armor does not have an agony infusion slot, so you can’t put agony infusions on it.
Edit:
you can use these infusions (depending on the slot type) to increase agony resistance
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Infusion#List_of_infusions
Agony infusions can only be used on these

you get a free character slot no matter what version you bought (deluxe and ultimate get extra charater slot on top of the one listed too), so I’m not seeing a problem.

it won’t be back “until next fall” due to “Spring Cleaning”

not seeing the forced part here. maybe I missed the part in the patch notes where Anet will break into everyone’s homes and hold them hostage until they craft ascended gear.
seriously though, if you don’t want ascended, don’t craft ascended. simple as that.
However….the previous powders just gave me a menu to select which boost i wanted (which is what this powder is supposed to do)
I think you might be thinking of what the Enchanted Reward Boost and Enchanted Combat Boost do.
the powder is used to convert normal boosters into Reward/Combat boosts, if you have no boosters in your bag, the powder will direct you to the gem store to buy more. so, as far as I can see, the powder is working as intended.
Whats the f5 skill for Engineer racials?
Error message appears and the game crashes =D
Considering racial utility skills didn’t have a toolbelt skill. It’ll most likely be the same thing.
racial utility skills do have toolbelt skills. Radiation Field (asura racial utility skill) for example, has the Vent Radiation toolbelt skill.
Edit (cos I pressed post before I’d actually don): it wouldn’t make sense for racial elites to be the only racial skills that don’t have them.
OP, that would be a great arguement, if it wasn’t for the fact that you can get transmutation charges for free from map completions (especially the cities), random black lion chest drops, and the daily login rewards (3 on day 26).
funny thing, no one has asked what race this engi is, or if its male or female. hmmm.
here is support’s page for repairing the client:
https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/28148006-Repairing-the-Game-Client
it gives step by step instructions on how to do it.
hope that helps
instead of adding bag slots have you considered getting bigger bags (which give more spaces) instead?
a 20 slot bag costs around 6g if you buy 3 candy corn cobs and exchange them for a pail (from this guy: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sonder_the_Seller).
you very much can create a group, just make sure that you tell whoever joins that you haven’t done the dungeon before, or put that in your description when creating the group.
There are already traits like that. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Poison_Master for example.
Actually the biggest problem would be the fact that condition damage does nothing against objects. :/
I think they’re going to keep that on purpose so that Phy damage will still have a huge influence for taking down objects. Or least I hope, because bleeding a fence (while would be funny as hell) is not practical.
yet, beeding a earth elemental is completely practical…
for one, you can’t stand on both of the pressure plates alone (they both need to be stood on at the same time iirc), you need at least one other person in there with you.
Arah story mode is a dungeon instance, not a solo instance like personal story, so getting a group to go with you is a great idea. if you don’t know anyone to go with, just create a post in the looking for group tool, I’m sure there will be others around who are willing to help, or need that step in the story themselves.

this already exists. when looking in a category, or just searching, click the little gear icon by the search bar. this brings up the filter dropdown, you can click the match level thing there, or manually input the level.
try posting your ticket number in here:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/GW2-Tickets-for-Review-3-days-older-1
it is for tickets that haven’t had a response in a while. it gets checked regularily by devs, and hopefully they can get you some help
go to Gate Hub Plaza Waypoint (copy & paste this chat code into say chat if you aren’t sure where it is [&BBEEAAA=] and press enter, it will link the waypoint for you to click) over there look for the asura gate with asura by the ramp, that will be the one for Rata Sum. in Rata Sum go to the bottom right part of the platform (Metrical Court Waypoint [&BBMEAAA=]), the portal there leads to Metrica.
Hope that helps
there is a button that appears on the left your skill bar (where the weapon swap usually is), clicking that will drop the bucket (or any other thing you pick up).
hope that helps
edit: added picture that shows the button.
(edited by nottsgman.8206)
you have to choose one of the items on the left (hammer or sword), the accept button will appear then.
hope that helps
I bought and activated the recipe with another character than the one that has Cooking, but I thought that recipes were account bound so I don’t know if it’s that.
this is your problem, recipes are character bound when activated, so whoever you activated it on knows the recipe, and no one else.
the map on the wiki still shows the original 16 hearts, however on the main wiki page for Wayfarer Foothills, there is a more accurate interactive map further down the page.

hope this helps you find the one you’re missing
this is a scam. ANet mails always have the ANet logo on them and never contain links. if a mail says it is sent by a player, it is a scam.

