Yeah but I don’t need a refund. I bought two to use and use them I will. The spare has been in a particular character’s inventory so long I’ve written off the gem use anyway.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
I say do both, if you have the time. Between doing the the things you have to do for your ascended gear you can run a ranger around. Just don’t use longbow 4 when people are meleeing!
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
I had visions of some gorilla-built shop worker badgering you into getting more lol.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Forced? Wut?
And nothing much at the moment unless you like minis, or bits of those new skins. Save them up for the return of the Bazaar and Pavilion soon. They might be adding some things. Might.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
And for flashy – just about anything Dreamthistle.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
This sword. Of all the detailed and amazing stuff they’ve created I keep coming back to this sword skin. I’m not really one for flashy so this sword really suits my tastes.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
At least you get to see the shield, which cannot be said the same for every guardian out there.
Dat Aegis =/ Ruins all shield skins.
Dragons jade looks decent with aegis.
So does the guild one. It looks like it was made with the aegis in mind.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Well kitten . I had that skin for a while but it never showed that wield graphic in preview so I sold it. No wonder I got a decent amount of money for it.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Too bad I can’t get my spare Rox quiver to you somehow so you can throw some money at me!
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
And people say the game is imbalanced now, what do you think would happen then?
They’d probably still say the game is imbalanced and then go on to blame the gem shop.
People around here talk a lot of kitten and I don’t pay too much attention to it. This weapon skill thing is just idle speculation.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Oh, it’s scary music you want do you?
Bah. Almost as bad as being rick-rolled lol
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Perhaps what is needed is alternative modes on the same weapon. For instance, an offensive mode where most of the skills are attack based or defensive mode where the auto attack is still offensive but the rest are more like parries, blocks or deflects.
This is pretty much what I was thinking about. Or having an option for each slot to change between an offensive or defensive skill.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
I was thinking of this just a few hours ago. Weapon skills that is. It would be nice to choose from a few skills for number slot.

We at the Black Lion Trading Company agree it’s clearly Ellen Kiel’s fault.
^ I bet she forced Evon Gnashblade to remove them from his shops and give them all to her soldiers for free. Just like she threatened Evon with outright stealing his stock of supplies the first time in the guise of “confiscating” them and calling him a criminal, then threatening to have him killed if he refused to obey her. Thanks alot Ellen Kiel. See how underhanded your candidate was? I bet you wish you voted differently now.
A vote for Ellen Kiel was a vote casted wrong.
#Evon Gnashblade 2014 (The message brought to you by the committe to find a way to remove Ellen Kiel from the Captain’s Council and instate the candidate who should have been elected in the first place. #Evon Gnashblade)
Ellen has balls for standing up to that capitalist catdog Evon. Most of my characters rejoice in her triumph, and the others are still grumbling.

Devata, I’m willing to bet you’re still getting negative feedback but a lot of it may end up directed at computer screens. There’s only so much arguing most normal people can manage.
People don’t have to grind gold for gems but that’s their choice. Good for them if that’s what they want to do. If its the only choice they have then they have to wear it.
There should be more skins available throughout the game. Some as drops for a chance at “prestige” skins , and maybe even some crafted from particular recipes. Not absurd crafting either but skins that can crafted at a variety of levels.
In fact lately many complains on the forum I see say the same and no haven’t gotten a lot of negative feedback, mostly agreeing feedback. Also see the comments in this thread.
No people don’t so much choose to grind it, then people would not complain so much about it. Because the items are not in the game (dropped by a mob or a boss or a dungeon or as quest / event/ hearth reward) in many cases it’s the only way to get that item (or buy with cash of course). So if they like it they will have to grind gold to be able to get it. The idea is they should play the game to get it (that’s why it’s a game), not grind gold to be able to buy it. (you know like a job)
Well, at least it wasn’t an essay.

As Community Relations, he should be communicating our concerns to his bosses, getting answers which he CAN publish, and giving them to us.
Thats like, his job, y’know.
Maybe he’s done the first bit but hasn’t got the second bit back yet.

Maybe Mark is allowed to post a few funny lines, but isn’t allowed to post about the company’s stand on the feedback about certain subjects.
Don’t shoot the messenger. Or, go ahead…he probably will refrain from posting anything jovial in the future. I thought it was funny, and didn’t see any hidden agenda there. But, that’s just me.
No, not just you.

The money could be deposited into the guild bank for someone to “invest” it. If the guild bank feature is available, that is. An awful lot of trust would be involved.
I might have a chat with my guildie later…
Haha true. That being said I’m not sure how long it takes to realistically unlock the bank. I’m on my phone so its hard to look up buil times but from memory don’t you need to build influence-intensive things with long build times? Like architecture 1ir2 and then the building of the bank?
Definitely possible by sppeding things up in two weeks but its also a pretty elaborate way to get around the limit on what can be mailed.
The guild stash is fairly cheap. A decent amount of players could get one up and running by now if they knew what they were doing. Two levels of architecture so they could even have one within a week.

