Since the start my gaming adventure, I have always been the person who went the extra mile to help out people. Even if I didn’t know them, I made sure they were helped to the best of my knowledge.

Celestial Guidance is just that. Newly created, The guild is going to focus on helping those who are new, returning from a long absence or being a bit rusty on a set point of the game.

Let me explain the basics. The Guild is split into FOUR training modes, that being
Turf – Pve
Fate – Roleplay
War – WvW
Duel – PvP.
Each one will have a leader of around 3-5 people who will teach people what they need to know. (Examples being: Roleplayer leader will take people to known spots and try to get them involved in the story that is currently going on).

Now after this, I will introduced my Sponsors. These are the Guilds who help us out with set bits in the game and in return, we train their people for them. The player can choose to either stay with us, go with our sponsor guild or find their own. Either option is fine and we are here just as the middle man.

At the moment I am looking for a Leader for Pve, WvW, RP and PvP. Those who are willing to take their time to train others and can be patient with them.

Master/Guardian. These two ranks are the highest obtained in the Guild.
Master will over see everything that happens (Leader)
Guardian is consist of three people. These people will run stuff like Guild Missions, Competitions and other stuff that isn’t covered by one of the Leaders.

We have a WvW Sponsor Guild from Piken but we are willing to take on more Guilds.
Plus the only positions open at the moment are the Leadership roles, Guardian role will only be chosen by me and the other Guardians.

If the Shatterer is getting a rework. Will he be stronger or will the event just change and how we fight him?

When Zhaitan died, Tequatl got a buff since the power when to him. So I wonder if the damage Destiny’s Edge done to Kralkatorrik was actually fatal or another Dragon saw him in his weakened state had killed him.

Thoughts?

If you have no characters then you can transfer for free every 7 days

Force him to farm you ToT bags till he reaches level 35 or tell him to send a ticket

Just going to assume that the World Boss spawns for Guilds are going to be the same

Got bored and decided I wanted to solo a Level 11 Fractal. Usually do it or a 21.
Done the first one, no problems.
Got the Molten Alliance for the second so I go on my way killing stuff. Got to the end boss and killed him.
Here is the double kick in the balls.
I got the chest and now I have no pop up to carry on to the third Fractal BUT I decided to send a bug report and now my screen is frozen by taking a screen shot.

So either way I am forced to restart my client so I can play again.

I don’t care about raids but please don’t bug my Fractals

Relogging actually helps on both. Solving Guild chat and the party bug

Same as before.
Go to Offline, Restart the client, Log back in and go back to online. Should work then

A word of advice for those who get disconnected.

Switch characters and re-enter the map. You will get the reward then.

I know this has been stated before and to be fair, I couldn’t care less.

I am just sick of having to farm Silverwastes for Spirit Shards. It’s the only map I have seen in the past week because I want to try and finish off my Legendary but oh wait..

I got 200 for my Scroll BUT I need Clovers.. Then again, I need to turn my Cores into Lodestones? Great so that’s more weeks added onto of the “No Grinding” System.

Stated a few times to Guildies that I would gladly buy a Dusk just so I can trade it for Spirit Shards. Can we just have another system so it gives us a little bit more of a chance of obtaining them?

Gold – Shards?
Exp – Shards?
Gems – Shards?

Happens to me as well.

Yeah we had the same problem. It happened when other people were on a different server to us or a different Lion’s Arch instance.
Best thing to do is get someone from the group to leave Fractals, Let you join first and then the other guy.

It’s from using your Icebow.

Get three people to Command the Guild but you keep the highest rank possible. Let those three run the Guild so you can do your own thing but you can stay in it

I am part of a organised Tequatl team. We aren’t one guild but around seven different guilds that meet up on TS and talk about tactics. We let others join our Team speak but find most people don’t bother but we spam map chat with what and how to do its.
I found our best tactic was making sure all the AoE wasn’t on our Melee zerg so we split into two groups (One Melee and one Ranged). The ranged spot would have around 10-15 people who could pierce or use explosions and at 1000-1200 range.
Plus we made sure some of us had reflects so the fingers by the turrets couldn’t hit any of the DPS groups. Then we have a group of 5 roaming around the outside taking out the fingers.
(Edit: Our Ranged group stood directly behind the DPS group and under Tequatls head)
Our best time we did it after the patch and after the Guard trait was above 6 mins remaining without a full map. It can be done but I find the lack of organisation and people saying “OMG GG NOOBS, WE FAILED” isn’t the best way to kill him.

My safety net is Toolkit Shield and Elixir S.
Block, Block, Block, Block, Shrink, Run around for a bit and then use my stealth to get away.

