Finally…I’m not the only one that think this! Glicko is good for 1v1 evalutation or team vsteam evalutation (with MMR based on the entire team composition)

Actualy is only luck indicator.

Can you use this system to create a ladder of best players of the NBA based on the win with their team? You can’t.

Iverson was one of the gratest players of all time, but 76ers Philadelphia never won title with him.

Aaaand…what about the Ranger Respawn Bug? The mascotte will appear near the ranger died and than disappear instantly.

If you are a necro for example, and you are put marks on the zone where the ranger died, when he will respawn at him base, the mascotte will appear for 1 sec, trigger all yourk marks and then disappear (he come back from their owner lol).

Hello everyone,

So sad about what happening today on Ranked Arena.

First of all, I don’t know why Anet do nothing again afkers…yeah, of course I can report it, but also when I do, the next matches I see that the afkers is still here, playing without dishonored applied to him. My team report afkers everytime, but they still continue to playing. Not the best system yet.

Anyway, afkers is a common topics here, so I don’t want to talk about this for 23984290847 line of post…I just want to explain the big problem about the losing streak bonus win.

Just read the chat attached. That player go afk the match before, and go again afk in this match because he prefer the losing streak win bonus instead try to win.

Can we stop this?

I miss Cantha too much...

Hello everyone,

I here today to ask to our community one simple question:
Am I the only one who miss the beautiful Cantha region seen in GW1?

When I bought GW: Factions I fell in love in 30 second, starting from Shing Jea Island with its amazing “peace and spirit” asian look, to Kaineng City the big metropolis, the beautiful Jade Sea and the mysterious Echoval Forest.
The architecture and the design of the Factions was great, and imho that was the best GW game release.

Today, playing GW2 i miss that asian feeling: yeah, we have the Lunar New Year event, and we had the Festival of The Four Winds (please, bring it back every year!), but nothing to compare with the full Cantha region.

Now a question for developers:
why don’t you take back Cantha in the next GW2 expansion? Honestly HoT don’t give me a really WOOOW effect (mastery system is good, elite spec too…but that maps are really bad, the enemies are ugly and the overall result is a simple big forest with jump and gliding actions).

I don’t think that I’m the only one who miss Cantha.
Come on, let’s get it back!

Why the system can't work right...

Simply, because in a team based game, you simply can’t care about Solo players.
It’s not fine to say this but this is the true.

This is not a post about QQ or other things, I have fun play this game as Solo Player but also Team Player. I just want to explain IMHO why the system fail.

Let’s start talking about some points that affects solo players:

1) Why a good player have to pay for the mistakes of him team member?
As soloQ player, sometimes I see extremly bad playing by other team members, actions that only a PvE with no PvP skill can do. Other time people go AFK after first lose battle, other times it was a 4v5 from start…and I lost pips.
WHY I HAVE TO LOSE PIPS IF I TRY TO DO EVERY THING TO WIN THIS MATCH?

2) Divisions League is not good for Solo
A team with mumble or TS, that use their class in the right way, that speak each other on a voice channel to choose the right tattics will always win against 3+2 team, 4+1 team, etc etc, because this game is TEAM BASED. A solo Q player have to be lucky (and of course a lot skilled) to be in team with good players to try to get high in division…

3) Why the system wasn’t similar to GW1? You want to do high level PvP? So, find a PvP guild, create your team and climb the ladder. You want to play alone? Go in Random Arena o Hero Battle and have fun…sorry for no ladder (Hero battle have ladder ofc but was different) but this is a team based game, so we have to think before teams not the single members.

What I try to say it’s simple: PvP in GW2 in 5v5 and every tattics is extremply important to win or lose the match. At the end of a game, if a team win is because the play well each other like a solid group, no because they have 1 or 2 hero players.

GW2 PvP is about team. If in a team/guild a player suck you can ban it and find some one better.

