I haven’t put mine up yet, still trying to decide if I want to make the legendary. Odds on I miss the boat when I make up my mind.

I’m going to keep going into the Pavilion until I can find a bunch of people who want to try for better than bronze. Then I’m going to stay until I’m tired of it.

Plus, I’ve fallen for the Gauntlet. That’s decent game play.

I’d have hoped there would be some kind of mini dump for them like there was for Blade Shards. Not only that, but all old Living Story junk some of us kept including (but not limited to) Scarlet’s ciphers, power cores and power core fragments.

It seems there IS a bug with Golden Fortune Scraps. I met some one in map chat that couldn’t see the option “I have one of the limited-time claim tickets” option at the black lion weapon specialist even though he has a Golden Fortune Scrap in his starter backpack. And I can also confirm that the BLWS has a tab that takes Golden Fortune Scraps still, but I was able to get the option with regular Fortune Scraps.

I thought this might have been fixed by now. That’s been a bug for a while.

I have done. I felt a bit silly and had a laugh to myself while doing so.

Well yea, like when everyone has donated enough money the gates will close and every player who is inside a Zone will port out to the gate. After two minutes, every player that has donated atleast 1c and/or stands in the middle will be ported to a random generated Zone(Boss), just like it was with Marionette when we got ported to a random platform.

150 players can’t organize without good leaders and preparations and this is IMO a good way to organize players without them knowing it realy.

I like this new boss blitz and how it is supposed to work, but sadly the zerg-mentality and the farming mentality (Gonna kill 50 of each Veteran) is ruining it. IMO.

Queensdale seems to be doing fine with the megaserver and the champ train was never intended by Arenanet, so in that perspectove this is a fix.

Btw, this isn’t the start of Living story season 2 as someone stated above. Season 2 still has to start.

Makes no difference if its the real start or a bit of filler. There are activities in the game that will have drawn people out of the starter maps.

I’m probably not the best person to compare guilds with since mine only has 2.5 people in it and I know they haven’t been on. If your guild is big and it shows that for everyone then its probably some sort of bug. The “unknown” thing can happen with a patch but usually clears itself when players log in.

Is it showing unknown? They may not have been on yet. That’s how it shows for my guild but I know they haven’t been on.

I do enjoy the dolyak race. Though I don’t much like how the top racers yell at all of the other racers to hurry up and finish so they can get their gold reward.

Every time I’ve raced, everyone at the top is always yelling but in a good way. It’s not uncommon to hear “Go yaks, go!”, “YAK YAK YAK”, or lots of folks spamming /cheer… which has actually mad it a pretty amusing and fun community event every time.

That’s my experience so far as well.

Its sort of odd how the events in the “fresh air and sunshine” part of the update are generally fun and pleasant while the event “stuck inside” is the opposite. There’s nothing like having a bit of sun on your face

Anyone who already has a blade pack really has no reason to complain. You got to use them for what they were intended. A lot of us didn’t get the chance, personally I started playing GW2 about a week before the destruction of Lions Arch. It has been one of my goals since I bought the game to get a blade pack, now they’ve made it easier on me, rather than having to buy thousands of watchwork sprockets.

The point is you shouldn’t feel entitled to anything over an item that has outlived its use. Arenanet promised a merchant who would accept them, they never said "Keep your blade shards, you can trade them for exotic/ascended gear." Can you blame them? If they sold you even rares for blade shards, it would crash ectoplasm prices and with it the entire crafting economy, they thought forward, and thought about the people who don’t have 5,000 of these things just laying around, consider that. Your expectations are not their sole focus, keeping the game alive and well is. A good game is not made through a ruined economy.

You can hold on to your extra blade shards, as the team will be adding something later which will allow you to convert the shards to something of value. Dev will be announcing more on that later. Thanks!

I was playing it about an hour ago and seemed alright. Someone in there said something about a bug being fixed but I had no idea what they were on about.

I’m finding these bosses a lot more fun than last year, but the event a load more frustrating. Give it a few days and I think (hope?) people will get it and start playing smart. However, for the first time in nearly a year and a half I’ve been thinking of the rewards and how crap they are. I’m pretty sure I’ve never thought this in the game.

I’ve also done some Gauntlet, which I didn’t touch last time. That’s enjoyable.

We’ve done quite a lot times in a row of “Golds”.

We always use 6cmder tags, and split up 12-13 ppl per boss. Get they all down to 5%, and then kill all at same time.

I’m just picturing the large player organisations farming the hell out of this event 24 hours a day, gold or silver every time. Every instance I’ve been in so far has had commanders just disappear after a couple of bosses. I really don’t have any time for PvE commanders but they would be really handy just getting the ball rolling. Much like the Marionette.

I really hope it’s a bug, otherwise this place will be empty within the next 48h. I understand nerfing the loot but NO loot at all? Complete waste of time.

The instance I was just in was deserted pretty quickly already.

Some of the mobs seem to be dropping stuff but it seems be very rarely. Gauntlet tickets and the tokens.

Why don’t you play ArcheAge as ArcheAge? Seems a better fit.

There are champs all through the game so man up and go do the harder ones elsewhere. They put the reason in the patch notes and it seems reasonable enough.

And if they really took away the Queensdale champs because people were being pricks to each other then let the lesson be if you kids can’t play nice together then the toys will be taken away. Its not like they haven’t done it before.

I’d love a snowy winter style armour, or just frosty in general. I’m pretty much over fire. An armour style for each Black Lion weapon would be great.

I’d imagine a Black Lion armour would still have some sort connection to the shop, if ever implemented.

I’m starting to see almost as much spam on the forums about this as I’m seeing from the sellers in game. Crazy times!

I enjoy traveling around the game world seeing and doing things. I enjoyed the Living Story and I’m looking forward to Season 2. I enjoy creating characters and watching them grow. This is the first game where I’ve been able to make characters to closely match favourites in stories I’ve liked. I seriously enjoy the art and attention to detail in this game (selectively forgetting clipping…).

There are a few things I don’t enjoy but since that’s not the question I won’t get onto those.

Its still dead in the water. If we both run out into Wayfarer at our peak time then we won’t be on SoS or IoJ, we’ll be on a megaserver. You know that.

WvW is the only reason to choose a server now.