I done it for a year, Commanded it at every reset in the EU and got nothing. Then suddenly in the space of two months I have gotten two Hoards and two normal Ascended chests.
Needless to say I rubbed it in my Guildies faces when I got the second one since they done it to me when they got their first.

I have been on a few servers (Piken being my main one so far) and I was looking for a change.
Hopefully to a lower tier one so I can roam without the perks of getting zerg-gang-banged.
I have been on a few servers before but none really that I can call home. I do a lot of everything from PvE to PvP but my main purpose is WvW. My main names that I play by are Ju Níor or Mazai (If anyone remembers the name).
Also, my friend might be joining me.. He is from NA while I am in EU, Both Commanders and we managed to organize the Tequatl run when it was at 3am EU (Along with Uticha and a few others).
Not a massive fan of EoTM. I only see it as a quick way to level up to 80.
Not looking to join a Guild but more of a server/home.

I am seeing my party members on the map as Blue dots but they are not on the map. Is this part of the map shifting if it gets to low?

Since the member cap is almost full and we are still waiting for the update for 1,000 members. My guild leader has tasked me to make a second guild for Cube.

Only a couple days old, We have started upgrades already to get Guild Missions on the way. Then we can join our sister guild.

What does Cube have to offer?
Well, A lot. We do weekly Tequatl killing as a Guild. With the help of another to man the turrets. We do this every Sunday just before our Guild Missions at 18:00GMT.
We do daily dungeon runes, 24/7. Plus, we do Fractals from level 1 to 49.
We have a Website with competitions where you could win 20g+ and where you can post your funny pictures from the game.

Yeah, Seems fun but what about WvW/PvP?
Again, We do this daily. We have Guild raids on Friday at around 19:00GMT. With more people joining, We will make this a daily thing. We have our special raid Leader who will keep us posted and to lead the Guild.
PvP is done everyday. We always have groups going in and out of PvP, so you are never short of people PLUS We hold a PvP tournament every two weeks. Where teams of 3 will battle it out against each other to win a prize! (Prize goes to 1st place and best team name). Teams are random, so you will never have the best against the inexperienced.

But are the people helpful?
We have dedicated people who are willing to answer every question. Not just from the leaders though, members will gladly help out others if you are new to the game or came back from a long break.

We have people who are there to help others. If you have never done Fractals, we will help you through it. Explain everything in detail and that goes for all Dungeons (Explore/Story). Even if someone has done Arah story, they will still join to help you out.

Well, What do you want from us?
Simple. To be loyal and represent 100%. We have a special rank for those who wish to roleplay and can’t represent 100%. At the moment, we need people to get influence, so we can get our Guild Missions done quickly for Sundays.

Also to top it off. Rytlock has gone looking for his Sword (I am hoping the Mists). What is the chances of him seeing Belinda there and trying to return her? As you can see her stood on top of the wall at Fort Salma, looking over at the Player.

It will probably end as the Pale Tree getting killed/Dies. The hero will find a new tree without the dream or a different type of Pale Tree. Trahearne, Caithe and the hero will lead them there, through Maguuma. So like a Refugee type thing, minus Scarlet and the destruction of LA.

I was thinking, since the conversation she was having at the Pale Tree and how she seems to have so much influence in the Shining Blade, The fact that Anise is actually Livia?

The whole conversation was a bit strange:
Canach: Do you treat everyone you encounter like children?
Countess Anise: (laugh) You are a delicate flower, aren’t you? So easily bruised…
Canach: I have a thick skin. I also learn from my missteps. For example, you fooled me once with your illusions, so now I wonder if you’re truly as young as–
Countess Anise: Do not finish that sentence. Not here, not ever.
Canach: At least, a substantial response.

The whole “Youth” question. I never thought much about it at first but when you read Wiki about Livia, it states

“Livia claimed to have studied much of Orrian magic after acquiring the Scepter of Orr, and had retained her youthful appearance. How she had managed such a feat is not known—some tales said she’d sold her soul to become an immortal lich, and others claimed that Livia sacrificed prisoners in the dungeons of Divinity’s Reach and used their blood to give herself eternal youth and beauty.”

I know Livia is a Necromancer and Anise is a Mesmer but we had the ability to be two professions in the first game or maybe she just trained as a Mesmer to fool those people around her. 250 Years is a long time and she has only come to light since the Maguuma update, where Livia spent the majority of her time.

So I will stick to my conclusion that Livia is Anise

She has the power of Orr. She could pretty much do anything. Maybe she was stuck when Zhaitan was alive but again, she could of had the power to stop him.

You never know Ansie could be Livia?
She has been missing since she claimed the Scepter of Orr and when asked how old she really is..
She spent most of her time in Maguuma and she probably knows about the Dragon and his where abouts.
Would make for a good plot twist..

Also being a massive part in the Shining Blade and being by the Queens side for many years, I reckon Ansie could very well be Livia in another form.

