Guys… Guys…. This is a client problem … not a windows version problem. I have seen PLENTY of people posting in the last day or so that already have windows 64 bit with pc’s that would make nasa jealous that are getting the crashes as well. The game is unplayable for many and will remain so until they fix it.
This may be the time for the people that cant play to start demanding a fix or a refund for not only the expansion, but also the core game, since it is no longer playable.
For the support team to start spouting that you need to upgrade from windows 32 bit to winows 64 bit, there is no other fix (like a few have said that they replied to thier support tickets) is just unacceptable.
I can play.. my wife cant. It is a client issue. Running the repair tool, reinstalling etc.. does nothing. We never had a problem before these patches.. and she cant play after them.
I have crashed myself, with the bounchy chest bug in the new zones etc, but for those there is a work around (set your UI to normal and you wont crash) for the rest there isnt… yet.
There is also bugs in zone terrain that boot you, auto loot will cause you to crash etc.. so just be patient for another day or so.. and lets not get into a kittening match about whos pc is the best or what windows version is best..
If they have a 32 bit client.. then they support windows 32 bit and will eventually fix it… if they dont then they can start dipping into pocket and start refunding peoples money for a defective product.
yes, this is a common issue right now. Tons of people crashing every 5-10 minutes with no fix in sight. Someone posted earlier on another thread that he filed a ticket and the response was that he should upgrade his pc from 32 bit system to 64 bit.. which makes no sense because they still have a 32 bit client. She cant upgrade to a new pc right now, its just not an option and this doesnt make any sense as well, because i have seen plenty of people posting they are crashing and they are on windows 64 bit already.. But for a rep to tell someone to upgrade rather than pass along the information so it can actually be fixed is just unacceptable.
My wife is on 32 bit windows and shes getting the crash as well.. every 5-10 minutes.
Hope they fix it soon.. shes getting really mad… already telling me that we should be asking for a refund since she cant play.
so wait… they are actually telling everyone … they meaning the anet support team… that we should all go out and buy a new PC so we can run the 64 bit client, when they still offer a 32 bit client just because they don’t want to fix it…

The kitten game runs the exact specs as it did before the patch and there is a problem with the code.. not the system running it. If they offer a 32 bit client, they need to support that client or they can just start handing out the refunds to all the people still running this on a 32 bit client.
fix it.. OR REFUND MY WIFE HER MONEY for the game AND the expansion she cant play.
Can we get a dev or someone to make a statement on this? This is TOTALLY unacceptable!

Game still crashing every 5-10 mins for players on 32 bit systems due to a memory leak or something with the client. Have reinstalled, repaired, reset winsock.. everything and nothing works. Please fix asap.. tons of people haven’t been able to play since launch (my wife being one of them)
yup.. me wife is on a 32 bit system and is getting the crashes still. The game is totally unplayable even in old areas. She cant even finish one vinewrath now without crashing. She logs in, everything looks good, 6-10 mins later (if that) the game just closes and she sends a report, if it will let her.
We have tried reinstalling, running the repair tool, changing winsock etc.. It is the CLIENT crashing and it did not happen until this update.
God i hope they get it fixed soon.. she is steaming that she paid 50$ more for this game and now she cant even play the old stuff.
my wife is running the 32 bit client and it is crashing for her about every 10 mins or so. A few have posted that there is a memory leak which may account for this crash, but so far anet has only said that people with 32 bit systems need to upgrade to 64 bit systems… which for us isnt an option right now. She has run the game fine since release on this pc… and the beta also was fine. It has just started crashing since release. She cant even play in the regular zones without the crashes, so it isnt just the new zone, its the client itself.
Please fix asap… or start giving people refunds.
bouncy chests are crashing the game for people who run the UI in anything but normal size. I usually run it in large, and if i click on a chest it instantly crashes the game.
32 bit client still crashing every 10 mins or so for some. I can play fine on 64 bit windows but my wife on 32 bit desktop windows crashes every 6 to 10 mins.
I am running OK on my laptop running windows 10 but my wife who is on a desktop running windows vista is still crashing.. could it be as someone suggested before… that the 32 bit client is messed up?
She is able to log in and play for approximately 4-6 mins then the game crashes.
Can we please get a fix soon for this… she would really like to play launch weekend.

