I doubt the update has anything to do with DoS attacks as software alone cant really do much about them. Net routing to a provider that has mitigation built in for DOS attacks would be possible though, but then they would be porting servers over to Cloudflare or some other service.

Have you made sure that the Z97 Board is not doing a stock OC or running on some ‘Profile’? It kind of sounds like the VID/vCore might be a bit to high on the 4790K even though you are not overclocking. The fact that you crash with Turbo Boost really makes me think that.

anyway, I would start there. Go through the BIOS settings, then download HWInfo and/or Coretemp/CPU-Z and load up Prim95 and watch your VID and make sure its not going to 1.3v or higher.

The 4790K can run stock at 0.98v, but I have seen boards push the VID to 1.3-1.35v+ when turbo is enabled.

also, GW2 will use HT. Once you get your PC stable you will see when you watch your core/thread loads in task manager with GW2 loaded on high/ultra settings.

The fact they made it an ultra rare drops just shows that Anet was testing something here with the community. They knew that the community wanted to hide their shoes for the longest time, they knew that if they limited the drops that the price would sky rocket. That would yield more Gem sales for those that really really really wanted the shoes but were not available to put time in for the farm of those mushrooms.

well played Anet, but I knew what you were doing the day you made that item available. just like with the Holiday Shoulder effect items. its all fabricated to drive gem sells, one way or the other, and you screw your player base in the process.

“What we are planning to do going forward is that we are going to shorten the span for the next launch of the expansion pack. So right now we are in the phase for preparing for the 2nd expansion pack we ae going to shorten the launch timing between the different boxes that we launch to create more momentum. "

Good to see ArenaNet doubling down with their quantity over quality strategy.

Remember, this isn’t ANet saying this but NCSOFT to analysts, which is what they want to hear. They don’t care about any of the games NCSOFT markets, just the bottom line. Don’t forget, NCSOFT said an expansion was coming a year after the game launched in a conference call.

That was on a call though, if its on paper its more tangible.
Just like the 2015 Jan 3rd Budget report that projected what the Expansion set to release was going to make, I would put more weight into something down in a Financial document then something over a conference call.

I will never buy another expansion for this game.HoT taught me that Anet cannot do expansions for GW2 well. It took them 6 MONTHS to fix everything they broke when they released HoT. And they canceled one of HoT many selling points, New Legendary Weapons. I wont buy into that BS again.

Nope, GW2 as is for me here on out. If they want to drop new zones/story and charge for entry into them that is one thing. But to do another complete overhaul of the game? No I will not partake.

we don’t even have the game engine fixed yet. Really, what did we get that we paid for? Not a whole lot.

You people blaming Anet security and the poor dupe who probably lost his/her job, consider the real culprit was one of us – a vile, nasty little player. Yuck.

Does not really matter who hacked the account, what matters is how they were able to get away with it. And yes that solely falls on Anets lack of security and the CSR that let it happen for not following policy.

Game companies are not banks. There isn’t the same amount of risk involved. But the world is changing as is the nature of online gaming and your suggestion is a good one for them to consider.

Nope, that they are not. But Game companies often do store info such as Paypapl account info, CC info, home address, real names, birth dates…enough information for someone to steal your Identity if they wanted to.

But keep on thinking that Game companies don’t need similar level of security that you find at banks in today era of Technology.

Honestly the 2 best picks for diversity you listed are between the Engineer and Mesmer. The rest are more or less the same play styles through out their class.

I would say pick one, or maybe both, and get them to level 80 and then work on your play style. As you level you will find that your play style is going to be a lot different then when you are at 50, 65, 70 and then finally at 80. Then you have different game modes to consider too.

Last night a hacker socially engineered one of our CS agents to gain control of Gaile’s account, and accessed GW1 using it. Gaile of course has two-factor auth on her account, and despite the social engineering, the two-factor auth worked and protected her, so the hacker had no access to her forum or GW2 accounts. Only GW1 pre-dates our 2FA/SMS system.

To socially engineer the CS agent, the hacker provided a variety of personal details about Gaile. But we don’t accept personal details as primary proof of account ownership. We require things like verifying billing info, two-factor auth, access to the account’s primary phone number, or access to its primary IP address in cases where IP address ownership is clearly established. When we can’t verify, we decline access, knowing that incorrectly declining is an unfortunate but better outcome than incorrectly granting access. These are all established and documented policies. We have a great team of customer support agents who follow these policies, and the hacker tried a bunch of times and found one agent who didn’t.

