Then dont use conditions build on this boss or zerk build,conditions wont do much and you cant crit him so go max power and healing to be most effective in the zerg
All my money in ascended now and i have no pvt or dire gear.
Plague spread, doesn’t matter if you kill source, other already touched and continue to spread.
There will be lot lot lot of adds,and with no dps meter no1 will care about your dps anyway.

Sylvari necro’s are best, like poisonous spike vine. And Norns in most of light armor looks ridiculous

The explanation given on the official page seems to be “he’s gathered power” – so we may have to figure out why or how he did so.

It’s really hard to find party for some dungeons, when you are necromacner. Every single party ask only for waromesmerguards, and i hate play my warrior in pve, but i have no choice.

i love spectral armour as it is (the only change i -maybe- would like to see is stab on it… but then comparing to armour of earth… it would have to lose something to get it… which i probably wouldnt like) we dont need more condition control

Nvm about bonus, i’m an idiot. With undead runes i have +17 condition damage compared to scavenger runes, totally forgot i have vitality even with 0 in trait tree
Depends on build. With Deathly Perception every single DS shot is crit.
I just replaced my undead runes (5% of tough to condi) with scavenging (7% of vit to condi) and now i have almost same condi damage (and even more with 30 points blood magic as necromancer) + pretty nice additional heal. I don’t want change armor to dire (prefer keep precision) but undead runes are worthless.
They should up to 7% (or vit should lower to 5%), i thought runes should give same stat bonuses

Suggestion was made to me by a guild member that it would be nice to have starter armor as a permanently available skin as the Radiant skins are. Specific issue is the thief hood available as a starter isn’t matched by an advanced helm, but having that skin available would allow transmutes.
You can transmute the thief’s hood, you know.
If you accidently sold it and have no character slot to create new char – you’ll never able to get it (unless you delete one of you char or upgrade slots)

Rampager isn’t necessary. Best thing in condition builds – you can use tanky gear (dire/rabid) and still have maximum condition damage (power builds need power, precision and crit damage, and we need just 1 stat to be happy)
Only if staff autoattack wasn’t so pathetic (especially in condi build) and marks have lower cooldown
Personally I’m holding out hope that the new legendary scepter will be worth using and will be getting that. Therefore i’m getting the dagger first and then staff. Skipping scepter altogether and going for the legendary one.

In one of last interview they said plan to add new legendaries in 2013
Just got kicked from party in fractals AFTER killing Jade Maw (it was kick, no doubt, saw kick request on guy who they kicked before me) and don’t get daily reward, because you have to wait like 30 seconds before you get it (and it’s very stupid)
I am report him, but actually have no evidence – party chat just erase after you left party, there is not protection in game from this and could happen with everyone.
Just wanted to tell you guys. This rune is same like Undead and it is in my opinion even better because of the 1000 hp lifeleech. That means your heal has 1000 more heal and you can get a 1000hp heal every 15 seconds. This is better than the 50 Toughness. You will lose as a full rapid player ~30 condition dmg, but as a dire player gain more condition dmg.
Dire armor is bit hard to get – it’s only from loot (which cost a lot on TP) or thru farm of CoE

Maybe it’s just me, but i think Living World events should have more affecth the world. Yes we got some entertaining stories or/and activities, but basically changes stays only for event period, gone and world stays the same.

Don’t like leaf armor, so can’t rate
So now it’s just 5s protection and life force gathering, but not really useful. Look at warrior Berserker stance – before patch it was use just for fill adrenaline bar, but now it’s 8-10 sec 100% defense from conditions.
Necromancer is condition god, he heals by conditions, he transfer condition, he draw conditions, BUT have no protection from conditions. I think Spectral Armor should be upgrade, i don’t say it’s MUST be condition protection like war stance, but i never use it now.
Btw, necro only stability is on Elite skills (and 1s on well) with big cooldown, maybe Armor should give it too.
What do you think? Does SA need change and in which way?

And Necromancers Epidemic just slain entire zerg.
I love play as support sometimes and in gw2 you can make very good support build for almost every class, BUT they’re completely useless. Everything except high lvl fractals could be just zerged with 5 DPS or 4 dps+mesmer/guardian (Or just 5 warriors, i did it few times, i finish my Dungeon Master with 5 warrior party actually) and this is awful.
So, i’m almost finish craft first ascended, need only 5-6 spiritwoods and it’s done.
I’m conditionmancer and have to decipe pick my mainweapon scepter (and for dagger i have to up weaponsmith, and i don’t have money now for it) or Staff, which i use not that much.
So, where can i get rabid orichalcum imbued inscription recipe? Or it’s only thru salvage? And if only salvage – which weapon is cheapest?
So I just got my necromancer up to level 40 and I’m pretty tired of running MM build. I thought I might try out the terrormancer build but I stumbled on a ton of “terrormancer nerfed” threads. Is it still viable or not? And if it is, are there any other recommended builds? I want to be able to pve and wvwvw without have to re-trait constantly
First you up 80, and only then you made a build. On wvw no matter, your stats way lower than any real-80
I’ll say this right off the bat. I haven’t played this game for 6+ months (prob longer) but I remember before I left necros weren’t that great. Meaning they were underpowered compared to many of the other profs. How are they now? This was the prof that made me decide to play this game in the first place and I want to give it another go. Necro’s are good and i love to play, but pug-parties still prefer war/guard/mesmer
I had to buy 2 more tabs in bank to keep my resources, this is really annoying when you can’t deposit collectible, because resource bank is so small.
Limit have to be increased or deleted, wallet for tokens don’t have limits, right? Why resources should?

if I could, I would totally remake my human necro into an asura and turn it into a fire demon imp (destroyer). Hellfire head + shoulders + gloves look amazing on asura.
Fire demon with green necromancer skills? Not fit. You can make Elementalist and with fire build it would look amazing

I love Epidemic. When running those Invasions and and group DE it just burns through everything. Especially when a champ with the zerg focusing it gets Epidemic’d and everything around it suddenly gets 25 vuln, 25 bleed, poison, weakness, blind, burn, torment….
But on pve-dungeons/fractals, especially on single-boss encounters damage feels really low

So i have both berserker and condition gears, and love to play condition, but damage feel so tiny, so insignificant, scepter autoattack is joke, especially with construction-type enemies.
But when i pick dagger or DS build – i see 6-8k crits, giant aoe damage with wells or DS-4.
And my mind is stuck with this.
Increase is increase, next weapon-upgrade will be not soon. Btw you can wait new legendaries and focus them.

It surely seems a good substitute for runes of nightmare, specially to go 4 into traveler and 2 into lyssa for 20% condition duration.
But is it worth it to go with all 6 pieces for speed and free 1 utility?
Is it better than runes of perplexity?
Does the +30 to all stats compensate for loss in condition damage?

Traveler increase crit damage, if i run power build – i’m probably will use it. But if i use it with condition build – i’ll lose too much condi dmg.
Poison – Doesn’t reduce heals. – u mean when you use conditions-cleanse heal? Or when you apply poison enemy healing don’t reduce? If 1st – its not a bug.