this is because they put the download on the same server as the game is running. most people (including me) are only getting 1k download speed for the patch. this is stupid.. they got our money for the game and the new expansion.. cant they afford to drop in a separate server for the updates???? It is really going to hurt come the 23rd…!
Did they forget to feed the hamsters? Are they running this on a 14.4k bps modem? The C64 overheating? Tandy got a green screen?

Never been on a game that slows the update downloads to 1k lol.. this is silly.. almost 2 hours for a patch.. what is this, 1990?
fixed as well.. it seemed to stop as soon as the announcement notice in the corner went away. This may indcate that there was a problem with the way the UI shows on the right side. I say this because the way the XP dust went from the UI right log to the xp bar during the first beta weekend was also causing problems, and they removed it..

there isnt any crash or anything, its just a horrid lag and reload everytime i enter underwater…
it isnt my pc.. its the game. something in the patch broke it..

yeah this is still happening to me. It is game breaking for a lot of areas, especially in WVW.
I tried several different things including a repair tool run, updated graphics drivers etc.. everything is up to date.
I have noticed also that when loading in the UI seems to take a second before it loads fully, longer than it used to.. Dont know if it is related, but might be a clue.
I dont expect any kind of fix this week, as PAX is this weekend… my guess would be monday or tuesday at the earliest.
also i did a test.. swimming… every time i dive, it does it. The screen goes black EVERY time you dive under water… even if your swimming on the surface and dive down. Prob happening for everyone but not a lot have noticed it yet because they dont get in the water, those that only hang out in silver wastes or in town for example.
Getting really tired of black screen when i go in water, especially in WVW.. saw a few posts but no replies yet as to a fix or that it is even noted as a bug.
Can we get some kind of conformation on this as a bug or that a fix is coming soon? It is really game breaking for any area you have to swim through, especally WVW.

i am getting this also. black screen when entering water and it lags like hell when the screen shows up about 10 seconds later, like the entire game has to load the zone again. Posted in bug forum but no replies.. PLEASE FIX
next time it happens just wait about 10 seconds.. mine does the same thing when entering the water since patch and then it comes back about 10 seconds later. i can see my curser and thats all. Then after the screen pops back up, there is a TON of lag like everything is having to load again from the HD.. never happened before this patch today. Please fix.. makes WVW and anything else with water in it unplayable.
getting a black screen when going into the water in WVW. Game stops as if it is loading something, black screen with only a curser and then about 10 seconds later the scene comes back but there is a TON of lag like its having to reload the entire game after the black screen. Please fix.. this kills WVW if you have to swim anywhere
I am getting the exact same bug.. but since my load time is longer the black screen lasts longer. When i enter the water, everything stops like the game is crashing, then pure black screen with only my curser, and then after about 10 seconds the game pops back up. Its like it is having to load the underwater scene or something like when changing zones. Only started happening after todays patch, never had this before, and i hope they fix it soon because it is a game breaker in wvw.

