U guys mind tweak how regeneration boon works? Unlike other boons that gives FLAT bonuses from different players, regeneration varies depending on each players healing power so how do we know what the exact of amount of HP healed per second when regeneration is refreshed from another player with less/more healing power than the previous player that apply the regeneration boon?thats y i’m suggesting :
1.change the regeneration skill tooltip to be more precise as to X hp healed/second rather than a vague X hp healed/10 seconds (it helps how my cleric guard could survive multiple burst damage at once by calculating precisely how much i can endure)
2.more importantly make it so that the amount of hp healed from regeneration stacks cumulatively from different players as long as the duration of the boon (and please make it so that we can see the numbers HP healed/second easily by either making an extra number frame on HP UI)
I’ll be the source. The invasions are sticking around until the Scarlet storyline is complete. Telling you exactly when it will end would probably spoil a lot of stuff. You can at least count on them regularly occurring through the end of this year.
mind u keep invasion like living story events for future? Its much more fun than the usual boring waste of time living story cheesy plots not to mention it increased the quality of community’s communication despite all the controvercies

op u missed ur “stronger than ur usual champ” champ like the giant branded devourer in Field of Ruins and try tanking champs without P/V/T gears
There are some changes in the upcoming release to mitigate the severity of this problem. We’re also looking at making some long-term improvements to the Twisted Clockwork invasions.
may i suggest the following :
1. Change the aether wave to be always the first wave, mitigating delay due to farming
2. Reduce the threshold amount of minions killed by approximately 20% to trigger the next wave
3. Disable commander tags to be toggled on invasion maps to help diverse peeps instead of just concentrating peeps into an area which eventually spawns champs and farming
4. Increase the reward pool if scarlet defeated by minimum 500%
5. Increase the invasion map capacity to sustain more peeps
6. Change the "CHAMPS ONLY RED CIRCLE " spawn area icon to become in line with the generic red swords

Same thing is happening in NSP like above mentioned and quite frankly we are getting seriously ticked off. Not only is it a ton of guests, they are starting events EARLY on purpose, so you nearly miss Arah, Grenth, and Lyssa IF YOU CAN EVEN GET INTO YOUR OWN HOME SERVER. This is utterly ridiculous. I posted on this months ago. Solution is deprioritize guests, as in if a home person clicks the zone, the guests get BUMPED into overflow in a last in first out format, it is simple so simple, same way a WP that is contested bumps you. Or make it so guests don’t get rewards. Or END GUESTING. It has been a year. Go to your “friends” server already and STOP PUTTING ME IN OVERFLOW JUST SO YOU CAN HAVE WVW BENEFITS AND STEAL SLOTS FROM PEOPLE THAT PICKED A SOLID PVE SERVER over a WVW one a YEAR AGO.
oh noes but i really love guesting to nsp for frostgorge train due to how amazing the REALLY SLOW dps peeps are sporting there! It helps alot when map loading is so slow with dps tat slow

As somebody who wants to finish the event (because I am primarily motivated by success, not loot), I am so. so. so. tired of farmers ruining this for me. If you fixed it so that champs didn’t spawn when the Aetherblade Pirate Captain is up (and, like you suggested, added Empyreal Fragments on victory), I think that’d go a long way toward making it better.
sure goodluck finishing invasions without ANY FARMERS entering those invasion maps who always SPEEDS UP 1st and 2nd wave in order to farm final wave (aether monies yummy), besides why do u think peeps like me hop on my cleric guard doin invasions leaving my frostgorge farm with my warr if the monies is not worthed it?
if u want someone to blame, BLAME THOSE SILLY COMs who pile on each other instead of splitting up and succeeding the invasions!
you only need to deal 5k damage to champs (at least 750k hp) in order to get gold medal and loot, which is freaking easy unless u’re playing on a server with a 50+ peeps zerg which slows ur loading screen speed (just guest to those less populated servers)
when they jump, their posture look kitten ridiculious which nullifies “tough scary” beastmen race and their 4 legs running speed is tooooooo slow making them less threatening (imagine a lion tat runs like a turtle; would u run asap instead of laughing first then run)
oh really?i foresee the increasing difficulty would be tequatl spawns TONS of champs and we all know how it went with the fail/succeed invasions!
would u guys mind if u add a MASSIVE karma jug that can be bought with 1 stack of 250 liquid karma/drip/jug/else?at least it will solved the notorious excessive karma clicking