IMHO the PvP league and ladder division have to only TEAM BASED.
SoloQ players? Have fun in unranked match or random arena with no progression.
Sorry, but if you want to play with no QQ and try to be good in a team you have to find a guild and climb the ladder as a Team member.

Since the release of GW2, people think that the thief is a class similar to the Assassin in GW1, a real ninja that instakill and become a super hero.

Assassin in gw1 was one of the most powerful 1v1 class in the game, for the more nostalgic, do you rememebr the BoA (Shadow Prison) assassin? It was incredible…insta kill in 3 seconds.

In GW2 the thief is just a bit similar to the assassin (because it is always a pure roamer), but the role of the class is dramaticaly different: a good thief, especialy nowadays, just have to +1 fight, give to the enemy the last hit to make him death, fast and just decap (no wait to recap) and maybe steal some beast, take buffs and prepare the lord assault.
If a thief do this job in the right way, this is a very usefull thief.

People that think a thief that go away against a DH is noob….mmmm…just ignore him, he don’t have idea what PvP really is.

No more bug Mac beta client for me. GW2 much better in bootcamp. I just did SB zerg on medium setting and had 30 FPS in zerg. Looks so much better too.

Welcome to the dark side.

Yes it is like I have a new GW2 game. Everything look so much better plus FPS that works. I suggest anyone with windows use boot camp. I only use it to play GW2 game so I am not worried about virus and stuff. I installed Avast anyway just to be safe.

How much Storage quota you assign for WIN + GW2? Is 50/60GB enough for only OS and GW2?
What version of Windows have you installed?

2) in hotjoin would be a pain in the kitten + trolling might occur as in repetitive join and leave the game just to troll OR rage quitters leaving every 5seconds so the other team will not enjoy this due the other team’s quitting..

What do you think about downed skill of necromancer? IMHO, we are really bad(talking about the most important skills…2 and 3). Think about this:

- Warrior: 1 area interrupt, vengeance
- Guardian: 1 area interrupt, 1 healing area
- Thief: 1 teleport (impossibile to secure stomp), 1 stealth (impossibile to secure stomp)
- Elementalist: vapor form (impossibile to secure stomp), 1 immobilized area
- Ranger: 1 interrupt, 1 resurrection from pet
- Engi: 1 single interrupt, 1 area interrupt
- Mesmer: 1 teleport (impossibile to secure stomp), 1 source of damage

- Necromancer: 1 fear, poison ( -_-)

What do you think about it?

Hello everyone,

First of all…sorry for my bad english!
I want to share with you some ideas that I have think in those days, based on the PvP system of the game. In my opinion, we need a big change and create s system that incentive the GUILD/TEAMS. This is Guild Wars, a team based videogame(in PvP)…at the moment I feel like this game incentive to play alone. (SoloQ, TeamQ joinable also in solo, single player Leaderboard, etc, etc…)

So…let’s start:


1) Rescructure TeamQ
First of all…the name is TEAM QUEUE, so why solo players can join this? In my opinion, like Hero’s Ascent or GvG, you can start this queue only if you are a composed full team…in this case 5 players. No solo players allowed (for that one there is SoloQ), no little group allowed(finally will we start to use LFG system to find player and start to create a solid team?).

Starting from this point, TeamQ will have a system that allowed players to sign up a roster of 10 player max. If you want to start to play in teamQ, you will have to group with 5 players of this roster and start to play…of course…only a group of a single roster can start and go in the queue(if a roster have 10 players, it’s impossibile to start in the same times 2 teams of 5 players). This system is like GvG…a guild with 100 people, but only 8 people each time can do a single GvG per time.

This system will have a structure like this:
- TEAM X: [Player 1, Player 2, Player 3, Player 4, Player 5, Player 6]
- TEAM Y: [Player 1, Player 2, Player 3, Player 4, Player 5, Player 6, Player 7]
- Team Z: [Player 1, Player 2, Player 3, Player 4, Player 5]
…..
…..
To start a rated match in TeamQ each team have to pick 5 player of their roster and start! EASY!