We take your account security seriously and will continue to do everything we can to ensure that our support team consistently applies this security policy and prioritizes protecting you from account hackers.

Mo

MO – then explain how exactly they obtained access into the GM’s account if you do not accept personal details as proof of account ownership.

So much contradiction in your statement there, its not even funny.

You say you take account security seriously, but with statements like that I cannot see how. If you have processes involved then singling out one CSR shouldn’t have been possible. With a weak link like that, there is no account security. PERIOD.

Honestly I dont understand why we cant just have 2 Experience bars that both get Fed. one for the spirit shard reward and one for the selected Mastery Track. Why must we even choose.

This makes me really think of the AA Experience from back in Everquest days, where the Player had to choose what % to take from Leveling their character in order to earn AA points to spend on bettering their character along side leveling. (And for Raids you were REQUIRED to have X amount of points, when I quit EQ I had short of 800~ AA)

It was a broken system then and its a broken system now. There really is no place for this ‘selective’ EXP in GW2. Just make everything level for all players. You get Experience at 80 for shards and the same experience is also put into your mastery track.

Its bad enough we are gated/locked behind masteries in order to progress in the game, but for it to cost us standard experience and remove the shards as a reward is just another slap in the face.

Recipe drops devalued

what they should do is tier the recipe drops based on quality, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare..ect. Account bound everything up to Rare and have your character auto learn it, and if the account has it the drop is ignored and removed. Then the Rare and Ultra rare drops should be tradable.

that would be ideal I would think. No more messy recipes (tired of the breathers from FoTM encryptions to be honest…)

Things that this game needs to make VR work

I use Stream Theater with my GearVR to play GW2 sometimes and most of what you talk about doesn’t happen there. I suggest looking into it.

But there are a lot of things that GW2 needs to be VR friendly. Better 3D support, Motion Tracking, as well as controller support for perception with the Vive. Fully customization HUD for Placement…ect.

GW2 is really an old game, and unless they redesign their engine with VR in mind its not going to get better then it currently is.

Also the Chat box can be ignored if you run VoIP instead (teamspeak). My only real concern would be skill icons and health bar placement. Everything else has adjustments that can be done.

what about the mesmer? I think thats a good mix from the guard and would compliment the Ele really well. And you can run them in every game mode with very little variance if you want.

Best part of all, they can generate a nice range of Boons and then copy them to your party, as well as offer a nice rotation of CC while doing that.

as others have said, test it out with the boost. But another way to test it out is to jump into sPVP and see how the flow works against the AI testing NPCs. Its not as good as going into SV with the boost but its faster IMHO.

Also, incase you didnt know, sPVP tracks reward leveling Tomes. As well as the daily login rewards. So you should be fine using the 80boost on one character while stock piling the tomes to do a 3rd. So dont get too stressed out about the choice.

I was a vanilla WoW raider, and one thing I initially found strange was the lack of the gear thread mill. You don’t need to repeatedly do lesser raids in order to be adequately geared for the next raid up. In fact, you can obtain best-in-slot gear without even touching end game content via crafting.

Now I actually prefer this system, because if I fail where others succeed, I know it’s a matter of improving my skills and not because of gear imbalance. Success is all the more satisfying as a result.

Same here, I did the whole Gear treadmill since Everquest back in 1999, through to when I quit WoW A year before GW2 was released. The best thing about GW2 is its mainly skill based, and there is really no gearcheck needed. Just spec and stat weights.

I just wish Ascended had more tuning options similar to what you can do with Exotic (Those Gems, i really miss them)

Itll handle GW2 ok on high. But make sure you turn on reflections to sky/ground only, Character Limit to Medium, Low, or Lowest, and consider running vSync to reduce the Thermals your laptop is going to take while running the game.

I have a lesser laptop that runs the game at 1080p on high with the settings I said to turn down, and I get 60FPS locked via vSync in most areas of the game (Bosses, and large Events will drop down to 30~).

Looking for help choosing a support class

sirsquishy.2619

Mesmers are probably the most versatile support class in the game. You have such build diversity it can give you a headache. In HoT maps I run a stun build on my Mesmer while the 2-3 other players are DPSing the mobs down via AOEs I run AOE stuns into the Pack and keep them standing still while they die. All while grabbing Might stacks + another Random boon with ‘almost’ every stun. I then have a choice to use my signet to share my boons with the rest of the party. Depending on the party make up Ill swap out Precision(I get Fury Boons a lot with stuns) for Healing Power (700~ or so) and trait from Chrono down to a the healing trait to get AOE heals on Mantra charges. So that not only I can stun my targets but I can now heal all 5 players for 2300 health on every mantra recharge.

