Nets are for fishing, not for weapons.
So what?
If I want NOT to try WWW but win 24/7 – what I need to do? Be at the same server with PVE-girls, who will never able to playing WWW hard?
So you’re insulting us PvE players and you’re expecting real responses? Everyone has a different play style and there is no need to insult them. If you really want to play WvW “hard” then go to one of the dominating WvW worlds and wait in the queue.
Font colors – no.
However a message that appears every time you log into one of your characters in the chat box like GW1 had, yes.
tbh i am wondering when guild v guild will be introduced, this is “guild” wars after all not “world” wars
The name “guild wars” does not come from GvG. Rather it comes from the three human kingdoms – Ascalon, Kryta, and Orr. The three wars ended due to the Charr invasion.
Just an FYI for anyone actually thinking about trading with this guy, Zap and The Hunter are both 20-30g higher than the price of Leaf of Kodzu on the TP right now.
Scythes will be back when we get back to Elona, I want my dervish back!
Dervish is not coming back.
There are much more important matters for ANet to do / fix than silly little dances.
BOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG <—- Basically just a giant long grind fest… The cut scene wasn’t even that interesting, and suffered from bugs of no sound when the Karka appeared.
No… They WILL be adding Guild Wars. ANet just decided to sell us an unfinished product and will implement it later.
you do realize that this was never promised as being part of the game right?
stop being so mother kittening entitled
I’m entitled to a game I payed full price for, that isn’t even finished.
Guild battles are not a core feature of GW2, and it was never supposed to be. The name is a referencing a major event in lore, nothing else. GW doesn’t revolve around guild battles, and thankfully it never will. I won’t count on such a frivolous feature to be added anytime soon, as there are much more important issues to be solved both in PvE and PvP.
GvG is a much more frivolous feature than SPvP is, to be honest.
MUCH MUCH MUCH better idea than what is currently in place. It sounds so much more incredibly fun than the grind of getting one now.
The name is not a reference towards any game mechanic, but instead a reference to the Guild Wars that rocked the world of Tyria long ago and are a part of its history.
In light of the fact that Anet has made it clear it wants to encourage a community that doesn’t breed animosity through conflict (within servers), I can’t see them inplementing actual G vs G. That’s what sPvP and WvW is for

Source? And aren’t we a little grumpy today
I am grumpy actually. :S
And there is no source, I’m just saying, if they don’t add it, I’m most likely going to end up quitting the game.
It’s a unique weapon choice, but doesn’t fit any other classes well at all.
Skill capturing NO thx. it may fit gw1 style but not gw2, for simple reason it was a prohibitive system, it made my life hell until I could get specific skills that made it so much easier to do a certain task.
gw2 map system is infinitely better than gw1 so NO thax, gw2 map system is ions ahead of anything gw1 ever had.I do agree with a comeback of zones like underworld, sorrow’s furnace and domain of anguish.
Except for the fact that missions were actually fun to do, and the quests were equally as fun.

I feel like it would fit the warrior and ranger better than the guardian. However, the guardian does need a good ranged weapon.
Think about the consequences of having different fees between the two sets. Think about how that changes demand for items, and how that would change prices for items. Think of how that would modify the behavior of the TP.
I don’t want to think anymore.
I actually agree. All these idiots posting, “Don’t add it, because it’s in WoW.” Seriously, just quit this game already. You’re the reason this game isn’t reaching it’s full potential. There is NO reason that there shouldn’t be 10+ man dungeons that offer greater drops and rewards, because they require more coordination and are harder.
The server is full.. that’s what kind of crap it is… It’ll eventually become a “high” populated server and he’ll be able to join.
I believe it’s just a mistake, and is easily fixable. You may be able to put this in (it probably is already in there though) the bug section of the forums.
Completely agree, if you’re not going to even put in the work to create a working LFG system, and are just making it difficult for players to find groups for dungeons, relax the spam filter so we can at least talk.
