I hadn’t bought gems in ages and was surprised about the 72-hour condition, yet I understand it and agreed to it. If I miss a sale then it’s a cautionary tale that I might want to keep some gems on hand for future sales.

The 72 hours limit is only when they offer it in bundles with the game.. If you buy them direct from the gem store you get them within 1 minute. Same as if you buy a card from a store and use the code.

From when I was able to get on… it was a fail..
I admit that I only dabble in both PvP and Wvw but any of the builds I tested just didn’t feel right with target practice dummies in PvP.
Tried WvW and also could never get a feel for anything cause of massive groups camping outside the starting point and killing anything that came through. Bad draw on my end maybe but after 4 tries over the weekend I gave it up cause it seemed to be same result.

It won’t be the same without something from Santa Charr. Might be about time to get some skritt to help. Get with me later when you figure things out. I’ll either help with the giveaway or help you get goodies to people while you are at work

I’m still waiting for them to add chef 500 to the game and the dead birds become a crafting mat

*Mounts were nice but I felt better control would be needed… ie being able to side step aka strafe. They also seems sluggish in turning at times.
*Doing something other then communing for masteries was different but fun and challenging (my GF wants to cut the chef up and put him in the pot BTW)
*Overall ambience was awesome. Much better then HoT.
*Some of the mobs seemed to be off balance when it comes to fights. Was in a couple areas where a mob of 4 killed me where as a mob of the same things with 6 I survived.

Now waiting on next weekend to preview the elites!

I’m sure this might have been reported as a bug report, but there seems to be a bug at this mastery point. It says I already have it when I got there the first time. Completely restarted the client and same thing happens. There were also about 8 others around trying to get it and was saying the same thing. We did see 2 come up and do the motion of leaning into it and get it, but we couldn’t get it afterwards either.

There is an option in the ranks to restrict use of placeables in crafting. Just uncheck that box for lower rank members that might be leveling scribe up.

OK love the new grapple option we can buy for guild halls. Being in both they can come in pretty handy when being used for puzzles and other stuff.

But can we please get an option for either scribes to craft or even buy Updrafts and Bouncing mushrooms? Since you opened one mastery option up for purchase as decor, you should allow other those two masteries as well.

Anybody else think that the devs should look into adding these?

My main guild it looking at trying to redo our event schedule and times that we have for the week. The officers do ask in both game chat and discord when other people are on and such, as well as having a poll about what days and times work best.

I was wondering if it is possible to pull the count of current members are on certain times? Don’t need a full list of everyone on but just a generalization of how many is on.

Example:

1pm—-19 members online
2pm—-23 members online
3pm—-10 members online
4pm—-16 members online
etc….

And on side note.. A big thank you for the few players that have helped me figure out API and coding as well as providing links and access to sites.

You don’t have to open the traits window to swap out skills. If you look at the skillbar you’ll see an up arrow above each skill. you can click on that and show skill you can use in that slot. So if you remember what skill you want looks like and where it is on the graphical menu. its just 2 fast clicks away from swapping.

Would be an awesome skin for my engie.. to bad rifle skills suck on it

Not sure he’ll let me send his API out just yet. How exactly does your table work? Does it give you a list that you have to upgrade or is the item entered manually and then it pulls the info? Can you only have it show what upgrade you are working on and the mats, cause the pic you posted shows other mats as well. Do you have a link to it so i can actually see what it looks like overall?

The guild I’m in has a decent website we use to keep everybody up to date on what is happening in the guild. We even have a little window off to the side that shows what current upgrade we are trying to finish for the week. As the main scribe in the guild and having the upgrades and material handling fall on me, I always did the whole c/p from the wiki with the mats we need and subtract what ever we had in the treasury for it.

I might have missed this in searching but is there a way to pull the API and show the upgrade we are working on as well as displaying a live accounting of the materials for it?