I did all LS2 and all of HoT’s Story on my mesmer solo. So its very capable for survival. You just gotta learn the timing and not button mash. There is an elegance to be had when Playing a mesmer.

I can go on the same amount about the guardian (Dragon Hunter Really), but that’s the class I use for FoTM/Raids/Dungs. I don’t really do open world events with my Guardian. I prefer my Mesmer for that.

Surprised no one went over combat and the lack of the holy Trinity in the game.

So unlike WoW there is no Tank/healer/CC Role in this game. Every Class offers the same utility, and some are better at it then others. However every Class’s Role is to output Damage no matter the play style.

This is important to know for Dungeons and Fractals. Raids are a little bit different but I’ll get to that in a min.

There are 3 Main healing Types for classes, Ranger (Druid Elite Spec) Elementalist (Water Attuned), and Guardian (Passive healing to party on Crits when Traited), then you have a few minor classes such as the Mesmer (Mantra Passive Healing on Charge/banking)…ect. There are other ways to heal using Sigil’s and runes (Sigil of Water for AOE Healing on hit…ect).

Personally my Favorite healing setup is a Greatsword Guardian due to the damage output + Passive traited healing and is one of the easiest classes to run with. Think of WoW Paladin and that is a Guardian in a nutshell.

There are classes that offer CC abilities, but the Lock down only lasts for .5sec to 1.5seconds on average so its more of a ‘bar breaker’ move then a ‘stun this Mob for 30 seconds’ like you would see in WoW and the Thief’s Sap ability. One example would be a Stun traited Mesmer, with the right setup they can dish out 5-6 different stuns/CC effects that offer some nice burst damage relief when the target is susceptible to them.

Then you have Tanking. This is mixed as technically there is no ‘tank’ role in the non-raid setting. Aggro is tied to armor raiting and usually all players are running a healthy mix of Berserker’s gear or gear with max Condi/power on it and normalize on Toughness. So your target will bounce around from Player to Player until its dead. The Exception would be Ranged Players, Mobs are API’d to focus on melee range Players when they are doing comparable damage as to your Ranged Player.

The exception rule to this is Raids. There is a tank role in Raids due to needing to Position the bosses around. This is when a player will take a higher Toughness raiting (3000+) and sacrifice on the rest of the stats to make sure they have the focus on their target. Now this rule applies to the rest of the game mode, but everywhere else you want to be competitive in your DPS output mixed with your play Style so normally you would not take Toughness as a main stat elsewhere.

Combat, as I’m sure you are finding out, is a lot different then in WoW. For one, you have that nice Dodge. Get really familiar with Dodge and timing it. You can Dodge ranged Attacks, Ground AOE damage, Melee Hits that would normally kill you….ect. The combat in this game is pretty reactive IMHO, you cant just stand in the fire and spam your skills and hope to survive, you have to move around. And since the Update they have really cleaned up AOE ground rings so you can see more clearly the direction the AOE is going to hit and dodge behind it.

The first Dungeon you gain access to is Ascalonian Catacombs. The story mode opens at level 30 and the Exploration Paths (there are 3 separate ones) open at 35. I highly suggest doing Story at 30, but you can get away with Exploration at 32~ if you are running the highest gear for the level with all the Gems/Runs/Sigils you have access to. And don’t let those level 80 elitist ruin the experience for you, try and form your own level 40~ group to really experience the Dungeon as it was meant to be experienced.

https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ascalonian_Catacombs

But the rest you will have more fun finding out I think.

It was also possible to put versatile infusions.

yea it was, but not anymore. The Neck slot is now worthless when only considering Agony.

I dont understand this move really, it was the first easy ascended that all players could obtain and get a +5 base AR going.

The Potion change is nice, but I do not want to have to rely on a consumable to make up for the +7 loss.

They changed the name, changed the type of the 3 different utility (offensive, Defensive and utility), and dropped AR as one of the possibilities from this slot (no more +7 infusion for your neck)

That is what I think happened (have not logged in to verify yet)

If so, then there is no point to the Neck for Ascended if you are building an AR ‘set’ (Stupid kitten filter).

