If you wanna know what gear someone use be social ask them. No need for another excuse to be judgmental towards those who don’t wanna run a certain build. About the magic find agree it don’t help you’re team at all. Might even be the reason you’re party wipe.

Why don’t you just go farm it? there are people who used 100~g in mats including me to get this and i would hate this change.

Naval warfare in wvw would be neat but i think it need a new map because the lake in center look a little too small for that and there could be like a dock you capture or something.
Guardian is the paragon and mesmer is the ritualist in terms of proffesion theme (paladin & spirits) and dervish doesn’t really fit in the lore.
The tomes wouldn’t be that bad if they actually worked the tome of wrath skill do same damage as autoattack with just a bit more aoe and courage have so long activate all the skills are 1 second to activate the full heal you can only use once and its 4, 1/4 second activate the casting time is so long you barely healed before it ends. if the tomes just lasted long like 60 seconds or something maybe its to much but one thing is for sure 20 is completely useless it has 3 min cooldown and is just crap.
It has class balance but to a lesser extent than pvp. And by balance i don’t mean 1 vs 1 wise i mean overall.

They are the worst elite skills in the game renewed focus is most useful to bad you cannot swap them with a utility skill.
I wish they made autoloot actually loot its autoloot but you still have to pick up lol.
Since there is no holy trinity whatever you choose you’re not going to be useless but all the classes has its pros/cons guardian have some neat support skills but i suggest just pick one that fit you’re playstyle.
If they were all zerkers they probably wiped on first group anyway nothing to worry about.

I think the human female light armors look great i like most of them but I’m a man.
I want flail for guardian with a skill to summon spinning hammers like the paladin in diablo 2 blessed hammers.
Just an idea on 3 skills it could have
One simple auto attack
Blessed hammer , This was keyskill on hammerdin and if buildt right you could make summon 7 or 8 at once.
Summons a magic hammer that spirals outward, damaging enemies
Vigor
Give swiftness and faster energy recovery for all nearby party members.
Merciful intervention good as it is it provide a quick escape route if you get focused so i don’t agree on the ground targeting. but the healing is still to low to actually help it heal as much as the average lvl 80 veteran mob hit with 1 attack and that is in my opinion absurd on that long cooldown.
I think the healing skills could need a buff even on 1227 healing powers higher than most builds this is what you get:
1565 merciful intervention 80sec cd
1698 hold the line 35sec cd
3270 sanctuary 120sec cd
Heres my suggestions to fix it
merciful intervention healing increased by 400%
hold the line healing increased by 250%
sanctuary healing increased by 50% and 60sec cd
well smoke screen is only 30CD but this is really balanced because guardian lack the mobility, decoy, burst,ranged, useful elite skills etc other classes have…

- You’re the tankiest class in the game, you don’t get decoy like the squisshies.

And whats you’re solution to this “problem” ? delete those 2 skills? then they could might as well rename it to noob class or meatshield class. And people would just take a couple extra mesmers to reflect projectiles instead. And it don’t protect against all ranged attacks only projectiles.

But its not, at all, unique to them.
- Mesmers have it.
- Elementalists have it.
- Thieves have it.
- Engineers have it.
- Warriors have it.
Problem is, that Guardians have it in spades, requires no investment to be better than every other profession’s version (some professions don’t have it as an utility but is stuck on a long cooldown mainbar (Engineer)), and is too long lasting in comparison to its brethren AND is stuck on the tankiest class in the game. Smoke Screen, Magnetic Shield, etc, all of these last for a couple of seconds at best with cooldowns that are equivalent to the Guardian cooldowns, except WoR and SoA last far, far longer than them. Hence why you can have two guardians layering them indefinitely.

I would love to see the option to dye weapons to whatever color you like and have like 2 or 3 parts on weapon you could dye.
They announced they are going to work on this later.

It would also be nice to have this in details/sound settings on options so that you could change down details if you’re fps decrease but turn it up again to what you’re hardware can manage easily.
I vote warrior because they have signet of rage , shield stance, bulls charge, bolas, 25k hundred blades hit, 20k killshot hits and a much higher hp.
I still think guardian is good but if i have to choose just 1 its warrior. And guardian excels in pvp because their not rooted to the ground when they use their combo.
Poor chap he grinded for so long just to get that sword well legendary is not for me.
There need to be more than 1 server because of the massive traffic of thousands of players.

Currently the masterwork back item is the best. the only reason why you would get ascended right now is agony resistance and its a long grind and cost almost 100g to infuse. here is a summary of why masterwork is better and rare (guild armor), the exotic version don’t have upgrade slot. After all the grind you go trough it would make sense if the ascended back items had better stats in my opinion.

I found a niche the staff is useful for. in fractal of the mists on the charr fractal the warriors hit crazy high and staff is useful to block them from hitting you with line of warding. if it would only be useful somewhere where else as well that would be great.
Retaliation is just useless now unless you have 30% boon duration and all traits set up for only retaliation problem you sacrifice too much other things for it.
They nerfed wrathful spirits which had a bug that could make it last as long as 1 min supposed to be 10 seconds then changed it to 3 seconds. its so useless the only thing i know would a little hurt is a engineer with a flamethrower. but once every 40 sec and still not enough to make a difference its a weak boon indeed. it just need more uptime that’s all.
I never had problems with lagg now the game is just completely unplayable screen freeze 3-10 seconds each time this started around 1hour ago I’m on seafarers rest.
And occasionally i get: The game client lost its connection the server please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and try again. (Code=7:11:3:189:101)
They should just give them the same hp as warrior and a viable ranged option.

a monk as in gw1 monk? have you even played the game more like how is this not a paragon. and engineer have more damage support like flamethrower turrets etc.

Unfortunately you’re right i got bored of pvp after the first week the game were released. And it feels like it doesn’t matter if you win or not.
in counter strike for instance striving to win feels like a goal.
I’m just wondering when you get armor/weapons in fotm its account bound? this make no sense to me. is it because some of them are different stats than the armor you get elsewhere? i could understand if it was just trinkets but its all 80 exotic account bound. out of one i salvaged i got 1x thick leather section(8copper).
