I like this idea, changing animation of weapon skills for something different. Knowing anet this will never happen, they got big problems to fix current legendary effects, making complete new set of animation/effects is to much for them.

Colin confirmed that they don’t want to spend time to redesign old content but make new one so no for old dragons revamp.

Hmm already got 5 legendarys. If I can obtain pre from collection I can craft new legendary right after this. Wonder how much time takes to finish precursor, probably alot

If you zoom out camera and set large fov its definitely affect fps.

Since we get new borderland map just give this gvg scrubs old borderland map, remove all camps, towers, keeps, ruins. They are not needed.

Match making is joke, I sit 5min in que and then 1 game win 500 to 25, second loose 500 to 100. Balanced ?

Even if you lover settings you can still crash. And there is many situations when big groups of people crash in same time. I guess its most a server issue. Try group up with someone and if you crash spam join after reconnect, if you get lucky you can get back coz other people will crash

Missing aura is not a bug, thats how LOD option work, it reduce particle effects when there is to many stuff on screen. Aura from howler, bifrost, fire effect on arm from incinerator or ice from frostfang.

Actually 5v5 is better for stronghold format then normal spvp. There will be lots of creeps running on that lanes so we don’t need more players or it will be one big zerg fight like in wvw. Also its no secret that anet got esport aspirations and more then 10 players in game its just bad to watch, and comment.
People probably count on some 20v20 zerg deathmatches but this will probably never happen .

Meh, its just gold sink. Lost 16 gold, gain 14 something plus some trash food and fireworks.

This is all speculations, for now pet is still there so its rather same mechanic. Ofc no one know for sure unless we see gameplays form test version.

On trailer druid still got pet so I don’t think we get new class mechanic. New weapon plus some new utility’s and that’s all.

Best classes for roaming are thief/mesmer/warrior/ele/engie. All of them can engage and disengage from fight. Necros can’t catch anyone or run out if they need too.

I play since game release. 7 char, 5 legendarys, about 17k achi points and I don’t even care to collect them.
All that and I never got anything valuable as a drop that is worth more then 100g. Thats how this game rewards veteran players, with big fuc…. nothing.

That’s funny. On my server Deso there are no karma train and since patch no pug zerg. Seriously all I see are guild groups running around taking care of there own business. Weird

Daily monthly change looks very cool for me. But log-in rewards? WTF? I know you want keep players coming back but this idea is bit too much dont you think? Rewarding players for participation ins?tead of win is generaly bad idea and its something kitten ruining game industry.

I think its ok. This login reward system is nothing new. Many other games have it but here you actually dont loose progress if you miss 1 day like in some other mmos.

@OP Hey , last year i had serious lag issues with WvW, i solved them by upgrading my PC and buying better quality internet service , i know that spending more money isn’t a solution for every situation but in this case it worked 100% im basically lag free the only noticeable frame drops for me is if i follow a zerg. I suggest investing in ether upgrading your pc and or internet service. Ps i live on the US east cost which is relatively far from the NA servers.

We not talk here about poor pc performance but skill lag, sometimes in zerg you cant even fire a single skill, this is server lag and desynchro.

You dont get it, money is no problem here. Anet don’t want to create expansion, they focus on cheap developing: minimum content, maximum profit. If you dont like it you should quit, new players is all anet cares right now coz new players dont have big demands :P

can support what Nokaru said; my wvw guild (stationed in silver) disbanded few months ago so I decided to move to gold league… and now I am getting PMs from old members who still want to play wvw how are things in gold, since in silver for the most part of the day is absolutely empty, fills for few hours around prime time and then the population drops back to a few roams and an occasional zerg in the off hours… cant imagine how are things in bronze, that must be completely empty
and thats why people are stacking in top tiers, cuz the rest is slowly dying off, and if you want to play, you have to go to upper tiers…

Move long time ago to t1 Deso not because I want win all the time but I want have ppl to play with. In current state of wvw I don’t go back to lower tier.
People get bored of wvw, same old stuff for 2y now. If anet don’t do anything soon even t1 will be empty.

You mean color rotation? Colors are based on server position in ranking.

i have no problem with sw enemys, i can solo champs and escort dollys alone, easy. Build zerker power necro.

At what will be purpose of this map, you finish hearts, sp, vista’s and then what? Dead zone?

New maps are needed badly, this borderland and eternal maps are old like hell end everyone have enough of them. I dont want add more maps to match up, just create new ones and rotate them with old ones every month.

I like this change, ppk and no w.swords make sense together. If enemy got bigger blob there is no point run in big group cos every wipe will cost lots of points. So smaller server should split in smaller groups and try ninja cap objectives and no w.swords should help with that.
Anyway on t1 keeps and garri are contested 24/7 so its not big change for as anyway

I love this disablers <3 Finnaly defenders got advantage, no more golem/blob rushes, no more ninja caps. Its gonna help break karma cap train meta. Now you have to actually think and work harder to cap something.

Pristine relics got obsolete since fractal patch, no one need them so everyone convert them. Anet screw us all because we now need them. i dont have anything against doing fractals, i’m lv 50. But this is bs what anet do with new recipes

Reduce CD on Axe aa is needed. I would love to see Axe no.1 skill change to melle with cleave but that will never happen.

As long ranger got pet there never will be place for ranger in wvw

I got both of them. Footprints are from frostfang, fog aura from howler and ice arm from frostfang, you also still get animation weapon change from howler . I think this two match perfectly with each other. Only thing you don’t get is obviously footprints from howler because you have them from frostfang.
