Add to this a looong list of bugs about mesmers… https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Mesmer-s-Bugged-Skills-Not-Updated-Anymore/
Could you give more details about that? Is it only Trading Post NPCs that’s missing or other NPCs too? What do you mean with missing? Just you don’t see their body but nameplates and icons are there or doesn’t you see any things related to them (like no icon, no nameplates, etc)? Clicking on the point where they are supposed to be does select something or nothing happens?
but when you get near them they do not give any credit.
Not sure if I’m misreading it but in order to get credit toward the achievement you must interact with the crystal, not approaching it only. Sorry if I didn’t get what you mean. When you get close to it it should show and interact [F] button (I can’t recall what text it shows).
Btw, that guide is for the last year’s release. Not sure if the locations are still the same, I still have to check it.
And thank you for fixing the Caledon Wurm instead of nerfing Feedback! It’s a miracle.
Yeah, I was afraid they would mess with the skill instead with the boss.
For those who didn’t see it…

Possibly related to this: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Trading-Post-totally-kittened-right-now
Update About 20 minutes after my post, my item is now showing up in the BLTC as items for sell. This was about 30 minutes total as I submitted an in game bug before referring the the forums.
As I said it may have been just an occasional downtime or glitch. At times it does happen. For those that have lost item I would suggest to use Customer Support for a better assistance.
please fix make sure your game works before sending it to other countries
Maybe Trading Post is just experiencing some hiccup, if so it may be back working in a few minutes. It already has happened other times and any online system can experience occasional downtimes too. Just be patient and give it a few minutes and if they are already aware about it they will fix it. Also, most likely you will have your items/gold back. If it doesn’t happen later then just contact support later.
Recently I have really experienced this issue. During Taidha event, after “trying” to pick up a powder keg during the stage before last I got stuck in place (I believe I did a ingame report). I couldn’t move to anywhere, only jump and turn around. Teleporting skills as Illusionary leap and such didn’t work. Due the heat of battle no one were able to give me a help (I even asked for any mesmers to use portals). Later then, when last stage of event was going on, a friend told me to use an emote. I used /sit and it did the trick, but I did it too late to give a single shoot and I ended missing the chest at the end.
Hehe I made this mistake too (not with this rune though). While underwater your helmet is “replaced” by your aqua breather, so both need to have that rune if you want the complete rune stack.
or if this is a result of the Mesmer Feedback bug.
What does it have to do? From what I heard the issue with Feedback only happens with wurm at Caledon Forest (sorry if it also happens at Bloodtide, I may be uninformed). Also, as I said in other thread, that skill isn’t the issue. The issue lays in the wurm.
Why should it damage the mesmer? That makes no sense. Just make it so the wurm can’t one-shot itself by getting hit with feedback from its own attacks. It’s just that simple.
Yup, not all mesmers out there should be punished as not all them do that on purpose to cause grief. The issue lays in the wurn, not in the mesmers.
The bug with the wurm is a bug with and in the wurm and not with the skill.
Once again it shows that option isn’t so clear and not user friendly… too many people has made a mistake about that and too many threads about this… I haven’t gone through it myself but it seems the option for “accepting other’s player progress” should be more clear about what would happen and make it more optional (some warning on that prompt maybe?) I can understand it’s meant to try keeping friends to play together, but if it leads to mistake and put me where I didn’t want to be, it surely annoys a lot.

Alright, no problem. Personally, I have never heard anything about this neither has it happened to me. Do you still see the guild in the Guild panel but with no members or has your guild even gone from your guild list?
By chance can’t you use a waypoint or something to get off there? Also, it could be good to take a screenshoot of that place so it will be easy to figure out what place you are talking about exactly. It would help devs and players to know more about it. Also, there is indeed a /stuck command but I believe it only sends some info to devs as it apparently does nothing at player’s side.
Maybe you better to contact them through Customer Support for a better assistance and as it may not be a bug in game.
We Mesmers won’t stop until we get our bug fixes
In all seriousness this does need to be fixed.
Lol funny but yeah, I do hope they fix the wurm and not the mesmer’s skill, mesmers already has too many nerfed and bugged skills… it seems the only advantage mesmers can get is with bugs like these (sighs).
Oh true, at a point you choose between rescuing Apatia or going to another place I can’t recall what. I did rescuing Apatia so why I didn’t know about Tonn.
That number is your current ‘district’, the copy of the map you are in. If another map has the same district number, you will be considered as being in the same world, and you’ll see its waypoint status.
Thanks for the info, I was wondering what that number stands for.
Also, another “side effect” of this with megaserver is pinpointing your party mate. Before last patch you could be able to see where they were (blue dot) in anywhere in world. Now you only can see it if you both are in the same map.
By chance do you keep seeing that loading circle and then nothing happens? If so, try to clear the game cache. Go to your temp folder (under windows vista and above it’s at something like C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Temp, or simply open Start Menu and type temp then press Enter) and look for a folder called something like gw2cache-{<some numbers here>} and delete that folder. Do that while game isn’t running or it won’t allow you to delete it.

