The Fractals are more interesting in that the entire dungeon has a mechanic, as opposed to just the fight.

But lets say the shatterer , this is a big and epic boss so it should be hard to kill right? wrong.
All you have to do is go within range(1000~ units) and press 1 and you will autoattack until it die.
you can attack both when they revive but chances is they “heal” faster than you can do damage. so maybe if they scaled res time.
but what i really think should be removed in wvw is ability to res dead players. they should have to walk all the way back as in all other games.
Agree the only thing i use it for is swiftness.

Truth is that FOTM is the same grind system as WoW. Funny is that some people hate WoW but they are 30+ on that stupid dungeon. Anet made an error with that one. “No Grind” they said… yeah right.
All the dungeons is a grind lets say you go the speed route in cof it still takes you 40 runs to get full cof armor.

Warrior in GW2: 75 + 9 Burst skills + 15 skills in skill chains + 9 Banner + 5 Rampage + 8 downed/drowned = 121 skills, Even if you get only the 75 skills and exclude the “specials” they are more than double the amount of skills Warriors had in Prophecies…In conclusion, the “Guild Wars 1 had more skills” argument, is invalid
Yes but do you know what the difference is? in gw1 you can choose all the skills not just the last 5 that you can activate once per minute so that your build is mainly based on the weapon skills.
I traveled back to a server with minor population because they used to be amazing in wvw now their complete crap and i don’t want to stay here forever -_-

i have 278 condition damage and no duration and i do plenty of condition damage.

You are literally standing behind a turret and press fire every 3 seconds and shield every 5 seconds for like 5 minutes. i also don’t like when you have to jump around like a crazy frog not to get 1 shot. but i wouldn’t mind if there was some level of strategy involved.
Auto looting for wvw (ie true auto loot) would be great, don’t see it as a problem in pve, in fact I can see reasons why they would NOT want to bring it in for pve – think bots.
Remember bots don’t care if its boring they are going to loot anyway.
i hate that gem store affect all prices in tp why cant they just be cosmetic/soulbound and i wouldn’t mind being able to trade why not? no fee that’s great and if its a friend of you then its even better. the mailing system is NOT trading its highly insecure for obvious reasons.

I agree with you i was so excited to fight zhaitan the first time only to get dissapointed by buttonmashing attack button and shield button without any aiming or movement at all i almost couldn’t believe that was it? did they really made it so braindead? yep they did. and it toke me about 1 week to get there.
Everything except for:
1) The lack of playerbase
2) not be able to jump/dodge
3) not be able to play asurans
4) not meet players in missions.
5) no wvw
6) no random events/personal story
Note these are the things i think gw2 got right else i miss all features in gw1.

10k with autoattack that never miss thats not even as high it can go ive seen 30k. on top of that same armor and way higher hp.
its funny how someone can say “you cant have everything” when its in fact useless in pvp and the staff is so little range its almost like melee.
i thought all professions were all roles no? guardian were suppose to be the only profession that cant kill with ranged in pvp? OK.
And to be honest the auto attack damage on scepter is average but it doesn’t help when none of the attacks hit the target.
what i miss most about gw1 is ability to choose skills instead of 4 bad and 1 auto attack.

I agree there is a mission in the story where you fight risens with the navy would love to see this in wvw.
i think the game has way to much achievements , achievements such as kill 50 griffons/spiders/risen should be deleted and those like you get level 10,20,50 ++ crafting achievements and way more should just get deleted their pointless. but achievements such as winterdays ones that give a title after you done a couple of sub achievements is good.
just curious do you make a post like this every time you get beated in wvw? there is dozens of ways to kill every proffesion in wvw including theifs.
the next heavy armor class should be the barbarian

In wvw the problem is not downed state the problem is that you can res dead players lets say you loose a 5on5 battle but you kill 4 of them then the last 1 will resurrect the 4 others.
and you lost nothing all was for granted and someone is wondering why players zerg?
Few weapon skills is why i lost motivation of playing its simply to monotone and boring. I even changed main pve weapon but didn’t take long until i got bored of those skills also. I think fun should be a more important factor than balance when it comes to the point where you are just ending up hitting 1 over and over hitting the same target.

Its fine people are looking for decent players but if your not level 80 and they tell you burn in **** or worse that’s NOT ok why cant they just say it in a nice way or don’t have anything nice to say then don’t… I personally have not encountered this since I’m 80 but i see most players are looking for level 80 in most dungeons.
But what if i only have friends in 1 or 2 servers and they are empty some places and want to switch i wouldn’t want to pay are you able to just hop on another server?

I’m curious if when server guesting comes you will be able to jump over to whatever server you like or must someone guest you? since i rather not pay every time.
None like hackers and most likely someone from their team will report them people wanna win because their good not because of cheats.
Currently WvW uses the same skills as PvE, so PvP balance changes do not have an impact on WvW.

Because its a pve area the objectives is part of world map completed.
This is what mesmer is all about confusing and draining energy from his enemies if you think mesmer here is bad you would hate it on gw1 it was all about shutdown here its like a combo of elementalist and ritualist.
The philosophy behind the design is to prevent pvp turning into meta game only for 5 invoke elementalists. which must be on ventrilo, and must have a very high rank, and must synchronize their attacks, to win just like gw1 HA. so pvp turn difficult for new players to learn.
If its going to be better than exotic don’t you expect the new slot to help outside the new dungeon? else it would be waist of money.
same like the concept as long as class balance wont be based around that because there is going to be a lot of ragequit.
This is the best you can hope for with no subscription and to be honest they do a great job.