From what I was pointed to at first and am starting to read on was this, https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/API:2/guild/upgrades. Now is there a list of what the ids for the upgrades are?

And not having worked with API’s before but I am researching on how to use them as well, can anyone guide me on how to use them to display the correct info that I want?

I’m sure most of us are not to concern about the ones we deleted in the past, but the future birthdays on anybodys account might be a nice thing to consider. It’s not like they don’t have the code to use as a repalcement. If they can have the random wardrobe unlock drop , that includes minis; how hard is it to recode it to only giving a random mini that is locked?

We get her mini with every first birthday for a toon. I’m on my 4th one now that I have deleted, and still have 3 more left to hit 1 year. Can you instead change it to a random mini from a set that we don’t already have please?

yeah with 300g you can max out all crafting and start with ascended. Or if you are in a guild 300g will get you about half way through scribe

But maybe we are looking at this all wrong. 2 pics on the wiki page for this story arc. 2 sides it seems. no they happen sooner. I’m normally patching around 1 pm EST which is about 10am PST or 9 PST depending on time change crap. It jsut that they are always patch more during the day so it seems to go on for like 5 hours.

Give them time. They are redoing the patch at the last minute to have DR wiped out by a massive blizzard cause by Jormag instead of the white mantle. They just need to apply the snow covered offices to map.

Just wanted to remind you that when placing a decoration, if you click and hold the mouse button, then move your mouse around, it will allow you to rotate the decoration before placing it. When you let go of the LMB, the decoration won’t automatically be placed, it will instead stop rotation and once again allow you to move the decoration around and place it where you want, only this time it will be facing the direction you rotated it in.

Yeah I know that part. I’m talking more of after you place it and it doesn’t look right or needs to be moved/rotated some more once you look at it from a different angle or distance. Guild leader has massive OCD issue in that regards

As being the main scribe for a small very active guild as well as the scribe for a large not so active guild, I love being able to craft things for both guild halls ( LP and GH).

But I feel that some of the stuff a scribe does is lacking. With the other 8 crafting professions, we have the option to sale about 80%?? of our crafted items. Now I know that the scribe was intended just for guild use and we can only make a very limited amount of items to sale.

That being said is there a way to either have a special scribe/guild hall part of the trading post where we can sale/buy guild related decorations? Be it limited to either Leader rank only being able to make the purchases or a clickable option that can be added to the rank menu? And/or have option to pay for it directly from a guild bank?

I think this will give a guild a chance to get rid of stuff that they are not using, while at the same time allow smaller guilds get decorations that might be out of there range material wise or might have missed out on from certain events, ie maybe they want a snow maker but missed the chance during wintersday 2016.

Been playing over a year. Never noticed til today when a guildie asked about it, and he never noticed it before either. Nor any other guild mates.

Has anyone else notice this guy before? Did a dev “paint” their self into LA?

Simple bonus gems when using a code or buying them. so instead of 400Gems per $5(USD) how about 500 or 550 per $5

More control in placing decorations. being able to move a piece and rotate on 3 axis instead of deleting it and replacing it cause it was slightly off center. I mean come on, 1 key to place an item but 4 keys change the size of the area when removing them?

Clearly opinions vary! In the game, I got resounding approval for Cecil, particularly since it eliminated the confusion with another beastie. I’m personally not a fan of using the name of someone I know, like Colin, or Steve. However your mileage may vary, and that’s ok.

Yeah F2P sucks but you don’t have to buy HoT to get to LA.. You can still buy the core game for cheap and that will unlock all content, except HoT areas.

That would also go along with unlocking the airship in the lost precipice guild hall but not being able to use it. Would be nice if when you do guild missions we have the option to load up on it and fly to the spot and get dropped off.

As the main scribe for 2 guilds.. It would be nice for higher drop rate for the mats needed to craft Halloween decor like tattered batwings and the pumpkin smasher.. Would also be nice to have more stuff added for next year maybe like webs, ghosts, mummys…etc