Never know. It could be the Humans, Charr, Norn and Asura attacking the Pale Tree. Blaming her for the attack on Lion’s Arch. Everyone seems to be Anit-Sylvari at the moment.

We do the World Boss reset run from 1am, starting at Shatterer going through to Maw, Ulgoth, Fire Ele, Karka, Jungle Wurm, Golem Mark II, Behemoth, Tequatl, Fire Shaman, Jormag, Temples in Orr and finally Hydra queen.

Every Tequatl spawn usually 10 minutes before spawn, we do tactics over map chat for those who have never killed him since his update. (People say he is hard, We made it possible on 3-4 overflow maps every night at 3am).

Also people from outside of the Guild join Cube in our antics to fight Tequatl so don’t be an outsider.
Within Cube we have Uticha, Mazai, Hoeli, Susan, Pretty Princess Roy, Keelie
Outside of Cube we have Jessica, Celeste and Stradetch.

I was lucky to get a Celestial weapon chest from Tequatl but that was after 200 kills

I think Anet will do a Re-cap of the last living story for those who missed it.
To be fair, there is a lot of stuff that has been going on. I left at the same time but managed to get back into the game like I didn’t miss anything but I done that by purging my whole account so it felt like I was a newbie starting up again :/

Elementalist requires a skilled person controlling them in PvP or Roaming WvW. If you want to do basic PvE then go for Ele since they can do amazing DPS. Staff Ele’s are always needed in WvW for Might stacking, Healing and Stun.

Mesmer/Ele for the first 30-60 levels can be annoying. You will die a lot but when you hit 80 you will see a big difference, which is the same as any character.

Rangers/Necro are good starting builds with Traps + Pet(Ranger), Wells + Minions (Necro) to help you along the way.

I think they are both equal in a roaming status. I would go for Mesmer and just phantom bomb the enemy ;p

People put down Rangers and Necros but I find them very balanced. I know the Necro has slow DPS but in PvP they are amazing plus with over 30kHp, you can’t really complain. Rangers with full Zerk can do a lot of DPS on single targets (Sword/Warhorn) or Multiple (Greatsword). Also as stated above, good in PvP with the added pet at your side.
Guardians are always sort after. Good for PvE, Tagging and WvW. Can’t say I have tried one in PvP but always worth a shot :p

Even if you want to join us with our runs, You can. We have a few people who like to tag along in our Triple Trouble/Tequatl runs. Also all our spots are filling up so make sure you don’t miss out.

This is the basic of what we have to say but we have more.

We do daily Fractals runs 1-49 for those who are new to it and those who can do it while AFK. The leader and Officers will help those who need it, even if it takes hours to do. We believe people should be treated as equals regardless of AP.

Dungeon Runs are done daily. All from AC to Arah with dedicated people who are willing to teach those who need teaching.

Tequatl! Killed three times a day within the guild. We have highly trained Commanders that will teach people who to Command and use Turrets. We also do the Tactics run on the 03:00am Run.

Triple Trouple is part of our new Friday routine. Come join us to help us slay them!

Saturday is our WP Run for guild missions. Our Commanders will gladly run you through the maps to get those designated WP’s.

1am Daily Run! We run through all the Bosses, Starting at Shatterer. We have people who will lead you all the way through to Tequatl, Temples and even! Fire Ele..

The only “Oh S**T” moment I could think of is having a skill that stealths the player for like 20 seconds so you can take control of your pet with certain skills or changing the “F” key functions so they can have more special attacks (I.E. Running at a target to KD them, then while they are down you can do Cripple/Bleed) Or.. Add Deep wound back into the game and have the pets use it ;p

I would be happy with more pet skills like Knockdown or Steal. So you can have the full DPS while controlling two characters

The fact that annoys me and probably a lot of people is the fact a Mod/Admin was the one who made this thread but now they seem to ignore us. I suggest you lot pay more attention to the people who WvW, Take time to play your game and enjoy it or you will have a game with no one on and it will die before you show any new expansion.

Not just me then. Trying to buy Karma ingredients but I can’t see the NPC

Well how about ratings. Like rating if a Commander is Good or Bad. If they are good then the tag will slowly start to change to a dark colour with the more rankings they get. Basic Commanders or rubbish ones just stay at blue
Or even do it with time based in WvW/EoTM and the amount of towers captured

They should just do a PvE/WvW Commander rank system like in WvW.
New skills for the Commanders like increase Exp for PvE or 5% damage for people in the Commanders squad

Season 2 Tournament is based on the server you spent the majority of your time on. You can’t go from a server that is losing to one that has won every single match up now, could you?

It is because people have made new characters and it adds the rank onto them thus giving them the other bonus chests
