diminishing returns (less rewards the more you run a path) in dungeons is account wide. switching character will do nothing.

the bonus chest for completing it for the first time that day is also account based. this resets at the same time as the dailies.

mining picks (and other gathering tools) and salvage kits are not re-stackable, neither are they splittable. this is by design.

edit to clarify: they are individual items with a certain number of uses. eg: Copper Mining Pick is a singular item with 100 uses. if you use 1 of the 100 uses, you can’t ‘stack’ it with another Copper Mining Pick to gain that 1 use back on the original item. the same with salvage kits.

17khp could come from WvW bonuses for your server. the rest I’m not sure, but the hp difference sounds like the WvW bonus. if you open the WvW panel you can see the bonuses your server has earned.

have you tried moving forward? I’m pretty sure she doesn’t appear straight away. just move towards the structure at the end of the chasm. if she doesn’t appear before you get to it, then it’s bugged

you don’t need the expansion to see the shards. they have been on that vendor for forever and are unrelated to the expansion.

I can’t find an uncontested temple to even check right now, but I’m sure they weren’t removed. they were there last week (ish).

those are the only ones that are unrelated to the gem store (that I know of)

your trading post window looks the same as mine. your quantity box (that you can type in) is where the 1 is next to the word Quantity on your screenshot. the arrows to increase/decrease the amount are in the same box as the 1 (they are small, but they are there), or you can use the slider, which is next to the box. you can also hover your mouse over the Quantity box and change the number by using the mouse to scroll (like with a web page)

to repeat. there is nothing wrong with your trading post window. you have a quantity box, as well as arrows.

Edit: edited your picture. Red = Quantity box. Yellow = Arrows. Green = Slider. these all change quantity amounts.

I like this idea (liked your letter version as well). not sure why there aren’t more statues and such of the human gods that give boons, seeing as there are quite a few norn shrines that give boons for kneeling at them, and charr statues that do the same if you salute.

while the boons never last for long, I feel it gives those areas a lot of flavor just from having them and having them across Kryta would have the same positive effect.

While I support the idea of new halls. (in this case, more is better), how would situations where a guild that captured one of the existing halls (and upgrades) wants one of the new ones?

Could be handled like it is now. You pay the price for exploration and run the claim guild hall mission and the new guild hall replaces your old one.

What about all the upgrades that you already unlocked? Would those be removed? While I do not mind ( I am all for gold/material sinks). I know many would be in an uproar over that.

right now you can switch guild halls, and all upgrades are transferred to the new hall. I don’t see any future ones being any different

gift of energy is an Artificer recipe bought from Miyani. you need a level 400 Artificer to craft it.

gift of colour is another recipe bought from Miyani, but this time for Chef. you need a level 400 chef to craft it.

it is a trophy, so you won’t get credit for the achievement until you get it as a drop from risen gorillas. this might take some time and a few (hundred) kills.

or you could… you know…. just delete them from your bag instead of visiting that vendor. problem solved without removing them from the game

just adding: I bought the first two items on the tp list that were not linking. when I had them in my bag they linked from my bag, and from the tp listing.

Edit: I put them in the bank, and they still linked from the tp. I then used them in the mystic forge, and now they are no longer linking from the tp.

I just tried with some random things. the 7 things in the tp window were the things I tried linking. you can see the result in the chat window. not sure if this is consistent or if it’s just me

nightfury (and the snow one which is similar) is classed as shoulder armor. armor and an outfit can’t be shown at the same time.

if you’re using an outfit, ticking and unticking the shoulder armor box only makes changes on the outfit you’re wearing (if it supports the removal of the shoulder pieces on the outfit).

unfortunately, it is not a bug

if a ‘bunch of loot’ is dropping it sounds like you’re getting the chest loot automatically. do you have the Pact Commander mastery? the auto loot from that works with boss chests too.

if it isn’t that, then I’m not sure what it could be

the trait does work, however, it does not reflect that in the hero panel, or in the tooltips for skills.

