ago and only one is still hard after year (Arah p4 is not hard, it’s just insanely loooooong)
CM shows how dungeon should be. It is hard, challenging and fun.
Well, mostly because of bugs and overpowered mobs and traps which kill you in seconds, but it’s way more fun, you can’t just ZERG dungeon with mindless autoattack spam.
Only else hard dungeon i can remember is TA Fw/Up, and because of bug too (spiders didn’t despawn, so you have only 1 easy-try, which is hard too because of number and damage)
