I agree with the fellas that say that AP = play time or achievements hunting. I was already practicing some solo dungeons and was getting a decent knowledge in Arah (thanks Spoj, deSade, Sam and the rest <3) pre my 3k AP. I’m nearing 5k AP (kitten, I can finally do TA with those awesome “5k ap, zerk, fast run, warr only” parties) now and this is generally just thanks to my dailies and any AP that come with time such as the slayer achievements, crafting etc.
It hasn’t been once or twice when I’ve been doing much better in my party with my 3-4k AP than the 16k AP fella. I’m sure you’d all relate and agree that there are bad players with 20k AP and then there’s Purple Miku with his kazul AP.
This will allow the title to actually mean something when scrubs can’t just join your selling party, kick you and overtake it to get credit for it.

Maybe you’d like to enlighten me as to what engineers, guardians, rangers, and necromancers have that are actually worth using as something other than an afterthought then.
I like your way of thinking – other classes have kitten elites so we shouldn’t complain that ours are kitten now too.
I’ve never played an engi so I can’t comment on theirs, but I’m quite sure that Renewed Focus, Tome of Wrath, Rampage as One and Entagle in certain situations as well as Lich Form (dont belittle the class) are at better standing than our FGS right now.
Or maybe I should just camp Tornado all day long, kitten, Lupi you ain’t knocking me back, bud.
Pugged Lvl 40 fractal, not only did guardian do an efficient and smart Aegis rotation, but also used wall efficiently. Whole fractal took about 40 minutes with mossman, Cliffside, Dredge, mai trinn (8 minute mai trinn, from trash to end )

It’s path, not part. Each path has a different story, and different bosses in most cases, if you watch the cinematics and pay attention to the NPC talks.
Exactly, it’s so extremely situational that it even kittenes me off. The fire ele does kitten damage, the water ele does nothing pretty much, air is wtf?! and earth can only be used as a meat (rock) shield. And what’s even more annoying is that when you tell them to use whatever kitten spell they have, it’s bloody channeling so it will interrupt whatever channel you’re currently doing.
Yep, they are now. I can’t find any of my elites useful now except in very particular situations. Thanks, ANet, 10/10 challenging PvE content after the FGS nerf.

Berserker Abomination doesn’t leave enrage mode when hit with CC.

So after some of the posters on here suggested that I should try out the new leveling system before commenting on it, I decided to delete my mesmer so I can re-roll a new character and give it a try.
Well, I did.
And it’s kittening bad, seriously. I don’t know what was going through your mind at that time, peeps at ANet, but this is probably the worst leveling system I’ve seen in MMO. Weapon skills unlocked with levels, can’t equip offhand, DOWNED KITTEN COMBAT LOCKED, and then even the skills in downed mode locked out until like level 20!!!
Seriously, you’re doing great job fixing bugs during the last couple of days, but this leveling system … wow, just … wow.

Considering my Lightning Whip hits in and between 5k and 10-12k, I’d be happy if every FGS auto attack tops at least 8k per hit.
I have a couple thousands from dungeons like AC, Arah and TA but I don’t think I care enough to get the title. As for the chest, probably an armor piece or a weapon from the same dungeon.

Hammer ia still bugged if a person that carries a hammer and gets thrown off by wind the hammer sometimes gets stuck on the way down on some random cliff that cannot be picked up again. They fixed nothing.

I still haven’t tried out the new leveling system but the hundreds of posts about it plus the videos I’ve been watching create an image of something very tedious in my head.
This is the exact problem with the forums. Most of the ones screaming about how terrible these changes are have not actually played the changes themselves. They just read what other people are posting (who also have not played the changes) and then regurgitate it. I have a feeling Anet knows this. It’s probably one of the reasons they don’t put too much stock in what people say in the forums.
I’m sorry but I don’t have a free character slot nor am I willing to invest in one right now after the patch and the current price of gems.
I’ve already seen Mike’s video and have spoken to a couple of friends who tried it out and their opinion is the same as mine. I approve of the rewards per level, but locking out weapon skills, downed mode, vistas and skill points plus the GPS thingy in the top right, is just pure ridicule with everyone who’s rolling an alt or joining the game.
About AC P2, I’ve only noticed the bugs being done in 2 rounds and it’s in there for a couple of weeks now. One of the ways to try to prevent Detha from bugging before that part is killing all the gravelings and oozes on the way from Foefire to the traps area. It has always worked for me so far, hope I’m not jinxing it.
Ah, another self-elected community manager… Well, I’m quite happy about the recent changes – not about everything, but all in all they did a pretty good job. Didn’t notice so far anyone in my guild or in mapchat complaining heavily…

Errr, no. Nothing new and what they changed doesn’t bother experienced dungeon runners at all. There are other ways to fix/avoid it btw (no nomad-bla required).
Are you you serious? We have people reporting that you can not proceed with the instance itself because an event inside there does not trigger. Go tell me how to run past Belka and do Path 2, please. And what’s the gear relation in here?

Please don’t insult each other, guys, the thread is for discussions not brainless attacks towards the members of the community who like the feature pack. I guess I should update the OP with the rest of the information that players report they’ve noticed in-game.
As posted before have said, don’t be fooled by the FGS nerf, eles still remain on the very top of the classes chain. Guardians are just as nice however I believe that eles extend much better across the various dungeons.

Well, it seems that ANet is currently putting a lot of effort and people into communicating around the forums. Chris Cleary on the dungeons subforums, Colin Johanson, GM Talon, Stephane on the general discussions. Obviously, we wont get even partial rollback on the changes made so far but at least the current activity from ANet’s side gives me a tiny bit of hope that we might see changes … soon.
Another change: Warrior’s adrenaline bar is now hidden when you pick up a bundle.
Does this mean when carrying, berserker’s power no longer is in effect?

Well, I must admit I kind of saw that coming when they announced that the dungeon owner mechanic will be removed and didn’t clearly state that they will introduce rules and regulations (or different mechanics) that would protect the party leader/dungeon opener (in that sense the seller of the path) from being easily removed from his own party and instance.
Being booted of your own party while trying to fill it as in Etien’s fractals case will probably force CS to take actions, however I doubt they’d if it’s the case of selling a path, don’t know why I have that feeling.
Looks like anet re-opened that jump at the start of coe story which was invisiwalled that lets you skip to the end. It’s a bit tricky to do the 1st jump now but it works.

Endboss doublehit spot has not been fixed, its just not visible that you doublehit him anymore. Just open the log and you can proove it!You can see the damage over his head if you place your camera correctly :P so it does indeed still work.
Confirmed, did TA earlier today, observed the same behaviour.

I don’t think a petition is needed for all this. If there’s a sane person left in ANet, he will know that something has to change by all the negative feedback just in the first 24 hours after the release. As I said on my previous post though, anyone who is to undertake the job to reply to the community and make a promise is currently getting a lot of weight on one’s shoulders so ANet will probably wait a bit and find the best way to reply to the community.
I just hope that all those threads don’t die out with a part of the disappointed playerbase by then.
I think we should all also settle for the fact that we’d certainly not get an answer from ANet right the way. You know that those have to be completely polished before posting since we tend to put every word out of the context if it’d support our opinion. I’d be happy to see some kind of a recognition on the players feedback so far though.
Wookie, there are players on the Dungeons sub-forums confirming that the Arah path 2 bug with Belka has been around before and has been fixed with a very good consistency. However, after the patch hit the servers last night, P2 died completely as Belka wont trigger at all.
