The solution is easy, the only “problematic” spawns are the aetherblade pirates. This can easily be fixed by changing it so once the aetherblade moral is depleted and the aetherblade captain spawns, no more aetherblade trash spawns from that area. So there is some farming, but the amount is basically cut in half. This also makes the aetherblade spawns easier and brings them more in line with all other invasion types.

Every hour on the hour give or take a minute, a new zone will be attacked, it is shown on “the note on the side of your screen” which zone it is. The zone will fill up fast, but they have set it so the invasion event will run in all overflows that were created within 10 minutes of the invasion starting. So as long as you go there within 10 minutes you will get into a zone with the event running.
If it’s past 10 minutes, it’s likely you’ll get into an overflow where the event isn’t running, because events run concurrent on all servers, and there are lots of people who are also showing up late, and continually creating new overflows that are past the 10 minute mark. At that point, you’ll need to find someone who’s in a zone with the event running and join them in their instance of the zone.
If you get the random pvp converter just use it, the catcher skins are a bug that will be fixed soon hopefully, idk why you would want to bank un-id account bound dyes rather than just use them, weapons are soulbound you need to use the locker to make them account bound anyways (enter hotm with your alt and pull the item from the locker then leave the mists to put him back to where he was, log back on your main and deposit the copy), just use 1 salvage kit at a time, you don’t get 250 stacks of mats that quickly, that you need regular access to bank.
While a bank would be nice there in very infrequently for pvp reasons, the main reason anyone would want one in there is for easy access for pve reasons.
This is intentional and will, most likely, not be altered…
This is done to prevent exactly what the poster above said he was trying to do (buying an excessive amount of these high-tier items and chucking them into the Mystic Toilet in hopes of getting something very valuable and unattainable with the same resources used to buy the items thrown in)
In short, don’t buy them unless you intend on using them, and expect them to be more-or-less just trashed when you decide to upgrade equipment.. In other words, don’t buy them unless you plan on using them for long enough to make the price make sense to you….
You should probably read things and try to comprehend them before responding. There is a merchant in WvW who sells exotic weapons, the original weapons he sells since the game released are usable in the mystic forge, months later they added new weapons with different stats on him, these new weapons, with the exact same costs as the original ones, can not go into the mystic forge. If it was intentional and not a bug, then all the weapons he sells would either be mystic forgable or not.

Hey someone revived my old thread, I just ended up deleting about a dozen of em because I got tired of them taking up bank space. I’d suggest you do the same, they could care less.
Currently I’ve been in queue for over 35 minutes, when I click the leave button, it does nothing. Tried logging out, and switching chars, but it nothing is fixing it.
Yes we received the points retroactively, I remember logging on after the patch and having gained like 70 points.
The past achievements and the points you earned for them for the activities tied to a living story event in the past are exactly where they were when you earned them, under that living story’s tab now moved the historical section because they ended.
They added new achievements for each activity for you to earn now, under the activities tab, that has no bearing or affect on the past achievements already earned.
My guess would be the citizens of Divinity’s Reach revolt because of the Queen’s extravagant spending of throwing herself a 10 year jubilee, which they deem excessive and self congratulatory, since a monarch’s rule isn’t usually celebrated with a jubilee till their 25th year as ruler. Typical politician spending taxpayers’ money willy nilly.
My suggestion would be that points while alive are double what you get from when you’re a ghost. So killing someone while you’re alive is 10 points vs 5 while a ghost, trap 4 vs 2, scavenging 2 vs 1. This makes more incentive to try to live, rather than die very quickly and get the revenge motes while there are still dozens of them around.
I don’t exactly like how the game rewards hiding from everyone versus actively seeking out the other survivors, but that isn’t really fixable with scoring.
The Zenith skins do not prevent an item from being salvaged, it takes its properties from the item you skinned, including if it can be salvaged or not. Going to guess you used a WvW weapon, those are all unsalvageable.
Just ran into this same bug, the tradable skins when converted into pvp items can’t be deposited into the pvp locker.

How does one get the guild kite though? O.o
To get the guild kite, there is a kite maker npc in the LA’s bank, you need to have a kite in your inventory and a dialogue option will appear when you interact with him. Engage him in his dialogue and he’ll offer to put the guild emblem on your kite for a fee, this opens up a different vendor window than his normal one, where he sells guild kites for 1 wind, sun, or lightning kite + 15 gold.

