1. Just to give everyone an alternate perspective… I died right beside Kwayzee in the Lords Room when Mag rushed in… my 1st thoughts were not “Spy’s”… it was “Wow” look how well run Mag is… Our Commanders always say “don’t rush Lords Room… go up Stairs clear walls and siege 1st.” Yet often DR gets Blinded by Glory and has a One Track Mind.. in Capping a Circle and Killing the Lord… Are there Mag spy’s on Alt accounts in DR…? Id be naive if I believe there were not.

2. I try my best to make friendships in every Match-Up DR faces… I have a Large Friends List… some on DR server frown on what they see as “Fraternizing w/ the Enemy”… I see it as “Good Sportsmanship” offering Respect to other Honorable Players… A friend from Kain… a server we fought for Months… gave me My current build for my D/D Ele… And player from Mag did talk to DR ppl willing to listen about promoting/playing a Mezmer in the WvW environment… He was completely Honorable and a Great Representative of Maguuma as a Server… You should be Very Proud to Have him as a Player.. P.S. he did hint about us joining Maguuma

3. Last night I was killed by a Maguuma Thief on the Bridge to Center Island BlueBriar side…Hmmm how to best describe him..? Lets say… He was dressed like a “Pirate that was not in the Closet cause he was searching for Narnia…” he decided to dance on my corpse… while the Zerg took the Tower then he waited a bit after Zerg moved on… i’m guessing he was trying to Comfort me over my untimely Death… I am Greatful for his taking a few moments out of his day while Consoling me & Providing Solace…

Never duel with LARP unless you have friends near by or they will jump you if you start winning, it has happened to us before. They are a bunch of cowards who will never fight equal numbers because they will get rolled.

All OG is, is forum bravado and a few dueling specs, nothing special. We get better fights from Mag from other guilds there, we’ll continue to enjoy fights with those folks.

Video should be out of the zerg busting in a few nights once Oozo has time to mess with them. Was a fun zerg stomp, we probably had 12-14 with us consisting of 1 BSty, about 5-6 Larp/Noqq.

No you misread, the Larp/Noqq and Bsty count is added with our total.Hence the phrase “consisting of”. So still 14ish, i’ve been informed the third group might have been full but I can think of who was in it though.

I’ll give you 15, that’s pretty small compared to a zerg of 30+.

Wiping would imply you killed all of us. I am pretty sure I made it out alive since I recall killing some poor OG guy on the way back to garrison.

DR has never had a zerg of a 100 people.

Funny DR zerged there way to Tier 5, face some numbers and skilled players and DR results to forum smack.

I used to be on DR, I have seen 100 man DR zerg……….. But one thing DR never did from lower tiers was learn some solid tactics for WvW.

1st… that’s impossible.. no one has ever seen a 100 man Zerg… Not w/ Anets Graphics rendering and culling…

2nd… OTW to tier 5 Devona’s set the record for consecutive Wins… Set the Record for Most Points in a week… in tier 5 we ran into a better organized & greater “WvW” population server… and did the best we could… DR has every right to Hold our Head’s High & has nothing to be ashamed of…

Plus we have learned from every server we played against.. . Even this match-up…stuff like…

I see lots of excuses for the behavior that comes from your tag. Lot’s and Lot’s of excuses. Dred is the king of flippnig excuses when he lacks the perfection he likes to portray. So, what are you doing to fix how your guild is being viewed by the server? How are you trying to save a little face? It’s bothersome that we are stuck on a server together and your group cant get it together enough to show some respect to the other people on the same server. It makes it hard to understand how you can even try to pretend to care about the server when you talk to its populous like they are beneath you. Too Many Excuses.

From the rantings I have seen from You and Dred, I feel conflicted. I see the point and the argument but you suck at talking to people. Why do I want to even deal with you or him out there? Yep Zerging is a losing formula. If you are serious about staying and working on this server, getting away from zerging, you need to learn how to deal with people. you will never get the numbers you need talking how you talk.

Can you not imagine that while you are ranting that people are simply wishing you would shut up? Can you not imagine that if people are getting sick of you that they are prolly ignoring you? Eyan formed an alliance of the Guilds willing to put past feelings aside and start New.

