yea this is why wvw is dead again, instead of this new reward system they should of just gave wvw players more gold cause at the end of the day you still have to pve to get your gear.

all i want to do is just play wvw to get the gear i need for wvw, not have to pve for it.

they should also make it so that i dont have to keep switching my pets back and forth when i switch between wvw and pve

settlers and soldiers amulet were taken out cause they wanted to make the game “deadlier”

DH is like the master yi of gw2. lower ranks don’t know how to deal with em but doesn’t really work in higher ones.

tell your buddies to play dh themselves to give them an idea of what too look out for and what to do against them.

seems there are problems with life stealing in general. sigils like leeching and blood aren’t dealing damage and just getting the heal instead of the life steal.

can confirm has this been fixed yet?

and the other day i lost 3 pips after someone on my team kept dcing. good thing no one takes this game seriously cause the devs obviously don’t.

if you want to play a tanky sturdy that can be in the middle of team fights? pick a light armor class

if you want to be a bruiser type, play a medium armor class

if you want to be a glass cannon play a heavy armor class

it’s like they got everything backwards.

i run something similar but once your mmr settles down (yes you have low mmr when you first start playing a new class) you’ll find that you just get outclassed by a lot of things.

pros of condi berserker: insane condi burst, you can actually tear down tempests and druids pretty quickly with all the pressure you deal.

cons: free kill for a reaper, dh, revs, scrapper, and can’t 1v1 tempets with diamond skin.

i run something similar in pvp with slightly different traits with viper amulet and krait runes. if the warrior you saw was a short norn with white armor with an eye patch it was probly me cause i’ve been running this build non-stop.

yea why not? i only really have problems when i get queued against the pro players cause their team comp is usually better and way more organized, but other than that you should be able to be fine in solo q

honestly it’s not really warrior, i actually think warrior is fine and balanced along with thieves. it’s just that the other 7 elite specs are so op kittenin broken

like literally 1 meta ago we were a really good class, then as soon as HoT dropped we fell off real quick. if they just toned down all the other classes we’d be viable again.

while i do miss some traits like reckless dodge and building momentum, there is 1 reason to take berserker with headbutt, and that’s to headbutt > berserk mode > hundred blades. it’s like a free skull crack without having to take mace. and that we just got a little more buffs so we’ll see how it goes lol.

So while my MMR quickly sunk as soon as the patch hit like probably every warrior out there, I’m slowly bringing myself back up with the only build I’ve used that doesn’t make me feel like a liability. Sure it’s not the most viable thing out there but hey, gotta make use of what we got right?

This just plays like basic warrior LB/Gs but now with berserker you can you can do a couple more combos like headbutt > berserk mode > hundred blades > arcing slice or w/e. Then just unload kitten on point with your longbow so you don’t get blown up in team fights. And finally, the primal burst on greatsword actually isn’t too bad (unlike the hammer one).

So basically, the only good thing about berserk mode is that you get a perma 1 stack of stability, using it as a stunbreak, and umm it has a cool animiation?

When I tried to teach them how to run things properly, they told me that a newb [me] should be more respectful toward veteran members and they have the right to play however they want.

yea and those are the people complaining about ascended gear. the thing is, even with ascended gear or not, they still wouldn’t be able to do raids cause they don’t even know how to play the game.

hammer primal burst needs to be reverted to the way it was, right now it hits like a wet noodle and doesn’t even cc. you kind of lose the utility of the hammer in berserk mode cause the burst is just a leaping skill now.

it needs to either just hit hard or not hit so hard but cc people.

the graphic settings seem to reset whenever you go into a loading screen, cutscene, or underwater.

what you can do for now is just do “autodetect” then do “best performance,” to make it playable. but you gotta do this every time it resets.

i just noticed that my graphics settings reset not just whenever i zone or get out of a cut scene but every time i go underwater as well.

so what your team was full of scrubs it was a good thing they kicked you even though you shoulda just ditched them sooner. but never really cared, dungeons are super casual anyway, i’ll go into dungeons with full condi gear or use unconventional weapons like warrior hammer idgaf

basically your graphics setting will keep resetting each time you zone or get out of a cutscene so you’re gonna have to reconfigure it every time.

try toggling back and forth between auto detect then best performance. you’re gonna have to do this every time you zone or get out of a cutscene though.

massive fps drop since patch. i think the same thing happened with the patch 5 months ago as well.

same here, what ever happened in the patch made the game unplayable for me.

yea i like what he did with mesmer, necros, and warriors. if i wanted to play a trapper longbow ranger i would play kittenin ranger, not as a guardian. i like how the mesmer, necro, and warrior specializations stayed true to its class.

berserker is looks kittenin dope, it’s gonna need a lot of buffs if it’s gonna be usable in pvp though (mainly cause we’re gonna have to give up either strength or defense for it). i also think they should of left the 33% attack speed cause 10% isn’t even noticeable.

did the op even read the post? torch and one of the trait lines are the only ones that has anything to do with condi, other than that berserker looks kittenin dope. wish they’d have a beta open to the public cause i want to try it out.

berserker’s strength seems to not work with longbow at all

and there seems to be a problem with sigil of blood on my norn warrior where it’s not scaling right and or not even showing up in the combat log while it shows me leeching 975 health in the combat log when i’m on my asuran warrior.

i hope they optimize the camera stuff some more cause my game is not quite performing as good as it was pre patch. i have noticed an improvement since yesterday though.

i think it may be a compatibility issue for us since it’s not just low end computers that are getting fps drops. they might have changed stuff with the game that could be less compatible with our hardware

yea everyone has an had an fps drop, i think it has something to do with the UI cause when you make it disappear your fps goes back to what it was. this game has been unplayable for a lot of people since patch