My biggest gripes with Skyhammer would be the cannon is just too important to the entire game, it’s too damaging while also having precise aiming.
Another minor issue would be the cannon’s platform is annoying, camera clipping into the wall as your port up, and while fighting up there and get knocked back and feared all over the place.
I don’t mind the breaking glass, it takes some skill at least for players to maneuver you to fall to your death.
Also, I wouldn’t mind if the cannon was killable, people would need to think twice about what abilities they are using up by the cannon, and would allow teams to remove the cannon from play if they choose to.
This is just how pvp items work in the game, the only issue is them giving a touney win chest with 6 items in it to people who aren’t familiar with the mechanics, and have no desire to pvp. Just click on your deposit collectables option and you’ll never have to worry about seeing your random free, but useless to you loot again.
If we were talking about “balancing” the leaderboard and making it less about dailies and more about doing harder and a wider variety of achievements, I’d agree about doing something about daily and monthly achievement points, probably setting a cap on the max that count towards your achievement total.
However, in regards to this new reward system, it in no way negatively impacts anyone else how many achievement points you personally have, you aren’t graded against others in unlocking these new skins and rewards. How many achievement points you do have and thus how many additional rewards you unlock is just completely up to the player and much effort they have put in thus far and in the future. So, automatically it seems any complaints and want to reduce others’ achievement points are coming from a place of premature jealousy that others will have stuff that you won’t yet, because you haven’t put in the monotonous and boring work for it.

Why are you listing those separately btw? Why didn’t you just say 4 pieces of Heavy t3 armor?
Anyways, you probably bought a double of the same tier and same slot. IE. if you buy 2 Tier heavy helms, that only counts as 1 towards the achievement. Likewise if you buy T3 heavy helm and T3 medium helm, that also just counts as 1 towards the achievement.
You can also get a passion flower in place of karka shells.
It’s been 2 major updates since these weapons were put in, and they remain unusable in the mystic forge.
To restate the issue, there are multiple exotic weapons you can buy using gold and badges of honor. The original weapons with Soldier/Sentinel stats called Invader “weapon name” are usable in the mystic forge, however the newer stat sets Berserker’s “weapon name”, Knight’s “weapon name”, etc can not be put into the mystic forge. Please fix it so all the exotic wvw items can be used in the forge, not just the original ones.
You get the achievement when you are holding the crab and everyone else in the game is knocked down on the ground by karka, it has nothing to do with holding the crab when the match ends. You’d never be able to tell if it was bugged, because it would require you to be watching everyone else in the game to make sure they are on the ground when you are holding the crab at any time.
I got it finally by ignoring trying to win and just focusing on getting the crab and then running directly into the veterans with the dash skill. It’s mostly luck, but it’s not bugged, just difficult.
Anyways, to everyone complaining, get the 100 grabs and 300 carries achievements done and if you still don’t have Crabtactular done, then that’s the time to complain, it’s too hard.

Interesting, concept for several of the legendaries in game are on there, but also 1 that didn’t make the cut apparently. Judging from the clouds and lightning, it looks like it would have been Meteorlogicus. I don’t know if I like it better or worse than the current design.
It’s purchasable in WvW I know at least, master armorer, bottom tab for statless skins.
I’ve had experiences where one ori node was near another, where I could see both on my mini-map, and mining the first one, also made the other ori node disappear.
I think it has to do with patches or any server down, where if you did mine all the nodes before the server goes down, and log in between the server coming back up but before the daily reset you can see all the new nodes, but the game keeps track of how many ori nodes each character should be able to gather in each zone per day and once you strike it. you reach your limit again, and it makes all the new nodes disappear.

If they consider D/D too strong, they need to nerf MH dagger abilities and stop nerfing offhand dagger abilities, because offhand also affects S/D users, and S/D is by no means overpowered.
If they want to nerf D/D eles, they need to focus on mainhand dagger abilities, not always the offhand dagger skills.
S/D eles keep getting nerfed as a result, and they are already weaker than D/D. Even though S/D has access to the same offhand dagger skills and trait build, it’s never brought up as overpowered and is generally considered bad.
MH dagger attacks need to be toned down in damage and/or maybe not have so many additional effects to each attack.