I have created a few recently, none were taken. out of all my characters (61) I have only had to resort to accented letters 11 times. I’d say that was a good ratio for uniqueness

What happens to the level-up rewards I would earn by leveling up regularly?
If you use the Level-80 Boost to advance your character to max level, you won’t get the level-up rewards you would have earned from normal leveling. However, the package of rewards from consuming the boost is much more valuable than the normal level-up rewards. Note that if you boost one of your characters and then undo the boost, that character will still earn their level-up rewards as normal – using the boost only cancels out the level-up rewards for the character whose boost you make permanent.

all new things are usually more expensive than they ‘should’ be. it’s only because there aren’t many available. wait a while, I’m sure, like Inculpatus cedo said, they will lower in price as more come on the market.

wow, I didn’t realise that returning to where you originally were is ‘too much convenience’. good job they took those crafting stations out of wvw as quick as they did, I mean having that level of convenience (returning to your original position, and without spending 1000 gems no less) was just making the game leak people for 3+ years….

the bag slot expansion is for one, singular, character of your choosing.

also, sometimes it can help to press the restore defaults button in the sound options (not sure if you’ve tried that). I’ve had sound problems before that has been fixed by pressing that, even though the settings themselves didn’t actually change (they were default already)

speaking for myself (with 64 slots) buying a second account is great, but it doesn’t have all the skins I’ve unlocked, and it isn’t linked to my gw1 account, so I wouldn’t have the HoM rewards there. I’d also have to buy the s2 story, and all the gem store items I’d be missing (tools etc).

by the time I was done, getting a new account would not be worth it to me just to go back to where I started 3-4 years ago, for the sake of creating alts

cap is still the same. someone with 70 slots who bought the extra character slot posted in the forum not long ago saying they didn’t get the slot.

also make sure character model limit is set to low and disable high res-character textures while running in VB. it might help some if this is the only map you experience the crashes in.

this says it’s an out of memory crash, but I could be wrong

the other thing you mentioned could be related, try running the repair command in the game shortcut, and waiting until the repair is finished (it can look like the repair crashes, but it doesn’t really, you just have to wait), and see if that helps any.

when that’s done try looking in the temp folder (Users/username/AppData/Local/Temp) for any guild wars 2 related files. they’re usually named gw2cache then a random number. delete any you can find there.

you are getting an out of memory crash, which is probably because you are using the 32 bit client on a 32 bit system.

have you tried lowering your graphics settings? it might help, but I can’t say for sure that it will.

it’s a level 30 scroll. so it’ll take any character below level 30 to level 30.

if you had 69 character slots (the max amount of character slots) before purchasing HoT deluxe, you would have had 70 (there is no other way to have 70). unfortunately you can’t go above that, and you’d probably be better off contacting support, and seeing what they can do for you.

elementalist doesn’t get the weapon swap option, you can only use one weapon set at a time.

have you put tempest into the 3rd slot in the build panel? it needs to be part of your build, not just unlocked, to use the warhorn.

do you need to have the raid masteries for it to consider the Heart of Maguuma masteries unlocked and completed or just the ones outside of raids?

if you’re retaking claw island, you don’t get xp from killing any of the enemies. it has been that way for a long time now.

^Well, then that could be the problem. He/she is using the 64-bit client (which is default) and only has a 32-bit OS.

actually the default depends on your system. if your pc can’t handle the 64 bit, it will, by default, use the 32 bit. I’ve tested it on older systems I have (one uses win 7 and one is still on xp), they always use the 32 bit.

What I did was copy paste it in the guild message on my personal guild. When I rep my personal guild, the message is put in chat and the waypoints are clickable to go to them directly.

just went to check this out, and now I wish I didn’t

go to the bank (any bank or crafting table will do), and click the wardrobe tab (the bottom one). in there you will find all skins the game offers. click Heavy down the side of the wardrobe, then type Illustrious into the search bar, it will show you the ascended armor skins. you can click on them to preview on your character.

have you tried bypassing the launcher?

put -email YOUREMAIL -password YOURPASSWORD -nopatchui in your shortcut, same as you did with the -repair.

it’s not a fix for your issue, but it could mean you can play
