I would like to add that all of my progress has also been undone.

Having this problem as well after the latest build.

All I know is that I had 20 supply on me and I wanted to get the extra 5 from a keep, so I waypointed to the keep. When I got there, it gave me 20 supply instead of giving me the 5 I thought it would. I had already been in EBG and was getting the extra 5 from that keep consistently, so I’m not sure about cooldowns. It just randomly decided that I needed 40 instead of 25 I guess. I wasn’t in a squad at all when I grabbed the supply.

I am going to switch characters and see if it’s still doing it. Maybe we can find out what’s going on.
Update: It gave me 5 instead of 20, so I’m still at a loss for what is happening.

I just encountered this. I went to pick up supplies (had 20, wanted 25 from keep) and I ended up with 40. I have no idea what caused it. This happened at green keep in EBG.

I personally kind of hope we get a free makeover kit or hair kit. I don’t need anything fancy and both of those things are always welcome in Fashion Wars 2.

Same question applies: do you have issues running other games?

Also, have you tried repairing your GW2 install?

If it effects other games/stress tests, it probably is a hardware issue. Those can be pretty hard to trouble shoot. Could be anything from heat to PSU to MB to GPU to CPU to RAM. I’ve had PSUs and RAM randomly fail on me causing really strange behaviour. You could try track it down by eliminating as many variables as possible:
Run a hardware monitor program while gaming and see if any components get abnormally hot
Remove GPU and use integrated graphics
If you have 2 or more sticks of RAM, remove one at a time
Use different RAM slots on your MB

Those are the easiest steps I can think of… after that, you may need to obtain/borrow a spare PSU, MB, etc. Or send it back to the shop.

Oh I’m absolutely positive it’s a hardware problem. All of this started occurring about a week ago. I know it’s not a heat issue and I don’t think it’s my gpu. It really does seem like loading things is the problem. I’ve ran tests on my RAM and cpu, but so far nothing has come back as “iffy”. I will try the things you suggested and see if I can narrow it down. Thanks for the suggestions!

I will add that changing my graphics settings to the lowest possible settings and turning my Sound quality down does nothing. It behaves this way regardless, which is why I think it’s more of a loading problem than a gpu problem.

I am having the same exact issue. I’ve checked everything I can check and everything is telling me my computer is cleaned up (no viruses or registry problems or anything) yet I’m having major problems seeing most things. My sound goes out as well. I’m not sure if it’s my gpu or something to do with my memory, as my problem appears to be that absolutely NOTHING wants to load. It comes and goes in spurts, but it seems like it’s not working at least 80% of the time for me. Are cut-scenes giving you problems as well? I’m stuck loading (my character just kind of stands there for an eternity after the cut-scene is supposed to start but nothing actually happens for a good 3 minutes. When they finally trigger, all of the audio is completely wonky.

What about commendations? Do I need to go ahead and spend the few that I have today or will they stick around?

I keep getting stuck as well, only for me, NOTHING seems to get me unstuck. It’s happened to me 4 times now on my warrior, and once on my uplevelled engi. It’s only happened in WvW and it’s incredibly frustrating. I was in EotM earlier today, and even with the cannons on BL’s side hitting me (and knocking me back), I still couldn’t move. Leaping, dodging, emoting…nothing works.

This karka is bugged for me as well. The door at the Inn is also bugged so nobody can get in.

I have the same face, and I’m having the same problem. A lot of helms actually clip with it. Granted, some are much worse than others. Here’s another one that’s terrible.

I really love this new living story episode. It was engaging and I was super impressed with Glint’s Lair. The only problem I have with it though, is that I did it all in a party with my friend. Since I let him lead most of the instances, I wasn’t able to interact with much. I can understand not being able to interact with main questline objects when you’re tagging along with someone, but I would’ve really enjoyed being able to read some of the things in the priory, and sadly, I was not. I couldn’t even see the textboxes of the books when my friend pulled them up to read them. Guess I’ll just have to play through everything solo.

Anyways, great job though, Anet. The new stuff is top quality, and I’m excited to see where it goes from here.

It took me a very long time to realize that I don’t even have a Black Lion Collections tab. I don’t know if this is normal or not.

After finding this in Hoelbrak, I think it’d be adorable if we could get a mini turkey around Thanksgiving.

What they need is to take the stats off these armours, and make them skins.

So when you buy them you get 1 free apply of the skin, people aren’t going to be asking about why cant the salvage. because it’s not armour, it’s a skin.

It’s what most people want them for anyway. and at least there wouldnt be transmute charge on top of the gold, for the first application of the skin.

I agree with this. Don’t even give this armor stats, because pretty much no one is using them for the stats anyways.

I just find this kind of silly. If I can salvage cultural armor (also bought with gold), why can’t I salvage Order armor? I can kind of understand the stuff bought with badges and karma, as they are different forms of currency, but if I’m paying strictly gold for something, what gives?

Just as the title states, I’m wondering why we aren’t allowed to salvage Order armors. I could understand why we couldn’t if they were purchased with karma, but we have to buy these skins with gold. Thankfully, I’ve only purchased one helm, so I won’t be making this mistake again.

I would pay big money for a voice change as well. I have 4 asura. I hate that they all sound exactly the same, especially since they are all so different. I’d like a deeper voice for my warrior for sure. Even if they just rehire some of the people that did the npc voices I’d be happy. Plenty of asura males have deeper voices.

The Magitech chest has a back piece built in. Textures are a little stretched on Charr, but it does not float or move randomly like all the other back items do.

