getting kinda tired of chasing around carrots..

on the trinity..
the only fun thing in trinity setup is being the tank,! getting focused by the big boss.. but the responsibility is huge..!
DPSer is a mindkitten t that spam rotation with mostly without getting the heat of the mobs.. (most boring role in the trinity)
healer is also boring.. going around replenishing health bars, buffs.. and pretty much the same thing for every different raids..
but when you get max gear in the whole gear grind spiral, it will just become the same… DPS race!!
without the trinity..
each class has its own responsibility with their lives.. while it did put the excitement up a bit equally,.. the need for cooperation is mostly diminished..
each have its own merit and demerit..
but if someone is looking for trinity.,.. than i guess he/she wonders into the wrong game.!

time is money.. money is gems.. gems is gold.. gold is pretty legendary

Op does not really wants self challenge.. he wants his rewards. his trophy. his titles. his materialistic items that he can show off to everyone else, that he can gain advantage off.. for completing content that is made challenging.. in other words,. prestige of the elite!!,.. for others to drools upon..

nobody mention emberfarm?

mesmer is getting a boost on populations after cof1..
the least is surely the engineers.. they have to wear a rucksack on kits usage, have only 3 weapon that wont be seen most of the time… the class is bad for skin progression.

all games that is softer to less “skilled” players ends up being much more successful than games that that is otherwise.! dota vs lol anyone? because while there’s only a handful of skilled players, there’s a big mass of amount of a less skilled ones! catering to “skilled” players will only ends up with difficulty that is mostly too much for the un-skilled.. which ultimately be a content that most won’t enjoy / skipped! and Im not even talking bout the old / disabled crowds.

I think that by this time next year, new players would be overwhelmed by the amount of things he/she should do to be on par stats / as fashionable as the betaplayers. overwhelmed / possibly quits.

they could pull of the….

burn out sounds about right..

if you really in a dire need for ascended and in scarce of gold/mats,.. don’t do sab this patch, farm mats instead.
sab will certainly be back in the future,.. if you don’t like the color green and yellow that is,..

I dont think its legendary enough… maybe on the same lvl with those holiday skins..

Im skipping ascended, and pretty much given up on legendaries.
I just hope anet wont shake their heads and really go out of their way to force me to make it!!

I want rings, amulet and accessory to be visible visually, there so few of base back piece base items, and there’s too much of back piece skins available already.!

focusing on pve will make the game a part time job that you will have to do ingame daily, especially involving ascended and timegates! well… if you dont mind much2 more daily task, or grind,.. than its all good. .

they wont have the freedom they need to get their imaginations run wild when they got to pay for food, pay electric bills, buy luxuries, etc2. to do their boss’s demands… while trying to meet a large variety of player’s expectations and keep the game sustainable against other strong competitors..

how artist felt when their art is turned to another business..

Imagine that ascended > exotics, would be the same as exotic > rare for example..
if I want build variety or alts, I can only use rare(exotics).
I can only choose 1 stats combination that I can use for the rest of my time with my 1 character with exotics(ascended) because of the nature of how I get it, with time gates.
won’t be that bad,.. but I will play with sub-optimal stats most of the time!

agreed!! with the way they would be obtained,, with mass time gates and crafting mats, i don’t think build variety would be possible!

I see many many people AFK @ lion’s arch.. wonder if it counts for something against single player..

they can just deactivate MF stats in MF gear without changing anything.. left us with 2 other stats..

since the gifts are already given, i think its best to just accept it. maybe we’ll get a better one next year.!
but i do agree that it is kinda lackluster for a 1 year gifts.

Imagine what will the side effect be if anet put a +20 levels on the gem store.. for maybe.. 1000gems..

would be possible.. in the 2nd year brthday gifts or 3rd year brthday gifts or 20th year brthday gifts.
although a mas free transfer will just lowered low population servers and make more lags to high populated ones..

how would you design a perfect and challenging world of GW2?
is it a place full of mobs that follows you to the end of the maps with tons of CC to slow you, immobilize you, or froze you?
is it with mobs that instead of just follows you and instead of just auto attacking, it calls its friends to shower you with one shot blows?
is it a place where most mobs are stacked together, and have millions of hp, and triple aegis that stacks every 10 seconds?
…………….
personally i would find them rather and mostly annoying than anything else..
there’s the portal to wvw if you need them you know.. where mobs are played by humans instead of AI.

you’d be surprise to see how many people find that the most FUN thing to do is getting those sweet sweet loot. seeing some orange items gained over and over again.. opening boxes that gain them gold in hope of a rare chance to get the winning lottery.. even with all the repetition thats going on within the activity!
well sure.. some people like challenge and hard fights, but as much as how many of these people that like hard content, there are equal or more people that like ease content..
not all people think like you and your thought doesn’t represent all.
what you’re saying is just..
I find champ zerging / CoFarm / [insert next farm here] boring, and I dont want to see everybody else gain materials/ gold from them, thus the perfect thing to do is nerfing them!!!

i suspect they will give different skinned infinite gathering tools with different animation.. heck they could even make gathering tools that match legendaries!

we get laurel each day and monthly. we get it with time gating, but everyone could get one if they want to. we get ascended trinkets from it.
We know that it is accaunt bound,.. but with some mystic forge recipe begin to need some item that can be gotten through laurel, I was wondering.. how much does laurel values?
what do you think? if you can trade laurel, how much gold are you willing to pay for it?

ascended weapons will probably cost some serious time gating refining with mediocre to rare mats.
a full legendary gear however, will not cost an arm or a leg.. it will only cost a kidney. =D

this happens with some newbies.. morever if they’re ex gw1 player. experiencing drastic change from their game that they put on an altar to worship and compare about.

heavy cannons!!

warrior can tag mobs as much. using longbow / hammer. traiting for adrenaline gain. you can literally get that big fire aoe up 100% of the time + longbow #3, with some hammer aoe #3 + its burst and some auto attack cleave, warrior can do serious tagging.!!

no class can out run warrior when he is on GS / S-Wh. alternating between whirlwind, rush, bullrush, leap, and swiftness. with perma 25% pasive movement speed.

the only thing i hate is the voice.. if it doesn’t have such annoying voice, i might be interested…

most boring : guardian (don’t even have to dodge!)
least boring : thief , mesmer
piano rotation aren’t my thing either,,..

I agree.. all of my friends have left the game already..
the early lv grinds really put off some newbies.

because it looks like a karka. imma say that it drops from a karka champ..
well… most people hates karka as much as dreges anyway, so i doubt we’ll be seeing it if its specially drop from them.

but only if you’re a good player.!
