16/04 – primetime EU

Brazilian player here attending FSP (EU) since day 1.

For the most part, the lag is pretty tolerable (ping is roughly 200-300. Many will think this unberable, but we have the kittentiest internet in the world, but its playable).

Only on very large scale fights (60 × 60) my ping skyrockets to 2.5k – 3k. and yeah, thats the gist of it: massive lag and sometimes DC.

overral: not sure if its Anet’s fault (server and stuff) or my internet, but it doesnt bother me that much.

Start a petition about this? maybe they’ll unlock it on your wardrobe, or something like that (i highly doubt it, tbh)

you are not being “punished”. selling the backpiece was your choice.

Also, its impossible for any company to say “oh, i wouldnt sell this or that item, cause you know, in maybe 3 years we’ll release an outfit that’ll match with it”.

i still have my fused gauntlet ticket.
IF i use it on say, a heavy weapon, i assume it wont unlock the glove skins for all 3 types of armor? (heavy, medium and light)

Cogs still drop but as vendor trash.

those are not the same cogs- we are talking about mystic cogs that were account bound that you got in the Infinarium last year and combined in the Forge with the frames, stuffing and glue to make the toy mini’s.

if I recall you got 150- 200 cogs from the end chest. Just shy of enough for one mini

So the guy who says he has 2 stacks- that is impossible- we are not talking about the same cogs.

i think you are mistaken man, i hear people saying they managed to get all miniatures last year. i myself have 2 and 2 stacks of mystical cogs

when you say “purchase”, is that only via real money, of if I trade enough in game gold for gems, will i also be eligible to gain the mini mr sparkles?

a bit of both, mostly on the zergs, is to survive and pop feedbacks, teleport for golems, that kind of thing.
i dont usually run around on my own, i’m always it at least 2-3 people.

Ok, i’m a total noob at this, but here we go:
also: english isnt my main language, so if i dont explain everything the right way, bear it with me =)

Next week, i’ll change internet providers, and i will need to provide a new authenticator code. wouldnt be a problem, if the kitten thing didnt die on me (google wants me to fill some 2 way thing for the authenticator, which i cant do).
Ok, searching for a solution, it seems i’ll have to reset my acc and authenticator authorization. so the link says i need my GW2 serial code, which should be provided on an e-mail sent by Arena net when i first bought the game. Thing is, there is no serial code there, and i have no idea how to retrieve it.

could anyone help me through this? =)

my theory:
maybe after the events of SoS, Edair banished her for letting coby and the gang free (even though they saved their asses), kinda like Stannis with the onion knight: "thanks for the save, but you are a smuggler and i'll chop ya fingers kitten". and since King Baede was already pretty much facing death, he couldn't unbanish livia. so, instead of killing livia, he just banishes her from the shining blade or kryta

So, my suggestion would be this:

update skills, so they reflect the bonuses they receive from traits, so for example:

a necromancer with the “Ritual of Protection” trait, would have its well skills display the protection boon.

Are the badges in the inventory of one of your characters? If so, the BoH will not be added into the Currency Wallet until you log in to those characters.

as a matter of fact, yes, they were in my ranger. but the first thing i did after i logged in today, as log in on all my characters, to put their money together in the wallet. and no, i didnt miss my ranger =P
(tbh, i’m also missing 1 stack of ascalonian tears, but i can live witouth them)

So, i know for a fact i had over 3k badges of honors (from wvw and the achievement chests), but somehow my account wallet shows exactly 1k badges. fix it please? =)

So, i’m new to necromancers, and i’m just loving them 8D

mainly, i’m running a well build, with the flesh golem elite, and wanted to know/opinions on their AI, shouldn’t we be able to control them better, like rangers? something simple, like “attack” and “return”, cause the flesh golem insists on aggroing monsters out of nowhere, drive mobs out of the wells, and so on.

any tips for me, regarding that matter? =)

So, here i was, choosing a minipet from my collection to take on my adventures today, and it occured to me: i don’t see people parading their minipets at all o.o

The whole point of having minis is to parade them with you, so you can show them off to everyone, and it came to me that a cool way to do that would be granting the minipets bonuses, when active, such as Chaunsey would give +1%gold drop from monsters, or whatever.

would you guys like that? minimal bonuses of course, just an excuse so people would take the dust off their minipets and travel with them

another thing, for full time grenade kits, would be soldier set be better? since i mostly solo, having tough + vit would help a lot

so with the new mechanic (not so new, haven’t played my engie in a long time) that allow our kits to benefit from our sigils:

if i’m running full time kits, such as grenade or flamethrower, does it matter which lvl of weapon i’m using? since i’d only be taking benefit of my sigils, or it would be a good idea to keep upgrading my weapons?
