There is nothing in this game i haven’t done with berserker in a group at least.
People make things seem more complicated than it is when they say you need to run full bunker else you are just dead weight for the team.
Ok if you want to make things take 10 times longer increasing the risk of getting 1 shot by a boss or take more aggro because you have more armor then by all means.
Healing power is useless with 1000 healing power you only heal for abysmal amount depending on heal skill but 100 more healing wont save you.
CC is useless. Whats the point if you can just stack in a corner so everything stack up and you can kill them fast. And whats the point when all the hard bosses is immune to cc. Conditions is useless bosses have reduced condition duration and the cap is 25 which is still nowhere close to dps on direct damage.
Full berserker is not only best for dps its best for defense as you will take less aggro and things die before they have a chance to hit you.
I enjoy it but i cant play only 1 class or i get bored really fast.
One thing they could fix is bosses where you are immune as long as you are autoattacking with ranged because he is moving so slow with melee range that he will never hit you. The ones that are just around in open world is fine but at least in dungeons that is just lazy design.
Examples of bosses they did right , Lupicus, Liadri, Tequatl and holographic scarlet where all really good.
Not sure about mesmer CC, but condi mesmers definitely need some adjustment and toning down. At least in small/roaming fights and 1v1. Infinite stunbreak/teleports, stealth, and continuous offensive pressure.
Thats their only pvp build. They nerfed shatters , confusion and soon they will nerf vigor.
mesmer autoattacks is terrible as well. They nerf PU then there is no reason to use a mesmer in pvp no more.
In gw1 you had 2 elite instance with 12 players it was awesome.
There was also a pvp arena with 12 on each team.
And a timed mission with 16 players.
But they wont do that because they players would have to wait around for too long.
That’s why they vent from 8→5 players in the first place.
As long as you have to pay 200g to move anywhere its going to be really unfair for some servers. I still miss the time when there was free transfers everywhere. And not to bandwagon to the winning servers i didn’t do that. I just liked to play on different servers and there is not 1 server that play the same way. In my server the meta is running hammer warriors its getting pretty boring and its so easy even cof is harder.
In primetime we can get some good fights.
That’s pretty much the only time i play it anymore.
Our server have plenty of coverage in fact i think its too much.
We wipe their main zerg 2 or 3 times and they give up then it become boring again.
Give outmanned buff bots that fight for them or double hp or something.

Sustaining in longer fights is what warriors are about we get no neat tricks like stealth ect. I for one think the passive nerf needs an active buff and if anything warriors need a damage nerf since I can go full tank and literally just never dodge take everything then Eviscerate for 10k.
Warrior is already one of the lowest dps classes in the game something tells me you don’t even play one.
before anet nerf thieves on any they should nerf warrior first and buff guardians

Guardians are meant to stay until the end. If warriors cant run they will die because all they got in defense is their low regen and a few seconds immunity.
Stop trying to turn warrior into a guardian if i wanted a slow guardian i would just play it.
Don’t do it you will be a free kill. Either that or stalemate. You should get Atleast 70% crit dmg 25% crit chance and 1,7k power. On my warrior i use full zerk everywhere and it works good a tanky hambow warrior is np. Either they run to safety or they die.
pvt is better in zergs roaming is different.

Gw2 was advertised to have a soft trinity.
Control,Damage,Support but any class could play them. The truth is that if you spec for anything else than damage you are just a handicap to the group.
Overall i think the changes is for the better i main warrior but these buffs make me want to experiment with builds on my ele blinding ashes should make up for how squishy it is.
Eles got the most powerful buffs i think but really how many do you see in pvp? zero. The warrior buffs were a little meh as well. I suppose to faster attack rate is good on condi builds but the others are just not worth it compared to the ones we already have. I guess the 100% crititical burst can be good for tanky builds with low precision but most that go 30 points in strength would take berserker power instead. The phalanx strenght one is really cool but what warriors put 30 points in tactics? none do. But we don’t know all the changes yet there can be minor or major traits to compliment these.
Can they at least cut most mobs hp in half? not so fun to fight veteran mobs with 100k hp that kill you in 2 or 3 hits anymore if they nerf damage.
Change it so that you gain heal just on hit on HS. Thats my 50 cent.
If i wanted that i would play theif not warrior.
Its not game changing but conditions are stronger now but still not worth using(in PvE).

