I’ve recently crafted two professions to 400, nearly 12 months into playing my main. I can safely attest to it being wholly unnecessary for normal gameplay and gearing up. My preference and suggestion is to make sure you complete your dailies and monthlies (most of the time mine are done before i even track them) andnd accumulating that karma to buy your gear with.
It’s easy enough to level on greens and then jump straight to exotics from Orr karma vendors.
Disclaimer: by all means, craft away if it floats your boat – just saying you shouldn’t feel you have to.
For me and members of my guild players using up WvW spaces to ‘duel’ each other at the expense of our WvW events became a real issue before we moved server. If you would like to duel then the place to do so is sPvP when they introduce the private instances. Im all for people having fun but when it disrupts others who just want to come on and actually participate in WvW then im against it.
This. I’m all for you guys having fun and wouldn’t go out of my way to disrupt it…
But I’d be annoyed to be sitting in a queue because some BL is taken up with duellers.
Say some members of a guild move server and others decide to stay, all remaining in the same guild. If the ones that moved buy the guild stash upgrade, will they have access to the same bank tab? I.e. will they share the same storage space and stored items?
I’m using the Razer Naga with 12 buttons on the thumb side (rather skillessly) as well as the nostromo. That plus team speak means I don’t use my keyboard much.
I have however taken a break from the mouse for a week recently. Because RSI.
okay I was looking… why do none of the temples have Power, Tough Vit leg armor? There is the PTV armor for all the other slots, just not leg armor, so I was wondering why the oversight?
I’m assuming you’re after medium or light types, which indeed don’t have PVT legs available.
If heavy, Melandru or Balthazar will do but I doubt it’s the case as you wouldn’t have found a helm either.
You can always grab the missing piece from a dungeon (and transmute to any Orr leg if you want the skin). AC and HOTW, for example, are some options.

1.) what made you choose and stay on the server you’re on?(guilds and friends aren’t a valid reason since transfers were free for four months)
2.) what will it take for the wvw players to get you into wvw?
3.) wvw benefits your dungeon runs, do you not agree that helping us get the buffs you benefit from is the right thing to do?
4.)is it the repair bill that scares you out?(i know pve players with upwards of 200g, so the fact that they’re scared of a 10s repair bill is confusing)
5.) why would a risen priestess of milandru be impressed with your Sunrise?
6.) to my GOM bros specifically, some of the PvE guilds on our server are upwards of 300+(and active), can you grasp how much of a difference just 1/10 of your guild members would make if they were active in wvw daily?

Not a PVE exclusive here but…
1. Guilds and friends. You don’t get to tell anyone what their answer can be.
2. Better rewards would get me there more often. Badges? Meh. Zerging? Meh. Tbh you should be the one telling us what you see in WvW that is so wonderful. It’s a bag full of meh most of the time. It would take something like enemies dropping rares (like lowbie area champs do now) to see a real change happen.
3. By your logic, you should drop WvW immediately. Here you are working hard to provide your server’s playerbase all those wonderful buffs. Ungrateful kittens they are.
4. Oh, sure. I’d be naked before I knew it. Next.

6. You need to improve your selling points before reaching out to your server with a request like this.
I’ve gone back to desktop. I got to the point where I had my laptop hooked to a monitor, keyboard and mouse setup simply because I didn’t ever never to move my laptop anywhere.
And it started again. I had this issue last night and, like every issue I’ve had with this launcher, none of my modem or computer settings were to blame. It just mysteriously “fixed itself”.
Very frustrating that I can log off, take a break and come back to try and play the game only to find out that the launcher doesn’t work again.
I’ve had issues with this launcher several times now. Every single time I rushed to google and started trying things out such as playing with firewall, resetting my modem etc. Turns out every single time, it was server or launcher related.
I will wait this time.
PS. And bloody hell, guess what? I try it again, immediately after posting this and it worked. Downloading a new patch now it seems.

You’re trolling right? So far, for every slot ascended has been made for, there is a berzerker option available – Red Ring of Death, Crystaline Band, do you even know what you’re talking about?
There’s no Knights option, no Carrion option, no Rampagers, no option for the healers, yet it caters heavily to the crit/burst builds without any stat compromise to their build.
Aggro much? No, I’m not trolling. I’ve only recently got somewhat close to ‘end game’ and am obviously still learning what there is. No shame in that. You, however, going out of your way to bash my response is just pitiful.
Yep, the daily swapped over. Now ya gotta kill 13 different creatures, revive 10 people, dodge 15 attacks, gather 20 resource and complete 5 events.