Talking about ladder…again similar to GvG in gw1: we have a ladder based on team, and no based on single player like now(very useless…this is a TEAM GAME…I repeat)


2) Hotjoin
Let player go inside the match always with random color and when there is another 1 player waiting. I explain better:
- The match start 1vs1
- Another player join the match…he can’t go in the game until another player go in the waiting lobby.
- When we have 2 players waiting, put them inside the game, in random color each
- We will have a 2vs2 situation.
- Repeat.
- If a player leave the game, remove from the game the player in couple with him in the opposite team (but give him reward at the end of the match).
No unbalanced match, no stupid force autobalanced system and less QQ.


3) Observe Mode for High ranked match
Create a system that record the high ranked match for TeamQ and allow player to see it later…at the end of the match. Another time…system similar to GW1 for GvG top 100 or Hero’s Ascent HoH or top guild.


For now…that’s all. What do you think about it?

Are thieves actually that unstoppable? (sPVP)

Thanks for all the responses yet. I guess – Has condimancer fallen outta tPVP meta? Or are they still high up there with war?

1) I play necro condi in teamQ everyday. It’s not out from meta…if played good can be really annoying for other team. Your role is play with team, strip boon, spam condition and give some support (sometimes you need to play defensive). Remember…GOOD POSITIONING IS REALLY IMPORTANT!
In some case you need to fight 1vs1 but remember…condi necro is not the strongest 1vs1 build, but with train is very good vs everyone.

2) In 1vs1 situation generally I haven’t really big problem…my most hated class are mesmer and d/d elem.

3) Talking about 1vs1, don’t get sad if you lose vs a thief or a mesmer. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose…it’s the game. Also high skilled players can lose in 1vs1 situation versus a class that they have advantage.

Can you give me some advice as Condi necro?

Thx for your advice…other question about 1vs1.

In those days I have do a lot of progression with this build in 1vs1 and generally I’ve not big problem against every class except some cases:

- PU Mesmer
- Turrent Engi
- D/D ele

Sometimes againts players with this builds and my skill level, I lose.

Can you give me some advice on duels?
I know that condi is not the strongest 1vs1 build and do its best job with good positioning in team fight, but I want to be better in 1vs1 with my necro.

Hello everyone,

I’ve some question about the Necro Condition. I have play this build for a lot of time but I’ve some points that make me undecided.

As a condi necromancer I generally play in mid fight with team and sometimes I try to decap far. I play 4/6/0/0/4 and those are my questions:
1) What traits do you preffer in “Spite”? Or do you preffer 0/6/4/0/4?
2) Do you preffer using Nightmare Runes, Balthy Runes, Undead Runes or what?
3) Carrion or Rabid amulets?
4) What combination Runes+Amulets is better for team fight? What for 1v1?

I’ve do a lot of test with Undead+Rabid and this couple give me a very high condition damage a some niche thoungeness, but also Nightmare+Carrion is a good combination. Really undecided.

I play standard condi necro with flesh golem as elite.

In team fight (my prefer situation as condi) I do very well effort in the fight, in 1vs1 I think I good but not too much because I have some problem in 1vs1 against thief, Mesmer and sometimes Wars.
What is your general skill rotation in general 1vs1 situation?
How is your playstyle against this 3 classe and the others?

In my honest opinion, the BUILD TEMPLATEis just a PvP problem, because sometimes you need to switch build in 1 minute or less.

Talking as developer who I am, develop a solution is really simple: we already have a PvP build pannel with 2 subpanel(traits and equip). We just need to add another one subpanel called “HEALING AND UTILITY SKILLS” where a player can choose their healing, utility and elite skills.
At this situation we have an object well defined that explain the 90% of player’s build: traits, runes, amulet and utility skills.

To finish the work we just need to create a system that can save all this objects: maybe and array of array could work great.

