For the past 2 years I have been logging in 6/7 days per week and I have never received a key. Can anyone say for certain that they received a key from one of these chests?

This is just said: Every other franchise remained stable or even made more money. But GW2 is falling and falling… But let’s face it: If you release an overpriced expansion with so little content and horrible balancing, releasing nothing for nearly a year (except raid) people leave. And it seems they struggle to retain players. A friend of mine who started the GW franchise with the Beta of GW1 in 2004 or 2005 even quit playing.

I must say that I got back to gw2 two weeks ago. I wanted to do HoT expansion (story) this time on my Guardian. I finished it in 1 day.

Then I wanted to finish my Ascended gear (I only had trinkets and Ascended coat). I’ve finished it in 2 days playing ranked PvP with less then 50% win ratio.

In 3 days I’ve finished All the expansion story and got best gear in the game.

…seriously? I’ve expected far more from expansion, but all the content out there which isn’t story is not needed for me, if I don’t even need gold to get the best gear in the game, loot drops are horrible, everything is only about gold farm, or getting ACCOUNT based drops!

…also, AH system is the worst thing to happen to this game, everything went to hell because of it (and it’s just one of the bigger issues game has)

…so yeah, there really is less and less content each time, or it’s just tedious time-gated content with unique currencies for each map and account based loot (cuz AH system broke the game) which is totally bad and unrewarding.

I still play because I want finish level 100 fractals, raids and get my Bolt. But that’s about it

So all in all you still have content from the expansion to do…

Man, this is a such a non issue.. It’s soo easy to avoid zzZzzzzz

Really? I’ll never understand why people calculate like this.. My spark cost close to 0 beacuse I used mats in my bank so they were free.. precursor crafting is fine.

aside from agreeing that it’s cute, i must object to your theory of a pattern. Bifrost and Nevermore are both serious looking, and so are Astralaria and Frostfang

I am curious to know if you’re serious, or just joking about. Bifrost is in no way serious. It’s been renamed by MANY as the “rainbow d*ldo”

and tho frostfang can be taken a little more serious than others its still a gag gift type of weapon. But if thats the only two you choose to compare from then, you must see some kind of pattern there. If its not anets intentions on making it that way, they’ve done a bad job on trying to prove otherwise. Whether thats the case or not, the fact of the matter is, the legendarys that are out right now are, in fact, silly or serious and if it has a HoT alternative it is the opposite as far as being serious or silly. But i suppose we’ll just have to see, but let me say if the new ledgendary dagger comes out and its a quaggin squirting water out of its bum at lightspeed, i believe i’ll have proven my point.

Ascended will always be top tier, no more creep there..
Elite specs are most of the time better than core classes but the new Elite specs are side grades to the existing elite specs. This is what they said, if they hold their promise or not, we’ll we’ll see..

Meh, no biggie. Been around waaaay to long to be upset about a small hiccup like this. I remember an mmo back in the day where they had to rollback at least once a month, tough when 1 lvl took 50 hrs of grinding dungeons. So this is nothing..

Ty EU servers for yesterday, it was very easy getting all bosses in one run, people opened extra maps and waiting for it to be full before killing the bosses. Love this community, cheers.

1200 flax isn’t. 1200 flax is never okay. Who can farm that on their own? Who could possibly in their right mind farm 1200 flax when you get 1-2 a node at one node at every 3s? That’s a minimum of 30min to an hour of pressing ‘f’ with out going from node to node nor taking into account the maximum number of flax nodes generated in the world at a time (which is actually really small).

Legendary weapons are the only comparable thing to this as you need an equally large number of wood/metal. Here’s the thing though, ancient wood and orichalcum give 3-5 a node and can be salvaged. The only plant mat needed for legends cap out at 250.

1200 flax for a set of armor is too much, WHEN ITS ONLY AN EXOTIC SET OF ARMOR.

While I do agree it’s a bit much, I have 10 characters at the flax farm spot. You can get flax at a decent pace..

You should be ok, they restored my broomstick 2 months after I deleted it, didnt notice I deleted a character who had it at first.

Pip is also a term used in the old Star Wars rpg by West end games to represent small improvements in the PCs skills, like when you go from 3D6 to 3D6+1 that’s one pip .. So I like it cuz I’m kinda used to it..

Just made it to emerald with 4 losses total, and I solo qued every match. Met a few premades but only 1 loss.. So I haven’t had the issues many of you have had..

Was the first personal story to grindy for you? It is gated with lvl requirements.. There are alot of people already done with the story. The grind is a lie, you clearly never played an mmo with grind..

Seriously.. You may not like HoT, but it is not grind. Those who complain have never played a grindy game jeez. I blame the betas for peoples rage, just beacuse you experienced elit specs already you want it now.

This is an MMO, please take your time to accomplish something or you are probably better of in a differen genre.

Didn’t know that a no-grind philosophy means Korean MMO levels of grinding for points to unlock 1/6th of your character’s specializations.

You haven’t played a korean grind mmo have you? Beacuse this is nothing compared to korean grind mmo.. Come back when 1 hour in the hardest dungeon gives 0.05% of a lvl like a real korean grind mmo..

You will also need sw shovels for some of the guild hall upgrades =)