The 260x has power issues and to fix it you need to install MSI afterburner and set the power limit to +20 and disable the ULPS in options.

99% of the time that fixes performance issues with the 7000 series based AMD GPUs (the 260x is actually a 7790)

the other 1% of the time for these guys, your PCIE link is not 16x and rather 1×. Then you have to pull the GPU out and dust out the slot and reinstall it.

Check your Graphical settings and make sure that the ingame character limit is set to Low or Lowest. As the more characters are on the screen the more work the CPU has to do, lowering the FPS.

In the last couple of patches I have noticed that my graphical settings are being reset to the ‘performance’ profile and wiping my custom settings. The same thing could be happening here.

I have noticed that AMD processors tend to get worse performance (atleast in GW2) than Intel ones.

Guild Wars 2 is VERY cpu dependent (and poorly optimized) game. I have Intel i5 4670k and I recently upgraded my GTX 960 to GTX 1060, and I did not gain a single FPS better performance than before.

The only suggest I can give you is to upgrade your hardware, mainly motherboard, processor and RAM for much smoother performance.

If you run the game at 1080p or a lessor Resolution that would explain why the 960 to 1060 didnt help much. But Ill bet you were not running the game on max settings on the 960 though. with the 1060 you can (its faster then a GTX980), and not lose performance. You still need to turn down Character Limit settings to Medium, Low, or Lowest depending on the zone and population around you for best performance.

as for the name it stands for does not concern you.

The issue is your Processor. It is not fast enough for the game in its current state.

the only thing you can do is lower all the settings to medium or low, and run Character Limit on Lowest, turn off Post Processing Effects and disable Shadows.

Your hardware is from 2008-2009, its time to upgrade.

Memory will run at the highest speed of the lowest configured DIMM when you run them in pairs. So if you mix 1333 and 1600, they will both run at 1333. Same applies to Cas Latency settings, but the highest common SPD stored CL rating will be used.

The same applies to DDR4 (which has been out in the market for a while now..)

What matters when Mixing DIMMs, along with Speed/CAS/Voltage, is also the Rank config of each Stick. Single rank, Dual Rank, and quad rank cannot be mixed. Most ram is dual rank (2 64kittenannels on the DIMM) but if you mix ram that is a single rank it tends to cause issues, and this is highly overlooked.

Crash logs only takes minutes to send to ANet. When the crash occurs you are prompt whether to send it or not. All you need to do is click on send.

There is no such “prompt” or log when GW2 crashes your complete system to “off”. Not only the application, from one second to the next. I don’t state that it is absolutely sure GW2.exe but it only occures when playing GW2 for 15 to 20 minutes… and not occuring with any other game, application even benchmark tests… so I’m pretty sure…

Crashing full system to off? gw2 can’t do that, it lacks the kernal-level access needed to cause a crash that catastrophic.

Depends on the cause. If something in the code caused overheating it would cause a system crash. Which could happen for players on systems that barely meet recommended specs.

If your PC powers off due to thermal issues, its not the software its the cooling system in the PC thats to blame. Yes, Software can make a system pull a 100% load, but the cooling in PCs are designed to sustain such a load for hours if not days with out harming the hardware.

Powering off like that is probably a CPU thermal protection event. The OP can trace it using various tools (Prime95 for thermal Testing, HWInfo/CoreTemp for system/CPU temps and GPU-Z for GPU temps). The OP needs to troubleshoot why his system powered off a bit. And the first thing to do there is always to pull simulated full load temps while monitoring.

Like I said, likely only an issue for players running at or near minimum requirements.

The code of Sims 3 made one of my old desktop barely be able to run it and would lag like crazy. But that was due to me having a processor that wasn’t at minimum specs.

And if he’s got a generic store bought premade PC (ie: not one of the stores noted for making gaming PC’s) it may not be built for withstanding the load gaming puts on systems. Which was my issue for Sims 3.

And the first thing he should do is pull it out open it up and make sure it isn’t a dust issue. Because that’s the easiest to check and fix.

Thanks for agreeing with me. But it doesnt matter how old or weak the OPs PC is, it should be able to sustain a max load with out powering off under any condition. Per the cooling spec.

Honestly staying with your 4590 isnt a bad option. Granted you can get more FPS by upgrading to a K or C model if you have a Z series motherboard (the Broadwell-c’s do require a Z97 though), and overclocking to 4.4ghz+. Its just that the upgrade isnt really worth it for GW2 alone.