They all use the old trait set up.. even the new revreant.
Dont know if they new trait lines will be activated when the official beta starts in an hour or so, but i would doubt it since they trait lines they gave us in the slip up this morning were already set. I didnt try and refund talents for fear of screwing something up
the reason i ask is that she was afraid to delete the toon and make another for fear of losing the slot.
my wife was able to get into beta for a few moments this morning and make a character of the new class… the thing i am wondering is when it comes back up (at the scheduled time) will you be able to create and delete characters to test the new skills for each class or are you limted to one class for that beta slot for the test period.
ok.. people seem to be missing the point so let me rephrase my statement…
My ranger can 1 shot a regular mob with #2 skill in 5 seconds…
This is not the same as the stacking damage from mesmer sword for example..
This is not “burst” damage with all signets popped.
This is a single shot that will down almost any regular mob before my pet even gets to it.
Now.. as for mesmers.. to get any high numbers.. you have to channel GS 1 skill.. and even on a regular mob, you can reach 10,000 damage.. but it takes FOREVER to kill the mob that way.
The damage is not the same, yet Anet claims that all classes are capable of the same dps/tank/heal roles and should be equal.
Someone said that it is stacking damage… if that is so, they both should be downing the mob with just the mesmer a few seconds longer for the inital build up of mind wrack.
This is not the case.
Even warrior GS skill 2 or whatever it is wont down a mob that fast.
Anet said that when they “fixed” mesmers they would retain thier damage.. this is clearly not the case and after a year and a half i thought something would have been done to level the playing field.

yes im aware of that.. but when my ranger can stand at range and down a champ solo… and my other toons get killed almost instantly and do very little dps.. im kind of wondering if i am bugged or if that’s just the way the game is now. If i am bugged.. i have been since i came back and my toon hit 80.. ranger demolishes everything in SW and almost never dies.. while every other classs that is forced to stand within the 600 to 1200 range takes a beating. ONE SINGLE CLASS SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SOLO CHAMPS!!
look around in SWs almost ALL the toons there are rangers… the ones that are actually killing stuff fast. The rest are just people running through getting tags because they cant kill anything.
oh almost forgot.. i have experimented with necro also.. only class that comes close to ranger in dps with DS on.. but still no where near 24k and 1 shotting mobs. I have also tried all weapon variations, skill trait lines, sigils and runes.. and ranger #2 skill still blows all of them out of the water.. 1 shot a kill.. or be forced to play another classs that takes 1 to 2 mins to kill something.. seriously…
I am a returning player having been gone a year and a half.
Since returning, i have revisited all my toons, and i have a 80 of every class except thief (just dont like the playstyle) and have noticed something troubling, which i will explain in a second.
I play elementalist for wvw as support staff healer… but in my down time my wife suggested that i roll a ranger for silverwastes events.
Now here in lies the problem.
I loved my mesmer.. it was my first toon and i like the idea of the clones etc, but when playing in silver wastes, it takes him a full minute or more to down any mob (non elite etc.. just the random mobs)
My ranger however can use the longbow #2 skill and down any random mob in about 5 seconds (about how long it takes the skill to channel)
I tried some experiments with mesmer and gs damage scales when using mind wrack and on some mobs i can get up to 40,000 damage or higher before im forced to move thus resetting the tick. Yet with ranger i can get up to 24,000 damage on one skill and it almost downs the mob.
My question is… why does mesmer channeled dps stack (the numbers add up but the damage is still just 300 per tick) when #2 ranger longbow skill actually does the damage that it claims to on the skill per tick.
Is there a bug? Are my toons bugged??
I have tried this also with several other toons… especially my elementalist and the result is always the same.. my ranger FAR out dps’s any of my toons with just 1 skill.
I am not the only one to notice this either…
When doing events in siverwastes.. all i see are rangers, a few warriors, an occasional thief or even a mesmer trying to save the pack bull for example.. i run in, blow everything up with my #2 skill and #5 for tags, then they stand there looking at me like OMG… you killed everything!!
I know that mesmers are invaluable in WVW for portals and invis or veils… but come on… where is thier damage? What happened? What did i miss that made rangers GODS!???
ok so.. i have been gone from the game for about a year and a half and returned due to the insistance of my wife about 2 weeks ago.
Leveled a ranger to 80.. use my elem for wvw.. but my first character was always my mesmer.. Now.. i remember that back a few months before i left, they nerfed mesmer dps.. but now it seems that they have done it again.
My ranger, elem, necro.. basically any other class i play.. can kill a mob in drytop or silverwastes in like 10 seconds.. it takes my mesmer a full minute or more to do the same .. and i die A LOT.