PvP Builds List
[[Build 1], [Build 2], [Build 3]…]

Every build have a structure like this:
[[Traits], [Runes & Amulets], [healing, utility and elite skills]]

The finale result is:
- A player have a set of builds: each of these have saved traits, runes and utility skills;
- The only manual thing required is to equip the weapons you want to use with that build (so the build template don’t depende on personal inventory).

This system don’t have dependencies with the invetory of a player and could work easily for the PvP aspect of the game, the real part that need BUILDS TEMPLATE.

Why 0 reward for full 500-0 match?

So…do you want a REWARD for doing nothing? OMG…how bad is gone this game.

I really miss the reward system of GW1:
- Rank, Glad and Champ points ONLY TO THE WINNING TEAM;
- Balthazar points only if the team kill someone;
- Chests only if you win HoH.

Less “farming-players”, just players that do their best to try to win the game.

LOL, and this is another STUPID THING.
Why we have to consider like tie break a stupid personal score when it mean nothing? (The team with the player with max scoreboard wins)

It’s so hard to implement those ideas like better tie break?
1) At the end of the game, if it’s a draw, the team that hold more capture points win;
2) At the end of the game, if it’s a draw and the teams have the same number of capture points let’s go to 550 points to win. The first team that get this will win.
3) 550 – 550? Look at number 1.

So, I was doing an arena battle room. For all intents and purposes, we were DESTROYED. 0 to 500. […] At th end of the match… absolutely no reward whatsoever.

Wait wait…let me understand. You do 0 points and you are asking for rewards? WOW.

From my point of view, reward (reward track, rank points, etc) should be give only to the victorious team. All this freaking kitten of PvErs that do PvP just for rewards will end easily. DOT.

This patch is the final hit to the PvP scene.

- rewards for hardcore PvPers are equal to 0;
- to change the skin of your character you have to spend transmutations charge;
- PvE Hero comes in soloQ and do it just for the rewards;
- if you do only PvP you have come to PvE and do dungeon if you want more rewards track;
- the matchmaking system and leaderboards are more broken then ever.

Seriously…this patch is again only dedicated to the PvErs…the PvP scene is seriously broken and an absolutly joke.

Of course the damage is caused by Minions…you have only few skill to deal smal damage and 0 skill to deal high damage. The minions are you damage skills.

Anyway, some days ago, after playing 400+ match with my THIEF, I started to play necro with a Condition/MM build. It’s incredible. In soloQ, this type of build runs very well because you only need to take a build to carry your team. Hambow, Decapper, MM, Spirit Ranger…all this builds are not very skilled-based, but in soloQ, where you have to try to carry an entire-team, are a MUST (with this terrible meta-game).

MM necro is very good, but it is very incredible if used also with brain. If you don’t care about your minions you are almost dead.

To kill easily an mm necro, destroy the minions with aoe, give him some knock down and he is already dead.

I don’t think removing the tracks is a good solution, I’m mostly a PvP player and I love them. I think that bringing PvE and PvP closer together is awesome. It sounds really weird that people only farm chests and don’t care about winning. When you win you progess on the reward tracks faster (I think? That’s what it feels for me at least), and farming dungeons is a faster way to get those rewards, possibly except for those weapons because you get them all the time (on the dungeon reward tracks that is)

It’s nonsensical, really; If you want these skins you’re better off doing PvE anyways. If you win I’m fairly sure that you progress twice as fast on those tracks.

Feels like a small minority of PvE players. The tracks is probably going to bring a massive amount of people to PvP, which really are the building blocks for a thriving PvP

“A LOT OF PEOPLE IN PVP” is one of the ingredients.

Today we have only this ingredient.

Anyway we need a lot of more important ingredients:

- A completely revisited MATCHMAKING SYSTEM;
- A completely revisited LADDER AND DIVISIONS SYSTEM;
- A completely revisited SEASONS SYSTEM.

All this things can give us a very nice PvP experience…now is a terrible PvP experience.

IMHO, this new patch is an amazing joke for PvPers.

WHY? Think 5 minutes.