As the title said, what if both Evon and Kiel didn’t win due to political intricts and schemes? GW2 has already showed how bad power politics played in Kryta and we’re talking “sophisticated” looking politics in Kryta while we’re expecting ruthless, brutal politics suitable to cuththroat politics (publicy slander political opponents can’t be executed in Kryta while in LA its FFA!)so I’m wondering what happens if one of em or both didn’t win the election, and i like to think some scenarios like these :
1. Election results in a winner and a loser, the loser openly accuse the winner for cheating votes and may result in :
a)if Evon lose, expect Evon paybacks players who chose Kiel by increasing their TP tax (justification for more greedyness eh u kitten?)
b)if Kiel lose, expect Kiel paybacks players who chose Evon by accusing em something terrible (might be more interesting if she’s the rumoured puppetmaster)
2. Same scenario as number 1, but before the “coronation” of the winner, the loser accuse the winner for cheating and might do:
a) assasination
b) riot which may cause to civil war or in this pirate thingy, just call it “mutiny” war
c) sabotage which may result in damaging the city wellbeing (infrastructure or trade)
3. Before the loser makes a move against the winner, a third party assasinates the winner and scapegoats the loser which may result in :
a) chaos
b) execution or banishment of the loser
c) players forced to seek out the plot and do justice against the third party
d) as a result of scenario 3b, the vacant captain’s council seat still left empty, players must help and “guard” the upcoming candidates
e) cut all the crap and a Quaggan pirate captain(the one in Timberline Falls) or a wannabe pirate Quaggan (was his name Pegleg?) walks the candidate election runs and win the seat by popular vote due to Tyrian Quaggan Fans Club?
and please feel free to post other interresting scenarios lol
PS : choose the Quaggan or Lion’s Arch will be purged in flames!

Well engineer’s mechanics are very very situational, like using Mortar to dps cof1 gate from a safe spot, using grenade kit to constantly dps coe3 destroyer boss without having a reduced dps mechanic for jumping down and ramping up like those melee dpsers. And even then my only complaint is tat Engi’s main dps is from the grenades kit which isn’t auto attackable like other weapon skills and i hate breaking my fingers ( i dun need excessive clicking like clicking millions of karma)
Yes, because buffs to underpowered skills (which we’re not even sure if they’re still worth using or not, and if they are, they’ll take the place of other key skills) is ground breaking. And I didn’t know that a single stealth skill is now suddenly going to make Ranger a “perma stealth” profession.
Let’s not forget that necromancers were nerfed today, or that rangers and mesmers were nerfed last patch while elementalists have gotten many, many buffs there.
But hey, it’s easier to play the victim card. Oh noes, they don’t care about us! Oh noes! Remember those popular pvp heartseeker thief builds that could burst someone in 2 seconds out of nowhere? Fresh Air elementalists can now do the same while being at range and offering superior aoe damage and party support. Oh noes, we’re so weak!
1. 3 seconds stealth on a skill with 12 seconds cooldown results in stealth for 25% of the time + buffed dmg due to the synergizing first strike.
2. Necromancers got one single nerf, 17% less dmg on terror. That is nothing. The rest were harsh buffs, especially heal while being in death shroud.
3. Then I demand too buffs and reworks to all the underpowered and worthless skills, traitlines and weapons of the elementalist. Why do you think, nearly every elementalist runs around with the same build? Because everything else is useless crap.
4. Mesmers had a lot of buffs and definitly desperatly needed nerfs in the last patch, while elementalists were nerfed once again after having been nerfed again and again and again and again. We lost our stun breakers, got our dmg nerfed, staff is still not viable because it needs much more than just some cast/aftercast tweaks and the only thing ArenaNet has actually done was making one single more build slightly viable: Fresh Air-Scepter/Dagger-Build. One single build that is good only for one single thing: Burst, because you are squishy like crap, your heal is bad and most of the time you still have to go into melee range.
5. If you get onehitted by fresh-air-elementalists, than you are a glascannon. Means: He did his job, because burst is all he is able to. If you just dodge his skills or use a shield or whatever, then you can easily kill him – his skills are on cooldown, he deals low dmg and is squishy like kitten.
6. You obviously either don’t play the elementalist or you must be an absolute pro (I doubt that.) Currently the elementalist is true kitten for PvE, he has no use there at all. In PvP he is mediocre, all he can do is either burst or bunker. In both cases other classes are in a far better spot right now.
So yes, i play the victim card, as the elementalist got nerfed, nerfed again, then kicked while he was laying on the ground and finally they buffed every other profession so he becomes even more crap.
Tell me pls: What is the one thing that makes the elementalist unique? Where is he good at? He can’t specc for full dmg, it doesn’t make sense. He can’t specc for full protection or heal, doesn’t make sense. Like ANet said already: Jack of all traits, master of none. In other words: Crap for everything. Just the proof that they hate the profession.
In other mmos, jack of all trades classes excels vs pugs/pubbies while sux at tournies tat requires specialization. Shall we draw a comparison then? In GW2, D/D ele excels at spvp or havoc fights (tournies like environment) while staff ele excels at zergfest PVE or zergfest WvW (pugs/pubbies like environment). So whats tat crap for eveything stuff?

