you can’t do anything with gear/items soulbound to a deleted character apart from right-clicking and deleting the item.

I stopped looking at other’s creativity when wings on everyone became a thing.

if your friend is online at the time, try typing in the name of the character they are on. I’ve experienced this bug before and that always gets around it.

I don’t know most people’s opinion… but at least I only use skins that I like, and I think are coherent with my character. If they are made in the crafting stations, obtained through rng or paid with gems doesn’t matter to me.

As an example, I have a Guardian with a “rough ceramic” theme, who uses some asuran cultural pieces mixed with a few common basic armors and beaded Hylek weapons. I could maybe incorporate some ley-line armor to him, but ley line weapons just wouldnt work, and none of the black lion items would, either. I don’t care how exclusive are the pieces of his equipment. I only care he looks like I want him to.

I couldn’t care less about BL skins unless they fit my characters, and don’t care how rare anything is or isn’t.

I get it every time I map the zone, not sure why. maybe it’s because I’m one of those wierdos who kills every creature that crosses my path.

sadly I usually end up deleting them because no one needs it while I’m in the map (I ask before I leave and keep an eye on map chat just in case) and to me it’s junk

I’d go with the ascended crafting box right now. it’s a guaranteed 11g/8g/11g/9g, maybe more because you get 1 or 2 mats. the laurel to t6 mat way is hit and miss at the moment in my opinion.

ok, after doing step 1 in my original post, look at the properties box that pops up and find the target box (it is in the shortcut tab, so make sure you’re in that tab).
in the target box it normally looks something like this |“C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe”|
so change it to look like this |“C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -bmp|
(Notice the -bmp is outside of the quotation marks, and there is a space after the last quotation mark)
then click ok and run the game from that shortcut.

you don’t need special keybinds, just the normal screenshot key in game (whatever that is for you).

yes, the Deluxe version upgrade is available in the gem store, but not the Ultimate version (the one with the gems), so you can upgrade later if you want

try opening the playlists in notepad (not even joking), and making sure all the paths to the mp3 files are full paths.

eg: C:\Users\User\Music\Music.mp3

the game can be funny about file paths, but seems to work great when they are full paths.

this is the problem:
LavasoftTcpService64.dll

to fix it remove any program by Lavasoft (eg: Ad-Aware), then the game will run

the pvp icon shows up on the bar at level 22 on all new accounts (has been this way for a while now). not sure if that’s what you mean.

however I’m fairly sure pvp can still be accessed by setting a keybind for the pvp panel in the controls menu.

you’re done in the instance. all that’s left to do is leave and go to Fort Trinity for the final cutscene/rewards

try a different path. there is a bug where the ticks are displaying/or not displaying for the correct paths they correspond to.

I’m fairly sure healing spring isn’t activated by enemies (seeing as it isn’t an offensive trap). it is, however activated by you/allies when your health is less than 100%

as far as I can tell, you need 30. 15 for the experimental nightsword blade and 15 for the hilt

no a free to play player can’t use the gold and buy the expidition, you have to have HoT in order to start it (just tried on an account that doesn’t have HoT)

sounds like you’ve accidentally set it as the auto-attack option for your secondary weapon set.

try pressing ctrl+right-click on the number 1 skill when you have your secondary weapon selected.

any new people posting in this thread: you are having a completely different issue than the original post. the original issue was with the NPC Mender Aviala, who you talk to before the troll salve instance. the original issue was fixed, and as far as I know, hasn’t been an issue since.

did you try doing all the paths? one of them might make it count. it’s the only thing you can do right now, apart from wait for a fix I’m afraid.

try a different path, there is a bug that shows the completion ticks on the wrong paths sometimes.

healing spring is not triggered by enemies iirc, because it is not a damage trap, but by you and your allies. it only triggers if you/allies have less than 100% health.

pretty sure it’s been like this since it was re-classified as a trap skill.

yeah, I’d try doing the path you haven’t done recently. sometimes it’s 1 and 3 that the ticks are reversed for, sometimes others. it’s just usually 1 and 3.

it has been a problem for a while, since the HoT update I think.

try doing a different path (path 3 specifically). 1 and 3 completion ticks were switched, so if you have a tick in path 3 and not 1, you need to do path 3.

I think you need to win 10 (not sure on the number) to get the coffer, which contains a token, at least you did last year

the time period (where an account owns a name) is usually 24 hours from deletion I believe, so you might want to contact support

you have the ability to get hero points after 80. you just have to stop being lazy and actually go places and get them. in the new HoT maps there are 400 hp available. in core Tyria there are 200+. this is more than enough for the elite specs.

edit: even if they added them to masteries, by the time you levelled any mastery 25 times, you might as well just go get the HPs in HoT maps. it would take a lot less time.

ignore where it says you need to upgrade to Heart of Thorns, you don’t really.

there is a 4 day wait, however, and you need to link sms varification to your account. after the 4 days, and the varification, all will be good.

you would lose it. it’s classed as leaving the map.

signet of vampirism can only be set in slot 6, because it is a healing skill.

I know this sounds silly, but have you tried doing other paths? other’s who’ve reported the same bug, but with honor of the waves, have found that the paths they need are not always the path they have to do to check it off the list.

it should be fine to upgrade the account using the code, as long as she goes to her account page online and clicks redeem code. this will upgrade her account.

remember to unlock all the features there is a waiting period (up to five days), and she also has to enable sms varification.

you are transformed using the princess doll tonic. this is what causes the ruined items (unfortunately)

maybe most people around you also have the buff? as far as I can tell (from the small run I did around Rata Sum) the swiftness from leader of the pact is working just fine.

it only inflicts damage/stun and causes agro if an enemy enters/exits the field. if it’s dropped right on them, it does nothing, which is how it’s always worked iirc