- You want to change the skins of your armor or weapon? Before was free, now you have to use your trasmutation charge;
- You want to get some nice rewards? You need to go in PvE, do the dungeon and unlock some new rewards tracks;
- You just want to play some serious skilled tournament match? This is just impossibile because all PvErs that don’t care about win or losing a match comes in PvP to farm skins.

The results? SoloQ is the new hotjoin, TeamQ is full of 5-man team that don’t know how to do a simple rotation or some map-maccanics.

GuildWars 2 is a PvE based game, it will never become esport, it will never have a good ladder sistem, it will never have some good PvP mode like GW1.

The game is called “GUILD WARS” but there is not GvG.
The game is called “GUILD WARS” but there is not a competitive PvP scene.
The game is called “GUILD WARS” but the PvP aspect of the game is PvE-related.
The game should be called “GUILD IN PVE”.

I think SoloQ Leaderboard is totally broken.

Ok I’m done too. Before this patch I played in top400/500 zone. No playing for 24h and go in 93% zone and paired in soloQ with 0-skill players.

PvP after the patch is totally broken. Tournament matches = Hotjoin.

The real big problem is that we don’t have a Gold, Silver and Bronze division. If ladder have a better season system, maybe based on rank and number of tournament match played, all this “F**K OFF NOOBS” thread disappear.

I have played about 700+ tourney match…why I have to play with people that have something like 30 match played? Why I have to play with people that have played 3000+ tourney match?

A good ladder system will separate players based on their time spent in sPvP and of course base on their result (If you have played 500+ tourney but have lost the 70% of that, you are bad so you will go in the Bronze Division).

The starting point of every player also is the lower division. ATM the starting MMR value is too much high so the newbie will be grouped with veterans.

What about remove scores for cap, kill, etc?

Actually to my knowledge the tie breaker system is far more horrid than that. In the event of a tie: Red wins. The end. (Don’t even get me started on how bad this programming logic is….)

LOL if this thing is true….“ALL IS VAIN” fact is not enough.

Anyway…ANET speak everyday that rank means nothing (suuuuure…a r10 team vs r40 team is fair -__-), but why they don’t admit that personal score is useless?

In add of that, the personal score don’t help new players to understand the game meccanics:

- They could think that is usefull cap in mroe than 1 player because the system give 10 points of each of them(if you stay in 2 to cap close at start, somewhere in the map there is a 3vs4);

- They think that decap a point, cap it and than go away without defend it is good because they have earned 10+10 points(defending it can give you more team point because every 2 seconds the system give point for every capture points you hold);

- They think that try to stomp a downed players is everytime good because a kill is 5 points(stomp a player in the middle o AoE spam is a suicide…the other team can kill you and auto-rezz the downed player).

The fact is this: PERSONAL SCORE is dangerous for sPvP.

1) Who have 2 capture points win;
2) If capture points are 1/1/contested, then the first team to get another 50 points wins. (example 550)

Hi everyone,

I want to ask to some dev to think about remove personal scores in the sPvP. I will explain better:

- 10 points if you cap, 10 points if you decap, 5 points per kill…all this things means nothing: maybe a good bunker can defen their point the whole match, 0 kill, only 1 time cap, but he do a great job defending the capture point.

- A lot of player thinks that have 200/300 points per match is cool and pro. It’s not. Playing well and with your team…that’s cool and pro.

Specially today, that a lot of PvE players come in sPvP, they think that the mroe they cap/decap/kill, the most they seems pro.
Yesterday I was in a team and 2 players flame each other:
- “You noob!”
- “Me noob? I’ve done 200 points!!11!”
- “So what? I’ve killed the Lord in solo!!11”

Useless to say that we lost that match because one of them run random in the map to try to decap and solo kill, and the other one push lord at the start so we play 50% of the match somenthing like 3vs5.

You say that you have removed the rank because it’s not a skill based, but also the scores in a match means nothing, IMHO.

What do you think about it?

