Hello.
Just logged into game and received email with header: The Guild Wars 2 Customer Support Team.
Mail contains 3 unlocked BLTC chests and text saying that this is “replacement items”.
I did not submit any support tickets about BLTC chests/keys issues. However I do open around 15 chests in one turn several days ago. May be this is somehow related.
Question is:
Does this chests automatically mailed to me after support/game itself decides that something goes wrong with my open chests/keys and I can use them?
Or this is a mistake of support team/game and chests shall be removed from mail?
May be peoples in PuG’s encounter full berserk ele’s?
Same for me. Bit bugged: 3 Toxx in objective list. But only one actually spawned at end. Chest & rewards are OK.
Alt+F4 is no escape
If someone that you’re fighting disconnects during combat (via Alt+F4, killing the client process, etc.) their character will be instantly killed, death penalties will be applied, and XP & loot will be handed out as usual.
Why did not implement industry standard disconnect/reconnect feature?
I.e. when someone DC-ed (or client crashed) he remains in the world until timer in non-combat mode expires. So if some DC-ed in middle of fight: he remain standing still until downed then defeated; or: combat finished, he goes out of combat, timeout triggered and he removed from WWW.
Same time those DC-ed peoples shall has an reconnect timer of couple minutes. I.e. when they are reconnects into game in that time span they are appears in nearest way point of WWW.
Please Anet remove MAGIC FIND from the game altogether.
From gear and food. MF can be used as dungeon difficulty buff.
For example FOTM can provide Lvl * 2% MF boost.
I has problem with ruined ore/planks when mobs attacks me while I gather node.
Before last huge patch that issue was very rare. Now it is happends much more often.
Last time I was fully repaired. Don’t think those are connected, but they may be somehow related.
FoTM are designed as difficulty scaling place. Testing your skill, group play, etc. But… You can’t test it properly because of random. WoW move out from random drops to token/badge system. Why reinvent same fail idea of RNG drops for important things?
OK, 1 random ring does not hurt my build too much, but this is only a beginning. There is 2nd ring. And later on more RNG BoA equip.
Anet may do rings BoE, so we can sell/buy what we need.
Anet may do rings only stubs just like backpieces: you get a ring, then you take tokens, bloods/scales/etc and throw that into forge to get desired ring.
Just sounds another person who isn’t proactive to make a group or use the lfg site.
I finish forming a group into FoTM after 40 minutes I join party of 2 ppls. So we look for 2 more for 40(!) minutes using different LA overflows AND LFG site.
Same story… we go into dungeon and stuck at that boss.
Almost a week pass after bug became known – still no fix.
Every proffesion has great mobility but you don’t want to use it. Name one proffesion that has no mobility options.
Name great mobility options for guardian please.
it is NOT our fault we have most of the time 2/3 orbs !

We are. And we hope, devs will remove that nasty orbs from thiefs. Or add them to other professions.

Yes. You can do great burst AND by hyper-mobile AND be invisible at same build. How? Simple: full bers + shadow signet + initiative. Bingo.

The problem is… thief is invis, so you don’t know where he goes. Ouch. Moreover, you can’t use targeted skills on him.
Also, bugged rendering issue helps them a lot. 3 sec of revealed debuff they are still “invis”.

OFC this is completely different build, but he demonstrate the OP-nes of invis + initiative.
This lack of understanding about how stealth works diminishes the strength of your other arguments. Stealth functions in no way similar to invulnerability.
The lack of experience with perma stealth thiefs in www diminishes all other your arguments. I may describe how invis ~= invul, but you will not listen. Enter www and see by yourself.

other classes does not possess neither such huge burst, neither such huge amount of charge/escape abilities nor they do has perma invis ~= invul. It is easier to fix one class, intead of adding burst, charges and invul to other 7 classes.

So Anet need to buff 7 classes. But hey, they can just fix thief and bingo x7 less work to do.
You wouldn’t have enough damage to kill them before they would burn you.
Actually you may have enough damage to kill thief. The problem is: you cant kill him. Because he has the most charge abilities then any other class has.
Right now I enter www, and encounter thief. He try to BS me but I manage to recover his burst and bring him to 1/3 hp. He switch to bow and 5-5-5 from me. I cant catch him with constant swiftness + GS charge. He only has bow and +25% move speed from signet.
90% of times I can catch any profession, its not a case with thief.
In mirrored situation I will not escape him. He will just leap on me 24/7.
I was sending white drops (and some green for sell) to my wife for salvaging for monthly achievement and receive this message when I try to send another mail to her.
For what reason any game can decide that messages to my wife must be “suppressed”?
May be dev’s just lift this limit for mutual friends?
4+h spent there. I only saw 1st chest 2 times. Both of them he already was in goo.
I gave up. The most stupid holiday event I see in games so far.

Vote up. It does looks like very simple feature: forcibly fail event if that event is not finished in 1 (2, 3…) hours.
May be there is a problem with some events that can’t be failed, like some escort ones?
30 minute queue, 1 hour of play, kicked. Repeat.
Same here. 1 or 2 times it loads. But next time load screen will not disappear in minutes. Forcing to relog…
Its VERY frustrating to get blocked from chat for 3 messages in 5 minutes. While other ppls can chat all day long…
More over, this system even works with /say chat. Which is kinda strange.
CM is super easy dungeon in story mode.
Try to do it again in story mode with ppls who already has dungeon experience. I am sure, you will feel the difference.
How long do you need to do events for that system kicks in?
Does it account wide or per character?
On one BWE I notice following thing: level 20 zone, I am 20lvl. Level up and my stats became lower then there are was on my level 20.
I am pretty sure nothing was changes in the system so far. Scaling up and down are simple and can produce strange results.
