I assume you are talking about Legendary Imbued Shaman ? On that fight you want to stay on max range 1200 until he spawn adds.
Then you watch what direction the boss is going you put you’re shield of avenger there.
First get down the shield stacks on the boss.
Then you put you’re wall of reflection up and pull adds there with binding blade and try to kill them as fast as possible. The faster you kill them the easier and repeat.
Its good to trait for support but gear for dps.
Throw some valkyrie in there if its hard with low hp.

I love how all these old meta players with 60% guardians 20% warriors 1 -3 ele / necros now get their kitten handed to them when they cant just run around press sy and staff 1-1-1-1-1 these players are the worst ones in the game even pve players knows how to deal with static field without unlimited stability.
I made 3 stacks of lootbags from last matchup 232 of them which were after the nerf.
We have dealt with bigger zergs than ourselves just fine.
Adapt or go edge of the mist where you wont be missed.
Its a melee skill thats the tradeoff 3 seconds is pretty short anyway.

Stability changes are meant to balance PvP not WvW
Colin said somewhere one of the idea behind the stability stacks was that in large scale fights, they found it lame that one guardian popping SYG meant five people could walk through any number of static fields, fear walls, mesmer pulls, etc.
Guess what meta havent changed at all i still see 60% of zerg is guardians 20% is warriors telling others to reroll because their class sucks.
Inb4 guardians tell you to l2p and OP META

I think its hilarious that almost universally people don’t what the holy trinity, and yet almost as universally people say the pve in this game is boring. Running nothing but zerk limits your builds way more than the holy trinity would. I find this frustrating. I don’t see why roles can’t be a thing in the game, even if it’s not holy trinity. Condi, bunker (not tank), control (things like fears). I don’t see why things like this can’t be built into the mechanics of a dungeon, instead of just “everyone has to do the exact same thing to survive the fight” which leads to people just wanting to run zerk to get it done faster. Maybe toss out optional bosses like Viscidus from Temple of Ahn’Qiraj in WoW. He required frost damage to beat him. One of the more unique bosses.
Edit: And combo fields! One of the most awesome feature in this game and almost no one uses it. kitten shame.

Stacking in a corner doesn’t solve things very well
Support is VERY strong in this game, arguably stronger than most trinity games. The fact that you can COMPLETELY negate bosses like Alphard with proper reflect rotations.
Control could use a little help, it’s effective but not enough for most PUGs to really learn to utilize it, I think the new defiant changes should help that hopefully as it will require less organization and just everyone being on the same page of “hit your CCs when he does X”.
In fractals you really only need reflect skills on harpy one which 7 out 8 classes can do people seem to forget that they think its only guardian.
But still i don’t want holy trinity. Im going to stick with this until black desert comes.

Id like to add sword leap only on moving targets there is no reason to leap on skill 1 on stationary targets it just makes it anoying to use.
All this talk about trinity vs all-DPS is just hogwash. How does a system in which everybody fills one of three specific roles offer any more freedom than a system in which everybody goes DPS?
Because if elementalist have highest dps that is meta and the others are obsolete.
The difference between 64 bit and 32 bit is how much memory can be addressed and loaded at once. 32 bit still can use all your cores.
I know but occasionally im stuck on 20-30 fps with 40% cpu load in world bosses and wvw and that is the bottleneck. Basicly i have a monster of a gpu which does nothing.
64 bit client multicore client would be good. 32 bit can only use 2 as far as i know which is 50% load on my system. Also more pressure on ram and gpu less on the cpu.
One thing you could do is optimise the game for physx.
If you add dx12 then please make backwards compability.
This game will never take skill like it did in gw1.
They will nerf damage even more so its nothing but 1,1,1,1 zergfest.
Its every man for himself anyway compared to other games there is almost nothing you can do to compliment other builds its just dps.
Because the damage is nerfed to the ground which is pretty much the only thing a warrior can do so now i play elementalist instead.

one good d/p thief will shut down any glassbow. shatter mesmers 50-50. engies 50-50. there are lots of counters to glassbow.
You havent even tried the build and you are already drawing these conclusions…
These thieves run when they get hit 1 or 2 arrows its not a big deal they only counter you if you are far away from you’re allies so they can keep dodging until you run out of cooldowns. The rock dog will protect you from their initial hit too.
Teamplay is the key here when players are busy fighting you’re team it usually just take 1 rapid fire to finish them off.
I hope they just buff warrior so i can go back to that instead of playing this in pvp.
i’ve seem some odd claims: such as instantly one-shotting anyone from 1,500 meters, no chance of survival, and even one-shotting bunker guardians(in what scenario can a bunker guardian die?), but choosing a ranger over a warrior in pvp due to effectiveness? that’s just absurd.
shoutbow is a better longbow ranger than any ranger. it doesn’t melt in ¼ of a second, it brings significantly more personal and party utility, and its melee is actually dangerous enough to cause people to run away.