Hmm I did that story part recently and I can’t recall about anyone called Tonn, neither Trahearne saying that. Also I can’t recall about any bugs or issues with that part.
You can’t really save Apatia, it gets too late and something happens to her and it will be you who will need to free her from her condition.
Hehe I made the same mistake. I had it enabled and I couldn’t figure out that colors was being changed because of that option. I was like “wt h these colors don’t change?” lol
On a related side-note, there’s an issue on Southsun Cove with Owain’s Refuge Waypoint. Most of the time when I want to go there, every waypoint in all of Southsun Cove appears uncontested, and I can just move there freely. However, on the off-chance that all contestable waypoints appear contested, why does Owain’s Refuge waypoint also appear contested? This waypoint could be contested way back during the Lost Shores living story update I believe, but has since then not been able to be contested anymore, so there is no reason to make this waypoint in particular appear contested to us.
Same happens with a few waypoints at Plains of Ashford. After patch around 95% of its waypoints appears as contestable but only around 90% or less gets really contestable (events can happen nearby and such). I have heard it’s due past releases where events would happen there and make it contestable. Thanks to the “working” search feature I can’t recall in what thread I heard about this.
And this thread is going deep into forum pagination while issue still exists… :P
For some reason I only really associate ‘Timestamp’ with chat messaging. Might be because I’m not a native English speaker
Hehe no worry, it happens.
No worry and welcome. Hehe, I just though it could be funny to see it. Maybe it’s just a glitch or does it happen constantly?
Oh? It would be nice to see a screenshoot of that, hehe.
Thanks I tried finding another topic on this issue but somehow missed that thread!
That’s thank to the “working” search feature :P
Just out of curiosity: did something change with those story steps? I can’t recall anything about traits being unlocked related to the story. I played those story steps with a mesmer and I can’t recall any special trait being unlocked. Could someone enlighten me about this please?
Yeah, I hope they fix the issue with wurm and not nerf the Feedback skill because of that. Mesmers already have too much nerfed and bugged skills… >.>
I think you mean “snow” huh? Hehe, anyhow bugs like these would be better to be posted in art map issues thread, that’s sticked in this forum: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Stuck-in-the-map-or-seeing-map-art-issues However I believe it’s just a glitch. I have seen those happening but they go away as you approach the area. But if it’s persistent so it may be a bug yes.
it looks be the same texture that appears in the glow from some weapons when in stealth. Were they using some of those, like items with Radiance skin?
Same happens with Guild panel, the Represent/Stand down button appears in a almost completely transparent area.
Yeah I can understand that feeling, but I still have hopes :P In fact, it feels like some old code was brought back up with feature patch… I see several old bugs returning too.
It started with April’s Feature Patch. Every time you hovers a dialog box (like deleting confirmation), a notify popup at right (like new skin unlocked) or simply when a screenshoot is taken an annoying glow shows up on mini-map. It’s exactly the same glow that appears when hovering Personal Story tracker at top rigth and it even glows where Personal Story icon is on mini-map.
Simply check each new screenshot posted in the forum after the Feature Patch, the most of (or all) them shows the glow on mini-map.
For issues like that it would be helpful to post some screenshot or tell more details then devs can know where it is. If you don’t feel comfortable publishing it for worrying it could be exploited then send an email directly to exploits@arena.net (although I don’t think it would be considered exploit).
There is a thread going on about this issue: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Caledon-Wurm-Killed-In-One-Hit-Major-Bug/
Welcome to Guild Wars 2 and I hope you enjoy the game . Any question or help you need, just ask in game or on forums.

Try to clear the game cache. Go to your temp folder (under windows vista and above it’s at something like C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Temp, or simply open Start Menu and type %temp% then press Enter) and look for a folder called something like gw2cache-{<some numbers here>} and delete that folder. Do that while game isn’t running or it won’t allow you to delete it.

In fact, https://forum.guildwars2.com isn’t a phishing site and its certificate is really expired. When accessing that URL I also gets a invalid certificated warning and looking into the cert details it says it was valid until April 25th, so expired. forum.guildwars2.com is a valid subdomain registered to NCSoft/Anet, but what happens is due the invalid cert warning the browser doesn’t redirect it to the proper subdomains (forums-[en|de|es].guildwars2.com). Ignoring the warning and accepting it properly redirects to https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu (in my case).
Some links on official pages already directs you to forums-[en|de|es].guildwars2.com, so why some people haven’t experienced this yet.
Yes it makes all sense. Posts get messed when some threads are merged and at times it gets confusing yes.
I’m told it’s FIREWORKS indicating success of some Guild activity or other. I have yet to actually see any activity OR any fireworks.
I don’t think it has anything to do with Guild activity as I have heard it while in PvP and within instances. Yes, it’s a very old bug that became more annoying around June last year. For some reason I had stopped hearing it on past months but now it seems to be back (as a lot of other old bugs).
Yes it’s annoying and a old bug that’s back. I had happened before (around December) and got fixed, but after April’s 15th patch it came back.
Ah yes I have heard about that bug, but I mean about items bought from vendors like with karma and such. Something in the tooltip telling it’s not salvageable could help new players to know about the limitation.
