Guild wars 2 game design failed in the end.
Everyone has full berserker gear, they don’t accept guardians with shield and mace, warriors with shield and sword, they don’t even accept thief with dual pistol in dungeons, because everyone wants melee full zerk so they can stack on a corner and kill everything.
That concludes that Guild wars 2 combat mechanic and roles failed, hard. Every game that doesn’t have the “holy trinity” will fail, Guild wars 2 is the experiment, unfortunately!
I have to conclude that the Dungeons were made just to get some players to buy the game, because in the end the game failed and people changed game, but that doesn’t matter, because arenanet already has their money.
After 2 years of game, the dungeons continue to have brutal exploits, no tactics and the roles don’t exist. The abilities most of the classes have are mostly for PvP, which concludes that Guild wars 2 is a PvP game with a small and unfinished PvE content.
Fotm is dying and i’m leaving this game soon if nothing happens to the only challenging dungeon in the game!
I’m saying that story modes/ explorable should have bosses with tactic i find the “tank and spank” tactic more challenging then the “hit and spank”.
Give me some tactics, I prefer to move around and dodge the boss abilities then to stay still and press 12345 and see the vanishing in my eyes leaving 2 blues -_-

this is the simplest boss in WoW, this boss has a very simple tactic, BUT HAS A TACTIC!!!
The circles in MF do no damage, you can stand on them! They damage you for 240 damage… joke, how hard is this?
No challenge, no loot, no rewards and no tactics = no fun

All my gear is from CM, I farmed CM just for the armor style, nothing else! The dungeon is super easy man! The only dungeon that is hard in the game is FOTM 50+
Where is the fractal of the mists 50+ ?

I agree. They said they would come out with new fractals soon, but that was months ago. Honestly I don’t really like this Flame & Frost content (as I have no idea what is going on).
Gonna say this again for the 100th time, make Fractal Weapons available with Pristine Relics…PLEASE! I don’t care the amount so 30 Pristine Relics for one skin would be fine if you want them so difficult to obtain.
The new dungeon is so easy, you don’t even need to move at bosses/events.. no rewards, no tactics! Do it once and never do it again!

The point of this thread if for ArenaNet to recreate the whole game ^^, and that’s good =p cause at the moment isn’t a good game at all

Yep… the loot is terrible, i was thinking about going until fotm 80 (i know lvl 50+ its impossible), but i was thinking about doing it when they nerf the agony at 50+, but… the loot is so terrible that, i ask myself, why am I doing this for? I don’t want the fractal weapons, i already have the rings infused, so the pristine fractal relics are useless… i don’t know.. but fotm isn’t that epic and challenging ..
Yes, you read it! Inferno mode.
There is story mode, explorable mode, and my suggestion is “Inferno mode”.
Inferno mode is one path dungeon for all dungeons in game.
5 man dungeon with hard bosses
Each boss has its own unique epic fight!
Inferno dungeon should be considered progress dungeons where
Dedicated for end content players
All inferno dungeons are level 80 (example: AC inferno mode is level 80)
Few trash mobs and 4/5 bosses maximum per dungeon
Not going to suggest loot options though i may suggest the use of agony in certain bosses, but this is something that isn’t the main idea of the inferno dungeons.
Conclusion:
Inferno dungeons are hardcore dungeons with epic hard fights that can take your team some hours just to fight a single boss. The bosses have intense tactics and if your team fails the tactic on certain bosses, can lead them to a wipe.
Suggestion:
The bosses + dungeon can be reused, which means, the bosses and the dungeon don’t have to be modeled/textured/animated again… which means, ArenaNet can create this dungeons reusing everything they have made until now.

Tried fotm 50 yesterday and didn’t kill Jade Maw… it was impossible..

You are right, lodestones should be hard to get, not as easy as it is described in here.
The cores should drop always, as for the lodestones, should drop less.