this issue has come up before. if repairing the client doesn’t help, or updating your drivers, try the advice from others who had the same issue:
hope it helps
do either of you have a problem with collecting coins when Autoloot is ticked in the options menu?
I’m asking because I have always had the option ticked, and everything gets looted, coins and all when pressing the ‘f’ key (unless I don’t have bag space). might be worth a try if you haven’t already
Snowden Drifts Event Completer, Daily Fractal, Shiverpeaks Lumberer and Scale 21-30 Fractals are todays PVE dailies according to my game (I have level 80 chars). I’m fairly sure only accounts with only low level chars have different dailies, so yours should be the same (don’t quote me on that).
try checking the dailies from the hero panel instead of the popup that comes with the chest, it might just be a display error. if they aren’t the same, you might want to try repairing the client, it could help.
https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/28148006-Repairing-the-Game-Client
when you leave shadow refuge before it ends you have always lost stealth. as far as I remember it has always worked like this.
go to the Black Lion Trader (armorsmith), theres one net to every trading post in the cities. ask the npc about town clothes, they’ll convert your old town clothes so you can use them again.
edit: ninja’d by Inculpatus cedo.9234
by Maguuma chest, it means the style of chest, not really the region. asura styled and sylvari styled ones contain that map piece. these can be found everywhere, not just in Maguuma areas, but Morgan’s Spiral and Goemm’s Lab (the one at the start and the one at the end can drop it) jps are great places to find both kinds of chest.
it is more to do with what server (or world) you are all on. if you are not in the same server region, then you can’t share a map and play together.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/World#List_of_worlds
charges replaced the entire system (crystals and stones merged into a single transmutation currency). you can get charges from completing maps, daily logins, and things like that, so there are free ways to get them.
if you have crystals or stones from when you played before, you can double-click them to get a few charges 3 Transmutation Stones = 1 Transmutation Charge, and 1 Transmutation Crystal = 1 Transmutation Charge.
not sure if this will help you, but it fixed a problem I had with custom playlists not playing (nothing to do with the -streamingclient command line, but you never know
).
open your playlist in notepad (or something similar), check that the song location listed is the full address of where it is. eg. C:\Users\Username\Music\RandomTitle.mp3. sometimes when creating a playlist they are created without the C:\Users\Username part added (or something similar), and the game can’t find the song, so it won’t play. save when you’re done editing, and it should work fine.
hope this helps some
try viewing it on something that isn’t google chrome, it might work. there have been a few problems viewing the gw2 site using chrome recently.
no. there are a few ways to unlock the skin (adding to wardrobe, salvaging, mystic forge), all ways, however mean you don’t get to sell it after.
I think they did it right with the Zenith skins. You can open up your achievements tab and withdraw them at will. For the cost of these skins, they too should work in a similar fashion. Once purchased, a player should be able to withdraw any piece at will.
Totally agree with this thread.
Actually, they should behave exactly like the Heritage armour sets. How do Heritage skins behave? I always thought it was like the Zenith and Radiant/Hellfire stuff.
Heritage skins work the same way as Zenith, like you thought. both can even be selected from the wardrobe and used with no transmutation charge.
there was a bug that allowed people to get Hall of Monuments points, so Anet disabled access to the rewards a few days ago. don’t worry, I’m sure they’ll be back
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/info/updates/Game-Update-Notes-March-16-2015
pretty sure been there done that is based on the explorer achievements (Kryta explorer etc). you can get world completion (all wps, vistas etc) without uncovering all of the world, so you can get one without the other.
OP also go to the chantry of secrets, even if you’re sure you have it, your numbers are all right, and you have everything else, sometimes going back there fixes a few quirks.

the Music folder isn’t always created by default, so you can safely create one in the Guild Wars 2 folder in Documents. be careful though, dragging mp3s (or other music files) into the folder does not work, you have to create a playlist and put that in the Music folder.
for info on how to name your playlist, and what the accepted formats are, here’s a link:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Customized_soundtrack
Just a comment here. In fact, Minimap isn’t misaligned, it is where it always have been :P Yes, what is wrong there is it’s missing a background texture, what makes it looks like it’s floating. Look closely and you will see the whole skill bar is lacking a background. This issue is also what is making the level boxes to look black. Compare with old pics and it’s clearly noticeable.
I checked older screens I took, and the mini map is indeed higher now (attached mini map area from both screens. one I took last month (before) and the other I took today (after). there is a clear difference, at least in my game.

there was a heads up on the 13th when they posted in the news section on the site.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/changes-to-world-completion/
The WvW maps will now behave like other maps not required for world completion, such as Heart of the Mists
that kind of implied that there would be no rewards for completing them.
utility slots unlock at 13, 17 and 19 now, so technically you shouldn’t have access to them now (seeing as you’re level 12), which is why you can’t change them. when you reach those milestones you will be able to switch utilities in those slots.
hope that helps
if you are below level 15 you won’t see the map completion panel, and I think skill points (the blue triangle things) can be done at level 13. after level 15 everything will turn up.
welcome to guild wars 2!
if you put in 20c in the max price box, you can still click through to buy, and it will only cost you the listed lowest amount of 18c.
I did this yesterday with apprentice tuning crystals (I use them while leveling alts), and works with all other items that have a lower listed price than they ‘should’ have.
hope that helps
(edited by nottsgman.8206)
don’t worry, you haven’t lost the outfits, they are technically still on your characters, but you can’t access them, or see them. they are still being seen as equipped town clothes (which were disabled), but you can get them back.
just log in to the characters that you remember were wearing them and go to the Black Lion Trader (Armorsmith), there should be one by the trading post (especially in cities). the merchant will convert the outfits you have into that of the new system.
edit: at the Black Lion Trader (Armorsmith) click ‘What are town clothes?’, then ’I’d like to exchange my old town clothes’, then ’I’m ready. Upgrade all my town clothes’. you’ll end up with an outfit that you can double click to add to your wardrobe. you should also be given the toys they were holding (like the scepter).
hope this help

there is a reset timer on the event of about 20 mins. if someone else has opened the portal recently, then any other keys won’t open it until the event has reset.
hope that helps

there are only two discoverable recipes using pears Bowl of Blackberry Pear Compote, and Ginger Pear Tart. if you have discovered them both, pears will not appear in the discovery pane anymore, because there is nothing left to discover (the same happens with other ingredients).
hope that helps
http://gw2nodes.com/ is still fairly accurate, you just load into the map, say Cursed Shore, type /ip into chat and put that ip into gw2nodes.
hope that helps
the prominent white shine effect thing on character (which I happen to find incredibly ugly) has always been there when shaders are on high. the only ‘fix’ is to turn shaders down.
you can’t discover the Prickly Pear Pie recipe, you need to purchase it in Dry Top instead