2nd. [PRO] has offered a Team speak w/ personal/private channels for Guilds that want to take part in this Effort.. (I should add that it was Drednyte that Fronted the Money to pay for the TeamSpeak) you may not like how or what Dred says… but you cant say he doesn’t want Devonas to be the best

3rd. Others in [PRO] have spoken to Dred about his Forum Posts and Map Chat Rants… (it seems Dred will be Dred) sigh

4th. Yorgy… you were Wrong about Eyan… he has posted twice in the Forums and you Quoted 1 of them… if you read Eyan’s post with all this info in mind you may get a different perspective. Well [LARP] from what I have seen in the Few Days we have played against [OG] they are Very Impressive… they have one Mezmer that managed to spawn “6 illusions” at once today at DR Bay… and a Thief that is so good… he can go “Stealth” w/out any effect… no flash of “Blinding Powder” or the House effect from “Shadow Refuge”… he likes to cast it when he goes to Rez a Downed Player… it looks like the Player AltF4… but if you wait a few seconds (keep attacking the spot) they are both still there… they must be very good indeed… justsay’n

People that follow my Forum Posts… know that i try to keep things humorous, honest & friendly between the Servers…

I know many here do not Like [PRO]… We are a Medium Sized Guild and like any Family Dynamic we have disagreements w/ in the Group… We dont always Agree w/ the Politics, Actions, and Statments made by all our members.

First… I was the Mezmer that was stuck inside the Wall at Hills in AR… when AD/Btsy used Guild Cata’s to take out Paper wall… just moments before Reinforced walls finished trapping me inside… and couldn’t get out by WayPoint because i was in combat… till someone told me to alt F4

2nd… I would be willing to testify in a Court under Oath… that Blaster was doing Exactly what he Claims… Testing to see if the Patch fixed the Issue… i asked to go w/ him because i wanted to see How it was Done… i am the 1st Person to say “Keep the Game Honest”.. i would Never allow someone To Cheat w/out Reporting it… Period… Even someone in My Guild… but the Knowledge of what ppl are doing to Cheat to is needed to Prevent Cheating… if you dont believe that… ask Any Floor Manager at a Casino

The Haters will point fingers & think what they want… but what ive said here is the Truth… in hindsight: it wasnt the Wisest coarse of action because of the Appearance of Impropriety… the Only thing i regret is… that Our Own Server was Implicatedby Our Action… for that i do owe an Apology to All of Devona’s Rest… for that i am truely Sorry

Maybe some of the people who are more familiar with the system can comment on this one. Does DR benefit more by having a bigger point spread versus NSP than against AR since NSP was the green server at one time. I think your rating also depends on past performance of the servers you are facing.

If so, it would make sense for DR to go after NSP more than AR. Correct me if I’m wrong (which I may very well be).

Wow this Thread fell apart… Everyone has an Opinion base on their own Perspective… and based on the Server they are located… and the Battles they have fought… Its false Logic to argue from a specific instance then make a general statement based solely that instance.

I’m in HoD just so you know, I was just informing you that you can only win in big groups, that’s why you guys have so much. 2 groups of DR in our BL that consist of about 50 people each is kinda hard to do anything against. Adult Magazine… you seem a bit confused… ill see if i can help… World vs World vs World is where 3 Servers battle over 3 Homelands and Eternal Battle Grounds… it only allows a max number of players per Battle Land from any one server… before forcing a Queue once that limit is reached… we can not field more players than HoD at anytime because of the Queue… HoD can only decided not to show up to Defend or attemp to Conquer… that is HoD’s problem and has nothing to do w/ Devona’s Rest… If you have an issue w/ DR’s Numbers then Match Them… but Thank You for your concern about Devona’s Rest’s Future…

Once upon a time, ET was apparently among one of the top dogs of WvW. Well, I wasn’t playing then so I had no idea.

But right now, I think this really confirms it, ET’s rock bottom, totally. At least we have a reasonable matchup somewhat, but I think a lot of ET would agree that it was better when we are matched up with HoD. Still, Looking at how DR’s facerolling the rest, I guess the best possible matchup would be ET vs HoD vs SF.