Now that HOTJOIN is 5vs5…yes…maybe this game-mode can help players to have IDEA what is tattic.

So…r30+, than welcome in TOURNEY. In those 2 days I have played 80% of my matches with people that cap a point in 2 people or not defending a capped point (RUN AWAYYYY!).

Glicko/Elo rating is the best way to match people in any game

This is true in single-player game, like chess.

In team-based games, Gliko and Elo could work very good if it estimate the value of the whole team, not the single player.
I try to explain better: if you are bad but in the first few match you are paired with good players, they can carry you in high position to continue to play with good players. If you are a very good player but in the first matches you are paired with low skill players…than…enjoy your low MMR.

Glicko/Elo are created to estimate the value of a player in 1vs1 or the value of a team in match teamVSteam.

Using glicko to estimate the value of a single-player that play in team, IMHO is not very good.

if matchmaking is/was based on rank, then how is that even relevant? from what i’ve seen before the patch / post patch matchups are not based on rank, but rather just whomever is queued…

Matchmaking has never used rank. We use the Glicko2 MMR algorithm. While we will always be limited to whoever is in the queue at any given time, we do not just throw players together at random.

Just a question for you from an “IT man”:

The system estimates the level of the player based on his results depends against who wins or who loses against. This system can operate in a single-player game. Like chess.

Why have implemented this system in a team game (5v5 leaderboard but based on the individual player)?

In this way, if a person is poor-skilled, but in the first match is coupled with good people and win 7 or 8 games, he will have a really high MMR.

Glicko or Elo can work in the evaluation of a player in a 1v1 or a whole team, for example GvG in GW1.

I re-do an old example of mine. Think about a really good basketball player, Allen Iverson. He is considered one of the best players ever, but if we check their stats of Philadephia 76 and take this stats in a single player leaderboard, Allen Iverson is not at the top, because other players in that team was not good.
Now, do a matchmaking: Allen Iverson (low MMR but amazing player) will be paired with poor-skill player. He can’t win a lot of match, He will stay forever in the poor-skill-zone of the leaderboard.

1) Native client. I know this will be very hard so I appreciate at least better perfomance. Somenthing like 10/15 FPS will be very cool.

2) More presence on the Mac forum by A-net. Of course, we are a little community, but we have payed this game like every player on this MMO, so we need YOUR ATTENTION too.

3) TP fix. I can’t add more things…this is the most know problem on this mac client.

4) and 5)? Don’t need it…the first 3 sentences are enough.

WE BOUGHT THIS GAME. WE PAYED THIS GAME.
IT’S OUR RIGHT TO HAVE A FULLY FUNCTIONAL PRODUCT IN OUR HANDS.

I think you miss understand what I meant by that.

What I meant was that although guild wars 1 started as a PvP focused game (as in the whole existence of PvE was to be a guide for PvP), later towards the end it became more PvE driven in content or the developers were focusing more on the PvE side, since it was the thing driving sales and making money as compared to the PvP side.

Also I love your are you trying to be clever, but what you clearly failed to realize was that what I said had nothing to do with how good or bad guild wars 1 PvP was. But i suspect you did not read what I said but was simply looking for a reason to attempt to be clever. How did that work out for you?

I have read all(yeah…I know how to read)…and again…I have an idea different from you.

WHY?

Simple: just check GW1 today and also remember GW1 in the ‘boom’ years.
The only thing that a lot of people done regoulary in PvE was farming.
The PvP side was, and is today, full everyday with top Guild in GvG or HA.
The PvP update contents were more frequent that PvE update contents.

This is what I think.

so…we all know that the official leaderboard pages of GW2 is really poor of stats and infos. Some days ago I see on this forum a link to a website that show the full leaderboards with personal stats and personal page for each players that is in leaderboards or was in leaderboard.

Guys…if they promise the update, it will come out in the next days for sure.
In real life, I’m a developer: I code everyday at every hour….and there is a law in te developer’s world: IF YOU PLAN TO FINISH A WORK IN X DAYS, YOU NEED X+1/2 X TO FINISH THAT WORK.

