I guess the game I really want to play is GW1 with GW2 mobile combat and persistent world complete with energy and healers. Even the dungeons/missions told a better story there. One day someone will make that game.

I agree that the stalking list aka people following you is pretty distasteful. I mean even if we played together, if I don’t want to keep in touch with someone why should he/she be able to track me down?
Mutual agreement on friend request should be the norm.

This is getting weirder and more frustrating by the patch, but I’ll ask the question anyway: suppose 2 guilds are each running their own individual bounties. A member of guild A discovers Sotzz and fails to engage him, so after X-time he de-spawns, causing ALL the barrels in the area to respawn. Where does that leave guild B, whose members may already have gone through half the barrels in GF without any luck, only to see them ALL respawn again?

Exactly! This is what happened to us this weekend and this is really infuriating.

GW1 had titles displayed all the time and none get kitten off with them for 7 years.

Actually no. The titles were only visible when putting the mouse over the player or selecting him, so it was not overwhelming the screen.
That would be a much better solution.

If my class could use a trident I would definitely craft the legendary for it. You like it? Go for it. After all more and more people will have a legendary so you’d better not choose what to craft just to display it for others, because in the end no one is going to be impressed eventually.

I’m so disappointed by this update… I can’t even find the words.
My guild was really anticipating the guild missions. We were thrilled to have some new content to do together. But the fact is we are a small guild, so we are left on the side of the road.
We putted a lot of time and effort into building our little community and we feel like Anet is telling that we are second class players because our guild is not big enough. No matter how skilled a player you are it doesn’t matter.
I can’t even fathom how they could think that having the same cost for large and small guild could enhance everyone’s guild experience.

I have the same issue. It’s really annoying not to be able you is who anymore.

Though keep in mind that when they will upgrade the legendaries’ stats if you only keep the skin you will probably not benefit from the upgrade.

Female warrior vabbian armor
Elite druid female armor
(and so much more in term of armor style but well…)

I still open them. Unid dye is one of the most exciting drops for me. I almost always get <1s dyes but I can’t help myself.

On the other hand there are people who enjoy having a lot of dyes to choose from and don’t see waypoints as an issue since the world is not that big compared to other games. How would your system benefit them?

Plus this would mean creating hundreds of new recipes instead of working on really new content.

Okay. That made me laugh man. I mean leave it to the MMO gamer to whine over the loot.

I’m not really whining but that was actually a bit of a shock to be left on the side of the road as far as the personnal story is concerned.
I was playing a warrior, and was supposed to be the hero and was pretty surprised to see the sword go to a scholar. This logic seemed king of strange.

Absolutely not.
I’d rather stop playing then paying a monthly fee, whatever the game may be.

I would also love to see cantha back. Not just Kaineng and Shin Jea.
The jade sea and the petrified forest really were my favorite places in the game.

RNG is a game breaker, especially if the majority of the game play is based on the RNG. Then add the lack of items to play for…and the RNG really is annoying plus no fun. Then add the diminished returns on top of that.

I don’t think it would work. The Characters are most likely attributed an unique id number at creation like it was the case on GW1, and thus you can never recreate the exact same character according to the server.

My only concern is that I have to salvage more items in just one month then I did in 5 whole months. Buying salvage kits to salvage an item I could sell mean a big monetary loss for me.

When someone leave just before or during the final boss not allowing the group to call someone else for help would be like punishing them.

Yeah the actual design is really terrible

I also find the dailies update completely disappointing. I was looking forward to playing like I want to, avoiding the tasks I find less interesting and what do we have now…? we are FORCED to craft, FORCED to group, FORCED to go underwater which I absolutely hate….. not to mention the finishing kill in combos.

I really don’t feel like bothering to do the dailies anymore. This is getting less and less fun.

It’s a matter a priority. Just complete maps instead of running dungeons of farming.
It’s that simple.

Terribly bad idea.
It will only lead to people not wearing exotic having tremendous difficulty to groupd for dungeons to get the tokens for the above mentioned exotics…