Fair enough. I enjoy reading the discussions in this sub-forum so hopefully I’ll get something out of it too

Its not really any concern of ours what their TP does, is it? It might be interesting to varying degrees but pretty pointless (no offense).
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Clunky and archaic? No thanks.

People never like seeing how retail works. While this sort of digital product isn’t quite the same it can still leave a poor taste in the mouth for the uninitiated.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Not really sure. Maybe a support ticket. They might just tell you that there’s nothing they can do or they may be able to refund the letter (or something).
There’s plenty of knowledgeable people around here so someone will come along with a bit of better advice for details.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
There is a mention that the devs will be doing something for cross server guilds. If/when that happens things like this may get fixed. You can’t be the only one that’s done it.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Would it really make a difference? All servers have their little armies and lone wolves.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Very nice.
If they ever come to Sydney I wonder what they’d do. I’d be happy with a meet and greet at a pub.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Two words:
About time
Definitely with the Zephyrites. I thought for sure that the Bazaar would pop up a few times a year, even unannounced, so people could wander in and tool around. I won’t say I’m disappointed that didn’t happen but it would have been nice.

There is food available that reduces condition duration (and hence, ultimately damage)by up to 40%. Check the wiki for options!
That would be the lemongrass poultry food. It’s pretty much the meta food in wvw at the moment, coupled with Superior runes of melandru you get a -65% duration to conditions, which can be enhanced by traiting against certain conditions.
Bah, wish I knew about this the other day. My guildie and I were hunting around for something like this but gave up. I’ll have to get my cooking up.
A word of warning, Melandru runes are VERY expensive atm. I sold one for 13g not long ago.
I noticed that. I have a set of the runes put away and when I saw what price they were recently I decided to be very careful on who I give them to.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
I don’t feel the same, mainly because my guild of 2.5 people probably wouldn’t be able to build or buy one.
And you’re hurt by this?? Seriously? I’m not sure you really know what hurt is.
Perhaps I’m not being clear enough. I was using the word hurt to emphasize that it is a bit more than frustration for me at this point.
Also, if the guild halls worked anything like they did in the first game, I guarantee you would be able to afford/build a hall.
Maybe or maybe not. Won’t know until they’re introduced.
And I did get the hyperbolic use of the word “hurt”. Maybe “grossly disappointed” would be a better fit.

I’ve got booze to make me feel young!
Sigh. I’m somewhere between 40 and 50, divorced and a part-time father…..I have plenty of time for gaming.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Never seen this in game, only on the forums.

Have a look through your alts to see if you have any boxes left over. I’ve still got around 50 or so spread over all mine, keep forgetting to use them.
You dont want to look for boxes but Fortune Kites, which give you a random 10 min buff and some fortune scraps, when you consume them.
Kite Fortune, if we’re going to be like that. He knew what I was meaning.

I played Star Wars Galaxies.
Ever since then, I’ve wanted a game with player housing on par with it.
I doubt I will ever see that.
I played it as well and the housing system for that is one of the few things in my life I’ve actually hated. The open world aspect at least, anyway. Player cities splashed everywhere was awful.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Two very very different games for different audiences.
They seem to complement each other. I’ve been tooling around in the open beta (haven’t found this extra challenge yet btw) and I can see people who like GW2 would also get something out of the other. It going to be easy to switch between the two. I wonder if the publisher tried to arrange something like that.
When GW2 was in beta, the biggest response from most of the players of games like WoW and RIFT was that GW2 was a nice casual game, with no monthly subscription, which would give the hardcore raiders something to keep them busy while they waited out their raid timers.
I’ve been thinking since a week after the LS finished that I needed a game to keep me busy until LS2. The other game might be the filler between my bouts of casualness!
(And Phadde, I’ve been trying to find the challenge in the other game to actually participate in the thread as asked for so sorry for the disruption. I found the minor derailment was too interesting.)

I have a guildie whose guardian is pretty kitten tough and deals out some decent damage. I wouldn’t say it was overpowered but well traited and equipped. And well played. It depends on which monsters Razor is meaning for being OP or not.
And yes and pretty much right up there, for your other two questions.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
I thought about suggesting elementalist but if he wants to look like a knight he might have a bit of difficulty. The conjured weapons are a bit of fun for the hands on ele.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
lol Tigirius. Why put out a warning when its actually a given? You can find people posting their surprise when it doesn’t happen!
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Endymion, guardian might be your way to go. Spell effects with ranged and melee options.
It really doesn’t matter about the species choice at all. The only differences are a few skills that aren’t overpowered, and in some cases probably barely used. GW2 is a game with a very aesthetic base for much of it and that includes the player species.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
He’s probably got it all sorted now.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
Cool, I hadn’t noticed this. I might have to put it on one of my rangers to match his bewbie longbow.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone but myself use a sclerite skin so no great loss there. There’s nothing to suggest these skins won’t be back at a later date, though to be fair nothing to suggest they will either. As they add more they can always cycle them around. And the Wintersday stuff is likely to come back in december, you’d think.