No, please no. Keep temp banning away for something as silly as a misuse, away.
I agree, there’s no reason mounts shouldn’t be in the game while we have waypoints. Everyone boohooing and crying like a baby that we don’t “see the world the way the dev’s want us to”, then, why are we not allowed to see it the way we want to? With waypoints, we miss most of the world anyways, the majority of players are doing map completion for the gift of exploration, not to “see the world.” Another badly thought out argument is that it makes the world small. And waypoints don’t? Honestly, I’m teleporting throughout the world and am able to go anywhere in an instant, how does that not make the world feel “small?”
Hard to choose, I would make both and just go into SPvP with it, test your skills out for a bit and choose from that.
No… This would completely make it unfair, and it sounds incredibly stupid to give someone an advantage. If you think Asuran’s have an advantage, then go make one.
Completed is not vanquished. Vanquished from GW1 was killing all the enemies in a map, but in GW2 the enemies respawn no matter what. I do like the idea of having a small icon telling us that we’ve completed it.
You didn’t collect any minis, you bought them. With this being the case, no, it shouldn’t count towards the overall progress.
No, it’s not in the game, it does look really cool though.
Yes, DR does carry over to other instances if you do MK enough times.
No, ANet can not transfer the item.
Yes, you have a chance to get the exotics on any level.
One way to get onto a specific server is just check the servers, if that server is full, just log out and re login. Basically just keep logging out and logging in, and checking if the server is still full.
Agreed, it was really hyped up to and I was very disappointed (I’m playing as a warrior). With only two under water weapons (not sure about other professions) and all the bugs, it’s very frustrating.
I’m sort of mixed on the idea.
At the moment people grind The Cursed Shore because it’s the most ‘profitable’. Making gear with better bonuses at specific events would just circulate people around them events.
I’ve always thought excessive gear-grinds are a somewhat lazy way of lengthening the amount of time people will spend playing. I’d rather an epic quest that takes me around the corners of Tyria, fighting hard bosses, solving riddles, that gets me the components for a piece of equipment (which is where I felt they could have gone with the Legendary weapons). They’ve shown they can make nodes exclusive for people, so why not chest spawns with the component?
At the same time, we do need content to keep us occupied at cap. I personally don’t feel a gear-grind would fit that, especially for bonuses and stats. We just need more content that gives incentive to do without making it required for higher stats.
P.S. Your name is BabelFish, not Commander Shepard. That’s just plain false advertising.
I’m honestly up for the idea of anything that lengthens the game, as it stands right now.. I’m desperately trying to get me one of the fancy dark skull Halloween shield skins. :C
As long as there’s snow. That was one of the coolest parts of seeing LA in GW1, as well as Ascalon City.
I have to honestly completely agree, I’ve ran out of things to do besides get better “looking” gear, and I’d prefer to get some better stats to be honest.
Is there a suggestion here?
My Charr kind of looks like that. ^
I completely agree.
Super heroes never wear capes. And I consider myself to be a super hero in this game.
This is a forum section for the Halloween Event, not Wintersday. Nice thoughts though.
Trust me, you didn’t miss anything, just look up the five second video on YouTube, and you won’t be disappointed.
It will definitely be carried until the last day of the event.
They’re all pretty much balanced in terms of ranged, it just depends on what you like. Every class has ranged attacks. Guardian is by far the most boring and worst with ranged.
There will most definitely not be any alternative plans for you guys getting the achievement. It’s basically tough luck. However, I do believe the event runs into November (to the 3rd, possibly?), if your power is back within the first few days of November, you can still get the achievement.
Yes please, I like mounts ^^
It’s really silly to not do a thread search.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Dyes-Please-make-them-account-bound/first
I think people assume that the more threads on a subject will allow the devs to read the suggestion more easily, which holds up in some cases.
But I agree that dyes should be account wide.
I agree, it would be cool to be more subtle and assassin-like.
Nope. Go learn it in real life if you want to dance like that.
