that has happened there for ages and thankfully it’s the only place I’ve seen it happen. I’ve reported it in game before, maybe you should too. it’s said that the devs can get more information about what’s going on from the in game bug reports, so I’m sure they’d find reports of this useful.

So, I had completed Brisban Wildlands (I think) in the past but noticed I was missing 1 POI and 1 waypoint. I just went to get them and it said I completed the map but I didn’t get any new charge (or that unidentified dye).

Is that because I had previously completed it? (I’m assuming those were added after I had completed it because those were the only ones missing).

yes, it is because you completed it before and got the rewards when you originally completed the map

I remember a long… long…. long… time ago when Anet said they were going to create a vendor to spend them. unfortunately, that never happened, and it’s probably long forgotten about, but it still might be on the table… under all the other things still on there

“throughout the week” is the key phrase here. it doesn’t mean “on day one” :P

edit: the quaggan and skritt sales had the same wording. their items and offers appeared periodically throughout the week too.

your 3rd skill is set to auto attack, however this isn’t a skill that can be used that way, thus the lock on it.

try ctrl+right-click skill 1 to change the auto attack to skill 1 (which can be used with auto attack)

the original price for the complete package was 1600. this had a 20% reduction on it not long ago to 1280. a further 20% reduction has recently been added to it. making it 1024 at a 40% (technically) reduction of the original price.

all the tools say “This tool replaces your Logging Axe (etc) on any character”, so I’m guessing that it works the same.

The Foundation Stones is bugged, and doesn’t actually count on the list for some reason.

it’s not unreachable. when you do the event to take back Gort’s home from the ettins, Gort clears the rocks away, revealing a small chest and the copper node.

is it an exotic trinket? if it is the forge stones count as another exotic trinket. just like with other thinks 4 of them can be combined to make another random exotic trinket

what is ‘realistic buffs and food’ exactly?

is the ‘Create’ button clickable? if it is, your extra character slot is there. you don’t need to scroll to it or highlight it to create a character. the create button is always clickable if you have empty character slots (in my experience)

I didn’t do them before the 2g, and I still don’t do them. my fun is worth more than 2g to me, so I do that instead, whatever that may be.

perhaps you could post the error that you are getting? if it is a box that pops up, click on the more info button and copy/paste that. if it’s just an error number, posting that is helpful too.

it may be a problem with the linking server, because I have GW1, and it’s linked to my account (achievement points turn up for it and HoM skins in GW2 and I can log in on GW1), yet right now, if I look in my account it tells me to ‘buy now’.

to me that says something isn’t right with something.

nope
100% boost to magic find, WvW rank gain, experience from kills, and gold from kills. 10% bonus to reward track progress.

central Tyria mastery points are gained by doing achievements. this wiki page lists what they all are:

If I have a recipe for, let’s say a jeweler and I will unlock it with another character who is an armor smith.. I assume the other character, who is a jeweler gets this recipe unlocked automatically??

no, your armorsmith will get the recipe, but not your jeweler. recipes are character unlocks, so they only unlock for the character who used it.

What exactly is a boon in GW2 (for food that gives you bonuses when you’re under an effect of a boon) How do I know I’m under an effect of a boon?

looks the same to me, no matter the settings. screenies were taken on medium settings (cos I wanted to know if it made a difference).

take something else out, or put something else in. that sometimes refreshes it properly

try putting things in in a different order (like philosopher’s stones first). I know it sounds silly, but you’d be surprised how often doing it fixes it.

did you try dowloading the client from your account (from the forum click My Account >> Game Content) and renaming it to Gw2.exe and over-writing the one that’s already installed?

or, you know, you could buy the slots and the tools, put the infinite tools in the slots, equip copper tools on your characters, and double click to switch between the tool sets quickly.

if you use gw2 efficiency, you can see there all the skins you’re missing. you can sort the skins by how you get them, weight class, weapon, etc, and it’s in a nice list. it’s not only weapons either, you can use it to see armor/back items you’re missing too.

sounds like a graphics driver crash to me. what drivers are you using with your card? the most up to date ones?

I did not know this…. Hmm, how hard is it to activate crafting skills? Do I just walk up to the skill supplier and switch to that skill? I take it all my skills retain their levels/recipes regardless of which one is active at the time?

yes, you just talk to the master craftsman to switch back. it does cost 50s when you switch back to a maxed craft, but it’s worth it imo

I don’t know about anyone else, but I have never once paid any attention to the pvp icons on people’s names (as in I didn’t care what they were for), no matter the game mode I was playing. I did see them as unnecessary clutter though. a stupid icon on the nameplate that has no bearing outside of pvp. the less clutter the better I say. would like them to remove it in pve too.