Your logical upgrades are as follows though

4670K(Z87/Z97), 4690K(Z87/Z97), 5675c(Requires Z97)
4770K(Z87/Z97), 4790K(Z87/Z97), 5775c(Requires Z97)

The only drop in on a H or B series Chipset would be the 4790k due to it being the fastest clocked Haswell CPU there is. 4.0ghz base 4.4ghz Turbo, the Medium Clock while loaded is 4.2ghz. But that is a 350USD CPU. The only other 2 options would be a 4690 or the 4790 as those are the 2nd highest Clocked CPUs stock, however neither of these can be overclocked which is why you would only pair them with a B or H chipset.

But have a look here for a good Idea of what to expect.

has to be in windowed mode for Surround/eyefinity to work correctly.

Please can someone work this into the game?

what we need is an elite spec trait slot, instead of it taking over a core trait line. Maybe not right now since we only have 1 Spec, but when we get the 2nd Specs I think we need to have 4 trait lines.

THAT will be as long as we can get to having dual professions. As it is right now, Elite specs Nerf many of the core builds in order to take them. Granted a ton of balancing has been done around it, but Elite shouldn’t be any stronger then Core builds, it should just be a new way to play your class.

Match me with players without HoT.

Since sPVP is their eSport and they are doing cash give a ways to winning teams, sPVP should be unlocked for all players to level the playing field.

sPVP is a very small part of what GW2 has to offer and since its an isolated game mode there is no logical reason they shouldn’t unlock the elite specs/tracks for all players evenly.

This is just one of the many reasons I refuse to partake in the sPVP side the game.

well since the launch of HoT they have been fixing the game. Just by reading through the patch notes that much is apparent. So thats why we have had such content Gaps. But I still cant excuse it. we paid money for Access into HoT and it took them 7 Months to deliver many of the much needed fixes to make it playable (Have not had a DS crashed Map since May).

They needed to delay Hot and deliver Fillers into HoT’s story instead. Instead of releasing an unfinished Product. its not like HoT was unpolished and just needed to be tuned. They had to fix most of what the Expansion brought to the game.

And All I can hope for is that the break from HoT to LS3 is so that Anet, Finally, releases a complete product that is just short of Tuning and Polishing rather then a rushed incomplete pile of trash. Much like what HoT was when it was released.

So from Oct when hoT was released until April you were unable to really dive into HoT? And you find that a good deal?

I could play HoT, it’s just I didn’t want too. The long metas, unstable client, increased GPU requirements for similar frame rate, the time of day locks of adventures, etc really put me off. But money paid, couldn’t get it back, oh well. But I did unlock gliding one so that kept me happy in core Tyria and I was one of the few players who seem to like the dessert borderlands. Of course it’s last version of DB before being swapped was better and if the poll results are any indication, we will see them again.

I got 4400 hours in this game and I still haven’t done my PS to completion on any character. Same with LS2. I don’t have enough mastery points in central Tyria to unlock and get autoloot. I’m not into fractals and dungeons were more toxic than PvP and ANet decided to lock up a LOT of central Tyria mastery points in those areas. In HoT all I need to do is visit a local to get a mastery point or get gold in an adventure. In central Tyria I need to buy a full set of race armor for a ungodly amount or get all the diving goggles including one that’s at the end of one of the more difficult JPs and it’s a blind jump into a bucket. Bringing a mesmer and revive orbs is a kitten requirement otherwise it’s another 10+ minutes to get back to that location to try again. Order of difficulty difference in getting MPs is still outrageous, but it gave me something to strive for.

And that’s the key to GW2, setting your own goals rather than expecting to be spoon fed content while being shuttled around from zone to zone.

my entire comment was based on the fact you weren’t really able to enjoy the HoT paid content for almost 7 months after buying it. And IMHO that is worth something. Even if you do not feel that way, a large portion of the player base does.

And that is why Anet is not equipped to deliver an expansion. It took them 7 months to make it playable for a player such as yourself.

With how they are going to pack LS3 behind the Login screen, roll down updates to 2-3 months for Gaps, it just feels like more of the same over the last 2 years.

This year, they have polished and fixed the game more then anything else. Then we got some recycled content drops mixed in with 2 new Raid wings and some other polishes.

The same can be said before HoT was released. But nothing really new as they were working on HoT at the time. So Just bug fixes/Polish/Balance for the last 2 years.

and you are ok with that?