Pardon me if its disgusting topic but i was wondering if actually LA is stinks of uhhhh poo and pee?From my observation, LA’s city architecture DOES NOT show anything tat resembles advanced sanitary technologies , yes LA got sewers but as u can see ingame, LA’s sewers connected directly to the sea canals thats surrounding the city not to mention an asuran npc spams “we only have outhouses” when being asked by a charr npc (this makes it worse cuz outhouses dump poo directly to the sea, making the sewers useless) which eventually leads us to conclusion : Are we all being trolled by TROLLNET for swimming in an ocean of poo all this time????

1. Divinity’s Reach, as a medieval like city yet bearing some renaissance technology(water pump, huge water pipes and a closed sewers), i can exclude DR from stinky city….! besides i’m not sure if the Six wanna a stinky city to worship them!
2 .The Grove, plants peeps dun poo or pee period, excluded too! or MAYBE NOT cuz i suspected these plant peeps use other races’s natural waste as somekind of a “fertilizer” for their tree city! Stinky huge tree!
3 .Hoelbrak, suspected as stinky city cuz Norn’s technology is still in the ancient era and i dun even see some kind of a cesspool or a frozen cesspool there! or lemme spectulate tat these primitive brutes just make a hole on Hoelbrak’s frozen lake area for dumping their natural waste!
4. Rata Sum, as a highly advanced futuristic city of irritating midgets, i dun ever see any sort of “futuristic toilets”! But the again i suspected this midgets might found no need for toilets cuz they could just pee n poo to the outdoor of their floating city! Not to mention they got an accessible sea to dump it! Verdict? Futuristic stinky city!
5.Lastly, The Black Citadel, this steampunk city of horned kittens also doesn’t have any kind of toilets but then again i’m still convinced tat like any other felines, this kittens poo and pee anywhere! Making it stinky steampunk city!
And ofc no human bias here! Those unsophisticated savage xenos cities are stinky and they all stink too!

Well with the incoming cof1 death, are we expecting a massive decrease in ectos supply from thousands of cof farmers salvaging tokens and an increase to t6 dust price?(well molten cores/lodes would increase too but its niche impact isn’t as great as ectos). Add to the fact the playerbase welfare distribution gonna rock bottom (increasing poor players) due to cof death. Question is will ectos price skyrocket (decreased supply, stable demand) and if its worth to hoard ectos naw? or maybe ectos price will stay the same (decreased supply, decreased demand due to decreased players capabilities to buy)?

You want a hard mode dungeon? Go to Arah and try fighting the mobs. There’s hard mode. Or just go through Twilight Arbor, which got buffed to where a party of 2 warriors, a necro, an engineer, and a guardian get wiped often.
dude next time run 5 guards party through TA or Arah (trust me its a slow but steady faceroll inside well except simin which u’ll switch for dps toons)
the issue is cof1 is farmableby everyone.
Most other dungeon are rewarding only for optimized Group.
I expect to see the “zerker warriors only” issue to get way worse in the next weeks.
eh really?ur implying tat cof does not give moar reward for optimized groups, thing is ultra hyperspeed cof runs which doin every lap in 3 min yields almost 7g/h compared to normal speedruns which only yields 4g/hour (and no its not ur usual zerk warr only groups).
the only time spvp attracted me, is when spvp rewards u “bugged” 10 laurels months ago! (either unforeseen bug or intentional bug to attract peeps doin spvp lol). naw if anet decides to bug it again, i’ll jump in again

This is very astute. All evidence we have shows that doubling the precursor drop rate would actually increase the price, not decrease it. The shape of the curve looks something like this (obviously ignoring any actual numbers on the graph).

Most of the peeps who could afford to buy precursors off the TP are -like everybody knows it- cof farmers. problem is with the upcoming cof farm huge nerf, this group of peeps are surely having their welfare decreased by quite a margin, thus reducing demand because their income pool rate is decreased too. Unless u could prove compulsive buying behaviour also applies to precursor market?
