[DmD] was inactive for a significant period of time and has only just been re-raised. As player numbers seem to be on the decrease we decided to do something different and out of the box to provide our community with a fresh burst of new friends.

Pandora I’m sorry that you were in [DmD] when we shelved it and spent our effort on maintaining [BoM], but I’m glad you found people to play with.

We currently run guild missions saturday night na time and will commence running missions on ocx time soon as well.

BoM are a mega server based PVX guild who run late NA into OCX. To celebrate the HoT pre-release we are giving away two upgrades to guild members, one to the top recruiter and one randomly to an active guild member. Full details are up on our website.

We use Teamspeak, and run guild missions weekly in NA time but plan to run them in OCX in the near future. Hit me or any of the [BoM] members who reply to this post for info or invites.

Evenna to say what I’ve already said privately publicly, this sounds like a great project. So for the others reading this I’ve donated my old fully upgraded guild [DmD] to this project and will be getting a second account to check out its progress in the future. We moved here 4 months ago after an exhaustive search. DR was selected because it was the community that we felt would be the best fit for us and spoiler alert it has been.

This issue is not one that can truly be fixed easily. We moved to DR before the leagues because we weren’t happy. Happy guilds do not move servers. We picked DR after a fairly intense search because it was the place where we felt like we would fit in. If you look at the responses in here its mainly from guilds who have moved. A bought guild does not buy into the community, just ask the season bandwagon servers.

Not one of the guilds who I have spoken to about transferring, (both those who moved and didn’t) were happy with their server’s community. The only true way to fix this is for communities to self regulate better. Don’t accept or tolerate unacceptable behaviour in any form. From experience and after conversations with others it is unacceptable to abuse people for not playing wvw because they want to do something else. Yet this is what some communities allow to happen, and happy guilds do not transfer.

Loyalty has been brought up again in regards to transfers, but server loyalty is not the only loyalty that should be considered. To me it is tiered:
1. Loyalty to yourself and your convictions,
2. Loyalty to your friends,
3 Loyalty to your guild mates, and lastly
4. Loyalty to your server.
Thus when it came down to it and my friends were talking about leaving the game because they were unhappy how should server loyalty outweigh that? My friends will always come first.

I know first hand that the choice was to transfer or stop playing. It got to the point where I would have to spend 90% of my time invisible in an invisible teamspeak channel because of the abuse I got for not playing wvw and playing a game I bought in a way I wanted to play. Now the opposite is true and I’m back in enjoying the game with the rest of the guild enjoying the game.

Its simple, communities need to self regulate better. There are good people from the top to bottom tiers and excellent guilds on every server. DR has been growing because the community is strong and people who have moved have passed on that message. Three of the smaller guilds who moved here have moved based upon my reports to them about how coming here has brought the fun back into the game and they moved without server assistance.

To surmise: a happy guild will not move server.

There are a heap of options for you on DR. Given the role you desire to take upon joining one of these guilds my advice would be to contact some of the posters from the main DR thread.

Carrick, I can recommend DR to you if you are considering a move back to an NA server (and there are a bunch of medium sized guilds any one of which could meet your requirements). There is one big recommendation I can give to you though regardless of where you think about going and that is to check out the servers rank history on http://mos.millenium.org there is generally a reason why a server would have recently dropped ranks, and servers on the decline are not usually happy places.

Noopleh, having read your post and how long you have been looking; you may need to open yourself to the possibility of a larger sized guild. Most of the guilds who actively recruit (and thus read this) will grow well past 20-30 in weeks. Also most large guilds especially old ones will struggle to field 20-30 player online round the clock. I hope you do find what you are looking for but you may have to go through the guild posts.

(On a side note we are PvX but at 400+ members are way outside your specific requirements)

My advice would be to hit up BHo.6234 he is the guild leader of HoD on DR but does with guildies high level fractals daily. They are a larger guild so people are round all time zones. (I would say join us but we don’t have a core group who regularly run fractals.)

Any guilds rich enough to pay for Xfers? I’m poor as kitten but I worth my weight in gold and I’m a kitten Norn.

Wild there are a large number of guild on DR who would be happy to have you and may assist with your transfer (DmD included). My advice is to contact any of the posters and talk to them in game and in TS. Each guild has its own flavour and it is best if you find the right one for you and your play style.

Plug for the DR night crew too. Come join us….

Guys DmD has been here for going on 10 weeks now and DR has continued to impress us. If you want to check out what DR is about then PM any of the DR people who have posted (or me) and they will tell you why it is such a good place to be. Other than that feel free to hang out with us on ladies night (this sat NA time) and see why us and others are so happy to be here.

Guys with the season coming to an end people will be looking for new homes. If you are looking to a server with a good bunch of people, who can perform well in the Bronze league levels then look no further than DR. My guild moved here 10 weeks ago and it now feels more like home here than our old server ever did.

There aren’t people shouting in TS or whisper chats, you don’t get abusive in game whispers if you decide to take an hour outside of WvW. The DR WvW community is a group of good people who enjoy WvW but realise that its not a job.

We came to DR a few days ago and cannot speak highly enough of the server. Even before the transfers they were positioned to do well in the leagues and now with a large number of transfers in they will be the server to watch.

We’ll a little birdy and a very reliable one at that has told me that a strong oceanic guild has held talks with the DR leadership and is considering transferring to them. If this is true and DR pulls off the impossible of convincing and oceanic guild to go bronze and go DR then they become a server to watch for the leagues.

Guys if you are looking for a new home then consider the try before you buy option that free transfers has given us. If you transfer to ET on the first day of free transfers then run with us. If we aren’t the great bunch of people we try to make ourselves out to be then transfer out before the prices rise again..
