Aren’t the living story teams composed of like 5 people?

Take one of those groups. Assign them as the PvP team. Every problem PvP has aside from balance? Solved within a month because there’s people working on stuff, since ANet doesn’t have a PvP team.

Right now the only way to play an ele right now is to land all your skills shots. Otherwise you don’t do much.

This has already been suggested a number of times. “Free the Mists”. People want it to happen.

Players join, players quit. No need for Xeph to make an “I quit” thread in the first place. Did Voz do it? No. Folly? No. Who cares.

They get trash talked because they BM. I think that’s known by anyone who plays PvP. Of course that act nice toward the ArenaNet team. Do you expect them to BM you guys too? I can honestly say I’ve never played a game before where another team has talked so much trash toward others until I encountered SYNC. And I know for a fact I am speaking for many GW2 PvP teams.

1. Get rid of the current meta. I know it’s being worked on with a major patch coming either tomorrow or two weeks from tomorrow.

2. Give us something to work toward. Not legendaries. Not skins. Give us qualifier point tournaments back. I want weekly, monthly, and a yearly tournament.

3. Paid tournaments. It goes with the qualifier points. We want something like gems that reward us better than the current “rewarding”.

4. Hire some top players to test things. Either that or a PTR.

5. Get your priorities straight with PvP.

I feel like it’s serious. I want it to be serious. But I have something in the back of my head saying he’s trolling.

I agree with the OP that for people just trying to get into PvP, it can be very hard.

Either put in a simpler game mode (TDM or even a MOBA style…wouldn’t that be cool?) or advanced tutorials.

Must say I agree with Darth. We’ve had nights where we’ve been on temple 7 or 8 times straight.

As european this anet decision is very lame to me, sending the defeated team to PAX. TP won fair and outplayed CC. If they had problems with residence of one of their members they should of told them that before the qualifiers so they could change something. It just seems another bad decision by arenanet( sad to say we are seeing alot of those lately). Theres no need for any discrimination, the important thing is that TP outplayed everyone else. Thanks for the feedback, all! The points that Davinci has brought up are definitely ideas we have discussed internally. I know that after the Invitational, we’re hoping to get more things going.

We just finished Solo Arena, which was something that was highly demanded before. We’re now moving on to the next project. We can’t just randomly conjure this stuff from thin air, so keep in mind that we do have a schedule, but will make adjustments if necessary.

I think from a competitive standpoint, the weekly, monthly, and yearly tournaments whether they be with qualifier points or not, should be your highest priority right now. Get the tournaments rolling after PAX so we’re not sitting in the mists for three months waiting for something to happen. ^^

If you guys were competent you would realize that the other side of the board has just as good of players as the side that wins.

For example.. I was in a game with Eurantien and Hman against Cruuk, Caed, Demise, and Voz.

Not unfair at all.

Voz (Walorx) has it correct. We don’t sync…it’s unintentional, just get lucky.

You make me laugh. We’re hardcore PvPers..meaning we play for more than 30 minutes a day.

I believe the devs are fully aware that if top tier players happen to queue within a certain time that some will get paired together, yes. I believe the entire PvP community is aware of such.

What I don’t believe many are aware of is that many of us that are high on the leaderboard don’t sync our queues. Perhaps some of them do. I, myself, do not.

My team? My team consists of myself, steamhawke, deku god, and ranko. None of which are on there.

Not queuing now? Work?

By the way..everyone that’s complaining and being bitter and mad really are making my day better by giving me a laugh.

@Silentshoes – No worries. I can’t control who I get with. And no, I was in my team’s TS channel the entire time I solo queued. I’ve never spoken to any of the people I’d been paired with aside from Eurantein once before.

@Krayiss – Don’t be so bitter. 4+ times? More like MAYBE twice. I am denying any syncing. Perhaps you should go back to third grade spelling and learn the difference between “your” and “you’re” before you make any assumptions. But yes, very lucky. However, I don’t choose what the matchmaker gives me.