first off.. do you have to shatter… i know i used to run a shatter build.. but it got nerfed hard.
second.. weapon sets. I know mes is getting a speed buff in the new expansion.. and for the moment i run runes of speed.. I freaking HATE being forced to use focus just for speed buff.. anyway.. best weapon combo?
Prob wont be using this toon in wvw.. unless i find something that really blows my elem dps/utility out of the water.
Basically im wanting to know if this is just a dead class.. i mean it seems to me that against anything that can actually hit back, mesmer dies in like 2-3 hits and takes a LONG time to kill anything compared to ranger etc.

So Guardian, Engineer and Warrior have run speed signets? I had no idea, but you must know since you have all classes leveled.
There is a mesmer weapon set that gives you good runspeed but you say you don’t like the focus. There is still some use for mesmers (veils, null field, portal, mass invis, moa for trolling). The class might need a little fix though, won’t argue with that.
Necro not being a viable class however is laughable. They are great in WvW.
First.. Guardians have what.. 3 skills that give swiftness, that can be used at any time, with a short cooldown no matter what weapon you choose to use. They also have sword leap, if you choose to use sword. See my point? Save yourself, Retreat, Staff 3, Sword leap…. you are not forced to rune for speed.. or to have one specific weapon for speed.
Warriors.. They have sword jump they also have banners out the wazoo… that give a run boost to everyone around.. and once again.. they are NOT forced to have a single weapon just to have the run buffs.. they banner and when they start fighting, it drops thier banners as a buff.
The point i was making is that Mesmer are FORCED to have a focus (which now the run buff only lasts like 6 sec)… just for run buff and just to keep speed up, they have to rune of the centaur so when they heal that get the 12s buff.. still FAR less mobility than any class in game.
Necros are great in a group.. i admit that… but alone they are cannon fodder.. the ONLY class in the game that doesnt have some kind of escape skill. Name ONE skill the mesmer has that allows them to get away when cornered… Stealth? Dont have it… Blink.. they took it away in beta… Speed.. Nope.. locust doesnt work in combat… I would just like to 1v1 against any class and have a slight chance of winning. Thats what we were promised this month.. and it didnt happen.

btw.. i enjoyed last months living story.. but this one just.. doesnt seem to fit in with it very well.. besides that.. the new instance is a little too hard for most. I have been in there with several groups, and yet… no one can complete it. People arent even looking for groups to do it anymore, so i gave up.
I have to say, with this last update, i am a little disappointed.
First off let me say that i have a 80 of every class except thief (just dont like thief class personally)
Second.. all of my classes are in exotics at least ( no ascended gear yet.. cant afford it)
Third.. I play necro most of all.. hes rank 52 in WVW and i have almost 1000 hours on him (or over.. been a while since i checked)
Ok.. with that said.. let me start by saying that i have to admit im a little disappointed with the changes they added to necro this last patch.
We were promised an escape skill, a new DOT and a new DS skill, as well as DS refilling our main health bar (or some way to get health back while in DS)..
We still have no escape, DS drain doesnt refill health bar (just the ds bar) and the new dots are really lack luster to say the least. The new torment really is a joke because it only lasts 1 second and only has a 600 range. The burning skill in the power line means you have to take 30.. and it is only once per 10 sec for 4 seconds. Totally not worth it in ANY situation. Serioudly Anet? We waited patiently for weeks since the dev video.. and this is what we get? You guys spent at least 5 mins on the last dev video.. talking about how much you wanted to change necro to be a viable class etc.. and yes.. you made some changes.. but come on. At least make them VIABLE changes.
Next… i would like to say that i love my mesmer.. well used to. They are almost totally ineffective in WvW now with the nerf to confusion.. and completely worthless unless the target is right in front of you. Ever since the “Line of Sight” nerf i get killed in fields by mobs and in WvW all the time because my target is “Obstructed” by a MOUND OF DIRT about ankle high… seriously?? Not to mention that they are the slowest and most vulnerable class in the game in wvw (unless you use focus… which i cant stand) Can they please get a signet run buff like ALL the other classes? If i get separated from my group, there is no way to catch up unless i nerf myself with runes of the centar and blow a heal just to get the run buff.. the 3 sec run buff on stakitten doesnt even proc most of the time. I have tried every viable build and every weapon combination and with the nerfs, the class just isnt viable anymore and unless you run with focus and runes of the centaur, you just cant keep up. They already have the lowest HP pool in the game and yes.. they do ok 1v1 in combat.. but mesmers need some serious boosts.. even playing as necro, i hardly ever even see a mesmer anymore, unless they are portaling golems for a keep siege.
Another thing… the new “AoE loot” … it doesnt work… unless you keybind it…. so why is there a check box that says “AOE loot on interact” ?? If you have to keybind it.. why add a check box to supposedly make it work with F loot? also.. if you bind it to F, it works… but then you cant use F to talk to any NPCs etc… Really lame.
I could go on.. but there is prob no point.