^ If you dc in combat, it kills you, and rewards exp, loot, etc to your killer. This was changed months ago to prevent people exploiting logging out to avoid dying.
Whatever the guy is doing is extremely shady and intentional on his end. Both times he only disappears when he is nearing death. Seems like he’s teleport hacking back into his spawn point and then coming back out when he’s healed back up.
The original exotic, WvW weapons can go into the mystic forge, exotic weapons bought with dungeon tokens can go into the mystic forge. It seems like an oversight these new exotic WvW weapons can’t go into the forge.
The lfg messages for CoF p1 get increasingly stupid as each day goes by, Now being required to ping your gear to prove your zerker upon joining group is the norm. The super serious farmers have more requirements for their groups than high level fractals or arah 4 recruitment. It’s like… your community college having tougher standards to attend than Yale.
Anyways, CoF p1 really needs to buffed to make it harder. The designer of this dungeon failed majorly, even when he fixed the early “exploits” that made it the quickest and easiest dungeon, it still is the quickest and easiest dungeon.

Dolyak caravans can drop supplies as part of their loot, when they do, it shows up in a wooden chest.
It would be nice if they just added em on a merchant for like 2000 relics, 20 pristine relics, 5 shards of mist as the cost. Kills two birds with 1 stone, making a more reasonable way to get the skins and creates a sink to get rid of superfluous FotM tokens everyone, who runs it a lot, has.
Would great to get a reply on this, since I have a bunch of these filling my bank now. Will the new weapons added be made mystic-forgable like the original versions are.
Lost Shores, even though the large scale fight was horribly laggy… it had the best loot by far.
You aim to land right on the front edge of the ledge, you are barely touching the sticky plants, but it doesn’t trigger them and then use your candle there to burn em.
It doesn’t take the place of any of the chest items, it’s on a separate table. So again you have no reason to complain. This is easily seen in smaller chests or if you actually knew how many items you were suppose to be getting from the chest you did open. For example I’ve been doing an easy jump puzzle with 5 characters to get some coins, its chest gives 3 items, when there is a coin, it’s a 4th item and I’m still getting 3 items in addition to it. Basically, you were complaining about getting a free item that in no way affects your other loot gain.

I randomly got one from the Temple of Dwayna chest today, so yeah it is possible to get them from chests other than jump puzzles. Is that a problem? No… if you don’t want it just delete it. I don’t get the point of whining about something you can easily remedy yourself.
The new level 80 exotic weapons IE. Berserker’s, Carrion, etc added to the WvW weaponsmith can not be put in the mystic forge, however the original Invader’s weapons can be mystic forged.
So either the new weapons are bugged because they can’t go into the mystic forge, or the original Invader weapons are bugged because they can go into the mystic forge.
Laurel price is pretty high, they based the laurel price on how long it would take to get one doing only 1 guild mission a week and then made it equivalent if only doing dailies for the same amount of time. Guild commendations are by all means easier to get, all you have to do is participate in the killing of 1 mob and you’re done for the week, and that is the equivalent of doing 7 dailies quests. Anyways, I’m very happy with the 12 commendation price, I won’t be wasting laurels on accessories.
All the ascended gear isn’t soulbound till you equip it, seems hardly “accidental” you bought it and equipped it with the character other than the one you wanted the gear on, and not just once with multiple pieces of gear.

Honestly, the daily chest for clearing the temple and then gaining access to it’s karma merchant is enough. On a lot servers now, the temples are run as soon as they reset by people wanting to get the daily chest. If you love taking temples, perhaps it’s time to move to a more popular server, or at least guest to one.
They already think AoE’s are too powerful now when they are only hitting 5 players, so much so they are working on a way to nerf them, no way are they raising the 5 cap.
I actually love the fractal gs and changed from wanting Twilight to the gs (pursuing Bolt instead). But it depends per weapon. Mace? Pretty dang cool for the fractal weapon. Daggers? Not so much.
I actually think the fractal dagger is one of the better ones, constant mist effect along the whole blade that leaves a trail of white as you move, 2 of the glowing, rotating cubes, and most importantly clear idea what weapon it is while looking at it.
Yeah, ascended gear should just be skins, especially when all ascended gear currently in game is jewelry. Man it will be so awesome to show off their completely non-visual appearence to people, they are gonna be so jelly.
In other WvW games, after an enemy player was killed, you could go up to the corpse and interact with it (basically staking a downed player in this game) and it would force them back to their closest res area. This game needs a similar mechanic, where you can do something to the corpse to force em back to their spawn.
This would be nice, I don’t particularly care for any of my elite skills.
Think he’s saying when he’s specced glass cannon, he wants to do damage comparable to other classes when they are specced glass cannon, probably thieves and warriors.
So he wants his glass cannon ele to be more cannon because they have the lowest hp and armor of all classes, so they are plenty glass when specced for straight dps. So it doesn’t seem like a fair trade, when your glass cannon does good damage w/ the lowest hp and armor in the game, and other classes with higher hp and armor also do noticably more damage.