If you pvp don’t play warrior fortunately it only take 2 minutes to reroll.
In pve in its current state elementalist is king.
The weapon i see would fit thieves best is spear. It could be a low damage very fast defensive weapon with one demand defensive skills that do more damage and counter attack enemy skills with no stealth but perhaps 1 or 2 evades.
Also one 360 cone cc skill to knockdown enemies.
Warrior is hardly top 3 dps maybe unbuffed. But in theory only mesmer have weaker dps and if you could keep up 3 wardens which you cant unless whatever you are fighting is not fighting back it would be the weakest. Its not as easy to play as people make it out to be either you don’t have much tools for defense. High hp means nothing.
Why guardian group healing were so weak, Until i realized there is only 1 role.
The worst players are not players that play badly but those that treat the game like a job to make an income in and anyone that slows down their income is just a speed hump.
So you rather have somone with 200 dps camping from range getting downed every min which dosen’t talk than some semi competent pugs in you’re team?
I know i didn’t spend 300-400g on gear to carry bad pugs.
People do explorable mode for money or tokens when you done it once you rather get the job done more efficient next time.
This is a skirmisher build not a duel build there are builds who can trash thieves in duels too which are not considered viable in competitive level.
I played theif for 1400hours so i know all about its limits.
Thats why i play ranger. I was wondering where all these pro players that somehow lock down rangers and down them like cardhouses are rank 55 and havent seen them yet.
Or how about when you buy extra supplies in the camp you can chose caravan , Dolyak carry more supplies juggernaut is extra though , mantis have cannon , skale is faster.

The game is designed so that engineer is superior in pvp in every way.
Pretty sure if a engineer is not best in the esport thing they announce they will nerf everything else. The class i hate the most its not hard to play it just dosen’t fit the genre.
I will not be playing pvp in any form until this happens, ZERO invisibility. This mechanic absolutely without a doubt has ruined the pvp game for me. FLUX IT!
Its just easymode. Im feeling bad when im playing this because its so easy i would say its cheesiest build after minnion master If you learn to use terrain to you’re advantage , kite you’re enemy and snipe the targets you’re party mark its really strong. Its doing better on maps with less structures blocking you’re line of sight. I got champion hunter from sniping players with longbow using sword/dagger on swap its not a joke.
Ok lets look at this from a pvp perspective you want to buff a subpar pvp weapon (immobile while channeling HB, difficult to land WW due to lack of “corners”, weak burst) and then complain it’s too weak for pvp when you have access to axe and hammer to fulfill the same role and more? Bow/hammer do a much better job at stacking long-lasting might than buffing FG.

“axe and hammer Bow/hammer” these weapons can’t use Forceful GS this trait is made for GS, yes blasting fire field is easier, reliable, doesn’t need a target and buffs nearby allies.
FG on the other hand needs a target, need to crit, self buffing and unreliable but still, a single blast finisher equals “(3 GS crits) x 4 times”

still this buff won’t change much in any area of the game but to keep GS level same as before the indirect might nerf which GS warrior is not to be blamed about.ANet instead of nerfing celestial amulet or the professions/builds that abuse it they instead chose to nerf a core mechanic of the game since release, FG got indirectly nerfed for literally doing nothing.
The logic is you simply have to accept that all weapons wont be equally effective in all areas of the game without making them identical. Anyways warriors were not the only ones affected by the might nerf.

Yea 11k on a glass cannon that is pretty weak for something that is suppose to be a burst skill. You have a pet warriors have adrenaline too bad its been nerfed so much.
I’m not sure where you are getting your numbers, but the damage increase from exotic to ascended zerker/assassin gear is a 20% overall increase. (in lvl 80 content)
The only two sets that have a 5% dmg increase are soldiers and rabid gear, since they rely on a single main dmg stat.
20% increase in stats doesn’t equal 20% dmg increase. A complete set of zerker exotic vs a complete set of zerker ascended = 9-10% dmg increase by itself. When you add up all the buff in group content (might, vulnerability, fury, banners, etc), then you reach a boost of 5%.
1003/1087*10 = 9,227230910763569% Increase in stats. There you go genius.
If you like the playstyle on engineer then that would be better because there is not so many of them and they can do everything the guardian can elixir h for protection, elixir u for wall or reflection, elixir c to cleanse conditions and lot of healing.
GvG was the best pvp mode in gw1 imho i hope its not going to be another stack 50 guardians on top of eachother and press 1 like the so called pros do in wvw.

Interestingly, twice Colin mentions “our no-grind philosophy for Guild Wars 2”.
It appears ArenaNet really believes their own Manifesto, when the same Colin said, “We don’t want players to grind”.
We just need to let them know that, between Ascended items and slow dungeon rewards and Legendaries and the new level-based unlocks and the new trait system unlock and etc etc, well… Their “no-grind philosophy” has been extremely grindy.
It’s definitely a grind and it’s definitely not good, let’s hope that with the expansion coming they won’t add new grinds and will realize despite what they said in this announcement that this isn’t acceptable.
What you call grind in gw2 is the reason why i love it and keep playing it there are a lot of achievements i haven’t done because i don’t enjoy doing it. See thats a choice that is not going to limit the endgame in gw2.
I got my money worth in this game and im definitly going to buy the expansion.
Don’t take it so literally by grind they mean doing the same boring stuff over and over not that its not going to take time. In archeage you have to kill 500 mobs in the same place for a hasla weapon while competing with many other players for the mob then we are talking about grind. I don’t mind if something takes time to finish especially if its only for asthetics. which it is they say they are not going to add new tiers of gear.
These people who see zerker as a problem don’t realise their fighting mobs with 50-200k and bosses with up to a million hp and are sitting there with petty 150 dps and think they are saving the team. You can solo every dungeon with zerker.
I don’t mind if people use some peices of assassin and celestial but when people run full pvt and nomad which scale up the boss and escalate the risk of getting 1 shot then they bring nothing to the team infact the whole dungeon go faster without them.
You can play how you want…
However don’t join a zerker only group and expect to get carried.
In games with trinity the tank have ways to hold aggro there is no such thing here.
Get you’re zerg together and wipe them if you are too bad to do that then you deserve it.
WvW should be about fighting players not just ppt.
