I hop on the party on my warrior saying I will switch to my ele since there are 2 warriors already. The guardian starts crying to be fast and all that … hmm .. okay.

They were are Nook already, so we just finished him off and proceeded to the golems. As a person who’s been playing his warr mainly in the past few days, I totally forget about fgs. 2 guys get downed but all the golems die anyway.

Guardian: No fgs? Gj ele.
Me: I’m sorry, I’ve been playing my warr lately, totally forgot.
Guardian: fgs is all eles are worth
Me: I beg to differ

We get to the last boss and this is when I notice that WE HAVE A BLOODY “ZERK” GUARDIAN USING A STAFF AS MAIN WEAPON! The same guy who was just complaining about my mistake with the fgs was just staffing the kitten out of the boss and couldn’t even care less about swapping to another weapon.

Faith in pugz: destroyed. Back to guildies.

Guildie wanted to go higher in fractals last night so we did level 19 for him. We had one spot so we decided to pug it. Some warrior got in and we greeted him, only to receive silence in return. Fair enough.

Fractal number 1: Swamp, we were already at Bloomy, he arrived wielding axe/axe and a longbow. Hm, whatever, I’m fine with you ranging Bloomy most of the time.

Fractal number 2: Cliffside, our fella took ages to get to the chest seal, once we got there, he had to pick up the hammer. He stood in front of the seal, just staring at it and pressed auto-attack a couple of times, sigh. Anyway, somehow we managed to get to Archie where our fella got instantly nuked down by the agony attack … I was already starting to doubt of whether this guy has been in fractals before.

Fractal number 3: Dredge, hurrah … not. Got into serious argument of how to guard the console because this guy strongly believed he should just run around the room while someone else is supposed to keep the spawning behind the console dredges. Wipe. And a second one. I finally told him to get on the kitten plate and let me guard the console since he seems to be having no idea of how to do it. I was called a noob and was invited to do a level 50 fractals with his group so I can see some srs skilllz … well, at this point I was on the verge of kicking him from the party but I decided to hold back and rather let him stay until the end. We wiped again at Ice elemental and I’m pretty much done with pugz of any kind.

Now to get some more coffee, ugh.

Our plan was to kill him using rifles only. #op

So, nowadays me and a guildie do practice runs in Arah constantly. Yesterday, I joined him a bit after he started. I arrived at the Abomination to see this.

When visiting a map, it’s no longer the original instance of your server or an overflow. Now people are being thrown around on maps of the different servers so there can be balance in the population of all maps. And yes, this does mean that all the people around you are from different servers, very likely.

Rasi, don’t be silly, you did great as guardian I have the feeling that Spider Queen fgs rush is kinda like the fire balls in CoF pt1 – if you mess it up the first time, you will keep messing it up for at least 10 more attempts.

Last night I was doing full AC teaching run for a friend of mine. Strategy was simple since we had the ele in our party – ice bow the SQ and fgs it down. You’d decide that such things are fairly easy to do when you’ve done them so many times, but sigh

Path 1 – My guildie forgot to bring back his pet – SQ AoE’d us from the door, gg;
Path 2 – SQ pulled properly this time, I was ready with Ice Bow 5 but mini spiders were still alive, gg;
Path 3 – SQ pulled properly, mini spiders dead, I was late on the freeze. Kitten this, kitten that, seriously.

I’m using the following setup, pretty much vanilla, I think it’s just down to getting used to it, most of the time I rather having troubles with the attunements 1 second CD simply because I actually try to swap around faster.

F1, F2, F3, F4 – Attunements;
WASD – Moving around;
12345 – Skills;
Q – Healing;
E – Dodge;
ZXC – Utilities, where Z is the least used utility, X & C utility skills from lower to higher priority respectively;
V – Elite skill;
T – Closest enemy;
Space – Jump;
TAB – TeamSpeak push-to-talk button.

I think they nerfed her damage a bit after the patch that turned her into Mai Truck. She no longer downs me with a pistol spin or blink, instead I still have around 1/3 hp to run around. Horrik and the cannon phase however … sigh

Did they do something to Mai Trin in the last couple of days? I think I got her once the other day at level 38 but she was the same old Mai Trin, not really such a pain in the butt. I’ve noticed a few posts in the last few days with complaints about Mai and I was wondering if I’m missing or something or what?

No, you can only get a maximum of 200 points from it ( 200/5 =40 times completition). Afterwards it’s just a pop-up telling you did completed it yet again.

I was very surprised when a pug in my party showed me the hall with the pillars in AC explorable mode. I sometimes still spend like 10-15 minutes there if I opened the instance, just jumping around the pillars and having a look. It feels as if I touch the history of the game and what happened to Ascalon and all that, but I just like such places, they give me a fuzzy nostalgic feeling.

Guildie recorded a video, but the quality appears very low on YouTube, plus he started recording a bit after I went in. Took me very long but I was afraid to play offensively, I pretty much ranged him with melee weapons xD

My problem was that the Knight reset like 8 times at like 10-15% hp which drove me nuts. It took me long enough to try to kill them 1 by 1 without having them all reset at once AND Leurent re-aggroing at the same time.

I can’t believe that I actually considered Leurent one of my hardest encounters before and now after I finally managed to get through him, he seems so easy. :c

I finally managed to solo TA fwd too ^_^
The first time I tried, I was stuck on Leurent, got a party and killed him;
This time I was stuck on the Knight next to Leurent; got a party, killed the Knight and solo’d Leurent, yay!

How Lupi Science works for me:

1. Go to Lupi;
2. Die instantly.

No values and calculations whatsoever needed.

I’ve found that my EU fractal pugs are Far Far FAR worse than my NA fractal pugs.

Pugs in general… well. I may be getting lucky but I’ve been having good times as of late.

I know I’m bad but still … In that level 9 ran we did, I actually had one piece of armour left that was damaged and not broken. :/ I’m sure there are people who also die like 30 times.

Below, you will find a few steps that will turn you into a better mesmer than Jerem is, I swear, he should read this post so he can improve his gameplay and take it to a brand new level.

Step 1: Find an epic enemy that either you crush, or it crushes you;

Step 2: Go to Options -> Controls and set new skill keys for your utilities and elite skill;

Step 3: Let the enemy believe that it crushes you and execute (probably quite unintentionally) the following two things:

- Press a random newly assigned button;
– Press another newly assigned button;

Step 4: Enjoy your extremely epic and well placed timewarp and if any of the people on your party dare to say something, then just call them scrubs because they can’t acknowledge how high-level is your gameplay as a mesmer.

PS: Don’t make fun of my resolution, I’m too poor to buy a new monitor. :<

Ooh I think I’m almost seeing it, but I think the aircraft controller needs to be turned towards me and giving me a look okittennowledgement to signify that he knows I’m watching where he is directing my attention. I need that reassurance before I can be absolutely certain that what I am seeing is the raptor. Also if he could have an unclothed torso with a 6 pack of abs that would also get my attention better as well.