Elementals Grove is a 80 dungeon where player face every kind of elementals.
The dungeons main drops are:
Cores
Lodestones
Exotics
Elemental Mark – Gear + weapons related to elementals
This dungeon has 4 bosses and they are based on the Cores ( item ):
An Crystal+Corrupted boss
An Glacial+Molten boss
An Onyx+Destroyer boss
And the final boss “Charged” boss
Boss abilities:
Crystal+Corrupted
- The Crystal+Corrupted creates areas of poison
- Attacks melee and ranged giving stacks of poison and confusion
- Mind controls a random player, which has to be “killed” in order to return to his normal state, returning with 50%.
- The boss attacks the nearest player in melee and random target in ranged, that gives confusion and poison. (the ranged target can affect melees too).
Glacial+Molten
- The Glacial+Molten creates areas of frost instantly that gives 5 stacks of “frozen debuff”, deals low damage and chills
- If player reaches an amount of 30 stacks of “frozen debuff” turns into a block of ice. This block of ice can be destroyed with damage by other players.
- To remove “frozen debuff” you have to stand in the molten areas created by the boss. They damage, gives burning and vulnerability and removes the debuff. This should be done when players have their healing available because it damages a lot.
- The boss attacks the nearest player in melee and gives aoe burning to the whole room.
Onyx+Destroyer
- This boss summons stone+fire elementals that attack players around the room. When an elemental dies, they explode giving a lot of damage in the area and burning and bleeds
- Creates circles that after 1 second a meteor shatters giving a lot of damage and stuns.
- Stomps the ground, knock backing players and stun them.
- The boss attacks the nearest player in melee and throws rocks to players that stun them and cripple
Charged
- Charged boss teleports in lightning form to players giving them a high amount of damage.
- Each time the boss reaches 75% 50% and 25% he spawns a lot of sparks that start moving to the boss slowly. If they reach the boss, he heals 2% and gets stacks of “Enraged” (+10% damage)
- Aoe circles on the ground that damage the player and give them weakness
- The boss attacks the nearest player in melee and shocks random players stunning them and giving weakness + vulnerability.
Each boss gives 1 Elemental Mark + 1 lodestone of their kind and common/uncommon/rare/exotic.
At the end of the dungeon you receive 6 Elemental Marks + 5 lodestones (random)
The marks can be traded for lodestones or exotics(that can be turned into ascended)

The Book, and offhand weapon for the following classes:
Guardian
Necromancer
Mesmer
Elementalist
The book is healing/boon/condition remover weapon.
Fills the 4th and 5th spells on your weapon skills.
Suggestion for Guardian:
(example)
4th – Creates a burning area (circle) that burns enemies and gives swiftness to allies.
5th – An small aoe cone of healing, that heals and removes 1 condition to all players – 2 seconds cast
Hope this idea creates an interesting topic of discussion even if this is idea was given before by another person and denied.

I think Smite should be a Symbol too! It would make the scepter way better!
The lack of ranged abilities makes the guardian terrible as a ranged profession.
The abilities need some changes in order to be useful and enjoyable!

1 – Attack – Attack (more damage) – Attack stacks vulnerability
2 – Ground symbol that burns (larger area) and considered a symbol, so it can get the trait benefits, such as “Symbols are larger” and "Symbols last longer
3 – Same
Every who uses scepter will use most of the time a torch as a offhand.
4 – Same
5 – A consecration that burns foes around and removes condition, stays on the ground for 3 seconds

Then the game isn’t challenging at all! Did arah explorable yesterday with a pub and we completed it! The end game instances are easy beacause of that… you die and you have unlimited lifes…
Remove Waypoint teleport while fighting a boss!
In dungeon events you can teleport, but in bosses, i think the room should be closed and no one can enter or leave until the boss is dead or you wipe!
Yesterday, i tried for the first time Arah story mode! Easypiezijapanezi! Super Easy dungeon.
But when it comes to Zhaitan battle. I was expecting something more epic! Fight him face to face, then air battle, then the tower part.
Talking about Zhaitan since level 1 and when he comes, he doesn’t attack us a single time, and only spawns Risen…

Hello everyone!
I think Aegis should get stacks, like might and other buffs.
Why? Because in the middle of dynamic fights + loads of buffs, timing aegis isn’t fun
Guardian tanking issues inside dungeons
When using maces, the symbols aren’t that good, because they always tend to leave the symbol area, so, that should be something to work out. Probably increasing the area should fix the problem, and when using the trait to increase symbol size, the symbol should be huge.
When using shield, the 5th ability is only used for the healing and remove defiance. To be honest, should be more powerful.
When using sword, the 3rd ability, isn’t an AOE ability.
What do you guys use in dungeons when you want to tank more then the usual?

The only thing i don’t like in dungeons is the fact that you can teleport to the waypoint while fighting a boss. That makes the game easy!
Remove teleport to the waypoint and stop giving infinite lifes to players. Make it more challenging
Explorable mode dungeons can be described in a few sentences:
Start the fight with the boss,
Dps + kite until you get on the floor or die,
Teleport to the waypoint and let your teammates continue dps + kite until they die,
Run to the room and do the same thing over and over again until the boss is dead.
Loot
Repair
Done.
I think the boss fights should be reworked…
In order to make a clean challenge, the room should be closed and no one can enter the room until the boss is dead. If you want to resurrect, someone has to do that.
I’m playing a guardian with traits in thoughness + healing + hp, but to be honest, i might go to dps talents and use some cooldowns to hold the boss for a few seconds and thats it…
Some of the events in explorable are dps races…

I think explorable mode should be harder! The waypoint teleportation when dead, while fighting a boss, makes the game super easy… =/