BTW.. it does seem to happen when there are NO marks or spells down at all. I think it does have something to do with the number of people that are standing close to him.
Maybe since they changed the rock cliff this last patch (it has been changed since it is now a darker purple and some of the rocks at the top were changed graphically) that maybe it isn’t detecting the people that stand at the top when it spawns, which is where everyone who has been complaining seems to stand.
If it is marks or spells, it doesn’t seem to be consistent. I still throw my marks down in the area, as this is how you play the class, but i try and throw them to the sides to tag the adds instead to make sure i get credit for the event when i start to lag.
I would still like to hear from an Anet official as to if this is a bug. As stated earlier, i have YET to see any other posts on this matter and still continue to receive private tells and /m chat comments from people just because i choose to stand down in the area where he spawns.
Can we please get an official answer on this?
….so, people should just be quiet and let themselves get cheated out of events so that an individual doesn’t have to slightly alter their playstyle?
I mean, map harassment is wrong, but the action of bugging the event, even if it isn’t an exploit, is really inconsiderate.
Yeah, it’s inconsiderate. Complaining is fine. Public accusations of exploitation are seriously problematic, however. People are tarring someone’s reputation without first verifying if ArenaNet thinks it is an exploit.
As i stated before.. this is the ONLY post i have seen dealing with this issue and i only made the post here because we need to get an answer on this. It has yet to be identified as a bug as far as i know and i have seen him downed just as fast with no marks or skills being used. If it is a bug, it seems to be internal, not external and caused by anyone’s actions.
The blatant fact of the matter is that just because i have to drop my marks before the fight (as i orginally stated) because once it starts i lag so badly (5 fps) because of the number of people there and the amount of spells going off should NOT make me or anyone else a target for map chat insults, threats or anything else.
Once again.. if anyone knows of a post where this has been discussed before by any Anet rep, please post the link here.
Please keep the derogatory remarks and insults in open chat and on the forums to yourself. There is no need to slander or deface anyone because they are looking for an official answer to what seems to be a simple mistake in the coding of the mob and an internal problem that has yet to even be identified.
Using skills as they are designed and intended is not an exploit.
I did hear rumors last week that people were using traps ( the ones from kiel’s waypoint close to there) to somehow bug the instigator, but i wouldn’t know for sure since i never used any of them.
My marks are however my skills and they are working as intended and as per their description.
The post that i made is the only post that i have seen to date that mentions this type of occurrence and it has yet to be identified as a bug. If someone else knows of a post by an anet team member or developer about this issue, please link it here.
In response to the above poster, I did not take offence to anything anyone said, until they started harassing me personally in map chat and in private tells. I do know for a fact that that this type of behavior is bannable and i will continue reporting people for harassment as it happens.
I am NOT exploiting a bug in any way or form and being singled out on map chat and in tells is just ludicrous. I am NOT the only person using prefight skills (as my skills are intended to be used) and the people posting the negative comments here are some of the ones i reported for harassment.
There are usually 20-40 people standing there waiting for these bosses to spawn. Necro wells, elementalist storms and engineer bombs/turrets are all over the place and i get singled out and harassed in map chat for throwing down my marks as they are intended to be used. Some people even telling other people (who aren’t even in the area) to report me for exploiting, which once again… i am NOT doing.
Can we please get a red post about this issue?
first… i have not seen any other posts regarding this as a known bug. If you have a link to a post (an anet official) posting that this is an exploit or bug, please link it here. There was speculation being thrown around in map chat that it was only necro wells at first, then the same people started yelling at engineers and even a few elementalist who were playing there as well and preloading the area with aoes (as they should.. its how you play thier class as well). I have yet to see a single post and this is not listed as a known bug on the bug forum (one that i could find anyway)
second… i only called someone a moron after they told me i cannot use ANY wells or skills (which is how i play my class) and harassed me with threats of reporting me for exploiting for almost an hour. I am a nice guy and i never use strong language in chat.. but after this type of harassment i lost my cool for a moment and did call someone a moron, and for that i apologize. Yet, getting yelled at for playing my class how it is intended did perturb me a great deal and this issue needs to be addressed asap.