HoT was/is a complete disaster for an expansion. They released it incomplete and let the players figure out tricks to get through most of it. Then 7 months later they actually FIX their mistakes and finish/Polish off what HoT should have been delivered as.

Personally I think Anet owes its entire player base compensation for the mess-up of the expansion. And one way they can start is by going good on their word and unlock LS3 for every HoT enabled account with out requiring anyone to login.

But we knew well before HoT was released the further LS were tied to the requirement of owning HoT. We are talking well over a year that we knew this to be a requirement. A bit late to be upset by that.

I think you are missing the point here. The entire purpose of this thread is that LS3 is only included with HoT if you login while the Chapters/releases are available.

Sure they are making it retained on F2P accounts so that if they buy HoT they can jump in. But they should just activate LS3 on all HoT level accounts regardless if they login or not. As the idea has been that LS3 was going to be apart of HOT. And there should be no ‘If’ with it.

And this is no different than LS 2. You had to own the game because there wasn’t a F2P option at that point. And if you missed the window that’s 200 gems. Times 8 and that’s $20€ for LS content because you weren’t paying attention. At least they’ve been offering a bundle deal for all the episodes you missed for 20% off, now 40% for the next two weeks.

But now we get an 8 to 12 week window for each episode (let’s say we are getting 3 episodes minimum). If we can keep getting updates at this rate while they are also prepping the next paid expansion, I’ll be happy.

When I played City of Heroes, our free content/technical updates ranged from roughly 8 weeks for the shortest to 32 weeks for the longest. Time between HoT and LS3, 39 weeks, but for me the April Update made HoT finally accessible to me.

So from Oct when hoT was released until April you were unable to really dive into HoT? And you find that a good deal?

^Right there it says these Living World/Story releases are comparable to 9 or 10 of the previous LW/S releases. If so, that would indicate the 8-episode arcs would be completed in just one release, not 2 years.

I’d guess it’s better to wait and see, than predict the ‘sky is falling’ prematurely.

“Living World Season 3 episodes will release every 2–3 months. "

unless each Episode is 3+ chapters, no it will take 2 years or so for the complete LS3 to finish. Normally an Episode is a chapter. Unless Anet is changing the tradition of that here.

and no, its not the sky is falling its more like a lot of are tired of the past and current release schedules they have been doing. And from the LOOKS of what they are saying about how LS3 is going to drop, its just more of the same. But now they are going to package Recycled content + LS3 chapters + QoL changes + sPVP seasons + Polish/Bug-Fixes/Tuning all in one or 2 patches every 2-3 months now. Just to make the patches seem larger, when in reality nothing is going to change.

I mean, and dont get me wrong here, I hope I am not correct on this. But if you look at all the previous patch history with the current statements they are making, this is exactly what can be predicted.

However MO indicated that these episodes will be larger. Whether you believe him or not is totally your issue.

History speaks for itself, and we have 2 years of release history to work with. The fact you WANT to trust MO is more drinking the coolaid then living in reality.

Where does it say there will be 6-8 chapters?

There were 8 in Season 2, but Season 1 had at least 16 (29 if you count every release before the first break, I can think of numerous ways to count it that produce other totals).

That’s all that we’ve got to go on so far.

And at some point we’re going to have a second expansion.

I am going on past based releases. But the fact remains they are stating LS3 chapter Updates every 2-3 months, if there are 8 (Like in LS2) then we can expect LS3 to take 2 years~ before we get the entire release rather then 6-8 months.

I get they want to stagger releases, but common. The last 2 years of release for this game has been a complete Joke. All that HoT Hype, and nothing from jan-2015 until HoT was released, and then only 2 new Content drops with the 3rd being the HoT fixes (IMHO what hot needed to be at release so I do NOT count that as a content release, just a Bug/Balance Fix) since HoT.

And it seems that is going to be what we need to expect for this game moving forward with comments like ‘Every 2-3 Months’ from the Blog Post.

But I cannot accept it like this. When the game first shipped the content updates being on a 2 week in cycle and a 4 week out cycle was nice. They need to go back to that model but sparse it out more to a 4-6 week in cycle and possible a 8-12 week out cycle. That would be FAR better then this 2-3month LS3 chapter plan they currently have.

And I am sorry, but I will NEVER buy a 2nd Expansion for this game. HoT was a lesson to be learned. Anet does NOT have the resources to drop a quality Expansion for this game. Period.
