it isn’t reset time yet. you need to wait until 12:01am GMT (Monday), 4:01pm PST (Sunday) or 6:01pm CST (Sunday) I think (I’m not great at time conversions). either way, whatever time reset happens for you today.

old Tyria gets my vote. after a run through of the story and exploring the new zones, I’ve gone back to playing in old Tyria. right now the only time I spend any time in HoT maps is when I’m gathering flax. the new maps are ok, and I find them enjoyable, but I still prefer old Tyria, to the point where I have no desire to build the HoT masteries. this is because I know I won’t be spending any amount of time in the maps, so the effort would be wasted. on the other hand, I’ve maxed my Tyria masteries.

there’s at least 15 in DR. I grabbed 15 there today, just running around. there might be more of them, but I stopped looking after I got the achievement.

the clutter at the side of the screen drives me crazy. it always has. I have no problem with Anet advertising things in-game, I actually think it’s a great idea, but I would like a way to get rid of it after I’ve seen it.

the option is there, but isn’t exactly done in the best way. you have to set the option to allow them to admin lower ranks. this allows people to invite. it can be ticked on any rank, even the lowest rank you have.

edit: the game assumes rank (officer, etc) by what order your ranks are listed in the guild panel (the order can be changed by dragging the rank to a different position, apart from leader). leader >> officer >> member >> etc. this is so that you can set who can admin (change rank/kick/etc) those below them.

wood glue is bought from Sigurlina Jonsdottir in the guild hall with tier 4 trader unlocked. the other two, I have no idea

you need to equip the elite trait line in the build tab (in the bottom line). then you can use the shield, and other chronomancer skills.

have you been in the guild for 72 hours? has the guild had the bank for 72 hours? if the answer to both of those things is ‘yes’, then you might want to contact support, however if the answer is ‘no’ then wait 72 hours (it is normal).

elder wood respawn is every hour. I know because I timed it when I was trying to get foxfire clusters.

if you put the tools in your inventory (not equipped) and go to the black lion weapon specialist (the guys who sell weapon skins for tickets) they can be exchanged for account bound versions.

also, the whispers/vigil/priory backpacks (both versions) are soulbound on aquire, which as far as I can tell, is not a bug

according to gw2 crafts it costs about 42-43g to level from 0-400 and 46-47g to go from 400-500. so roughly 90g for the lot.

I’ve been saying this for a while now, but I really feel Anet needs to come out with a lord faren speedo skin (or outfit, where it’s just the speedo), and a kasmeer’s bikini skin (or outfit).

I don’t want to look like Lord Faren or Kasmeer, but I do want the speedo (So when I say ‘outfit’ here, I mean all it is, is your character wearing the speedo or bikini, you don’t actually take on the appearance of Lord Faren or Kasmeer as well). Or at least a set of invisible armor (now that we have an invisible boots skin). My male engineer would suit having no top on, he’s sick of all the trenchcoats.

I wonder though. Will my female Charrs be wearing the speedo or the bikini?

press f11 and find the content guide drop down menu. select hide events and personal story. then you only get map completion stuff

shouldn’t it be 133, 133, 71, 71 for that stat set?

transformations causes the ruined ore/wood/plants right now, so that might be your issue. try gathering without being transformed.

As far as I can see if you want the old Hunter skin (the larger, grey one with a silvery pattern on the top) there seems to be no way to get it – as far as I know buying the precursor or completing the collection won’t unlock the old skins, only the new ones.

in my experience you do get the old The Hunter skin when adding the new one to the wardrobe. I had The Hunter precursor sitting in my bank since before the update, after the update I bound it to my account, and all the skins unlocked in the wardrobe, including the old skin.

I don’t see any reason why you would be banned for a friend sending you anything, even a legendary.

you need the level 65 jewel Embellished Brilliant Ruby Jewel because the backpack isn’t level 80. it also doesn’t have an agony infusion slot, so you can’t use that in there, but you can use any of the offensive/utility/Omni infusions.

I’d buy the outfit and glider in a second, but there’s no way I’m paying 2000 gems for an ugly weapon, RNG dye kits and a makeover kit on top. that’s 600 gems for junk. no thanks ANet.

there is no such feature

actually, you get nothing. spirit shards were removed from levelling past level 80 in the June 23rd update.

hmmm. not sure then. maybe they can’t be used in discovery? I haven’t levelled a jewel crafter in a long time.

if you’re looking to make rare jewels, you need to buy the recipes from the master jeweler to unlock them I think.

you need to have a character reach level 15 before map completion information is shown on the map screen.

looks like one of the shimmering weapons, you can look at them in the wardrobe, but I have no idea where you get them from. I’m guessing something in a guild hall, because I’m sure they were mentioned as new guild weapons

actually, masteries are not available in vanilla. they are all locked behind HoT.

however, there is the new wvw map that is available for everyone

you need to select the specialization in the build panel in the third slot. you can only use the bow if you have the specialization selected.

I think you’re thinking of masteries, those work the way you describe, however elite specializations are unlocked per character. so, yes, you have to collect the hero points on all of your characters to unlock their elite specilizations.

not sure how the crafted precursor works, maybe the experiment skin is used for both tier 1 and 2, unless it’s called something completely different. I haven’t gone through any of the crafted ones, but I have 2 legendaries unlocked (Quip and Incinerator), both of those only have the precursor skin and experimental version listed.

maybe someone else can let us know that one

like I said in my last post. I had The Hunter, this was before the update, but I had not accountbound it, or unlocked the skin. after the HoT patch hit, I checked The Hunter in my bank. obviously it had the new skin. I decided to unlock the skin anyway, so went ahead and right-clicked it and added it to the wardrobe. this unlocked The Hunter Experiment, The Hunter (original skin), and The Hunter (new skin).

total makeover kits don’t allow name changes, you need a name change contract for that. if you applied changes with the makeover kit, you used it’s one use, and that’s why it disappeared from your inventory.

yes, it will proc from auto attack, even though it is in your shield

it happens to us all sometimes. I’ve had so many ‘duh’ moments with simple things I wouldn’t even want to list them. glad you figured out why you couldn’t sell it though

you have to take it out of the bank to sell it, otherwise you don’t get the option to.

a little thing I’ve noticed. I keep getting the pact commander speed buff in city maps. I am not training the pact commander mastery, and have no points in it, and I am not in a party with anyone. yet I still get the buff. the tooltip clearly states ‘swiftness for you and your party in all cities’, so I shouldn’t be getting the buff.

the scout is Explorer Mattis (the first scout you come to). you have to have the backpack with the skin equipped on your character, and after his scout message (that shows the map) a dialogue box pops up with the option.