This is a copy of a post i just made in the bug forum. I thought that i should also post it here to maybe draw attention to it from an admin and get a faster answer because of all the fights it has been causing in map chat this week. Several necromancers (not just myself) are getting threatened with tells and /m chat with people believing that our skills are the cause for a bug that is apparently happening. Please read below.
In southsun there is a riot instigator that spawns just down the hill. I logged in and ran down there waiting for him to spawn on my necromancer. Since i lag like crazy when there are tons of people on the screen (20+ all firing spells at the same time) i laid down my necro marks where he spawns.
All of the sudden i start getting tells about "What the heck do you think your doing? — “What did you do to make him die so fast?” … As well as map chat posts saying “OMG look at that necro exploiting!” I have NEVER exploited and was mad at first. I tried to tell them that i was doing nothing different than anyone else, using my skills as intended.. and i got harassed in map chat and in several tells…
i finally logged off in disgust after about an hour or so of harassment by several players in map chat.
How would using a skill that i have make him bug? There were tons of people there.. which was why i thought he was dying so quickly (or that instigator is just bugged from bad coding)
Me and the other necro that were there were the ones getting yelled at and threatened with bans… yet all the other classes with pre fight mechanics.. such as elementalists with aoe storms and engineers with turrets were doing the same thing, blanketing the area in aoe trying to get hits in when he spawns.
I use staff, like i said because of the lag there. I can throw a set of marks down and at least i get credit for the event etc if i cant move the rest of the fight.
I read the description for all my staff skills again as well.. “Creates a mark that activates when something enters it” or something to that effect. I am not using them in any special way, other than laying them down as intended.
Frankly, im getting sick of every time i log in and go there, tons of people start whispering me and yelling in map chat that they are reporting me for exploiting for using my skills AS INTENDED.
Is using my skills an exploit??? If not can you PLEASE make a post acknowledging the problem and that it is NOT necro wells making that instigator bug…. or should i just not even play my necro at all?
I need to know for sure. I cant find any posts about the subject.
I dont want to get banned for using my skills as they were intended and as the description says with just a ton of people sending in false reports that i am exploiting a bug.
It is 12:15 AM EST and my character is Truely Deadly on the Tarnished Coast server. If an admin would like to talk with me, i will be online for an hour or two, unless i am once again forced off by people threatening to report me for exploiting.
In southsun there is a riot instigator that spawns just down the hill. I logged in and ran down there waiting for him to spawn on my necromancer. Since i lag like crazy when there are tons of people on the screen (20+ all firing spells at the same time) i laid down my necro marks where he spawns.
All of the sudden i start getting tells about "What the heck do you think your doing? — “What did you do to make him die so fast?” … As well as map chat posts saying “OMG look at that necro exploiting!” I have NEVER exploited and was mad at first. I tried to tell them that i was doing nothing different than anyone else, using my skills as intended.. and i got harassed in map chat and in several tells…
i finally logged off in disgust after about an hour or so of harassment by several players in map chat.
How would using a skill that i have make him bug? There were tons of people there.. which was why i thought he was dying so quickly (or that instigator is just bugged from bad coding)
Me and the other necro that were there were the ones getting yelled at and threatened with bans… yet all the other classes with pre fight mechanics.. such as elementalists with aoe storms and engineers with turrets were doing the same thing, blanketing the area in aoe trying to get hits in when he spawns.
I use staff, like i said because of the lag there. I can throw a set of marks down and at least i get credit for the event etc if i cant move the rest of the fight.