No seriously, we really need more WvW people. I love this server, but we need a few more guilds that can give us more coverage. Our morale is a little low right now, but we still get out there and fight the best we can. Come join CD!

Most of the time. Like, 85% of the cut-scene. When he blinks, his eyes still move when they’re like that. They only time he’s not doing that with his eyes appears to be when he’s not angry or slightly agitated. Even when he’s just standing there listening to others, his eyes are shut.

Profession: Warrior, but it doesn’t matter

This issue has been driving me insane since release, and I’m surprised that no one has brought it up. It’s my eyes. You see, I have an asura that doesn’t have gigantic eyes, so in every cut-scene when he “squints”, it just looks like his eyes are closed (see img #2 below). I’m going to have to go through my entire story with my character’s eyes closed, and that being so, I just can’t do it. Is the scaling off or something with the eyes perhaps? Kudu and I share the same face, but his eyes remain open.

Does anyone else have this problem? In the attached screenshot, my eyes are actually open, it’s just they are so squinted, you can’t really tell. It drives me insane and makes cutscenes unbearable.

I noticed this as well on the Crystal Desert server. I rerolled a Charr Guardian and there was a toxic spore to harvest (I see it in your pic as well). I too was attacked by hallucinations.

Edit: I also noticed that a lot of the ghosts in this tutorial mission aren’t glowing like they should be. I know it’s not a huge bug, but it’s a bug all the same.

I’m fairly sure everyone has experienced lag at some point or another in WvW. Sometimes it gets so bad we have 6-10 second skill lag, and I’m from CD. The lag does seem much worse now than it was before, and I’ve noticed that a lot more people are crashing lately. It’s pretty crappy when you bust through the gate of your objective, only to have your commander crash out of the game.

While it is frustrating, I’m not sure what we (the players) can do about it.

When your sister decides to bring her 4 children to your house for a visit, and you have to tell your buddies on Teamspeak you have to go because the zerg has just arrived at your house.

I really wish I had a real life Line of Warding sometimes.

I’m pretty sure they are supposed to be on the same side, but on my level 3 story quest, I run upstairs to find “Twitchy Jake” killing Big Nose Ted. I hit Twitchy a couple of times, but he didn’t respond and just kept hitting Ted. Ted, on the other hand, doesn’t attack at all, he just stands there and points at me over and over again. After Jake killed Ted, he came after me.

No, they shouldn’t. I don’t know if you were around for the whole Kaineng thing, but free transfers to low pop servers is a very bad idea.

Another point since you piped in here Gismor, I know for a fact you want to make a difference on CD, it’s obvious and you’ve made it a goal. Know this though Gismor, we are not from where you came from, we’re not all like you and yours and what you’re trying to build. We don’t all want to be on TS3, some don’t want to hear a kitten thing beyond game sounds. Know this though, CD folks do watch keeps, do watch towers, do run dolyaks. CD folks may be “weak underdogs” because of our lower “tier”, but we do refresh siege and set it as we can, and people do sit like kittenes, or dedicated folks to a stupid game, at towers and keeps like any other server.

Yes, I have some animosity in a way and I should say it to you Gismor. You came from what? TC? You expected another group of players and another server to instantly accept you? To accept your style of play and dedication instantly because you came from a “higher” place? Nothing works that way unfortunatly, and I’m sure it’s been kitten you that folks haven’t bowed beneath your superior suggestions.

That all said Gismor, I think you’re getting it. You’re spending alot more time now “sleeping” in towers or spawns because you’re bored that folks aren’t getting “IT”. You chose to come to CD, and we’re not too kitten bad, but if you want to be number 1 then you’re quite a long ways from that and you need to move man. We have shown, vs at least 7 to 1 odds for many weeks now, we still do try. If ya wanna “win” go join the team that has the most numbers.

What the heck? Gismor is doing great, and EK have done nothing if not a wonderful job every single time they enter WvW. EK has really boosted morale on CD, and they are great allies to have in these recent matchups. I, for one, am always happy to see them on our borderlands. Gismor and EK have never talked down to anyone at any time I’ve ever been in WvW with them, so where you got that from, I’ll never know.

No one is forcing you to join teamspeak. Some guilds require it for recruitments and some guilds ask that you be there when in WvW. You don’t have to be in those guilds though. You always have a choice. It helps us coordinate our attacks better and work out better strategies. Besides, teamspeak is actually pretty fun if you give it a listen. Sometimes we have singing. Sometimes we have conversations about nothing relevent at all. This is a game. People are there to have fun. I suggest you lighten up and try to have fun too.

Gismor: Keep up the great work. MOST of us are thrilled to have you back on CD with us. You guys are awesome, and we appreciate everything you guys do.

That asura is flat out adorable. Ain’t gonna lie.

I know we’re losing. I don’t mind that at all. In fact, I have been enjoying this matchup quite a bit. I do not, however, enjoy having my body laughed over when I get mowed over by 30 people while I’m roaming. Can we please try to keep our pugs and fairweathers under control? It’s childish to do this.

I noticed an NPC on a story quest I was just on with this problem as well. He was an asura, like you, and was wearing medium priory armor. I think his name was Fero. Pretty sure his shoes aren’t supposed to be bright red either.

Maybe it’s only asura that have this problem.

Just wondering since it seemed to be an issue in the past, but do the ghastly weapons still glow if transmuted? I bought a shield with the wrong stats and I want to transmute it badly. I’m afraid that if I do, however, it won’t glow anymore.
