its a nerf not stat removal, why would you want new gear? cause you will do 10~20% damage on crits?
plus if you are on a 2h wep you’ll have a 2nd slot u can just put like sigil of fire if you dont have it and get back that lost dps

i dont think i get this ferocity bs… is it just a new name for “crit damage nerf” ? or is it a diferent stat??

u need to upgrade the whole PC.

Even with high end computer you will still see low fps in wvw zergs.
The lowest fps i’v ever seen with my system (specs in sig) was 18fps just an hour ago @ 1080p with shadow, char model limit & detail on Low, everything rest maxed.

its weird though because the min. i used to see before was 25fps, seems wvw performance is droping every week, i now ask Anet wtf is going on?

Piken players say its ok to double team because its strategy bla bla bla and they dont care SFR is double teaming them now.. so what was your strategy when you doubled teamed with Viz on 1st round? to give victory for them already?

Wouldnt it be wiser to team up agaisnt Viz instead, knowing they would come strong for league?

But what i feel its like, if they (piken) cant be nº 1 international EU server so let just Vizuna be than.

There was no strategy on the 1st round, just pure envy and hatred against SFR acomplishments

It would be great. Sometimes you get downed because of lag and stuff like that and this would slightly increase the chance to keep your stacks which sometimes arent easy to gather.

Just me or the fps has gotten worst since today maybe yestarday at patch?

The minimum fps i had seen before was like 23fps on EB, now i just saw like 15~18fps…

I have unparked my cores on win7 but i dont think thats the cause…

I dont get it what Piken has to win by double teaming with Vizuna… seriously, they might finish 2nd this week but by the end the league 1st and 2nd place will be between viz n sfr.

As a tip, it’s best to overclock yourself so you know the values and if something goes wrong, you understand how to easily adjust.

Places like that sell “OC” services for people who can’t take 1minute of their time to do it themselves and want to pay the extra $20+ for literally nothing.

Seeing that you have a 780 I really wouldn’t worry about lag in GW2. I haven’t seen any lag on the 780 HoF I have.

well i did like their oc on the 920 as i didnt know how to do long time ago. thos time waz me who asked for the oc, they charge nothing, i dont feel comfortable on gbis nrw platform and i rather leave it for the pro.
about losing values…. they use to leave it saved on the bios so…

@ 4.5 I would say you will not be limited by the cpu for anything, that’s for sure (Outside of multithreaded uses wherein 6cores/12threads would be of use)

What vid card do you have coming with your prebuilt?

no video card coming on this pc, already got a gtx 780.
its a good store btw, they even gona do the OC for me.
They used to sell all the 920,s @ 3,6 in the past, never seen any1 doing that

I just bought a new pc and it hasnt arrived yet but i do wonder how much better it will perform in WvW compared with my old i7 920 @ 3.8.
I run 1080p everthing maxed but shadows on low along with those 2 “new” wvw graphic options both on low too (not lowest) and the min avg fps i see most of the times in HUGE battles is like around 10~20fps, i think i’v seen in a couple situations like 5 fps min but that was rare.

So what kinda fps can i expect in HUGE battles with those settings on a 4770k @ 4.5?

my pc i just bought has a Evga Supernova Nex650G 80+ Gold, i heard it is very good.

edit: seems i explained myself wrong, we did run to defend the batteries 3 times, but wat i meant was, after we defended the first batteries and ran to the dragon we managed to dps him down to 50% while he was on that stun phase so basicly we ran straight away again to defend the batteries after that.

that and heavy armor metal sounds from moving also would be great, idk which game does that well, not sure if its skyrim or dragon age or something

I’m looking for an active, decent sized WvW/pvx english speaking guild that mainly plays around 11pm~3am UK time (or 00~04 CET) during weekdays.

Basically a night capping guild i suppose.

My daily job only allows me to play during this time so a list of such known guilds on Seafarer’s Rest would be much appreciated

its supposed to be a quick simple feature, i know they are probably working on major updates, but still….

This is a simple thing that could be very handy because most organized guilds dont want to run on a “blob” by having normal commander tag on or getting random players following them which can ruin their gameplay. So what we do is, we target our guild commander (ctrl + t) for a personal guild tag, the problem is the color.. when you enter in the middle of an enemy zerg with all that red cluster sometimes you lose yourself

That is why Anet should create a similiar commander tag for guilds only with a diferent color like green, or ideal would be a tag with flashing effects for more visibility.

I dont think this type of server matching up is a very good one, yes you are always getting new servers to fight but sometimes you dont even get any competition.

IMO it should be like, your server wins the week you go up 1 tier, you end up 2nd you stay in that tier, you lose you go down 1 tier, simple as that. This way you’ll be fighting servers with competition more close to yours, plus giving good server rotativity.

This current match up system is horrible because its just way too random and also the original one (by rating) where sometimes you would fight the same servers for 2 months which would get really boring…. (and impossible for players to get 100% world completition)

How many points you have doesn’t even matter unless you’re only playing for the 2500 achievement. If you’re not the last survivor, someone trying their hardest gets the same reward as the guy who puts on auto run and went AFK the entire match. Only the last survivor gets the 1st place chest even though all the other people getting higher scores.

There are a few things that need to be changed of course, especially if it’s meant to be based on a hunter’s survival game.

I was really excited when i tried this minigame because of the whole survival thing, but im getting really disapointed with the score system…. even though im surviving alot and killing everyone im still at the bottom in the score list…..

A player comes up to me and says “kill me”, i felt it was like a trap and ignored, but he kept insisting so i killed him, i did wonder though.

at the end i look at the score and that dude won… i mean like wtf…

I was searching on the web, theres tomshardware benchs but they are 7 months old and it was in PVE, we need this answer from Anet, wats the best CPU for gw2?

edited, k i checked 950 for set, i think its reasonable, i could get 3 sets with the badges i got, and i got a job…

i use the healing signet, ~3.5k healing with 16sec CD + the passive

guys, thiefs may do lot of dmg but dont forget we have low hp, for exemple my main (thief) has less than 12k hp…. i get downed too easly and i lose my bloodlust stacks many times.

the good thing about desolation is that the queues dont exist and still we have many wvw organized guilds inside, but we indeed need more wvw players

For those major guilds who dont like RUIN on blacktide its easy to handle it, just go back to far shiverpeaks, desolation, or any other lower tier server.