You will only improve by competing against great competition… i can say Ferg and Kain you are missed by many in DR… you both deserve to be ranked much higher…

to my Opponents that ive had the great fortune to befriend… to chat with… ask Gameplay advice… or discuss ppl hacking and keeping the Game Honest… you have my gratitude and respect…

To those that feel some [PRO] are Ignoring them in whispers or being Rude… its not what you think… for some of our Members, English is a 2nd Language… Most times that ppl try to communicate w/ our Commanders… is in the Middle of battle… when things are in kaos… and they are recieving dozens of whispers at once… and they are a bit frustrated w/ tide of battle… Plz concider this before casting judgement…

2nd for those ppl that are requesting to join [PRO]… Phizyn is the Leader, and do to resent events… all new ppl must be approved by him… We are looking for Experienced W3 players that want to work as a team… You should have level 80 Character w/ Exotics… w/ the knowledge of what your Class is best suited for in Battle… you should be willin to Download TS3… also our TS3 is full of… lets say “explicit language & topics”… not a place for those that are “Sensitive”…

Also my experience w/ Commanders from other DR guilds has been mostly Positive… Some ppl hate the “Zerg Karma/Experience Train” types… it does pull from current Map objectives… Yet, what it does do is build Loyality… It builds New Characters, and teaches new W3 palyers the Maps… those Commanders build a following of Future DR W3 fighters.. to Win in the Future… on higher tiers, we will need and be greatful for them… having said that… if your a Zerg Commander… you should answer the call when your whispered “Gate is at 20% plz bring the Zerg”…

Greetings to all… most arguments on this forum would be false logic in any debate… you cannot argue from a specific instance and draw correlation to a general statement. Logic requires multiple repeated examples and must also allow for exceptions. You can argue a specific instance… in that instance. You can argue a general statement only within that general statement. If you use several specific instances to build a case for a General statement… even then you must allow for perspective

Greetings to all… Its Darwin Ism/ Thin the Herd … the 3rd best player in WvWvW… Ranked behind #1 Mighteous & #2 Mighteous’s Ego … ive been browsing the forums this week and pleased that the “Hate” level seems to have dropped of a bit… and ppl are more respectful of their opponents…

I had a great laugh the other day when i came upon a team of Kains that killed me, as i was turning corner leaving Spawn point… and they dropped a FlameRam as a Grave Marker… i sought them out and cost them another 12 silver in FlameRams… (take that Kain’s… im draining your server of $$$ one death at a time)

I also see im not the only person that has found the Joy of Reading Devona Dred’s nightly ReCap… he has become Devona’s version Tokyo Rose … filling the Fourms w/ [PRO] propoganda… give in Shanagins and noobler … its only a matter of time before the Stockholm Syndrome sets in from reading Dred’s Posts and you find yourself singing the praises and agreeing w/ Drednyte

to the Ferg Ranger that found Thin The Herd capping the island Vista last night… we had a great fight… you had me down… and i was able to rally as you died from my Illusions… only to die again myself a second later, as a pair of Kain’s stumbled upon us… or i promise i would have bowed and saluted you for the honor of the fight…

I was very pleased to see that Kain’s leadership wanted to see evidence of possible Hacking by Players of their server… Proof that they want a honest fight… a testament to their Honor…

Shanaigans… i am a [PRO] member. i agree [GASM] [WvW]and [Red] should have their praise’s sung about. And i understand your thinking about [PRO] given the misunderstandings, accuations, and heated exchanges that have occured. But the guild is full of many great ppl. And given the chance to know us, im sure you would not condem us all.

i can tell you for a fact, i would not follow someone that i felt was Cheating/Hacking ect… i can tell you from my experience, that Phizyn has been a Good leader… that trys to keep everyone inline. As for Dred leaving the DR server to head for Kain’s.. i can tell you that most of us in TS were angry that he left and went there of all places… while we were in the middle of a WWW.. i can tell Shanagians, that i told anyone that Killed him and sent a Screen Shot to me.. id mail them a Bounty for Killing Dred.. I can tell you that many ppl sought out Dred just to Kill him for Transfering… i can tell you that if i were Phizyn… i would not have been so quick to forgive Dred and let him return.. but to me this is an example of Phizyn’s leadership skills that he forgave Dred…

Phizyn cant control every random Donkey and what they post in Fourm… as i am an example… and again.. a Commander Icon can be any fool w/ 100gold… We at [PRO] follow Phizyn because he has demonstrated he is a good leader.. he was Man enough to apologize when he realized he was wrong for accusing your team of Hacking… credit him for that… Credit him for being a worthy opponent.. he has earned that… as have many [PRO] members… just my 2 cents
