Its dead but there is always some players not enough to actually make teams tough if more people played it i would also. Pvp there is far better in my opinion but at this point you cant play pvp not enough players.
This is why i wish you could not res dead players then your odds would be greater against the bigger army.
they are doing this because of constant posts with “whats point of gear i have max already” but again its not wow.
why has none suggested just leave 1 of the working builds alone and fix broken skills so there will be more useful builds? this goes for all classes not just theif.
I like this change exotic will still be almost as useful.
I would like to see barbarian another heavy armor could make it similar to the one in diablo 2 but still keep it different from warrior
I’m leveling a theif so that I’m ready to reroll in next patch if they are going to nerf it even more i changed to sword after they nerfed greatsword so i might reroll when they nerf that as well. i don’t think they deserved all the nerfs they could had been done different but I’m glad they didn’t nerf save yourselves in pve.
I can already kill “OP” guardians with my theif in pvp so just go ahead and nerf it even more then I’m going to reroll.

Human elites absolutely sucks hounds of balthazar seem to be the most useful one.
I’m surprised this topic is still going. Mounts are not needed with speed buffs and waypoints, this is just the wrong type of game for them. We don’t need everything that WoW has, this isn’t WoW or any other MMO. It’s designed differently. That’s a GOOD thing.

i think this would be great as long as the costs would not be tremendously high and not to high speed buff so that the ones who choose not to use mounts wont be on a disadvantage.
do you wear full exotic? then that’s why try unquipping your armor and pick up a crappy weapon …problem solved

Giganticus Lupicus in arah as soon as you go in melee range you instant die no matter what your armor is this is just one of many examples.

I could see a weapon swap for eles/engies working so long as its out of combat. Swapping in combat is unnecessary .

Same I’ve seen it more and more and to be honest i don’t care if their kitten get less hurt if they hit alt+f4 or not but i care that i wasted a few seconds on the battleground trying to kill them then they do something as cheesy as that so you get no drops.
in pve scepter is fine in pvp absolutely not. you can dodge it by just walking it deal so little damage its laughable. In wvw i was defending a tower everytime somone got downed and if 1 person was resurrecting him when i attacked the downed person he survived. as downed you can’t move and what about those who are not downed? they never die against scepter alone unless their build is for damage only.
problem is sometimes melee just wont cut it. this is the case when defending in wvw against a bigger army or some boss fights in pve.
So i agree its fine in pve but not in pvp. that’s why all guardians in wvw use 95% melee.
Don’t get me wrong i understand that it would be overpowered if they made it stronger than ranger for example because of their melee abilities. but not able to kill player at all in its current state is just weak no matter what.

Do you know why they don’t have it? because of 4 attunements so you swap between 4 sets of skills instead which is an bigger advantage than those with weapon swap.
They should make it so they you still get drops when they close the game after downed problem solved.
rifle with 2500 range that pulses the animation in autoattack when downed on skill 1
then a more powerful railgun beam on skill 2 with 15sec cd ? just an idea
but agree the lack of ranged weapon really make them a lackluster especially in wvw its so easy to dodge the attacks you hardly kill anyone with it.
the scepter can deal an ok amount if all bolts hit but its still just 1200 range and all other professions outclasses it.

Yes the game need this occasionally it can be quicker to trade in la than tp while their at it they could add party search.
I personally think its enough singleplayer content the game was designed for playing in groups so don’t like this idea.
Party search would make it easier to group up for dungeons this is something they should implement.
What is find most annoying is quaggans able to destroy siege weapons across half the map.
I hope they wont limit Mesmer portals to not go trough walls. else this skill will just be less useful than any speedboost skill. i also wish they made other teleport skills go trough walls except those who don’t require a target such as Lightning flash. 5 professions have teleport skills so this would balance mesmer portals in its current state.
there is already wvw titles but they seem hard to reach maybe they could make it possible to display rank 3 and upwards.
I don’t think i will ever buy one because of this with that price when it takes 1000h+ of dedication and determination in farming it should absolutely be account bound.
Instead of more farming areas where you just kill same mob over and over i wish there was more groupevents,puzzles,dungeons,mini games,pvp arenas etc puzzles like the clocktower it was great need more of those.
Disagree since so many theif abilities is around stealth, its usually impossible to deal with stomping anyway.

I disagree first of all wvw is considered pve it has jumping puzzles and access to racial elites. in my server all the commanders except 2 is doing very well. i don’t think anyone pay 100g to get this cool blue dot in minimap they do it because they love wvw and they make a huge difference on the battlefield even when not particulary skilled.
because its fun? wvw is my favourite thing to do in gw2.
What motivated me to beat it was that i had done all the other halloween achievements but once i did it i stopped doing it by the time i did it i was so fed up with all the charrs blocking the way it toke me approximately 20-40 tries.

if they make new classes and you don’t like them you don’t have to play them its that simple. the more content they add the more interesting the game gets and guardian is not like gw1 monk more like paragon.
Its great in wvw only thing i want to see removed in wvw is ability to res dead players dead should mean dead not disabled for 10 seconds. then they must run back so there wont be only these all or nothing attacks you can also make a difference even when you loose a battle.
hopefully soon, i really want mounts for wvwvw
I think the game is fine without mounts but it would be cool if there was like some asuran apache siege machine or something flying vehicle in wvw.

as long as there is no clipping issues it would be a nice change.
I see this a lot in wvw i don’t think they hack its probably intended but it usually end up with me having to run away because every time i nearly kill them they vanish or i get killed.
they are working to get rid of these but the truth is they will always exist just look on other games and even gw1 its still goldsellers there. there only way to eliminate them is to shut down the game.

agree they can knock you down from cliffs you cannot? if you can and it break the game then just make it so they can’t either its so annoying to walk back because of that.
They already have just a few second stability every minute and elementalist only have 1 cc skill which trigger if they move wont make a difference.
its a problem that you can res dead players in wvw as well as aoe only hitting 5 targets. but when numbers turn even it come down to player skills i failed to capture garrison in a army of nearly 500 and more than 20 golems due to strong tactics/siege weapons but we came close apparently they had fully upgraded everything.
there is another solution also take off your armor and pick up a crappy weapon there you go its hard again.
If they do this then they should also increase the rewards for that area right now there is no reason why anyone would go farm in a lower level area when event rewards is marginal.
I don’t understand this either i personally think its to much soulbound things there should just not be any soulbound or choose to if worried about them getting stolen like the gw1 customize option which also granted you a 20% more autoattack damage.
Its still fun in low lvl areas when it scale everything in my opinion.