The low skill floor of the profession makes too many thief ignore the issue with their profession.. this is why they should never write L2P.
wvw was never meant to be balanced. If you want balanced and fair pvp go spvp thats where they balance the professions. Of course then can hide thats what they do.
In the feature you can use pvp armor in pve? so if i buy a t3 armor now i can use it in pve later?
I would suggest the warrior proffession be deleted, it would be good for humankind as a whole as playing one obviously alters your brain in a bad way.
As an alternative I suggest you delete your warrior and play something else do your remaining braincells a favor.

Then don’t roll a heavy armor profession? In most every game that gives a crap about balance, heavy classes are slow tanks. Only anet seems to think tanks should also be heavy hitters with superb mobility.
I don’t know what games you have played but in most games warrior is a dps class.
Lancers,paragons,paladins,guardians,protectors you name it are usually tank.
Also you should know by now there is no trinity here.

For lvling just use something that give u a little power and put 10 points in arms so you can use deep strike this is good early on then just use signets you should have close to 90% crit chance.

Sorry but 5 warrior groups are not as good as you seem to think they are.
That’s why they need to be buffed.
The combat in gw1 just had a lot more depth than here.
It was more balanced not only because of the trinity but because there was more skills to chose from and the dual class system. The combat here pretty much boils down to good dps and bad dps. a bunker in pvp survive as long as a player with kevlar in a fps.
It toke 7 years to develop this. Its easier to learn the game now for sure.
But why? gvg in gw1 had potential to become a esport what anet is striving for here.
If you did release an expansion in gw1 i would buy it and enjoy it and pretty much ignore gw2 until i was bored of it.

It is true. Mobs suck at killing berserkers. If you do not trust me, go into WvW and try to follow your zerg in berserker. You most likely will be dead in that very first engagement. You won’t be there for the second, third and fourth engagements. :P

Erm… I hope you’re not referring to PvE at all and intend to be interpreted from a PvP standpoint only because if not you’re making a fool out of yourself. Just saying.

This was incredibly frustrating on marionette i toke more than 20 tries to beat scarlet and i never failed the champions myself i got downed 2 or 3 times because i spawned on the boss when i entered the portal so i know it was not my fault i failed.
When i beated it i never did it again. It was fun the first 5 tries and i was about to give up.
a) 18k base hp (unrealistic i know.)
b) buff tomes
c) buff shield
the fotm rerollers are killing the game and Anet doesnt do anything about it

It take max 2 minutes to reroll in this game there is no reason why you would use a build where you lose every time.
Didn’t even knew they had burst damage guess they die too fast for me to find out.
Guardian is best to stay alive but i still prefer engineer because they can assist in the fight more. If you can’t get rid of the enemy you’re gonna lose
I’m just rank 30 though but at that point engineer seem to do a equal good job.
Gw1 is dead and the lore from gw1 is fading get over it already just accept it for what it is.
This is gemstore wars 2. Not even the same developers that was working on gw1.

Warrior is one of my favorite chars you will be critting 50k with gs as well as being quite solid
How about the basic attack? I don’t know if its just me but i find it to be one of the weakest autoattacks only guardian staff is weaker and condition weapons.
I feel like izerker die too fast to make up for the damage on skill 1.
Can’t activate any skills solved by dieing happens randomly(not same as skill lag).
If i saw a group like this i would join it in a heartbeat. Not saying AP determine skill but the most terrible players I’ve seen had less than 3k. There are however better ways to find out if they are experienced players but that include playing with them for a couple of minutes.
PS: I’M NOT ELITIST AND I DON’T ASK FOR AP!
Love these suggestions. I personally don’ think we need more skills like chaos storm which is just deal damage = the end. What i would like to see is more punishing skills like they had in gw1. Wastrel demise could do exactly what it did in gw1. So it would be like this this skill do power/3+333 damage for every second this hex was on which means it will only do max damage if it stay for the entire 5 second duration. but it will be canceled if they use any skills. sounds extremely strong right? well its not just imagine 1 auto attack its gone. It will synergy good with other punishing skills.
I just wish there was 1 weapon set focusing on punishment.
Which means if there is nothing to punish it will deal close to no damage.
But if there is enemies will have a very bad day

4s Moa on 60s CD. I can guarantee you that a LOT more Mesmers would run with that one, rather than the handfull hotjoin baddies that use it these days.

You do realize its not a 10 second knockdown skill right? you get a escape skill you can even kill the Mesmer while in moa morph its nothing op about it. but it could need a duration decrease still. When is mesmers ever using this skill ? rank 10 in hotjoin maybe that must be the only place.
Whenever i go to wvw all i hear is zerkers are rallybots go staff bunker guard or gtfo.
Complainers wont be happy until warrior is deleted from the game.
Btw most are rabbit rank in pvp.
They already nerfed retaliation many times its useless.