Since saturday morning, these bots have been running this pattern in sparkfly. They disappear (not sure where to this time since they bot owner must have moved them from caldon to somewhere else as thier “out of map” xp revive place.. or whatever you want to call it. Yet i know hundreds… and i do mean HUNDREDS of people who have come for the dragon event have reported them every time they zone in.
Here is my point…. This happened a few weeks ago with more bots we reported. Now THOSE bots are sitting at events in cursed shore, farming kills for cash and karma, making it impossible for anyone else to get any kills. The 4 ranger bots drop all thier traps at the event spawn point near penitent waypoint, and as soon as the stuff runs in and becomes killable… its dead before you can get a single hit in. All 3 events at the end of the caves are camped.
The bots i have been tracking for a week.. are still in sparkfly fin, but by thursday of this week, they will be camping events in Cursed Shore if something isnt done.
I know the developers say “report them and they will be banned” etc… But this isnt the case.
Some people argue that “oh maybe thier not bots at all.. maybe its a multi boxer” No… these are bots.. After a while of running the same pattern, they actually start skipping and glitching even.
The developers say “keep reporting these bots… they will be banned in the next wave.. we always get them!” All i can say is … No.. they wont.. There are level 80 bots sitting at EVERY event in cursed shore.. and reporting them does NOTHING. These 4 bots alone have to have been reported HUNDREDS of times this week alone.. yet they will be 80 in a few days.. if they arent already.
Now… understand this.. i love this game.. i like every aspect of it, except the poor handling of the botting problem.
Come on.. please give us something more definate than “we will get them taken care of” and then leave the bots there for WEEKS to ruin events for the live players.
It is getting so bad that every single event you go to, there are at LEAST 3-4 bots in the area that run by. You can tell they are bots because day or night… they are ALWAYS running the exact same pattern over and over.
Reporting them DOES NOTHING at this point in time it seems… I have watched countless bots level to 80 while playing since launch… most of which are now camping in cursed shore.. or standing in town bragging on all the cool items they have now to thier friends (yes.. not all botters are gold/account sellers)
I have a LONG list of names of the bots. I posted them here once hoping something could.. or would… be done… But all it got me was a WARNING to MY account… and for the life of me i cant understand why. …
With all that said… can a game manager, developer, someone… log into cursed shore… go around to some of the events like those in the human starting area… or sparkfly fin… take a few minutes out of your busy day, and KILL THESE kitten BOTS so that the people who actually want to play the game the way it is intended… can do so!!!!

I know you have people who handle issues like this in game.. but letting these bots run for weeks at a time is NOT the solution… people are complaining that nothing gets done when you report them… and a few of my friends have actually quit because of it because there is absolutly no point in trying to do anything in the game if you cant get a kill at any event if there are 4 to 10 bots parked on it taking all the kills!.
I play on Tarnished Coast server.. My character name is “Truely Amazing” If you need to contact me.. please do.. i will give you the names of the bots and show you exactly where they are.. where they run.. what they kill etc.. Anything to help get them… but i will not report them anymore because that DOES NOTHING.