I trust them, so…just wait for the update coming in the next days.

The issue isn’t whether or not they’re still working on it.
The issue is that they haven’t said anything about it. If you say, ‘we will have an update for you later this week’, then people are going to expect it. If you’re still working on it by that time then you need to tell people, otherwise it looks like you’re just ignoring them.

Here you are right. Anyway…let’s wait. Now the client is not that bad.

Remember:

If you leave close undefended, it will be capped within 10 seconds. Always. No matter how empty things look, the moment you stop monitoring and keeping an actual eye on close, it will be lost.

Keep this in mind and you will lose fewer matches. It goes for any point really. If you’re in teamq, there can be exceptions. In soloq? Never.

Never, Ever, Leave a point undefended as a free cap.

COROLLARY:
If you choose to stay to defend close, no-one try to cap it. So you change your choose and go middle. That is the magic moment: close is decapped.

Unranked Queue

What about this:

1) TeamQ = 5vs5. Group of 5 man in the same team at the start. If you are in 3 players, let’s find other 2 calling some friends or LFG. Somenthing like HA, TA or GvG in GW1. You can start only if your party is composed by 5 people. MMR check is based on the team. And of course…GIVE US MULTIPLE WINS IN A ROW WITH RANK POINT BOOST FOR EVERY VICTORY IN THE SAME ROW.

2) SoloQ = 5vs5. Single player queue and 5 man team. Based on single player MMR, check if someone is AFK before the match start, and the only requirements is: YOU NEED TO BE AT LEAST RANK 20. This is a ranked Q, so why experience people have to get a free lose because played don’t now how th game work? LESS FLAME FOR NEW PLAYERS, MORE PEOPLE WILL ENJOY PVP WITHOUT LEAVING IT AFTER 5 MATCH.

3) Unranked SoloQ = 5vs5. Like soloQ but without leaderboard effect. Of course MMR is check for matchmaking (I need to try my build in team that have similar experience) but NO RANK REQUIRED. In this Queue, new players can learn more about maps and positioning, and gaining rank point to finally join RANKED QUEUES.

4) Hotjoin = removed.

I know what you are saying. Anyway, this are ranked match that hit a leaderboard…so why 4 poor guys must have a free lost game?

Of course, the volounter will have the winner reward anyway (also if him team lose the game)!

Hello everyone,

today I’m not here to start a QQ post, but I’m here to say my personal suggestions to have a better PvP experience, not about balancing(this is know fact) but about other important problems. So devs, please read this:

1) Problem n.1: 4vs5
I played a lot of 4vs5 match…sometimes I get a win because the other team was bad, but in 70% of the cases, 4vs5 = lose.
TO FIX THIS: maybe you could improve the VOLOUNTER SYSTEM like hotjoin: one player of the 5-man team go in observe, so the match will be 4vs4.If the 5th man of the 4-man team go back, then re-add the 2 players and get back a 5vs5.

2) Problem n.2: LOW RANK IN HIGH RANKED TEAMS.
I know, rank mean nothing, MMR rappresent the real value of a player. But seriously…think…a r3 rabbit start today SoloQ so he will have an MMR similar to r30+ players with 200+ active match…how this r3 could have the same experince and skill of the r30+?
TO FIX THIS: what about set a rank Value to start Solo/TeamQ? Maybe r20+. At this point, you know all pvp map and how them works, you have a little experience in the pvp system and you get less flame by your team.

3) Problem n.3: 3 THIEVES/ MESMER/ELE vs 3 WAR/GUARDIAN team
Why we can’t have balanced teams? How can a 3 mesmer team defeat a 3 guardian team? Of course, sometimes could happen (1 times I won with 4 thieves vs balanced), but if the 2 teams have the same level of skill, this is pretty impossible.
TO FIX THIS: It’s easy. In every team we could have MAX 2 player with the same profession and maybe create a balancing system for Armor Level.
